Speaker 1: So we. I just don't understand why so we A guy that's the piano for twenty somebody years needs to come in and tune up every day, you please, electing up. Hold on a second. That is that is an electric keyboard, Gregory, whatever you want to that's electric keyboard. Keyboards don't get tuned, Pianos get tuned, guitars get tuned, anything that is. He's got to come in and go, hey, man, I gotta I gotta tune up, put me on. Well, he needs to kind of press warm up, warm right whatever, it's the wrong terminology warm up. We've expected nothing less and writing stupid songs like that warm up, writing up, Chris writing that's improv okay, improv your song about weird? No it's not, it's so weird. No, we're we're waiting for you when everyone can go anytime you're ready. We're just gonna sit here to wait for bald freak to be ready. This is what is so wed? You know? Okay, I have to You're done all these years? Thank you? Wow, that's great. You've used the rundown. You've wasted our time, the right date on it, You've wasted everybody. Just look it up. Okay, we've wasted enough time. Are you ready to start the show? Are you ready now? Started? Ready? We're waiting for you, man, Yeah, seriously, are you waiting for me? Yeah? I gotta go soon. No, you know, I'm gonna run the freaking chord. I'll run your chord. Elvis Durrand present to my cord. The off air show goes to the studio Scary Joe, Greg one oh two fair show and I'm Scary and Greg tea and sorry to give you guys the backstage here. But yeah, sometimes sometimes, you know, how do you even describe what happens and how this damn thing comes together? Every day? We kind of all drift in here. We're all loners who are three guys going in three different directions, and somehow we've you can all come together eventually every well, every other day or whenever, I don't know. It's getting more and more difficult, man, there's so much competition for studio time these days. My my, my thoughts are, if if you're not going to address and take this show seriously, you block things out, then it's never gonna get done and people are gonna think that you just walk all over it. You know, we need to we need to to stand up, right, we gotta stand up for our show and be like, guys, we've got to do the podcast. We've got to stand up, stand up, Give me some stand up. I was in a meeting yesterday where they said that podcasts weren't as important as X, Y and Z. So what do you think about that? Stand up? You want to stand up? Stand up? Stand up in that meeting, stand up for the podcast. You just stand up when you're on the bottom, stand up for the show, just like that, like that, like that. Yeah, by the way, I strongly disagree. I think we're all going in the same direction and then straight to do you really you don't feel that way? Way there? I think. So today, I think it's time to the off their heads. We need you to email in and tell everybody that you can how important the off fair show is to you. What does the off show of fair show mean to you? Because around here people think it doesn't mean as much. We need you to tell upper management how much. By the way, we as long as we treat it seriously, they're gonna treat it serious. Exactly. If you don't treat it seriously, they ain't gonna treat it seriously hashtag stand up? Who should they direct their who in the company? I don't know your names because I don't want feral army. I know our cabinet at least, will all email whoever we tell? Well, what about the senior VP of podcasting? Shouldn't he be right speak? I spoke to him. I spoke to him last night. Actually, yeah, CP in the Place to be C say hello to me and great three? He really did. He said they did big things in the works um, and he will divulge as soon as he's allowed. I don't want to hear that jargon. I want to hear specifics. What are these big things he's made. We're gonna be on iTunes, We're gonna be everywhere pretty soon. Yeah yeah, but there's an order of operations and we are not at the top, clearly. Okay. Other things they are bigger fish to fry in the company. What bigger fishes? He it comes to podcasting. I don't know what did I make the other night? Have you ever heard of um? I can't remember the name of the fish, so never mind, no, no, no, some weird fish that I got off Fresh Direct and was on sale I said, you know what, I've never a turbot. Turbot et. No I made a turbot. Someone scammed you, dude. No, No, it's pretty good. White fish. No. I looked it up on the internet after I bought it, and it actually is supposedly a very very cool thing. Doesn't sound very healthy. Are you looking it up, Turbo, because you know with the letter T at the end, I don't know how to pronounce. Yeah, yeah, So they find up the turbot instead of the off air show. Hold on upstairs or in the castle. I'm looking up right now, turbot fish said, I had nothing to talk about, Greg, You've got nothing to talk about. You talking about fish, freaking fish. I know talapia, I know, I know group. Don't even start about I know, Mahi mahi, snapper burgers. There's some great swordfish. There's so many great fish out there, all right. It says about turbot and how did you why did you choose that one? Because it was on sale? It is a a demo demer saltfish. Say what now? A demer saltfish native to the marine or brackish waters of North Atlantic, the Baltic Sea, and the Mediterranean sea. I'm like, oh, I see me some turbot. It's a flat fish, a flat fish, and that's very flat. I'm talking a picture of it. If it was flat, I didn't have much depth to it, just like, yeah, it was your meat, meat on this fish. I'm gonna put it. It was a meeting. My favorite is Chilean sea bass stuff good by the way, by the way, both freaky fish. I don't know if i'd buy fish on sale. That's one of the I don't buy sushi on sale. There are certain things. Yeah, you know, sometimes you go into the refrigerated section and they have manager's special sticker over the meat, you know, chop meat, ground meat. You see it's starting to turn. It's kind of like browning a little bit, and it's like maybe has another day left. Even poultry. I would even do that for chicken, man do special. But fish, you're gonna buy fish on sale? Well, freak? Give me a song about will you buy fish on sale? How about fish head? Can we can? We can we title that song bull for Q two? Right now? Will you buy fish on sale? Ready? Go go? Will you buy fish on sale? Go? Go? Come on? Fish? What the hens? A turbot? Fish, Yes, the fried fish head up sale, down to go steak go stay. You should thrown it into PI, frown it in the bag. I the eat call. I was gonna say, well, well you I've never had whale. I never read kale eating whale. Please a tweet us at if you've never had a whale false wor par false hold on you can play along with this. Help eat them up, young, sing it luff Shane and up morning laughing happy fish had beat even ending floating in the soup lp. Let me get the place high, all the heads. Let's look at him now fish head now times I'm lighting it up. It was all popular. Light it out? Where is that from? Sorry? That is that is from a group called Again, Turns and Barns, and it's called fish heads. It's from the Doctor Demento soundtrack. You know what Doctor Demento was, of course, once you tell the all fair heads. He was the guy who was responsible for weird A Yankovic's career. He used to write parody songs. He used to have a radio show. That's what radio was fun. Yeah back in you know, I don't remember that. It was long before our time. But no, apparently so listen. We're trying to make radio fun again, right, we're trying. Oh my god, that's slogan, make radio fun again. That's great. Great keeping it backwards. I liked like keeping it backwards, keeping it backwards. Yeah, But anyway, let's crack get up, Come on, are you ready? Come on? Start your enginee gentlemen, and we go. Let's start off the engine. Yeah, man, today show is on. Let's go go to the fight. But think what's going on with you? Man? You know we're supposed to start the Deadpool draft today, and well, I got my names, I'm ready to guy. I just want to put it out there that you know, you guys put me in charge of this, and I was, and I was under the presumption we were going to do it a certain way. And then great te executive producer of the off air show, comes and throws me a curveball and says he wants to fashion it as a draft, like a fantasy football draft. Right, yeah, great ta. I I posed a question to you, like if I just came up to you today and say, hey, yeah, we're doing a fantasy football draft right now. Are you're ready? Yes? What would you say? Football? Is my line? You're lady, you just be right ready to go. If I got deadpool, I'm dead. I'm ready. What about the organization, I'm right about doing it properly. I am ready. I can go around the room right now and start picking out names, so can. I'm ready to You gave me an assignment, and I was ready for you. My assignment was for you to give me a list and then everybody, and we don't want the same people on the same Here's the thing, you know, our list should be all be private because we don't want we want to surprise and the like that got friends and French and con By the way, we'll be here in just a little while, he stopped selling for a second. Alright, Rachel will be here. Come on, just well, first of all, what I felt, right, the three of us need to figure out who's gonna draft first. Right, let's just say hypothetically he's saying. He says he wants it to be private. That's not a draft. Live the order. We'll do an order, a snake order the way we do like one three, and that stuff will be decided whatever, and then we reveal our picks right there. You don't have to have a board there's no reason that somebody's gotta keep track of it. How are you gonna keep a piece of put it on a paper. That's why Gregg, he's part of the podcast. If I let's just say hypothetically, I was going first, let's just say, right, okay, first one of the shoot I'm going with Paul McCartney. There you go, that's what I would do. Okay, and then from there then you would go scary, go whatever. And then like he said, he goes a snake. So if you go last, you pick twice. Well that's what that is. If you if you're actually so, you're just picking from the whole random group of people. You are sad you could choose politics? Who could choose? You know? An artist? Who can choose? Anybody you would cut for your list? Okay, I'm ready to go. Okay, if you want to do it now, because I could. I could just come up with names off the top of my head. Well that's right, I haven't prepared a list, butus we can't do it now. Okay, so we're not doing can't do it now, but okay, that's your empty promise. The next podcast, the next podcast here off Fairheads. Well, I also wanted to see how if we could incorporate the listeners and you said no, you said you don't want to do that. Well, it's I don't because did we play for listeners? Can deal? Is almost impossible to play with the off fair heads. I want to do that now. Super Bowl boxes that's a different store, right, that's differently boxes. I absolutely positively we're gonna play with you all fair heads. Spears talking to sales about getting a second well, I want to give great Tea high compams. I'm from him. You know why, because I've a little fan fair I think he actually put together a plan to actually do the Super Bowl boxes. I didn't think it was gonna be possible. I was never against it. I was just against another empty promise number four on the list. But okay, but we will do it. So great you want to talk about the Super Bowl boxes monstrosity, I have seen you. I am going to make a gigantic board, hundred boxes, and we're gonna Facebook live as we do the boxes. So we will just choose them so you'll be able to hear your name. You incorporate Facebook Live, You're gonna see Facebook live. And I've already started to, you know, guarantee people on Twitter, on our affair show Twitter and on emails that they're already in if they've requested a spot. I'm already to do it. So let's first come, four served, and I'm already gonna put it. But the council's definitely in. That's sixteen boxes, done you me and scary, that's No. Three, It's nineteen boxes. And then from there on, I gotta fill out a hundred boxes. That's Cheryl from Sharon Knows. She wants to be a part of the box. Okay, box that panis Panasonic? Pete want one, Danielle, Danielle yelling, do actually give the money, but you've got you've got to definitely not let the listeners down, because now you're gonna let down seventy listeners. I will also, I also know, I will also take pictures that I will also take pictures of the box and then'll tweet it out as well, so they'll have their no, they're gonna have the box in front of them. They'll be able to follow all and see their numbers. Okay, it'll all be there. Dude, you failed them today, You failed them. Ball free. That's what I did. Right, that's right. I did more than your Blue Devils. That's what I did. I did more than your Duke Blue. What are you picking on my team? I don't pick on your team because the Blue Devils, because the Duke Duke needs to stand up. But still the team needs to stand up and take ownership. That's what you're going through some hard times, Duke Blue Devil fans, and your team needs to stand up going through some hard times. Yeah, hard times because Grayson Allen is the problem with that team. Did you see a lot of guys injuries really a big problem. But a lot of guys tweeted me and they agree. They agree. Didn't we hear this on episode one on one? Yeah, he keeps wanting to twist the knife, and it's like, yeah, I can't defend the guy's actions. I've been a fan way before Grayson Allen was was an amiba. Right, So what am I supposed to stop rooting for my team because there's one kind of douchey guy on the team? Right, tells Spade is Spade. When your team does bad, call him out him? But what do you call him out? What do you mean? Yeah? Don't I don't approve of I don't approve of his actions. I don't approve of his actions. Still free, but I'm still gonna from my team. You know what am I gonna do? I do weird Yankees fans? Did you love out running? Yes? No? No? No? Do you approve it? Guys? Actually one teams? Knicks fans, Cowboys fans fans. I got a question. He dueled any any any any water behind Carlo Carmelo Anthony going to the Cavaliers for freaking has turned it down, I heard, But I think that there's still something there. I think Lebron is having issues. He actually had a big problem with falling out with the ownership. There's too many cooks. You can't put mellow on that team with the King. We haven't even know we had Lebron James on the other day. He we didn't bring this up. Oh no, we didn't have him one shut up? Did Carmelo? By the Panasonic pizzas he's bringing? Uh? How much? That's the promised list? Did you hear about Carmelo Anthony's contract? He gets to decide where he gets traded and who he gets traded for. So that how about that? They can the Knicks can't just say, okay, we're trading YouTube. Um. You know he's got a no trade clothes that's called. But he could also decide who to get traded four okay, really like he can't go like like he can say, like if the Nick's go, hey, you want to treat to the Clippers for Blake Griffin, he can go, you know what, I want to go to the Clippers, but not for Blake Griffin because I want to play with Blake Griffin's right. Maybe like somebody in his position, Uncle Sary wants to move, you know, because it's sports talk man, do give me a sports talk to you? What do you think you're talking about? The sports talk? What you in New York? They live in Miami, a lot of places that's they're talking about on the phone. Cheryl, How you doing? I'm good? How are you doing? Excellent? Can you hear me? Okay, yes, I can hear you so real quick. Um, First of all, you're not here today. And the reason why you're not here is because Gregg T and I have to run in just a little while we are doing we're doing a web commercial for Sam's Club. Sam's Clubs are great friends of ours and we're actually gonna be filming a video like a commercial at the store today, and I'm sure they're just so excited to have us there. But because of that, we're gonna go share. They know how important the a Fair Show is, so they came to us. They're like, hey, can we get Secary Jones and Greg from the Fair Show and film a commercial? And hey, listen, it may not be as big as Verizon Wireless. We're talking that here, so you know what, I do appreciate it because I do make this this trip in do you come to see You do take an hour and a half to come down here for no pay and come in here and see us once a week. But because you and that's also because you're probably making a lot of money from Verizon Wireless in the TV commercial, we might have to we don't have to dig into that and see. But but truth is, yeah, because we have to run, it's gonna be a shortened podcast and we didn't want to waste your time here today. But why don't you tell everybody what Greg Tea is referring to about this Verizon wild exciting Wait, hold on, before we go into that, I just want to say something about the boxes that you're doing. So some of our their heads reach out to me on Instagram when they don't have Twitter, and one of them in particular decided that he was going to put together that awesome picture for our episode one hundred, which I got to give him a shout out for that. It was Jay Rod, and he wanted to be part of the boxes. So as they don't reach out to you on Twitter, and they reach out to make maybe part of it if they're not on Twitter. Yeah, just all I need is names. I need a hundred names, can feel I mean, if I don't have an hundred names, I'll double people up like I found, like you know, the off air show counsel, Like I can give them like two or three boxes because their royalty yet and then from there on end we can just fill out the boxes and you throw us. Well, not just now because Greg teas in the middle of running a mic cord down the hall for balls, but if you could get to a list, Okay, tell us about this Verizon Wireless. Here's what's going on. So Cheryl, I'm let me just set this up. You know, she she's an actress and in her spare time, in her in a model as well. So you go on these big shoots for things, right, I do primarily in my career, and then I love the idea of coming in and doing this with you guys. So that's something else that I've made a big priority. But first and foremost, I'm always on sets that I'm always trying to do the next best thing. So I got an offer to do a Verizon Wireless national commercial and we ended up shooting it actually in New York which is why I didn't have to leave town. Um We ended up shooting in Manhattan about two weeks ago, and surprisingly enough, the turnaround time was literally less than seven days, and they had it airing starting for football. So Verizon as a big piece of our football season and especially the playoffs, so it aired during the playoffs. That I was so excited. This is cool. So so here's what's going on. She's in this commercial that she turned around in seven days. Uh, and she's on on TV. So if you're watching football, you're watching the playoffs. It had like a few times that night. It's the Verizon commercial where a guy has his phone and he's walking through different scenes of New York City and and um share is in the spin class scene, right, So I'm a spin instructor. Yeah, everything in my face. I love it. I have to tell you played really funny into our episode that we had before this, because we were talking about exercise and how important it was and going to a gym, and some of the actors that were in my spin class was just not familiar at all with going to a gym or getting on a spin bike. So there were so many things that we had to reshoot because of that one scene. It was hysterical, but I did get the job as the spin instructor and I actually got um the more work off of that as the voiceover. So I think they're gonna be cutting a couple of commercials out of it, and they're gonna be playing it all through the games coming up, So it's gonna be it's gonna be on again in the super Bowl pretty much, it will be on through all of it. Commercial with the guy, and then very quickly it cuts to a spin class and Share is on the left hand side as the spin class instructor, and I'll see her like spinning a million miles an hour with with the class to the right of her right. So basically I'm in the front of the class teaching the class. Congratulations, that's pretty es. Yeah, great commercial. I'm really excited about it. I'm so glad it went NATIONALE like this too, that's all so glad it when National to grets Red Tess puts it on pause and this leers at your butt. He's like he just salivates and licks the screen. You got, you got, you got a nice shape, so real quick, because we have to roll. We want to set up some topic for next week. If you'd like to tweet hashtag share nose with your topic, let's let's get let's get some advice from her. I mean, we have her as a font of knowledge, right, um. You could reach her at Cheryl casenza Um on Instagram and Twitter and Facebook and hashtag share nose. Put a topic out there. We want that we call all off their heads, off their army and our cabinet and everyone to do that, and then next week we'll come up with something, maybe on Tuesday and just see you guys. Know a couple of questions that have started coming in. I've been at about the upcoming season of Valentine's Day. So we have the holiday coming up and a couple of questions that started coming about that. So I think there's a few things that we could do before Valentine's Day. So if we get some more questions than we could do Valentine's Day closer to the either. I love that Share. Hey, Elvis de Ran just walked in the studio. Hi, Elvis. I just came in to say I'm leaving by Hi, Elvis. You don't have a message for us, Yes, I have a message. This is the worst podcast ever, Elvis. Thank you. Oh my goodness. We were we were Christians. You know. Actually, I think I think Elvis is we have our dips from um Friendship coming up. I don't think it's going Elvis wants to go. I guarantee he's going to be in here. He's gonna be here to eat it and die. By the way, they are awesome. Yeah, they really are. Friendship dairies is here, Rachel. If you keep on eating friendship cottage cheese, you may one day have a body just like Share nos traight, and then you could be in I gotta tell you, whatever class you're teaching, Share, I'm going you're gonna come to my class. If you're going to continue to wear yoga pants like that. I am yeah, alright, that's my favorite outfit. It's my favorite too. Thanks for checking in for now. We're gonna get some music real quick and uh the aufair heads will will definitely hook you up and get some questions and stuff. See you Tuesday. All right, music now, Greg T. What I'm thinking, Cypress Hill insane in the brain. I love the shop. This takes me way back. I might have to start singing along with it. It kind of describes what's going on tonight. This place is crazy. Remember just touch that aim in the frying pant like spa the top blinking on the plan. Just toss that him and the pant. When I come and slam, damn, I feel like, don't like me, Like, let's get the check to one like the lights up. I'm thinking it's all love about when I go out freaking oh like in my mind slow, that's what I don't what bro I got to maintain like me, it's got what I'm saying. That's saying Brand and sim friend and membrand and say friend. Look that song Cypress Hill on the Affair shows Gary, Greg T and the ball freak is in the other room. Is he even gonna say another word, ball Freak, say something, man, Man, God, you know what I'm telling you again. You know I think he's I think he's losing it. The fans are you know, they love ball Freak. I get it. I'll be big fan. I get it. They're gonna turn on them. You know what. They don't understand what we were we are dealing with here. It's difficult working with the ball. Maybe when he went right to his head. Friendship Dairy's Cottage Cheese our sponsor. We love you guys. You guys are surprising and delighting us. You did the better buffalo chicken dip. You're giving us great recipes to use with cottage cheese. You got it. So I think it's time to surprise and delight somebody with today's recipe. What do we have to today's recipe is a lemonicious hummus Thomas, I can finally say there's some hommas amongus. I've been waiting for ever to say that. You're welcome. Thank you. Now, how how is this made with Friendship Cottage Cheese. So you take the cottage cheese, you blend it in a food processor at a little bit of garlic um some parsley, a little bit of salt pepper blended up. Then you top it with some sundry tomatoes and a little extra parsley. Little E v O D. This is the way you're saying, explain it. It sounds so simple, But like, can a bunch of like can a bunch of youngs like ourselves? Can we really make this a home? You can literally throw all the ingredients in a food processor hit go, go to the bathroom, come back, Your DIP's done. I can't believe that this that this is made with cottage cheese. I can't. It looks like something totally different, and it tastes even better that better Buffalo chicken dipp was so good last week and we have to thank Key Food for bringing So now we got together, we came up with an idea. Scary, tell him what the idea ahead, Elvis, his best assistant, Andrew. Yes, he hates cottage cheese. He'll gag, he'll vomit. The funny thing is we're not offending or friends because they actually, you guys actually said if there's somebody in the office that is not a fan of cottage cheese, this is the perfect thing. How fool him. The idea is to just open his mind. He thinks he doesn't like cottage cheese because he hasn't had this friendship. And I have to be honest. The same thing for me. Last week I was that guy you said, have you ever do you like it? And I said, I gotta be honest, I'm not a big fan. And then after eating yes, what was the last week's again with the buffalo? It was just the past Tuesday? It was better buffalo chicken sooth so and now we just tried the hummus and the hummus is delicious. So I'm shocked myself. So if this can be we can continue to shock somebody every week, this will be great. So and he loves Thomas, okay, so bring him in all right. Scotty B's got him. Hey, Scottie B. Where is the different one of our one of our engineers morning show, Scotty B. And he's hanging out just to plan this little Andrew. Hey, Andrew, Andrew, how you doing. We'll put your microphone on real quick. What's Andrew? Everybody, ladies and gentlemen. Elvis Durand's personal assistant prefer the term executive executive. Andrew is with us. So here's the thing, Andrew. First of all, I just first all, thanks for coming by the office show like your second appearance. Right. Um, So you know we're getting ready for the big game of course next week, and we have all these creative recipes and all these dips and things, you know, ideas for game starters. Yeah, so because you gave us hatch them holes. Yes, you do. You know how much that you love hummus and you like to eat healthy love. Friend Rachel is here. She made She made that we were asking we were asking people to come up that have their own recipes for Super Bowl Sunday, and Rachel is a regular, average every day woman that wants it makes on the first Super Bowl Sunday. So she came in and she brought us her recipe for hummus. So would you could you you want to try this? This kind of hummas? Is it? It's hummus, a little bit of garlic. Then there's top with parsley sundried tomatoes and just blended really nice with some tahini. Andrew, would I give you something bad to? I never know? Come on, Andrew, coming and we know that you're your your critic and here's the thing though, for real, this is legit. Okay, you gotta be honest. I will be offended. Yeah, she will not be writing on this hummus like I feel like there's something spe a little more. You have to be you have to be honest. It's good. Okay, you got to be. What do you think if you don't like it? Or what? Are you gotta be honest? There's like a like a limey tang to it's real good. No, for real, it's really really not offended, not just because Rachel Peter. Yeah, I'm not haveing more. What do you think about it? Are you really gonna have more? You get described it? Describe it. It tastes like humas. There's no other way to put it. Okay, okay, it's hummics. It's like you make this out? Would you make this at home? Yeah? Exactly? What have I told you? It was? It was a healthier hummus for you and okay higher and I'm not trying it until you're trying again. Yeah, okay, what do you think? And you like it? You like it? For real? Well should we tell him? Greg? T okaych was by the way, this was your friend Scotty Bee's idea. Yes, and Scotty, why don't you reveal to him cheese? How is this cottage? How is sprite French darius? Cottage cheese? How? That's what we said on Tuesday? So she came here on Tuesday and she brought better buffalo chicken. Save. Yeah, we had the buffalo chicken out right? Y are you still some left? Okay? Cheese cheese, friendship's dairies, cottage ship dairies. This is Rachel here, and she is your friendship. This is what we call a surprise and delight so surprise and you're delighted, delighted. This is great. What do you think, Rachel? Why don't you explain a little bit of background? So good? Usually you put tahini and hummus, But tahini isn't as good for you as something like cottage cheese, which is high and protein low and fat low and sugar low and carp and it does the same thing that tahini would do. So you blend it with cottage, with chickpeas, garlic, and then just top it olive oil. That's it. I would have had no idea. What ye oh my god, rt this is friendship Rachel is a welcome to him. Yes, they're second sponsor for the Aufair Show podcast. She's surprisingly delighting. Every single recipe is made with Friendship. Dair is so good.
