Speaker 1: Elvis Durrand presents the off Air Show Steery Jones and Greg Tea. This is episode number forty six, Yes it is. I'll be off air shall Welcome back from the weekend. I'm scary. Greg teams over here. What's up dude? And the bald creak Ronnie, what's up dude? What's that? Man? What's that? Dude? I had a great weekend start already is how we're starting an awesome weekend. Not about you guys, had a really nice weekend. I mean I feel like my life is better lived through Instagram than it is in real life because and and that's the that's the way it goes for most people's summers. Do you notice that all snap Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook people putting up all this crap. I don't post anything. So you're saying that when you look back, it looks like you had a lot more fun than you really did in reality. Yeah. I just think there are a little tiny snapshots and then everybody tries to out each other. You know, Actually, I I actually had a really decent weekend. Friday night I had to work on the Hornblower, that's the party cruise. On Friday, I was blowing the hornblower how to do that? And then Friday night, when I got done, all of a sudden, I got a phone call from a friend of mine up the street and he's like, what are you doing? Come on, So we were out swimming in his pool smoking cigars. Hey did you document that on Snapchat? I did not, because my whole life don't need to be on the exactly. So we were out there to like maybe one almost two o'clock in the morning, you know, just having drinks and cigars and jumping in the pool and whatever. I have this problem. I feel like I have to I have to out weekend everyone's weekend because because I look at everybody's stories on Instagram, the Instagram stories. Now it's got me going crazy. I don't know why Facebook. Everyone's posting stuff on Facebook. Everyone's having a great time, and like, wait a second, I need to have more fun than you. So I went to Montalk that sound more fun? Kidding me? It was immense, immense fun. God, it was basically a bunch of us all partied. We went to Gurneys. They redid this place, Gurney's. You know, it used to be like this creepy like shock of a place like when all these awful like like awful cabin looking like maybe you should explain what Montalk is to some of the audience members and have no clue with that, Okay, I should? We don't know, right, murfrees Brok, you've heard, you've heard of the world famous Hampton's, Right, I guess people know what the Hampton's are. I guess you know. Listen, you've all got you've gone to the lad You've got up to the lake, You've gone to the shore, you've gone to the beach, any place that's a getaway in your local community, on the waterfront, on the water. Yeah, this is this is Hank is the Scary Jones equivalent? It's not. Do you know that there's many parts to the Hampton's. You know there's the Jersey Shore. People go to the Jersey Shore of the Hamptons. And then you got a decision to make what are the handings you want to go to? So I went to a place called mont Talk, where it's a lot more down to earth people. It's it's like an old like Cee cee Marina style town meets like city people and they sometimes clash and then the side is it too hot to drive around when my car top down? I have the air condition on. How do I got a cruise up and down the street? You know, of course you're cruising with your car top That really gets Yeah, but it gets really interesting at the bars at night because you've got these old fisherman dudes, no joke with like sixty seven year old women and live music hanging out, bopping around, you know, for like eight dollars of beer or whatever. Old fisherman dudes. Yes, oh yeah, meets people like me in the place. It's like a hybrid and like it's a mishmash of people. But anyway, we had a great time. And Gurney's is a redone. They did. It's like a whole resort joy. Any cover bands out there, yes, I don't. I forgot the names of them, though I should have brought you know what, I love cover band names, man, I love them, love them. Weren't you how many bottles did you pop? Okay? So well that that's the thing you know, is is the is rosette. You know Rose. It's all about Rose. Now Rose. So we were we we got a day bed on the beach and we got the three leader bottle of rose. Now, you know what a one leader, you know what a fifty looks like. That's a regular bottle of wine. Right, so they got a three leader bottle. It's like, wow, we can't be outdone now, right, But the cabana next to us with you gotta give me some music. I gotta follow the story man being the picture. I don't have music for you. Boy, come on, how do you If I was sitting where you're sitting, I would have had this thing down party that feels like the story alone is exciting enough. It's not exciting. Not exciting. Bacherette party. Central'll give me the music for the bachelorette party. The bachette party. I don't know. So far, I've been giving you all these leadings. You're not following any of the leads. Clark top down cruising, you got cruising. Okay, I'm gonna give you some because you know the audience wants to pay attention. Right, both freaks right on my keyboard today. Oh yeah, DJ Kalin with Drake. We're not telling you know, no piano today bottles and we're doing something special. So we were hanging out on the beach. Yeah, we had a three lead bottle of rose got me in the moon and then full of hot girls now feeling with their bachelorette party. Yeah, they were like, screw you, We're gonna get the sixth leader bottle bottles rose. Oh my goodness, they out rose to us. Well, three leaders or six leaders had rose envy because like out roads, oh my goodness, and that what are you doing? And then I found out you got a bottle of tino, because there's such a thing as a fifteen leader bottle of rose. Gotta get the magnum, gotta get the back magnum. Is only one leader one point seven five? My god, that's like not even two leaders? Need it? All right? Now? Last year ahead? Right now? This story sounds just to picture that. Ye, hands up? Is it just me? Is it just me? Is this so so good? I should be beautiful breeze? Just me? Is this so so good? I shouldn't never? Yeah, you don't want to know that, you know, you don't want to know the real lyric. That's all right. I like it, But the music it tells a story. If you're just talking to me, I'm not really getting it. I feel like Drake is the honesty of this summer. They played no less than nine Drake songs that afternoon. Yeah, so that was that. If you want to reach out to us on the off show, you can always call us a one hundred two two zero one hundred when we are recording the podcast. Oh wait, we say it's when the cats are away the mice will play. It's not when the mice away the cats will play because the cats in charge, So the cat's got to be gone for the mice to have fun.
