Speaker 1: Brooklyn Boys Podcast Slice Reactions.
00:00:13
Speaker 2: This podcast all depends on you, baby.
00:00:29
Speaker 1: That's right, Brooklyn Boys Slice time for episode three eighty four and beyond. What's going on there, David Brody, not much, Gary Jones. It's a beautiful day where we live. I assume your weather is the same as my weather. Yeah, it's gorgeous over here. It's nice. Came out of the monsoon this morning. Nobody believed me that the sun was going to come out. But the sun is out right now in New York City. Thanks, thanks, thanks Annie. Well, anyway, this is uh, the episode about the episode. This isn't the main episode of the Broken Boys. This is the competitor here. Yeah, but we're happy that you decided to check us out here and listen to what other people had to say about the last episode and the ones before it. And that's what we call it talk back. And you could always drop us one of those when you listen to the iHeartRadio app, click on the microphone and you can get in on it. Like all these people you're about to hear any uh, anything you'd like to add, David Brody before we move along and check out this week's lot. Is it a lot? Or is it all it's it's it's a it's a it's a lot. No, it's not. It's a lot. No, a lot. I mean this week's a lot, like almost like this, it's a lot. It's a group, it's a packet. It's not a lot of a lot. It's just a lot of It's a little bit of a lot, if you know what I'm saying. Not a lot of a lot. No, that would be That would be enormous. That would be Is it a lot of lums? There're a whole lot of lums three or four, thank you, Pete Puma. And not a whole lot of love, which would be led Zeppelin. That would be my god. All right, let's just get to it.
00:02:08
Speaker 3: Brooklyn Boys drew from Manhattan, Kansas. You guys are missing the joke on this Jurassic pork sandwich. Birds are dinosaurs. They evolved in the Jurassic period. Then you have pork bacon. I e Jurassic pork sandwich.
00:02:27
Speaker 1: Okay, I guarantee when these people were putting that chicken sandwich together and called it Jurassic pork, they were not thinking that dinosaurs or birds evolved from each other. Absolutely not. They just put bacon on it, and that was the pork. And more importantly, the call was about that there's no pork on the sandwich, and we talked about how bacon is pork. So I love that you're digging deep into the genetics of dinosaurs. I'm sure that's not the joke they were going for that, but because most people have no clue what it is, or that t rex might have had feathers, no, no, I love it, but no, Liam here.
00:03:03
Speaker 4: That court thing was about crossing the street and the street lights were too fucking short, and god bothers me at two in the morning, all because across the street.
00:03:16
Speaker 1: Yep, that's it. So the light cycle was very quick and he got caught in the middle and the cops got him. That's unfair. Give the kid a chance. I guess, drive faster there here, trucker, you're funny. That was good. Don't electricate your pains. That's funny.
00:03:39
Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, I got ship. I don't understand the window in the structure for a tall ride structure, but I'm pretty sure he can move it in and out fixing the window. It's pretty simple on those structurals. Out structures work and building it doesn't make any sense for me, doesn't make sense.
00:04:00
Speaker 1: It won't make sense. It's just constructed differently by an Asian company. And I've confirmed from three different people. Now it can only be repared for the outside. So and then.
00:04:11
Speaker 4: Again last one, Tuesday Day, twenty eighth, you on a fifteen scary you're talking about kid acting a cat. That's it's called demonic possession. You need to pray that out of that kid. The same thing with Turett's. That's demonic possession. Oh no, probably that out of it. It's just a demon And you got to read your Bible.
00:04:34
Speaker 1: It's literally a David Tourett's period of Bible. They didn't have a definitely dips the hill period for those who have Turets. I apologize for that. Sorry, William, I'm sorry about that. No, we can't, We're not gonna do not gonna do that. Moving on, Thank you Liam.
00:04:53
Speaker 5: Morning guys for Brooklyn man It. Commenting on the guy that told said that you said escally, I caught that too, that you said escalate. I thought you meant el Dorado. Escalate is an s u V. That's the same as a tahoe or yukon. Yes, sports Today and Brody or sports called or Coop or whatever it is.
00:05:18
Speaker 1: Helps but no, no, no, no, yes for made back then, I was thinking of what's the sporty the sporty Cadillac, the El Dorado. No, no, no, no, it's the well the Escalators, is the suv the big truck. He's right, I don't know what PROTI seven the last episode. Feel free to uh just check his facts. But he probably misspoke. I know I was thinking to the Cadillac, Escalates sport or the x T four. Okay, sorry, right.
00:05:57
Speaker 6: High Brooklyn boys, Jenny Broom, I'm right here episode laughing to myself listening to you guys talk about cutting hair in the garage and the commercial with the kids. I actually am an in home groomer and I cut hair in people's garage every single day, and I find it hysterical that someone got their butt hurt about it. But I actually make quite a bit of money cutting hair in a garage with my license.
00:06:24
Speaker 1: Yeah that's the difference. Sing, that's awesome. It's you know this way easy clean up in the garage. Right. No, also, no rent, I mean no Lean from Ohio.
00:06:36
Speaker 7: Well boys, listigate this day and hour Wednesday, July twenty ninth, Elvis, sixteen minutes in to thirty nine seconds said little kids taste better in Italy.
00:06:52
Speaker 1: Investigate that was this lilttleminati? What are you talking about? Come on, this sounds creepy as fuck, and I'll piss. Let's fix this ship. Okay, Liam, he's choking Elvis. It's very tongue in cheek and not not in the cheek of a young boy. You've been listening to this show for years. You get Elvis's humber come on.
00:07:14
Speaker 8: Now, Oh my god a hundred and I agree with Caitlin from being sure.
00:07:22
Speaker 1: I was thinking the same thing.
00:07:25
Speaker 8: But then Elvis was mentioning Daniels and Gandhi's podcast. I was that great.
00:07:31
Speaker 1: Is he gonna see Brooklyn Boys?
00:07:34
Speaker 8: Come on? Scary. I know you're not a co host, but you been there for thirty years. Brooklyn Boys deserve a shout out to Yeah, okay, feel.
00:07:44
Speaker 1: You know, we do. Feel free to call Elvis up and tell him nothing we can do about it. It's kind of it's kind of tough, you know.
00:07:55
Speaker 9: Hey, Kaitlyn, F'm be sure. This is Skyler from New York. See, I totally agree with you. Every time Elvis is raving about Gandhi's podcasts, my first thought is that podcast isn't doing well. Why is he promoted?
00:08:10
Speaker 1: No, it's doing very well, episode opposite constantly.
00:08:14
Speaker 9: That's the impression I get. Now, obviously the case, but that's the impression I get also because why are you beating this dead horse?
00:08:23
Speaker 1: Now that's not true at all. And when things perform well, you promote them even more. That's that's why, that's why, that's why Coke advertises, right, they don't. You don't you think they wouldn't need to, but they do. Donald and her podcast is amazing, it's it's it's excellent.
00:08:40
Speaker 9: Here, oh Colan, and promote the Brooklyn Boys on the Live Show, the Big Show. But I don't think they're gonna let me on.
00:08:51
Speaker 1: I love that defeatist attitude. Thanks, thanks for checking out.
00:08:54
Speaker 9: What I'm hearing is there's an apartment building in Jersey City where the throwing.
00:09:00
Speaker 3: Up birds, just throwing birds.
00:09:03
Speaker 10: Then you got to use the window guy.
00:09:06
Speaker 1: Yep, that's what I'm hearing. That's what it is. They's smashing windows. They got a drone and they're like, oh, let's get that suckers windows. He just moved in Bam Bam, they got a thrown shoes.
00:09:16
Speaker 11: He Aberglyn Boys.
00:09:17
Speaker 12: I'm going going to remain anonymous so people don't get mad at me. And I'm sure that this is a great artist. But I'm listening to episode three nineteen in two thousand and four and it is now twenty twenty six, and I have never heard of Grazy Abrams, So I don't know if she's going to be the next Taylor Swift. I feel like Scary just says every artist is going to be the next Tailor Swift. But I've never heard of her.
00:09:42
Speaker 1: Bye, Okay, that's okay. It's hard not to have heard of her if you listen to pop radio. But she's a female guitar playing write her own songs in the vein of Taylor Swift with yeah a nice following. She's got vin fit Taylor on tour. Yeah, she's She's She's Taylor at the next Tale of Swift. As I've said before, oh who sings that? Oh thank you Zebra O being Zebra. I've said before, there's only one Tale of Swift. And to compare every female artist with a guitar or Sabrina Carpenter and say she's the next Talen Swift. She's once in a generation talent and megastar. But there are other people like Gracie Adams. Gracy Abrams is very talented, very talented. She is no Tailor Swift. You're right, scary things everyone's also.
00:10:29
Speaker 12: For the record, I did just listen to the rest of the conversation. I have heard of Sabrina Carpenter, and I am in my thirties. I don't know if I sound young or old. I consider myself young. Maybe I'm getting really old. I'm in my later thirties. Have heard of Marina Carpenter, have not heard of Grazy Abrams in the middle end of twenty twenty six. So anyway, Well, I just wanted to share.
00:10:56
Speaker 1: Okay, various musical tastes. But I can tell you right now the fact that you just have to say I've heard of Sabrina Carpenter, that means you're just kind of teetering on familiarity with her. You actually should know like nine of her songs by now. But you probably have heard Gracie Abrams on the Morning show. I'm talking about Sabrina car music. No I'm saying she doesn't she doesn't know. Gracey Abram says, I would imagine you've heard our music, just might not have been aware that it was her, or you may have thought it was Taylor right or something like that. But yeah, I mean, listen, it's okay. Or Olivia Rodriguez rod Rouz. A lot of my friends, listen people my age, A lot of my friends, they've never heard of any of these artists. So I mean, I work in a pop culture world. So no, scary as Brooklyn friends aren't as cool as we are, right.
00:11:41
Speaker 13: Scuy Brody Body Scar, I can see what were the episode three eighty three Body, this was for you.
00:11:47
Speaker 1: I'm surprised you did. You're putting together when it comes to this category. Thank you. It was a redudency that you said, deg Carcass.
00:11:57
Speaker 13: You don't need to say dead Hawkins is a dead body, got be got Bee. Sure you're well aware, but I just had to tell you do dead part Rocket over.
00:12:07
Speaker 1: The Rock for the redundancy. I don't know rock and Steve over there you are right, he's right now. I don't know how I messed that boys podcast.
00:12:20
Speaker 14: We will be right back.
00:12:23
Speaker 1: I like when people call us out on a ship. If you can find a small mistake. That means I've done my job in making grammar important to people. So good, Yeah, good, Yeah, I slept up. I feel I will work on that reminds me of a shirt that scary has. This says Department of redundancy. Department love that great? Sure all right?
00:12:43
Speaker 15: Continuing, Oh, Lord of enjoyment here, what's going on? Rody scary scary brody place for life here? Uh, brody, you don't swipe to get it off your algorithm. For all those bad influencers, You've got a whold the thing. Hold your finger on the image and then press not interested or pushed the little three dots in the top and push not interested. That's what gets it off your algorithm.
00:13:10
Speaker 1: In well, I just mean I I just mean I swipe it like to get out of my face. You swipe it, swipe it like it's hot. Yeah. If you go to your your your search page right here, what do they call it your for you? Yeah? Like that the foot not on TikTok on Instagram? Yeah, explore page right and you long press on something. Let's say it's sharks. You long press on the shark and say, I want to see more of these I don't wan to see any of these. You can do that, and I've done that. Where shit pops up, I'm going, oh, Lord of Enjoyment, back.
00:13:40
Speaker 15: For the second talk back. I always hate multiple talk backs, but here I am uh. I just realized about Josie on a vacation far away. I used to work for a DJ company that I remember clearly. At one of the weddings, d that listed as a song not to play. Yeah, yeah, it all makes sense. Wonder that had something to do with that couple.
00:14:02
Speaker 1: You imagine if bride's name is Josie and they play that song because he thinks it's about her. They got the memo and Lord coming back for the third time.
00:14:13
Speaker 15: Message, sorry about this will never happen again, multiple messages. Okay, But about this cat in the classroom situation, I have the perfect way to handle it. When they bring that stuff up in the school, all you have to say is so you're saying, since you're accommodating and passing a cat, I can sign up my actual cat for the school and you'll give them a diploma. Correct, and if my cat correct, No.
00:14:38
Speaker 1: You have to say the cat identifies as a person, then you're okay. Then you're all right.
00:14:44
Speaker 15: And then if they come back and say, oh, well, this child is an actual human and that's an actual cat, then you just say to them, okay, so you're acknowledging that this is a human and not a cat, so we can stop all this cat nonsense that this child is doing and get them some mental.
00:15:01
Speaker 1: There you go.
00:15:01
Speaker 15: That's how you handle it. That's how you catch them in their own words.
00:15:07
Speaker 1: Thank you, by the way, from the Lord of enjoyment. Give you give the kid a mouse, and you say, hey, go eat the mouse if you're a cat. Yep, exactly all right.
00:15:16
Speaker 5: Continuing along, Hey guys, Benny from Brooklyn, Hey, uh, I nevern't realized that about Joey's I don't really pay too much attention to song lyrics. I just like songs. But that's pretty fucking funny. I never realized that. But more importantly, I was thinking about the chicken cutlet thing, the chicken palm. Completely agree with you guys that it's got to be a cutlet, and you're one hundred percent right. A cutlet is breaded, and it has Italian seasons and whatever it may be, salt, peppa, cheese, gallic powder, some sort of herbs like a reikino. I mean, everybody makes them a little bit differently, but that's not the point. They're breaded and they're pounded, yes, in chicken cutlet you know it. Whereas chicken tenders usually, like Brody said, a flower based bata, and it's usually seasoned with other stuff like gallic powder, paprika and other stuff. I mean, I know some of it is the same, but it's really the cheese and the natchees.
00:16:17
Speaker 1: Now, these were straight out the mass produced fucking assembly line in a fucking plastic bag from the freezer. So they should have just given you a juice box with it. Just awful.
00:16:27
Speaker 16: Hey, recods Jamie from Queen's here, you guys talking about how people didn't know what the song Your Love by the Outfield is about. A friend of mine didn't realize what the song Scotty Doesn't Know by Lustra was actually about. I explained to him recently that it's about the fact that this guy is telling everyone that Scotty's girlfriend lies to him and goes to bang this guy all the time. And my friend was like, I've heard the song.
00:16:56
Speaker 1: What are we talking about? What song is this? Okay? So it's a song that you and I have never heard of. Okay, but she's talking about a guy, guy who's cheating on his girlfriend with another guy and he's banging a guy. And that also a song that people didn't know what it was about. But it's probably should be a song people have heard of. But I get that some songs people don't listen to the meaning. It's like, you know what, perfect example, people think Born in the USA is the most patriotic song. Yeah, born, he was born in the youth. It's don't read the lyrics. It's about It's about, among other things, how poorly Vietnam veterans are treated when they came back to guess after the walk. That's another great it's not a pro keep it mainstream songs that people have heard of. Born in the USA like that, like that one. It works always weird.
00:17:46
Speaker 17: I heard the Mark Summer's interview on the Alstrancho. I was a little upset that he didn't mention Brooklyn Boys, but he did not mention serial killers. Eiger Gandhi's podcast is great. She does have some great guests, and you know, then maybe some guests, some more guests on your show. The show is entertainment and funny, so it's Dandy's but she does have a little bit more intellectual stuff.
00:18:10
Speaker 1: But I still love it, of course. And and yeah, I mean we can stop with these. It's quite a bit of of people people. I love it. I love it, but it's it's okay. I'll be fine, We'll be fine. Sorry, I will. I appreciate you guys all step it in. You know, I just think someday Elvis will mention us in a positive light and she go, you know what, guys, you should listen to the Brooklyn Boys podcast. How many talkbacks are we gonna get? Then it's gonna blow up?
00:18:43
Speaker 17: Yeah, hey, this spot too, okay, Yeah, you jingle on me. It's only two. Yes, your podcast probably wasn't mentioned. Just like Boby said, it is not brand new. I know Kandhis is not brand new, but it's well as we do. They didn't mention serial hills. I think are just myself. Sure, but you know, a just Elvis, I don't like your podcast. He probably just like Gandhi's intellectual one War even though.
00:19:09
Speaker 1: You know intellectual, Yeah, guy, he doesn't relate to our podcast the way he relates to Gandhi's and that's fine. So also we've covered this. He has to promote his co hosts and their podcasts, and that makes total sense. Scary is not a co host and I'm not on the show anymore. So he's looking around the studio. He's thinking about my co host. Listen, it's a three armed machine there, well, not three arms, a lot of arms, but it's a triangle of co hosts of hosts, and he's got to promote. I get it. I totally get it, saying yeah, I did too.
00:19:41
Speaker 18: Yeah, Brooklyn boys Michael from Sullivan County, New York.
00:19:46
Speaker 1: Hey, Brodie and Scary. Uh.
00:19:49
Speaker 18: It's funny as you mentioned Poor Jervis, because I live fifteen minutes outside of Poor Jervis. My wife has a studio in Poor Jervis and I'm always there. So now I need to look up these two people that us King and then and also the Barry Manilou thing. My friend loves Barry Manilo. He's a fan of low. We went to a concert July first, I swear to god. It was at Mohegan Sun in Pennsylvania. There, I believe you. Part two oh, Part two coming continuation of the Barry Manilo fan. He so at this concert, the first two songs was horrible. He came out looking like a robot. I swore it was a cadaver on stage being you know, I don't know, controlled by someone. But then he got better and you know, things picked up and was all right. It was one of those concerts like why the fuck did we just go to this? But whatever, it was for a good friend and he's a big fan. That's being said. It's weird that you guys mentioned that he looked like he is not supposed to be performing. I agree on that.
00:20:44
Speaker 1: He's also a living legend, so sometimes you just want to see them and be there for the experience of the living legend. I mean, I think if I had an opportunity to see Frankie Valley perform, I would go just to say I did hands there. I know, but I think I would do it. I think I would just got an Artists when they get older, like Phil Collins, sit on a chair and sing. You don't need to dress up with the with the feathers on your arms and do copa cabana. If you can barely move, it's okay to just sing. But I'm sorry, Frankie Valley is no longer singing. He just stands there and grins on the track plays of the speakers. You know what you're doing. You're getting in a room and you're listening to him to a CD with Frankie Valley. That's what you're doing. When you put it like that, all of a sudden, it's not so appealing to go sing, Hey, what you do? Last night I went and listened to a song with Frankie Valley in the same room. I was feeling like I was a little too harsh on last episode from artists, you know, the topic of artists that need to hang it up, And I was having a change of heart there and I'm thinking that these are living legends and we should go see them for as long as they're out there. But now David Brody just negated the whole situation. Now, no, you should go see David Lee Roth but unfortunately canceled this tour. You should go see Motley and you know the words. You don't need to hear Vince Steel sing him. Then you should go see bon Jovi because his voice will be better. But Frankie Valley is No one's told him he's died yet, He's got He's like, I've got a wooden board in the suit and he's just leaning up against it. Okay, all right, on being very very vicious. You could go see Rich McConnell sing at this legendary show. Legendary Okay, third talk back. I'm not going to leave fall and get play out. Everyone else does.
00:22:27
Speaker 18: Anyway, you guys are doing a really good job with the podcast and keeping up with all the crazy crap. Brody good thing for calling out Scary and all the stuff he does on the Big show. And he you know, he could invite you to things a little bit better and not make you the third and fourth choice.
00:22:42
Speaker 1: Oh, just not tell you that he invited other people. But I guess you deducted that he did that already. Anyway, keep up the good work, guys, love the podcast. Thanks, appreciate you all right, cool? I like that.
00:22:55
Speaker 14: This is Christy from color Hey, thank you, buddy for standing up for John Bunjovi. That was very nice of you, because Scary is bad mounting him. I appreciate you standing up for our man from New Jersey. And I don't care if he's in a wheelchair singing songs. It doesn't matter.
00:23:22
Speaker 19: Okay, you heard the woman Heather and Cincy here, what up? So I'm originally from New York and I lived in Connecticut for many years as well. And I love the video you pointing me towards I am always going to call it guacamole from now on. And it's definitely a struggle here because when I say Moots or Regot, people look at me like I have five heads. But I just can't then train myself. I know there's others here because I've run into him, but it's a struggle.
00:23:55
Speaker 1: The struggle is real. We got like, now, we we got to take a break. It's the Brooklyn Boys podcast. Ah, We're light, We're a little light in the loafers there today. Brody, Finally, that's a different thing. It's a different thing, man. The final stretch of Moots, the final stretch of Moots coming up right here.
00:24:16
Speaker 20: Gods, Brody's scary, Scary and Brody it's dead and I'm fucking round, um man. All I know is I'm listening to the story about Scary saying about he's at this Italian festival with all of our people, and all of a sudden they try to pass off a chicken tender as a.
00:24:33
Speaker 1: Fucking chicken yard.
00:24:34
Speaker 10: Yet I know where in the hell their heads are, but clearly it's right up the wrast because nobody, no real Italians are trying to grab a chicken tender pass.
00:24:45
Speaker 1: It off as a fucking chicken box.
00:24:47
Speaker 10: Yeah, and you know, I would love to see hear somebody's art, love the passion.
00:24:50
Speaker 1: Hing about this.
00:24:51
Speaker 10: Who in the right mind who's raised as an Italian can turn around and say, oh, well, this is acceptable to our people. Listen, you might get that pass off with all these other people who don't understand real time food and real town culture coming from Grandma's cooking on Sundays and Sunday sauce. And you know, I know my people out there understand this, but you cannot make that work with real Italian people.
00:25:14
Speaker 1: It doesn't work. Amazing, Amen, sister, thank you so much. She felt the passion that I was feeling. My blood was boiling. Can't argue with.
00:25:25
Speaker 10: Dez all right, So listen, Hoboken, Coot, Dina and Catering. You're at the top of our fuck you list, because all I know is that scarious right should have never accepted it, wanted it, or had it to begin with, because it's a fucking disgrace, the scrace for said disgrace. So you know what, we put them, Brody, I go, we got a list going. We're gonna put them at the top of the list now because they are public enemy number one, right next to poor Lorena, because we've sit on her a lot lately too.
00:25:56
Speaker 1: I yes, you guys have uh she's uh yeah, Oh she's onto the next project. Way do you hear that? On the next Booklyn Boys podcast? My interior design on the arena? Oh yeah, no, no, when are you going to be done? She's got that's the thing. She's got more suggestions for me from Oh more, I designed the area around your broken window. Oh my God, tell you she's gonna want stained glass from the Sistine Chapel.
00:26:22
Speaker 11: James Jamie put your frustration about the text messages on a character's phone that are too small to be read. I have another frustration for you. When you're watching a show or movie the character is speaking another language, and they translate in captions what's being said so you can read it and understand. But the color of the captions blends in so much with the background or the character shirt that you can't fucking read the captions.
00:26:52
Speaker 1: Agreed, Is that right? Yeah? Sometimes the person's wearing a white shirt and they put a white font on. You're like, it's not outlined in black. No, now they don't do that. Let's I'll tell you watching a great show on Netflix. It's from a few years ago. But broad Church, uh huh. On the Brooklyn Boys, but they're showing cell phones from ten years ago, like really janketty cell phones and the text message screens are huge, so they were texting. I'm like, I can see that. I can see that from the couch. Loved it. Old shows, terrific.
00:27:26
Speaker 16: With the Wheel?
00:27:27
Speaker 1: Would you retire the Point?
00:27:28
Speaker 18: The Sisters?
00:27:28
Speaker 1: You didn't retire the Point touring? And he's got they got an album coming out there. I'm so excited, so excited, same conversation.
00:27:38
Speaker 11: Here's another.
00:27:40
Speaker 1: He is performing my d from the BC Boys. One of three, okay, Brittany, one of three? Three, Oh, Brittany. Here's a song called three. I don't know about that.
00:27:51
Speaker 13: Yeah.
00:27:51
Speaker 1: You can't do numbers single and singular words with that? Okay? Who sings one? A yellow one? Is this?
00:27:59
Speaker 12: Well?
00:27:59
Speaker 1: One? Is you too? That one?
00:28:01
Speaker 4: Yeah?
00:28:02
Speaker 1: I don't know that's that? That's really he's really listening closely. He's needling us Brodie. That's great. He's wrong, wrong, always wrong.
00:28:22
Speaker 12: As bulls close.
00:28:24
Speaker 4: Why they close it so early?
00:28:26
Speaker 5: Also, can you give a follow up on the pickle ball douchebag that got hit in the head with the ball?
00:28:31
Speaker 11: Did did he change it.
00:28:32
Speaker 3: All after that?
00:28:33
Speaker 1: Does he still play?
00:28:34
Speaker 15: Is he's still the same way and everything?
00:28:37
Speaker 1: Okay? First of all three Dog Nights sings one is the onliest numbers you have to do? Okay?
00:28:42
Speaker 17: Uh?
00:28:43
Speaker 1: Was it thunderstorm? It was a thunderstorm. That's why the pool closed early. It was an impending bad weather so they closed it in uh precaution. And as far as the douchebag, the rich kid, the douchebag, I don't know if he went away to like he went away to summer camp or he went like he got a job for the summer. Have not seen him back to get hit in the back of the head. Well he's too embarrassed to come back. That could be it.
00:29:04
Speaker 21: Hero this and Scar from the Park walking around so h I.
00:29:12
Speaker 1: Hate this episode.
00:29:15
Speaker 22: Just because Scary Jones happens to rehash the same.
00:29:18
Speaker 1: Ship tell us how you really feel?
00:29:21
Speaker 21: And the Elvis on the Morning Shows.
00:29:25
Speaker 22: Furthermore, the Very Girl Cat Person allegedly a presumably potentially a friend of Scary Scary. This is not your real friend. This is an Instagram post you so this.
00:29:41
Speaker 1: Is a TikTok.
00:29:42
Speaker 22: Your watch stop ring?
00:29:44
Speaker 1: I know I'm gonna stop right there. David Brody, why don't you just speak take this, take the stand. This is a connection to Scary that's legitimate. I I know who he knows, who knows them, and I know that he's spoke to them directly, and and I'm dancing around it because I'm protecting the person and their job. Yeah. No, this isn't like somebody sent up because you look. I called him out. I said, it's this. This story was originally a hoax from Texas five years ago. This is not that. And this is happening in real life. Hey wan, why don't you go into a public school today and tell me what you're seeing. Why don't you report back? That's not every public chap. There are schools that this is going on in middle schools and high schools around America. All right, it's happening, folks. Anyway. The issue is that this was a legitimate story. It is an absolutely legitimate.
00:30:37
Speaker 21: All this Harry and the chicken cutlet controversy, scary, Dunne is your anger.
00:30:46
Speaker 1: It's focused on the wrong people. Uh, go complain to the owner. Oh, do do what Broody would do?
00:30:55
Speaker 21: Call out the owner because this is the owner's full They probably grabbed he didn't from the restaurant and say you, you, and you, this is what I'm giving you.
00:31:05
Speaker 22: This is where you're gonna sell. This is the menu.
00:31:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, he didn't take Joe, I'm so sorry about that. What would you say? You didn't take it out on the employees. You took it out by naming the place the owner. I did? I did? I called out the owner on the air. Yeah, several times. And here you said the name of the place that's calling out the owner. Yeah. I didn't pick it out on the people. All I said was I don't want to send me the owner. By getting my money back, Oh you did good. I got my money back. Yeah, Hey, Brody is scariest. Joe in California still tends to be. You know, basically Italian Catholics. You got Tony sausage versus Anne Marie's sausage over there. Okay, Steve from the Bronx. Now we're quoting other people. So that's something that Steve and the Bronx would say. Okay, it's very funny. I guess he's yeah, that's creative.
00:31:59
Speaker 8: I like that.
00:32:00
Speaker 1: You get me half a point.
00:32:03
Speaker 16: Hey, brod Scar.
00:32:05
Speaker 23: This is Pat from sinds Ohio, longtime listener, first time talkbacker. In regards to who needs to hang it out musical, definitely Vince Neil Mottley Crue seen twice recently. He didn't even know the lyrics songs.
00:32:24
Speaker 1: Thanks guys, Thank you, thanks for adding that. It's my impression of Vinci, but.
00:32:34
Speaker 4: Dumb.
00:32:35
Speaker 1: Really I thought you were I thought you were imitating Axel Rose. There, No, Axl Rose is worse. Vince just like mumbles a syllable every few syllables. All right, thank you.
00:32:49
Speaker 24: M B from d E here.
00:32:50
Speaker 11: But up.
00:32:52
Speaker 24: You guys talking about your algorithms. They're awful. My algorithm is great. It's nothing but boobs algorithm.
00:33:04
Speaker 1: We gotta fix it. Send us boobs and then my algorithm will be fixed. That's okay. So I can't speak for tiktoktok, TikTok. Yeah, Instagram algorithm is very easy to it's hard to get rid of things you don't like, you have to like go in and like eliminate them, but you can You can easily change your algorithm in Instagram by searching for things like if I search for pizza and then like the posts I see, then my whole search feature is pizza. That you can it it. You can do that as long as you like things. But if you if you watch a video, like for instance, if you watch a video that happens to like I said, a girl in a met shirt right popp and have big boobs, the algorithm doesn't know if I'm liking it because she's got a met shirt on or because she has big boobs. So it's gonna show you both of those things going forward. So you have to do both of those. Just go forward, or they go up and down and all around they go Yep, they do.
00:34:05
Speaker 3: Thank you help me.
00:34:06
Speaker 14: I'm me, i'm i'm i'm i'm me, helm me, I'm i'm i'm me, helm me, i'm me, I'm you.
00:34:11
Speaker 1: Okay, thank you. Oh that was That was the end of that one. We're gonna go out on that note. The last one here it is.
00:34:24
Speaker 25: Brooklyn Boys, the Kings from Kings.
00:34:27
Speaker 1: This is Steve from Queens threety four.
00:34:29
Speaker 25: Right out of the gate, boys, I was thinking, you guys have a ten year anniversary calling up next July. Per what Brody said, Why don't you guys start playing some type of tenth anniversary special I meet up with everybody or something with something big something guys that think about All right, let's talk back one for now.
00:34:46
Speaker 1: We love with the guy.
00:34:47
Speaker 25: What you guys do, have a good one.
00:34:48
Speaker 1: Appreciate it, Thank you, and thanks for the recommendation, and thanks for the check in on that. I like that mix. What are we doing for our tenth anniversary? You know what? I don't know. Maybe we'll get Elvis to announce our tenth anniversary. I think he will. Else will do that here, of course he will, absolutely Maybe he'll be on our tenth anniversary show. Can we do that? Maybe I'm gonna ask him now and kind of like warm up to the idea of being July, of being on the well maybe by then, you know, it'll be a thing I would love. Wait till like January, where it's the same year. Let's let's so starting in January, we're gonna we're gonna start laying the groundwork we'll start working Elvis to try and be on the podcast. Right, the big tenth anniversary is coming up. I love it all right, thank you for your talkbacks today, folks Book the Boys podcast reactions.
00:35:48
Speaker 2: This podcast depends on you.
00:35:52
Speaker 1: Baby has never
Speaker 1: Brooklyn Boys Podcast Slice Reactions.
