There's people walking around. They don't understand that I'm on the radio right now. Oh that's kind of awful, right, look out because people are walking Yeah, yeah, because people are walking around looking at me and I'm just standing here in my bathing suit on the beach and the Bahamas at the Atlantis and people look like, what the hell's this guy doing? Screaming like that? So yeah, because if you say look out on the beach, it's almost like, is there a tinal wave come in? Is there a shark in the water? Like, Oh, you really want to start today talking about sharks? After? What's what we're about to tell everybody? What are we about to tell everybody? Oh, it looks like we're not gonna have Tarin on the show today. I'll let you hear the last oh the Sharknado thing. Oh yeah, we're gonna get into that here in a second. On the Off Air Show, I'm Scary Jones. We got Greg t here and uh a little late to the party. Is the bald Freak. He's on his way, and this is I didn't even I didn't even shout out show number. What is this number? Thirty five? Now we are at thirty six. No, no, no, I think it is thirty five. And that figures that I'm not in the studio. And then, you know, bal freak thinks like he could just come waltson on in whenever he's ready. Yeah, well no, yeah, yeah, bald Freak is on vacation here. It's like substitute teacher time, right. He doesn't care, no respect, no no respect whatsoever, because you know, you know, you're not here to whip him into shape. So he just, uh, you know, just kind of saunters in. Oh, here he comes. It's up, bald Freak. Hey, Ronnie, nice to show up today. I'm so glad that we invite you to be a part of the podcast. Thanks so much. Man. Ronnie's not having a great day. Yeah, Ronnie's he's walking his keyboard out of the room. Why are you doing? What are you doing? He's not set up. He's so angry. He walked out of the pro test. Are you kidding me? Yeah, he just walked out. He calls me cranky pants, but bald Freak is the ultimately cranky pants today. I don't know what he is. Unbelievable. So Greg T is in the Bahamas. We're trying to do a podcast at half half strength. Um, he's at this. You've been sent there for the week. Technically this is a vacation for you. So yeah, what happened really, to really be honest with everybody, was is that um Atlantis wanted to do a big sales promotion with the morning show, but we had come off of two solid weeks of vacation, so it would look like, you know, the kidding, the whole show is gonna go down there. So Straighten eight, our executive producer and Elvis got together and he said, you know what, just send Greg T. He's married, he's got kids. I'll look it. It sounds like you you have two cutters and a piece of string. That's what you're broadcasting from. So we're on sky so I see video of Greg T. He's got a beautiful it's like a postcard in the background. You've got the palm trees, got the crystal blue ocean behind you, and yeah, of how I love your dedication to the podcast that you have to you know, Oh, there's the there's the towers you always see on the commercials, you know, and they see people coming down the slide. I see the Atlantis tower. This is great, so great for radio. By the way. Yeah, it's weird being here while you guys are there. And the problem that I have is that I can't be away from work because I just feel like, you know, there's so many situations where as soon as the guy's gone, somebody else slides in and that's it. Look at Windo Star, He's the class a example of this. So at the end of the day, you've been pretty much your your paid. This is not even coming out of your vacation bank. You you went on vacation with your family, all expenses paid to go there, and it's hand for a week. Yeah, that's exactly it. I feel embarrassed, but I have to say that, Yeah they're Atlantis is picking a tap up on this So I love Atlantis. Yes you do. Now, Um, we had a couple of things to get to today. Yeah, one of the things being the fact that this whole podcast was supposed to be dedicated to Tara read Tara Reid was supposed to be here today with us, and unfortunately, because of what happened on the Jenny McCarthy show on Sirius x M the other day, unfortunately, um she canceled the rest of her radio tour. She was supposed to be in here for a few hours talking to radio stations around the country, and then after she was done with that, she was gonna come in here and do our podcast live in studio. And by the way, we were the only ones to get clearance for both audio and video. Okay, so two things. Let me just say real fast A. I'm a huge fan of the Sharknado series caught the ball. She also balfeg Ranni was a massive, massive fan. He even like came up with some kind of an intro for her for today, and then see, I was I was disappointed that I wouldn't be a part of the interview and then you guys are actually gonna have her in studio live. That was that was a big disappointment for myself. So here's what ended up happening. On Friday, Tara Reid went on the Jenny McCarthy Show on Series X Time Radio. I'm gonna play the audio for you of what happened. So what I'm about to play for you is the reason why she's not here today. Okay, after after what you're about to hear happened, they just canceled the rest of her radio tour. And then we'll discuss this real quickly between Gregg T and I and on our take on this. Yeah, not both freak because like a bit and then he left, so ball freak. If you're listening right now, you are a bit. You've been kind of pretty open about things going wrong, but it's hi, Tara, I'm here, Okay, good. I thought you were talking to somebody else. So you look great now, so you're good and downe not moving forward with plastic surgery. I think I made that clear like about a hundred times. I didn't hear that a hundred times. And you only read the bad things. But I've been made that really clear so many years. But so does it read what you want to read. But so you know, it was really nice talking to you, and I really good luck with your show, and good luck too, and I'm so excited about Sharknado, and I hope you stay married, and I hope you stay married too. I will and I hope your knees get a little while bleaer than they already are. Oh yeah, I hope you're getting nicer. Amazing, same gun. Right, Thank you guys, I love you, Tara. Good luck with Sharknado eighteen. Wow, that's like two Caddy girls fighting at a club like, Okay, I'm gonna be a bigger bitch now I'm gonna be a bigger bitchy escalated real quick. So the only thing that I could add to that is that a when you do something like this, either you are about to be fired or you're so secure your job that your company is not gonna get rid of you. And then for you, it's just it looks like extra advertisement that you got out of shaming somebody else. So you know what that's you got. You gotta figure out, you know, um, why why was it done like that? Did you do it? Because she needed to raise herself and now everybody's talking about her and now people want to go find the Jenny McCarthy show. That didn't even know the Jenny McCarthy show even existed, Right, Well, that's the thing Jenny McCarthy could be thinking right now, Well, you know what I'm getting all this Press today and made the post like the next day, She's like, this would be my chance. I'm gonna shot, I'm gonna Tara Re will be my sacrificial lamb and I could just crap all over her. Yeah, this is gonna be the one that gets me viral. Because so you gotta give Jenny McCarthy credit on that one. Yeah, because nobody even knows that Sheredie McCarthy even exists unless they see her on New Year's Eve with Ryan Seacrest. I mean that people have no idea where that put her on the map because we're talking about her. But but here's what happened now. Yeah, the one thing that everyone has to understand is that there are rules and regulations when you go into some of these interviews. So Tara's coming on your show, She's only gonna be talking about certain things. She's only gonna be talking about Sharknado and her and her Bollywood movie. Now listen, I I just wanted to interrupt for one second when you told me as well, You're like, hey, Tee, you gotta come up with your questions and I have submit them. I too, was a little bit hesitant, like why do I submit my questions and let her clear them. But that being said, I was fine with it because I still wanted to have iron and true to what you're about to say. Elvis has done a really good job in teaching us the proper way to interview somebody and be respectful to the celebrity that they are and that I know what you mean a little serious today. The truth of the matter is l is a master at interviewing people, and he has shown us that it's always better to take the high road, make people feel comfortable in your house as a guest, and respect their wishes. So sometimes guests come with, you know, a couple of caveats. Is that the right word of somebody gonna like play this back on the big show. Another time they come with a couple of you know, like rules. You know, we'll just pres in layman's terms, and that is under They're like, they're like underground rules, the rules that under understanding. We're taking you guys behind the scenes right now. So they say to us, do not talk about this, do not talk about that, Please be respectful and our show, the Elvis, the whole Elvis Duran presents. All of us from d to bottom, have been taught that that's how you do great interviews is you make the guests feel comfortable. So so to make her feel comfortable, all she wanted to talk about with Nato, and all she wanted to talk about was this, Uh what was her movie? Her Bodywood movie? And that's okay, And we were okay with On thefair Show, I said, I submitted my question to have a talk because her people wanted to see what I was gonna ask and what we were gonna ask, and we sent all stuff that was on message Joey. We were not going to talk about the things that she didn't want to talk about. Obviously. Plastic surgery is is a is a problem for her, and be honest, scary started scary, to be honest with you, I would never even go there. I couldn't care less about plastic surgery. Hey, I swear, and you know what, compliments to her because you know what her anyway, she looks fantastic. I would have been care that she got plastic surgery. I think everywhere everybody should get plastic So I think it's awful that a radio host would would ambush a guest like that. I think it's terrible, right, And and all I want to talk about with Sharknado. I love the whole series, right, so exactly, and I wanted I wanted to get in there too and talk about Sharknado. But unfortunately we never got to that point because after that interview with Jenny, Jenny ruined it for everybody because she canceled her whole media tour. Let me let me put myself in Tara reid shoes for a second. Can you blame I mean, didn't training McCarthy didn't She didn't McCarthy post naked or something. Isn't that like you're a real, real claim of fame or something. I'm not even sure. Yeah, I wonder what it would have been like if Tara started asking her about that. Let's talk stuff that you don't want to talk about, Jenny, right, yeah, right, I mean, yeah, it just sucks because now now we don't Now we don't have Tara, and Tara is supposed to be here today in this slot that you're listening to. She was supposed to you know, we had this all planned, you know, we had so much ready for her. But apparently that's not the case. We don't get the interview.
