Speaker 1: Elvis Durand presents off air show This story Jones, Greg Tea, look down, it's ye air show inching ever so closer to episode one where we're supposedly allegedly going from works to first and uh, I didn't see us making very little progress. And you know what, and and today is one of those days where if you want to want to know, like, you know, we would not have a show today because there's so much going on with the Elvis Duran Show that we honestly don't have time to even do a show today. But what we're gonna try to. We have a blank You have a blank sheet here, yeah, because I mean, look, this is so unlike you usually you you fill in that outline, you give us seven pages of stuff. You're right, You're right, I look, du Bullfry's not even here. We're running around right now. Bullford will be here like about a minute or two. But I mean, this is, this is, this is exactly what's happening. We are spread so thin today for some range reason. Everybody's out there doing stuff that we just don't have the time. And and and a lot of people were like, just don't do a podcast today, but we just didn't want to hear from the All Fairheads that we didn't do one. So the All Fairheads we they deserve a podcast. It's bad enough we don't give him a Friday show. You're right, so we have to give him one today. You're right. And listen, you can say that we're mailing it in today, and you know what, that's fine. I'll even take some grief and maybe we mailed it in. That's okay. We could, we could free form sometimes it's better without a script here. It actually feels weird without ball free here. I wish you would get in here. I know he's in another studio, he's he's he's producing his last commercial. And what another what the All Fairheads sometimes don't understand as well, is that is that all three of us we really do have like real job. We've said that before, the real jobs here, and we're trying to get things done behind the scenes, so we can still come in and do the podcast. You can already have email us at the All fair Show at gmail dot com. We wish we had a lot more time. We didn't, Yeah, we do. And then we also you can get us on Twitter and Instagram at the off air show and on Facebook just search the just search All Fair Show. Nice gotta thank baby Jake for taking care of that. And Maya Maya the Wild Australian by the way, who, by the way, you should follow on snapchat Greg Tea. She lives in Brooklyn. It's like a It's like a freaking animal house. They were always partying. Man I I was. I was like, oh my god, I don't live half the life this woman lives. She's still a podcast. She should She's crazy. She's got half her head shaved and she's got a nose ring. Anyway, she did the edits. She filmed this and we want to thank her for it. It's Sammy Sweetheart in studio with us from last week. You could see us. People are always asking why don't we see you guys? Sometimes, well you This is a video that you could watch. It's about eleven minutes and it's a condensed version of an interview with Sammy Sweetheart. She was She really was sweet and by the way she reached odow me on Twitter yesterday, very nice. He wants us up on her show. We would look, I think we should. Why not, let's the three of us, let's pick a day and let's go do the podcast with her. We're gonna do her podcast. I think that'd be great. That'll be awesome. All right, So we talking about mack Weldon, don't we? We do? We do? We have social media feedback coming up in a little while, but first you bring up a great point, Greg T. Mac Weldon. I'm wearing mine again today and give me some Hey bald Freed, give me some mac Weldon underwear music. I want to make sure that all of our off air heads are going to mac weldon dot com. I've been seeing you. I saw you omar, I saw you tweeting, I saw that people. I saw Hubby, Hubby's got hers. People are buying mack Weldon underwear for their significant others for the holidays, and I gotta say it is time for you to do the same for yourself, or be selfish and just buy it for yourself. You don't even need to buy it for your significant other for no reason at all just to replace the old decrepit underwear in your drawers right now. I made a pun. There's a double pun like underwearking underwear in your drawers. Don't stop. I love when the shilling goes. Keep it going. So go to mac weldon dot com. M A c k W E L d O N dot com. We all have ours. Grant you wearing your mac weldon is today or you wear it sounds like you're wearing sandpaper kind of manitude. Seriously, it's I'm telling you it's off and check out on your first purchase. If you type in off air, they got that silver line. They do more than just underwhere they do socks, shirts, undershirts, hoodies. I love this music. That's m A c k W E L d O and dot com. Use off air at checkout of your first order, and happy holidays, Happy holidays. What is going on with you? We gotta do some social media feedback right after some blink way eighty two. We're just getting started here on the air shower right now, close soon too, sure your smile the summer smile, summer smile, showy smile face in the summer smaller and indeed mine, Oh that sounds so good even all these years later, doesn't it. We got through the whole song. We did somehow. It's Blink Wendy too for you? What was that song? Like a minute and a half. We have some social media feedback coming up. I think we should do that right now, so read back scaries busting. Yeah, is that the extended dance remix? This one comes from Katie Morrow. Katie Morrow wrote to us, Hey, guys, I love the show and I want to let you know. I was listening to yesterday's podcast. Oh She's all caught up and I like pretty much all the music that Bald Frank talks about. I have a word, I have eclectic, weird taste in music. To keep up the good work on the show, I listened to every single one of them. Thank you, Katie, Wow, thank you Katie. One for me ding ding dank for you than for you. You guys made like made up seven of the text messages yesterday, so shut up. Also, Sean Sawyers wrote to us and said, hey, guys, Yeah, I have an idea for the show. Have you thought of Facebook Live for the show to give the listeners a behind the scenes look at the fair show. I don't know if we want to do Facebook live on this. We are so prolific on Facebook, though, I said, it just seems natural that we would kind of just evolve into the Facebook Live. Yeah. Well, well I created a page while ago and just kind of sits there. Ye, kind of like got cobwebs on it. Yeah yeah, Um, all right? What about you, Greg? Till you got any social media feedback from our listeners on Twitter? What do you see in there? You can always tweet us at the off air show? Yeah? Sure, it's from Bianca Riviera, and she writes in uh, episode eighty one was definitely the best one yet. You guys are very entertaining. It made my day. I can't believe I'm saying it, but I love you guys. Coming off the heels of bald freak. Rannie's ditching us the other night for a chick at Marina Lani Live. She wrote, I'd be pissed if one of my girlfriends ditched me to get some from a guy. PS. My nickname is Laney. Hashtag chicks before disguided. Here's one from Obama. She says, I know him a day late to vote on this, but I still want to let you guys all know that I actually I don't like when you play too much music. I like less music. That's one for Scary. I listen to you guys all the time, and I love chatting with you on Twitter. Thanks so much for making us laugh every Monday through Thursday. I wish I had you on Friday's as well. Okay, also at w Gallub. Sorry Maestro, but bald Freak has a better taste in music than you do. Kid. Wait for the show today hashtag Japo Jackalo, thank you there Will. Did you read the one from Matt Grove? I did not. I'm an off airhead. I love the show. You guys do a great job with making us, making the audience feel like we're the experiencing the real sides of your group. In my opinion on the music debacle is that a song of the day is a good thing. I like it. Keep it short, like a minute or a minute and a half at most. About that? How about this one from Henry Davidson Watch out at Bald Freak or the Maestro Scary Jones may remove his pants on off air show like the Maestro did on Seinfeld? Was that an episode? Of course? Which one was that I don't think I think I missed him play the theme song kind of the same basis. All right, great, So we have a new feature today. Give me some of your deepest halls of America. Voice from the history of the Annals of American History. I'm standing in the Lincoln Memorial in the Annals, and it happened the annals of here we did happened to day history. Well in history, scary? You want to know about this? One? Got what he got? I got one for you today. In two thousand and four, longtime Jeopardy champion Ken Jennings of Salt Lake City, Utah, he finally lost and he left. He left Jeopardy with two point five million dollars. It is television's all time biggest game show hall. How about that happens? So wait a second, So Ken Jennings, the guy who want all that all that money, that's right, happened today? He today was that he lost. Who did he lose to? Do we know that? You know one good question. I don't know who he lost to. I just know that he won two point five million dollars on Jeopardy, and I wonder what he what he's doing with all the money. And how much he still has? How much you think Ken Jennings still has? You think we could get Ken Jennings on the podcast? You know what, what else is he doing? For real? What is Ken right now? He's counting his money? That'd be great. How do we find out how how can we get Ken Jennings on the podcast? We can call? Does he have a publicist? He's gotta have somebody, right, I mean, can we get directly to him or is there a person before the person? You know what, I'll try to tweet Adam and see if Sony responds. Right? Score and seven years ago, Hey, this day in actress Natalie Wood drowned. Now, hold on a second. She was in Rebel without a Cause and west Side story. Of course she was in a voting quote accident. Well, the conspiracy is that she was, Well that's where I was getting to. Yeah, she was. It was a Catalina island, forty three years old. And as it turned out, she was on a boat with a couple of people, and they thought somebody like took her out on the boat. Right. She was married to Robert Wagner and they think that he might have been the guy. Right, Alex, I'll take suspiciously murdered actresses for eight hundred, Who is Natalie? Would do you think if we had social media back then, do you think that, uh, the person would have gotten away with the murder, but it would be caught. It's not necessarily a murder. It's an unsolved mystery. But what happened to her? Supposedly she either fell off the boat or she was meant to fell off the boat. Fall off the boat by Robert Wagner. That's exactly who was? Oh you know, speaking of Robert, I love that song. Remember he had that hit single that Oh my god, what was that song? Robert Wagner? Yeah, that hit song? He was on General Hospital, remember and he had that song? No, that was Jack Wagner. Are you kidding? Met All? Not so, Robert Wagner did not playing General Hospital. There's a guy named Jack Wagner, Jack Wagon. Hold on, let me look at this thing. They were related. Let me look this up. Do you have a song by Jack Wagner that so we have no Jack Wagner? And hey, bol Fred was the hit single by Jack Wagner. All the girls loved it from nineteen eighty four. Come on, man, what the hell are we talking about well the girls. I'm a dude. Hold on, oh I got here, I got out here. We I'm gonna play with for my phone. Hold on here it I'm gonna play with my phone. This is the song. And I thought was Robert Robert Wagner, but it's Jack Wagner. I understand. Hold on, I feel bad now we only have here it is. This is the song. He's doing it. Live the hell, hold on, it's coming, It's coming here. It is I version of a song that nobody knew. No, they knew. It sounds like a treat them at the old Aime. Oh yeah song what a speed wagon? Holds so short? Just wear a stand. It's not Richard Marks, Drew love this seals and croft me. It's Jack Wagner. I thought it was Robert Wagner, who killed what's her name? He's killing this podcast. Wait, here's the course. Oh I know the song? Yeah, yeah, what I need? This is the guy that killed Natalie. Wouldn't know that's Rob Robert. Oh my god, he's an American treasure bastards. That's Robert. Song is so old. And I'm just saying I don't think I thought I think off their heads even know that song, well they should. I didn't even know it either. I remember my mom used to play that stupid song. My mo mom had a record on a record plun radio in the picture, a warped, crackling record, right, record player, and she played records and he played that song my used to play. I used to mother used to play Leo Sayer. What's Leo called? You make me feel like my feed like dancing danced away? This is like we ult seventy song, a couple of hits. This because he did. I'm gonna play the other one next pictures. We're in the cheventies time war. They're gonna go. Everyone thought this is a woman when this show first came out on radio back in the day, with people thought it was a woman saying this is a guy, when in fact he was a boodle haired roller skating, bell bottom wearing disco diva. He looks like Richard Simmonds and the craziest American hero if they had like a kid. We're hitting all the hot buns with our audience today. I'm sure our audience is loving this podcast. Dance a fat Man, he had some blue about It's some big ballad, right, it's a couple of songs. This is other. This is the bigger hit. It's so funny the music that our parents played, and then we remember this from our childhood. Can you imagine that if this was new to god? This is awful? This is like what do they call this? Like seventies AM radio soft rock? You've got the light on. I feel like a light. I remember this through my mom's play me. Yeah, this is who says this one? Leo, Leo Sayer. This is awesome Leo Sayer. Yes, this is a big hip back Mom. I could picture the vinyl right now. It was a blue He was like touching. It looked like he was like doing like downward Dog on the album and he was grabbing his sneakers and he was floating in mid air and it was just the whole album was like a blue sky with white clouds. His big ass afro. You know what, dude, I think my mom listened to this musical and she was happy before my father started hitting the bottle and became a fucking drunk and then and then became became an animal in the house. We had a divorces ask and throw him the funk out. Maybe that's why he got drunk because this was what if you ever see my father somewhere if you know, I'm just giving the finger, dumb off, but seriously know so maybe little any times Leo Sayer Harber some bad memories half the time. My mother loved jack Wagon, loved really bad crappy music. Was there like criss Cross, that's a Rino's favorite favorite artist. Air Supply any air support, Oh my god, she loved air supply. Mom loved air supply, loved it. Air Supply here like a Mother's Day podcast. Why are we doing this all out of love? Yeah? This is it. I used to come in with my skateboard and I'd be like, mom, let we need some cookies and milk's sitting in a rocking chair. And she would just because she's like like Greg and then I'd like, my actually, come dance with me. And then I would dance with her in this room to this song. She would hold me, I would stand on her feet and we would dance. We did. I swear this is what my mom and I would do. And it would's bad because my mom was really like saying like I love you, sorry that you have such a fun up dad. Terms she would try to hold me, you know, so nice way. We didn't even get to the hook yet, these songs you so long before you got to the hook, Walfred, what did your mom listen to? Prince and Rod Stewart? Really? But she also loved my dad's music to Billy Joel and the Beatles and the Stones. My mom is a hippie. Here comes to hook. This is it? I remember right now she was this thing to me without you think she would understand now what she was saying, because because because because John was such a mess, he was a terrible fo related to her and hit her emotional heart streak, Like she's like, what kind of a mistake did I make you? Because when you're married after a while and then you realize that the person even stipping next to for all these years, Bess, you're like dead him the hell out of this house. And then then they also had to hit every woman in the world. To me, there's so many heads. Here it comes, and I would say, Mom, come on, put me down, stop it, Mom stopping. It's a great tea time life collection of seventies ballots. There it comes. So your mom is listening Scar, yeah, this song because you're every woman in the world. They've got, mom, they must be the same age. They have to be. Yeah, how about making love that and nothing at all? Oh, that's a good one. Nothing at My uncle would listen to Billy Jowls. So my uncle must be the same age as your parents, Balfrey. My parents are in their early to mid sixties. Yes, that's my uncle. So my mom's a tad bit older. So she's told at the same age as not scaries mom. Yeah, parents were the young hippies. What did we do on this podcast today? I just do not understand we did happen? We did this day in history? What did happened? Uh? And then then that's triggered your This is what the state history has has run to. Shepherd started with the Natalie Wood story, the same history, and then we started relating it to seventies music. What about Jeopardy? I thought we could play the Jeopardy You thought Robert Wagner was Jack Wagner. That's true Jeopardy. We were playing one big game of word association today. Do you know the song I lost on Jeopardy by weird Al That was a great song? That was Greg? That was not great Greg Kinny that wasn't weird. Al The original song is called Jeopardy, and it was It's not I lost on Jeopardy. It was no, it's our loves in Jeopardy. Jeopardy. Son, here you go weird dancing to this weird at weird at Pardy this song. I'm not even gonna go through it because it just takes twenty minutes to get to the course. Alright, so listen, we basically did nothing on this podcast today. It's okay. Sometimes you have those days sometimes when we're on the Elvis de Ran Show, we do nothing right. We just hang around and but I really feel like we mailed it in today. Maybe tomorrow we gonna come back strong with a good podcast. You are the post You are the postmaster. What Share doing. Share is calling us tomorrow from Los Angeles with some ideas about holiday get giving. Well, he's gonna fart. You missed it. It was like I was there, but you missed it. We'll see tomorrow.
