Speaker 1: Listen. We also want to have a update. Um ay, are we planning the show on this alternative an alternative report? How do you want to call We never do that. No, what do you want to call the music report? Not? Not a music report? What music report? What about about the bands that we want a book? I want to talk about that, the bands? We want to tell you about that yesterday? No, we did not. We just touched on show. What do you want to that is not independent minded? Is now we're talking about? And it's for independent people on the streets playing in subways. So you think that Ronnie Ronnie takes homeless people off the street, right, and he puts them in a studio and he makes them make music. He's again, nobody knows who she has, Janet Devin He's not even getting played on alternative nations, no doubt, no doubt, no respect for independent minded people music. What is it called? What do you he just lumps them as subway people. That's right. Let's see if let's see if Janet Devlin for comedy, you have a comedy? How many followers you have to Twitter? Yeah? Greg Te certainly doesn't have that. Wow, I have one? Not bad for someone who just plays for bad for a subway bump begging for cash on the subway. Because what do you know about comedy? Any any comedians the comedy? What do you know about comedy? I'll tell you what I know about comedy, walks into a boss. You're not You're not about to hear any of the next forty minutes Elvis derand Presents Off air show is Steerie Jones has the thing Greg te Episode one, the man with a hundred and thirty one thousand followers on Twitter, Greg Tate the frat boy No One Yeah, which is half the amount of Janet Devil. I don't even know where we're going with this. Janet Devlin. Janet Devlon, she was a contestant on one of those show, was one of the voice shows, right but and she was on your Independent Minded podcast, and of course that that podcast. There's the one that Greg t says that you pull singers from the subway. Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. In case you're listening right now, this is the office show. This is not Independent Mind, right episode Jones take it away and I am Scary Jones, And that is Greg Tip. And he did steal that from Andrew dice Clay did not the contrary to his own belief, but popular belief says he did steal it from Andrew dice Clay. And we're gonna have proof of this Sunday. We're gonna get andrewdiced Clay on the show. Oh you know what, I'll add that to the list. Hold on here. And then Drew put that under empty promises right after Scary puts his fist through sheet rock. Andrew dice Clay, can we talk about that real question? Sheet rock coming up? Okay? Remember on a previous podcast and when we last heard Greg to I said I never punched the wall before, and you said, I'll bring up a piece of sheet Rocket said tomorrow. That's correct. That was about five yesterdays ago. Right, that's correct. What happened. I haven't had a chance to bring it up here. You're right, I gotta get it up. I want to put my fist through it. I got you. You You can always get in touch with us at The Fair Show at gmail dot com and um The Affair Show on Instagram and Twitter. Super active on on the Instagram, we are yeah, I know, Facebook, thank you, Yoda super super active on the Instagram we are. We have a lot to get through today. Today we're gonna give you a Bachelor report or another we're gonna give you a Nascar report. Wake me up when both of those are over, wake me up before you go go. We're gonna talk to Tim Barth, our Nascar correspondent. There's some big news going on in Nascar. Oh you made that happen? Oh my god. The NFL report we have. We have a lifestyle report with baldfree Grant. You want to find out again how his apartment is going in the heat situation. We also have a music report coming up. Wa wa, wake Grannie up before the before the report, and we're gonna dive into a comedy report as well, wowing something we know nothing about. That's right. So and again lex Heury always says, if you have something to talk to us about, you can always drop tweet, show or an email. Can we start with first of all, are we gonna have a NASCAR report? Where's our guy Tim Barr? Yes? So here's what we deals. So we have Tim Barr? Is he here? Can we call? He is on the phone on hold waiting to go and oh my god, Tim barrs, what how you doing, Yo, Timmy, Finally we get to hear from you, Tim Barry. We we made you the a NASCAR correspondent of the Affair Show podcast. Yeah and premature to me, but we never even uh we never got a report front. But why don't we find out a little bit about Tim Barr's comaginations? Yeah? First of all, what qualifies you for this position? I grew up around auto racing pretty much my whole life. Yeah, where's that? What's that town? Uh? Indiana? From Indiana. Grew up around a lot of open meal sprint car racing and stuff. Don't they have to Indianapolis five hundred over there? Yes, they do, they do they but that has nothing to do with NASCAR because those are the cars within loader of the ground and the bigger wheels, right, yep, I don't know that. Yeah, Danna Ka Patrick does better on those, and she does on NASCAR. Know a lot better, La better see. I know. I know a thing or two about a thing or two, And Tim, do you race as well? I actually, when I was sixteen, I was a crew chief on a sprint car and right now I don't do any racing. I raised radio controlled cars kind of my professional so Jim, what do you tell people who have no interest in NASCAR and all we think is that it's just a bunch of people sitting in a car turning left for three hours. Yeah, well they put their bodies through a lot more strained than what probably the athletes. Really can you explain? Could your elaborate on that? I mean, think about hitting the walls on a hundred and eight every other week, so you have to build your core strength in order for that. Oh yeah, I mean definitely they don't. They just don't show up to the track and race. I mean they work out every day. They they do. They work out to sit in the car for two hours. Yep, well everybody else, but everybody else like doesn't changes the flats and like fixes everything for them when they see, oh those guys work out to those pick guys just don't show up to the track and do that. They work out every day too. Well that's what I was understanding that I thought this were the unsung heroes of the track with the guys who the pit people and they're they're going crazy and you know that they're flipping it and the driver just sits there and drives and collects all the glory. No, no, no, they all they all work together at the big team, even though they're not at the track. There the training and stuff together. They lift up. Do they even lift? Oh they can. Hell, I've been trying to tell these guys for a while that there's a lot more. There's a lot of planning and how they have these drivers do it and how they start in one position and when they want to pass, and how they want to draft and who they want to race with and all those kind of things. So you've now proved the case that there's a lot more into NASCAR than what we all think. There's a ton into Okay, so you're officially I don't know if you'd want to be behind drafting behind Danna cut Patrick for too long because that might give you a little bit of trouble and a little bit of an accident. That's a little bit, all right. So you're our official rack Shan report guy. Yeah, we say rack Shan because that's backwards for Nascaran. So what's going on on Dale Jr. Well, the big news today is that Dale Jr. Announced that this is going to be his last year. And I mean that's probably not a surprise to many people because of his injuries from last year and customs and stuff, because I sight so do you think that is I listen, we know what happened with his dad. Unfortunately he perished while on the track. We saw that live. Do you think that any this has something to do with it the danger of the sport? Like I know he's been he's been going for the last couple of years. I don't think had enough. You know, I don't know if that is something to do with it. Um. I mean they made the cars and everything so much safer now than what they were back I think it was two thousand and one. I mean they have safety barriers and everything now, so I mean the hips have came down a lot. But I know that he got married at the beginning of the year and he's probably looking at the bigger picture of starting a family and stuff like that. But also also could we go out on a limb and think that maybe, just maybe that last week's crash had something to do with it. What do you think that's that? Yeah, that's that's Bristol Man. You're going like nine, That ain't nothing. Wait till they get the talent Daytona him crash and up light one up? Is that what they call it up? Okay? Crash stopping, flipping, rub it down? Yeah? I like that. So Tim, who do you like in this weekend's race? Uh? I'm a huge Kyle Larson fan. Why is everybody up on Carl Larson? How come? Ah? The kids? Just the wheels up? He grew up in open wheel rap things right in the top side. Hasn't seen that prop so he wasn't scared to let it I call it. Let it all hang out, go for it. Yeah, well, freaky taking out on this? Uh, no question the last ten minutes of Ben are you telling a lullaby? The fact you guys know about Tayford Spacer's Come on, Tim, got you know I just replaced the restrictor plane in my quarter panel, and yeah, ary stricter plates in your quarter panel. You've got some problems anyway, You got lots of problems he's got. You know, bull freak does have sleeping problems. So if you ever wonder about put him to sleep, you can come over his house and tell him a little bittime story called Yeah, I'm a big fan of the dirty Air. Okay, you know what I'm saying? All right? Well, thank you so much. Tim Barthur checking out on the Fair Show? What are you? What are you looking trash about us? Tim was talking trash about us. He was he was, he was completed. He was going nuts that we weren't that that we made him the NASCAR guru or the racks and Guru of the All Fair Show. And and and then he was bitching about us behind our backs in the Fair said, who's motherfucker's hold on? This changes some things now Tim holding talking trash. We get the reports. He's silent. No, Actually, what's doing you guys? When you guys first said that I was going to be on that Thursday, I was traveling to Tennessee and was getting married getting married. I got married, I got married, and so I was I was waiting for like something, and it was Yeah, it was just another wasn't it. That's what I was like? Man, more empty promises. Man, I had everything onflined up and then nothing. He has a reputation because he does. Wow there you go, all right, well though, man, no hard feelings. Bro, all right, you got it. Bro. I like him, I'm I liked him. Bars. I like you hold. I want you to hold the garage against him. No, why because you're a real kid. Because I'm a good guy. Man. I I hooked him up today. He's a duke yug, Come on now do him? Are you excited that you were on and you did the NASCAR Report? Actually very excited that. I was like, holy crap, I gotta go guys, And they're like what that's like, No, you don't want to take up all your lunch hour. You need to getting paid. I work out a golf course. I'm getting paid right now to sit under love that I'm a big golfer. Where do you? Where do you? Where do you work? At? Southwest Florida Rowing Green Golf Club? Well in Green Well? To tell Froggy, maybe Froggy goes out there. I tried to get Froggy to come down. I was like, dude, I got free. But he's got alley for that. He's got to go across seventy five. I don't know if he's got that kind of Yeah. Yeah, I got my map anyway, Sarada. So it's nice. That's what Greg got his first radio on one oh seven point five. Yeah, Greg, why don't you tell that story? I got story of how Greg t uh he actually got scared, and he cried with his head. He cried, we we we all the way home. When he would roll down. I drove down to that, to Sara Sota, Florida. I was gonna be on a rock station one oh seven point five in Sara Soda. Uh. The call letters were w y n F and it was a alternative rock station. And I got down there, and this is the day after he graduated college. He said, MA, I'm leaving, and he packed his bags, he packed his car and he drove to Sarasota. That's right, he accepted a job without I didn't seeing what the hell the radio station looked like or where they broadcasted. He's like, I'm going. It was sitting right there on the Gulf of Mexico. You looked at a little hole in the wall and you could see the gulf right in front of you, and that's where it was, and the oldies channels there. There was like three radio stations rolled up into one. It was like an oldie's, a jazz and alternative rock all in one radio. And the radio station had a screen door. And there was a beautiful area of Sara Sota that was like gorgeous, like right along the on the waterfront or the beaches. I was like, Wow, I'm I can really get used to this. And then I noticed where I was going to be living, and I'm thinking, it ain't it ain't looking like it looked like the beach. So you did one shift? I said, I'm out of here. One shift be aft his bags, didn't even collect his pay, and I said, I'm out of here. He never even unpacked. The next phone call I made, I was I was in Georgia. I called the program director and I said, I'm not gonna be able to make it. This is how crazy Greg t is. That is true, he's spontaneous, but he doesn't think thinks I drove down for no reason. Stay at South of the Border and everything you ever stayed south of the border. What is south of the border is that? Is that like when you're on on interest driving from like it's halfway more washed into Florida, you get that those south of the border signs that what So what do you get when you get to the south of the border, which I believe is between North Carolina and South Carolina somewhere right, Yeah, man, what do you get? A whole lot of risk a cafes. That's right, you do. You pull in. There's a bunch of little little hotels, motels, holiday in worse than holiday inns were bulletproof glass and it is scary at best, and you stay there and you hope for the best that nobody comes in knocks on your door in the middle of the night. That's pretty frightening, Am I right there? Tim Bart? Yeah, yeah, you're pretty pretty accurate on that one. Yep. And I stayed there by myself. I was nineteen and I stayed by myself. It was scary, man, all right to bark. Thank you, Thank you man, alright, thank you, jacklo with the rack, I like to say, hotel, motel, Holliday and oh boy, Walt Freaks is one of your favorite songs. I think this, bro, this is good. You could have started with this, I'd still be awake. Yes, you creak it up. You know the words, but I know how to dance like song the words you know. The original version of this song is six minutes longer. No, I don't the words. Partial to Apache. Apache is one of my favorites. So hobat hobada hamad hammada hamada ba. This is this is the other sugar Hill Gang song Apache you know what Paul Freak. In my later years of life, I like this song better than Rappers to Life. I used to love Rappers to Life, but I like this one Planet Chatchy much better. This one. Mom, you do the conton the Fresh Prince? This is the Corston dance. Come on with the Carlton dance. I don't know how to do the conson dance. I don't think I've ever seen an episode of A Fresh Place. Wait what, I don't think I've seen an episode of the You know who Carlton is, right, Alfonso Ribero? Yes, but so you do know the show? No, I just know the show, but I've never actually sat down and watched an episode of it. How do you not know the Fresh Prince of bel Air? I just haven't watched it. Have you ever watched an episode of Murder? She wrote? Oh no, but do you know about it? I know the show. Well, what's the difference, which is why are you asking the trick questions? That's low with you? They're just do the song right there? A show is that you? Now? This is a story all about how my life got slipped thurns up because I down and I'd like to take a manager. Sit right there, I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called bell Air. I know it because it's to the show Come on, But I've never watched an episode of the show. You missed, you missed out. This is one of the great TV theme songs of the nineties. Want I can't listen to the theme song. You know, let me see the show. You know sometimes you play this in a bar. And I was a fan of anyway what I said. I was an actual fan of DJ Jazzy Jeff from the Fresh Prince. Growing up, I got some of them. He was parents, just don't understand. Nightmare on my Street. Let me trying me Mac is the first out the limong come on, I got Yeah, I didn't get that. Later with they have the Day, smell you later in cames to send me all my way, gave me I kiss sending, gave me my ticket, I put my man must version first Class show is moving one for so is just two and a half minutes. Listen, hold on. This wasn't the whole time the show all right? Oh wait, I hear the second second hold on the show started. He's still playing it for no reason. No, no, no, hold on, we're like in your room and you're just like playing music. No, two and a half minutes long? Are you paying? My tone? Nails? We go two and a half minutes, bald freaking Greg TV. This is not those version they play on TV. No, they haven't had a version on TV with the virgin nearly editing. They edit things for television. This is my favorite tea. You're just playing any old crap now, Orange, this is not crap. Don't call this crap. It's a shummer time. Man. Come on, I'm just captain whack on the boat. I got the rum out and I have the jukebox out, and I'm just paying. We got a Batchel report coming up, dud. We got an NFL report coming up. There's yeah. We got lifestyle and music report coming up, hard with comedy report. At least can I get the summertime? It's allude here just a little bit? Did be the spring in New York City? We have no direction today, no direct we get what do you mean today? We don't have any direction yesterday either, But you know what, but we had a little bit of a plan. We have no plan today. Nothing with the best show. He had a plan yesterday we did a little bit of just put the NASCAR the ras Can guy on, how we want to call it nack and and then you told him and then you just completely blindsided him and told him that he's been ransack. Report he was throwing threw you guys under the bus. Why did you throw us under the bus? Because you you gave him a title, and you made a promise, and now finally you finally fulfilled that promise. So we squared it away. We're all good. Everything's good now, everything's much so. So is he the officially? What are we're gonna see him again tomorrow? No? No, no, too much of anything is a bad thing. There's been ransacking, there's or too much of a good thing is a bad thing. There's no show tomorrow. Rance. We just found out now right right now, I just I got called. I have to do an appearance tomorrow. I gotta cover an appearance. I'm gonna be at a FedEx store fed X office. Is you gonna mail yourself there? I wish I could do that right now. And they also have to be I have to be at a most Southwest grill and Greg t has an appearance tomorrow to Most Southwest Krill, Branchburg, New Jersey. That's right, So I'll be out there branch Yes, sir, unbelieve that's a bar. That's not the place I'm going to go to. The that's most tavern. They don't serve alcohol. This is Most Southwest Grill, right, the ones that have the gift cards that I remember I were supposed to send you on a date there. So anyway, greg t has to go there at lunch time. To branch Berg, New Jersey to the Most. If you're gonna be in Brooklyn, anybody, I will be in the junction right by Brooklyn College. I'll be at a FedEx store. Where are you gonna be? Where are you gonna be? Yeah, we're gonna be conjunction junctions function. I'm getting my back laser before we go to Mexico. Oh, Harry will the beast. I'm not that Harry. Did you know bald Freak had the Harry is back. He was like Steve correll in Uh not the four year old virgin. Stop embellishing to make yourself look better. That is not true. I like fuzz on my shoulders, just like a manicured and cleaned up. Freake, didn't you didn't you have a bit a harry back? I remember you having a hairy back growing. Yeah, that's well, hello, that's why I'm getting it lasered. Bro he has no hair on his head, but he's got a hair in his back. Yeah, what happened? That's like topsy turvy, that's like upside down. It's testosterone, my man. Well, you know what why we have hairless? Heer? You got hair like not a hairless wonders. Great t shaves all the hair off of his body. I understand that, but he would have hair in places he would not want to if not for that. I want to say one thing. I've always had a bald back and a bald butt. I've never I can't grow hair on my back. I never take bold back. I got a bare back. I got a bare back. No, going bare back is when you're doing it without a completely different story. I bet you've got some hair inside the crack of your your saw there. I bet you've got some hair in there. I have my butt, my butt, leide your shirt. Let me stay in the back there. People really care you've that hair in your buck? But or not? No, he wants to feel my ass. He wants to put his hand down by the door the last time. Let me see. No, come on, let me see if you've got some hair in the saw. I'll bend over. Let me see what's better. If you needed this podcast, this is usually what happens around the twenty minute. More you want some sort of flatulence or inappropriate because if you want to touch my butt, I'm not going to do it in front of the intern. I don't know what touch. I just want to look. It's going on. All your pants down. I'm not pulling my pants. Pulling your pants down? The hellever, I'm not pulling my pants, you know, off their heads hashtag pull your pants down, Let's see it. I'm not even in the room, hom and I don't want him to pull his pants. Well, your pants down, scary you, Let's see your ass. He has no hair in his butt. He's you know, he didn't spread it open, but he does not have hair. I'm spreading mayonnaise on him. That is so weird that you have no hair and you got no hair in my butt. Wow, seriously, he doesn't. He has no hair. I'm like, you know, it's it's weird. It's got a hairlessen. I'm like, I'm pre pupassing. But anyway, the point is I have had hair on my I do have hair in my chest, but I have gone to ideal imit as Greg T has. You got tons of hair on your arms, but as gorilla men are supposed to have. Is the conversation we've had before. He says, men are supposed to have hair in their arms, the rules nobody. I apologize for accusing you of having too much hair on your back, but I remember you having a hairy penny hair is too much hair in my opinion. That's why I get it laser and I don't like. I just don't like havin hair. You must admit Gregg T goes overboard in the shaving process. He's shaved. He's a new born baby. This guy is like a swimmer. He literally needs a swim and he doesn't even swim. I shaved my arms, right. You shave up and down your arms from your fingertips all the way up your arm. All the hair off is under arm, that's correct, not a hair that's entire body. And I understand you want to keep it clean downstairs. That's fine hair, But you shave your freaking legs. That's right, he shaves his legs. This guy has no hair on his cats, so beards and everything. It's right clean. No hair on your your belly button, no no, no, no no way, no I got I got hasgusting. Yeah, it's natural. I agree that it is not natural. Men are changing every single day, and they're they're getting there's manscaping every single day. Changes about four times every single day to change your diaper. I will all right, let's move on because the helm on a second. What you were saying that you're going to get your back lasers, that's what you're doing. More because we're going to Mexico. Okay, you know, I want to look. We should get some he in here, kind of like you know, to wax us, like I'll let my hair grow. We'll all let her have another empty promise we could add to the list. All right. I would do it for a client. Here we go, we had a client, if we had a sponsor that I would do it. Give me some NFL music, scary you want NFL music? Or yeah, coming, I want to go to Ronnie's Report. First of all, the Lifestyle Report. Ronnie's Report Music for a lifestyle report. I have a fireplace going. Yeah, the lifestyles of the famous, Yeah, lifestyles and the famous. That's good song. Yeah, put that on their lifestyles. Yeah, I like that. Who's Robin Leech? We don't have that song. You don't good Charlotte. No, no, we have the anthem that's about it. Oh, come on, that's a great song. No livet said, you said the studio a flame. This is a fireplace. We're burning you a flame as we when we last left Fall freaky of no heat, we had no heating is apart and I still have no heat here here here's here's a hair dryer, so I don't have I don't own a hair dryer. By the higher sit by the hair dryer warm do you sit on the hair dry as well? Warned this we had more stick so nice here. If you could throw some old old affair show outlines on the on the fire, burn those, burn them up because we've never used anything on them to begin with. So what's the update, ballast, Did you get heat? We need your report now. I don't have heat. I took my space heater. I took a space heater home and I used it last night. And it brought the temperature up in the apartment to about obambi and uh, yeah, I had I had companies. So I made dinner, I turned the oven on a vacuum creati and uh, I made the most of it. But it's it's it's colder today than it was yesterday. What did company think? It was? Okay? We were okay, we were enjoying each other's body, enjoining body here. Yeah, what was that like? It was some mood music. How it was for the ball freak and his lady. And I'm trying to get in touch with my attorney now to see what my rights are because because again you don't deny me heat. No, it's not about a lawsuit. It's like, hey, I don't want to pay rent on According to them, spring is sprung? Can I do that? No, it's it doesn't matter. I don't think that they You know what I thought about this after we went off the area, You actually had a thought about it. I did, And I really do think bald freak that you thank you you the doorbell god. You are so themand than give me a doorbell. You're like a donor fall freak to answer the door. Hold on you don't answer yet. There you go? Oh is that my dog would be talking about about? Now you hello? But shut up button, that's no ball freaky. What's up? What do you want to do today? Delicious marinated pork, nice salad with dried cherries, and I love I love eating pork pharaoh seeds I will eat. Yes, you would like me to pull them up? Man, he's down? You would you lack some ball samic dressing? Here's your bell samic? No, I have no heat in my here's your belt? You don't have no heat in my apartment? I want to show you my balls sammic. So anyway should I? Yeah? My my think thought is do I not pay rent on the day's day? I do not have heat? I thought you had originally thought you had something going for you. I really thought it was in your corner. But I do believe now that after March twenty, which when April begins and the spring is here, I don't think that they don't have any obligation to give you heat after they must keep in the state of New Jersey, they must keep the temperature in my apartment at all times of year at a minimum of blank degrees nine sixty sixty seven during the day or sixty eight during the day and sixty five at night. All right, So to somebody that your thermometer to sixty nine just because it's funny, Yeah, I do. I do it all the time every room. I go in to look at this room right here? Yeah nine, what's thermometer says sixty nine? Sixty? Does you know who said that? Yes? So when is he gonna get fixed? There? Bocially boobs on your on your calculator. Yeah, I type in boobs, wadn't fix bob, But I don't know. All I know is you know on Thursday, they're supposed to bring a contractor over to to inspect. Can we call your your guy now? It's called superintendent right now? Why number? Yeah? No, I'm not gonna do that. Why I need to console with my attorney friends who is who also not returned my call? Right, That's who I contacted. It's called ED because if he knows how to bust chops. Anybody knows how to bust chops, it's this guy. We're gonna do that. I like that already. You want to do that? Yeah, mean, if you can get ahold of them, that'd be great. Because I have to talk to him about it anyway. Okay, hold on a second, all right, I swear, what's gonna talk about more Nascar? Let's not talk about Nascar called Jr. You mean no offense. I mean it's a brilliant, you know, money making sport. People love it. But yeah, I'm all out. I'm out on that here. Let's talk about badmint badminton? Can we talk about badminton tomorrow? Badminton? Badminton? Well, that that's the game you played with the net and the shuttlecock, right, perfect, all right, glad we got that covered. What what about badminton? What do you want to say? I said, we talked about NASCAR today. Can we talk about bad minton tomorrow? We can? We could bad minton tomorrow? About curling? Can we have a curling reward? Let's talk about instead of badminton? When we talk about bad medicine? Yeah? Let I thought that's what cabar do you? Jay? Right now? That's interesting? Dialing music? Yeah, get up? Thank you for that. If bon Jovi music came on every time I made a phone call, I'd make a lot more phone calls. Bon Jovi's great, He's not gonna pick up. Oh, he's better, he's in court. No, he's not. He's gonna give you the um. Come on, Jake, pick up, pick up the phone. Don't you like that song? Where is his assistant? No? No, no, oh Selina in June Attorneys eight hundred eight, don't wait call eight. We're calling a real don't heat Come on, Jay? Is he really in court? Well, he is a lawyer. I mean I thought that was just for show. I thought it was a front. I'd say that's a that's this thing possibility. He probably doesn't realize the phone number, but there he is. Jason music for him. Gentlemen, it's the official eight hundred don't wait, Hey, you don't call your client's back. Nice to answer the phone. J I answered the phone the second time I realized it was you fool. Well I would have got the first though. Bald Freak is your clients. I'm like you, Ronnie, I wait like hours before I get back. That's right. You gotta keep them on their toes. Apparently, bald Freaks his people that own the place, the building, and not giving him heat. The heat is gone from the building, and he needs you to represent him because he wants to know what his right is as a tenant, my paying clients the first and therefore I had to do with some of that. Are you trying to say that he does he stiffs you on the bill right there, all these years of being your friend, this is how he gets repaid. Do you mean to tell me that bald freak does not pay a dime to you? It's funny, faster bastard on the morning freak. That's right. Yeah, So what happened? You're not getting heat? I haven't had heat for over a week now, good the uh, there was a leak in the basement, the flood, and apparently the furnaces busted. They didn't tell me until I realized that it was cold as hell in my in my living room on Wednesday. We don't think he has a case, by the way, and then since Wednesday, when I have challenged him as to what's going on, they have not replaced. They have not replaced the furnace or repaired the furnace. Well, let me ask you this. You have hot water? Yes, okay, Um, of course I'm licensed in New York. Information should go right now. According to tenant rights of the State of New Jersey, they required to give me heat, are they not? Uh, if the temperature generally in New York, I could tell you if the temperature generally goes below um degrees I think outside. Okay, so it really depends. I mean, it's been probably chillier than that over the week. It has, and according to my research, it's about what the internal temperature is inside the apartment, and they have not met those requirements. I've taken snapshots of my thermostats. They disappeared. I don't snapchat, that's your job, but they disappeared. Yeah, I got him saved. You have the legitimate gripe based on the recent temperatures in my opinion, right, and my theory is that they're just waiting around to make a prudent decision and shop around because they figure in two weeks it's it's not going to be an issue anymore. But this way, countingtrol the nonsense and even though there well we're on the podcast, it's tell the truth. You can't handle the truth. Your your remedy is limited at this point in my opinion, Can I say, hey, on the days that you did not provide me heat, I'm not going to pay rent. See that's what I originally said that I would absolutely make that argument. Are you documenting that what you should do is put the money in in a in an escrow account. That's usually what you're supposed to do, instead of paying my rent, instead of paying your rent until they give you some type of reasonable answer, that you come up with some type of reasonable and amicable resolution and say I say I do that. Say for say you don't get heat for two weeks and I pro rate my daily whatever my daily rent is, and I don't pay that. What consequences does? Does a guy like me face or anybody face if they do something like that, Well, it's gonna take a bit for them to a victim. You can't get a victim. I'm not talking about eviction. Are they gonna like they're gonna charge me a late fee like I didn't pay the full amount of rent. Well that's why I'm telling you. The best movie is to put it in an escrow scrow account. Yeah, yeah, it's it's it's it's annoying. Well, everything's an this podcast. The situation you interrupting my work day? Did I called you? I told you? You know you know me when you're we're gonna call another attorney right now, that's fine. You know what we think, read think of the plaintiff, all right, thank you? How do I put money in an escrow account? Again? It's just a separate like a separate checking account type of scenario. So I have to open up a checking account again for that's a limited amount of time. You probably don't. I would just make the effort in contact the landlord about it. You're talking a few weeks, You're not talking six months with his holes in the ceiling and no one's repairing it. But I'm cold, man. I know you wouldn't put up. You wouldn't put up for that crap. You'd lose your mind. You're you're a landlord. You don't have to worry about. Thank you so much, am I? Right? Though? You'd lose your mind if you don't have from him. Put onto pants, seriously, pull your past, put on put on extra layers where you worn a hat to bed. So I know you may be unreasonably cold, but that's another story. Right, Bald guys are colder just by nature. All that, all that he comes out of the top of your head, right Greg, you know what he's done right now, right now, bull freak is saving money on his own cell phone. He's using this that he's callings can cheapiest. He won't hang up on Jack. You don't want to give. You don't want to give a landlord because the more room you give them now, the more advantage of taking you later. All right, well, listen, we're now gonna go. You know what we're gonna do here, Jay, We're gonna get a second second opinion, the second opinion about a real attorney. Weren't you a little shit? No? No, no no, we turn to stop around. You know, when you don't like one answer, you go to another attorney. Right, So we're gonna go to a whole Paul is Paul? The ahole on the phone falls off, Paul. That's right. I mean, let's at least get the export of correct come off. Paul's the So it was lawyer one's formal advice to send a threatening email saying I'm not going to pay rent on these days. That's correct. But now we turn our attention to you hang up on him? Yes, he didn't hang up on him. Still, Buff, we're getting actually right, he's writing this down for his own notes. We're getting you a second opinion because this is what happens. You have to shop around a little bit from now. We're gonna turn our attention to another attorney right now, and another attorney this is uh, Paul Furland is with us now, another off air head and Paul has a meeting to go to a little bit, but he's available for consultation. So the off air show now welcome attorney Paul Furland to the table. Everyone, good afternoon, Paul. Uh so Paul. Basically, the whole synopsis here is that um our other friend, Paul freak Um, his landlord has turned off the heat. Uh, the furnace broke and he hasn't repaired it, so he has no heat, and he wants to know does he still owe his rent on the days that he doesn't have heat because a is not enough time for them to turn the turn the heat off. He he still needs his heat right through July. So what does he do in this situation? I wouldn't get the least and see if there's anything in the least about what time you know when they're going to shut the heat about it or they don't shut the heat off. It's broken and they and they want to shop around to get the best price to replace it, and I'm sure it's a big nut for them, So instead of making an immediate decision to fix it, they're taking their sweetest time, and they're probably saying, you know what, we don't have to fix this till November, when you're gonna need the heat again, because guess what it's it's gonna degrees on Saturday. You won't be here it's one now. Are a complaining, whining, sniveling little twerp. You are an ungrateful bostard. May I interject, yes, Jason Smaller, just a little New Jersey statute review here, while while you guys yelling at each other, Um inside apartment temperature must be at least sixty five degrees from October one to May one in the state of New Jersey. And what happens after May one? Well, guess what you got? Six days, my friend less because there's only thirty days in April. But this has gone on since since Sunday, it's hovered between sixty four and sixty seven. Okay, hey, Paul, Yeah, you're on the borderline of not not wasting your own time here. But I was still sending that information to the landlord and trying to get some type of uh yeah, pro readed discount on the next month they have, Paul, what do you think about all that? That's exactly what I was gonna say. I would say, there's this whole I mean, I I'm that is not exactly where I practice, But I know there's a there's a doctrine called constructive eviction where basically the landlord doesn't do something he's supposed to do and makes the condition like uninhabitable, and for that you should be Paul bull free can't inhabit his apartment. Oh my god, I'm freezing my balls off here at degrees. It's gonna be two on Saturday, and I'm not even gonna be here. I'm gonna be in the men Mexico. Give me a break. I don't see the downside to him sending some kind of email or letter to the If you want to be a bullbuster, he can do that. Well why why not? Because Yeah, some attorneys talking to Unason loud scary Jones. Tell tell this guy what the you're talking about? Wait, I can on this because if I can car Yeah, No, no, I would. I I don't think there's no there's no downside too. Why wouldn't Why shouldn't he do it? The guy should fix the heat. I mean, what's the problem. I don't see what the big deal is. The guy doesn't need the heat anymore. It's done. It's not about whether the guy needs it or not. But the guy, you know, should that's what he should do. Right. But why you want why do you want to cause? Why do you want to cause? Like static in the relationship with they'll tend to how about fixing the heat that's causing the static? Right? I love these attorneys. In fact, I would say I would say, if if he might be able to go so far to just withhold a portion of his rent payment. But the first thing I would do is just in the letter. Just in the letter, send an email and say, you know, you guys got to fix this or else I'm going to do this. And that's what I'm gonna do, you know why. And then and then in about a year, when your your lease is up, he's gonna fuck you by raising he raises me anyway, he's gonna raise you more this time to live. Maybe he will and maybe he won't. But it's just a it's a testable of the matter. And it's cold out, bro, it's freezing. How cold are you right now? In the studio? Two attorney's telling you the same exact thing. And then you don't want your landlord taking advantage of you and saying this, This douche doesn't complain. I'll just shut the heat off in March next time. Right, you gotta draw in the sands it. I don't. And I don't think you're gonna get thrown out or anything like that. I don't think. I mean, there's there's no way can evict you. They get way too much rent for me, trust me an evictor for that? All right? How long have you how long have you been there? Two and a half years? And you had any problems before this? It's a management it's a drag you know. It's a typical drag as management company there. You know there's stallers and as draggers. Right, and what are the odds of him getting another sucker like you to over pay for a place over there? Thanks exactly, Well, scary is available. He doesn't care. Yeah, if you put him in there, he doesn't care about heat. Easy going tenant, that's all that's who you are. Also, ready, I had a raccoon est. I can tell you I've been in Greg's house. There. It's always freezing in there. We do like it, right we I shower in the cold water. I don't even like hot water. You're showering cold water. I don't like hot water. Right, It's like Greg, that's right in there, it's always it's always cold, all right, listen, F Paul, thank you very much, thank you. You know, send mill to Scary Jones care of the off air show. Yeah, slippery Jane, slip slipper, Jay, You're you're tarnishing guys name and you're calling the other guy, F Paul. That's right. They don't want to help us out. That's the best they can do. Some girl came over and said, my arm my bed looked like an army bed. Wow, what is your bed look like? That's no fun. It's just a sheet and a blanket on it. It's it was a sheet with a blanket on top, and like another blanket on top of that in a cartoon bed. That's a cartoon. Beds are like a sheet in a blankets not decorated with like other things. And what do I need to decorate my bed quilt? I don't have a quilt. This has been the absolute worst podcast aver. You don't have a patchwork going on there. We've been here for nearly an hour. We didn't even get to the story of the breaking news about TMZ. He had like seven other reports. I don't know what happened here? What happen? What about your curling report? And with nothing music, no CSI music, no nothing, just yelling screaming down the phone line. It was just crazy. I know how to paint the picture. Nobody could paint a picture. No one could have start finished middle nothing yelling is screaming down the line the entire time. Did you hear that Chris from The Bachelor? I don't even care at this point. Now he was about an hour ago for fleeing the scene of a crime. He rammed into a track cast. Yeah, Paul, freak, here's what we're gonna do. I'm gonna leave and walk out.
