His song was on the air. He was on today to promote his restaurant and you guys all eat his food. It was amazing. I'm very jealous of the food. Really really food was next level. But yeah, you get to enjoy it all the time because it sounds like you're always in there. But I'm not in there as much as i'd like. The problem is, you know those restaurants that have like one thing you like, you go there, you go, I got that one thing. It's great. This place has a lot of true this has this has like twenty five things that I would eat appetizers decide. He makes Mexican little things, he makes American dishes and onion dishes.

Speaker 3: I just wanted to hand it is scary. I just googled after all the back and forth about Buster and Punch. Personally, I think they're fucking dope and I don't know, they're not that expensive. I'm a poor person, but uh, I don't know. Fuck it, I'd go for it too.

00:03:18
Speaker 1: Wow, I got one, Brody. I feel like the Buster and Punch argument was like one hundred percent against me until this one right here. Thank you. I love it. Well, you know what she's got great taste. What can I say?

00:03:31
Speaker 5: Uh?

00:03:31
Speaker 1: And I've got no money, mem ohio.

00:03:35
Speaker 6: This whole slice tie episode is so freaking funny.

00:03:39
Speaker 7: That's someth to say.

00:03:42
Speaker 6: I don't know what else do, but uh yeah, von valade is, let's be professional, let's take it easy. But let's have some respect. Oh you're talking to ogs the of the show, so let's have some respect.

00:03:56
Speaker 1: Okay. Shots fired from William Liam again Brodie.

00:04:01
Speaker 6: With rad Radeo towers, you have to have to wear a electrical glove and then you can touch it with a stick. Static what electricity comes off and you can hear radio channel cooking through. That's why the big fences of around radio stations Tower six, you know, that's the reason why. And warning signs and all that you will get. You will die if you touch it.

00:04:28
Speaker 1: Period. Fascinating news. Love hearing that. Thank you. You love hearing that people will die. Start kicking off with a positive from Liam.

00:04:38
Speaker 8: No, not on the big shoe for the uncomfortable dinner party right here on the Brooklyn Boys podcast.

00:04:46
Speaker 2: That's what you want to do. I don't know you want us to have an uncomfortable dinner party.

00:04:50
Speaker 1: You have to write a bit for me and scary to do and act it out. I don't know, that's kind of sluster. And I already told you.

00:05:00
Speaker 9: You have to be.

00:05:02
Speaker 8: Paid to do an uncomfortable dinner party on Brooklyn Boys because I'm for it.

00:05:08
Speaker 10: Let me know the cost.

00:05:10
Speaker 1: No, we never said that. You never said that, not that you could afford me, But no, I never said that. Okay, I just you know I used to write them for the morning show.

00:05:17
Speaker 8: You now how we're always ragging on Scary about every single thing he ever does in his life and purchases. I just want to say, scary much Pops to you. No one believed you would be able to sell that couch, and you sold that couch. Yeah, freaking awesome man, great job.

00:05:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm the Brooklyn Boys. We'll talk about two other items right behind it. I'm trying to sell that or not moving. So we're gonna get.

00:05:43
Speaker 1: There, not going anywhere, going anywhere anytime.

00:05:45
Speaker 2: Soon because I want too much money for them. I mean, after all, I got to pay for my bus, durt and punch right.

00:05:53
Speaker 11: Working out upload you tuo uh for slights A three seven you take.

00:05:58
Speaker 10: I know I'm still super bhy.

00:05:59
Speaker 12: I'm trying to catch up, but TC from NC mentioned toes in the.

00:06:06
Speaker 13: Water as in the sand Zach Brown band. You guys missed it, Let's go.

00:06:12
Speaker 1: I said it. I said it on the Brooklyn Boys, and I said, we all know whose things at AGAUS. It was just one of those I missed it. I don't know that all.

00:06:21
Speaker 13: Right, Kelly Brody, you're the best.

00:06:27
Speaker 1: Thank you if you dropped the talk back prematurely.

00:06:32
Speaker 14: Brooklyn Boys, Steve from Queens. I'm responding this like time three and one again. First, I apologize for the double talkback. My app was having some issues. Second of all, I wanted to explain what I usually say. Is I address you guys as the Kings from Kings kind of compliment a reference to Brooklyn, Kings County, and I say it Steve from Queens. And I was so worried about multiple talkbacks. I guess I was speaking too fast. In fact, I'll leave one more.

00:07:01
Speaker 2: That's why Brooklyn is King's County. So with the Kings from Kings, I love that.

00:07:06
Speaker 1: Other Kings from Kings, I like that.

00:07:09
Speaker 14: An the questions I know about the jingles, I had said, I've been listening to old episodes. Have you ever been listening so far back as the uh the after show there that you had with baldfreek Ronnie and Greg T. So yeah, I'm aware of what the jingles are and I feel I hear the difference. So anyways, bring back the jingles. We appreciate you, guys. I have nothing to make fun of anybody about this weekend. Give it time.

00:07:33
Speaker 1: Thanks.

00:07:37
Speaker 9: He what's that? If you're a new listener, maybe you know, listener to some older episodes. We think you're missing great content. This is the fucking Brooklyn Boys podcast. People listen in order. That's what we do. We listen in order.

00:07:51
Speaker 10: If you're new, subscribe start at zero.

00:07:53
Speaker 3: Listen in order.

00:07:55
Speaker 10: Brody, thank you, shame on you know better.

00:07:58
Speaker 1: I got I got sauce soft, get sauce. Get sauce. I was, yeah, I could love sauce. I got the other night. Know what it is. When we were at episode one hundred, I felt very cavalier, ballsy. Right go ahead, I listened from zero. We'red three eighty what two now? But coming up to three eighty three, I mean, it's going to take people to go back to zero. I feel like they should. Yeah, but it's gonna take them a couple of years to catch up a couple. Yeah, well, unless you're one of our maniac listeners who finishes like, oh I drive a truck, I listen all three hundred and like a week and a half. Okay, hey for.

00:08:32
Speaker 15: The boys, Jamie for Lueen's.

00:08:33
Speaker 10: Here, scary.

00:08:36
Speaker 15: You were talking about the.

00:08:37
Speaker 16: Baby shower that you couldn't attend. I think sending a gift even when you can't attend is very nice, especially if you're close to the people celebrating.

00:08:46
Speaker 15: It's kind of like saying thank you for thinking of me. Here's a gift.

00:08:51
Speaker 17: When my childhood friend got married to years ago, my dad and I were invited but couldn't make it for various reasons, so we sent a check and to thank you.

00:09:01
Speaker 1: That's so nice of you. It's very nice. Absolutely. Is there a statute of limitations on that? Well?

00:09:08
Speaker 2: Funny you mentioned that I have invited to a wedding two and a half years ago that I didn't go to, and I feel like I owed her a gift, but I haven't sent one yet.

00:09:24
Speaker 1: Is the time has the time passed? I mean she might be let me ask you, she might be divorced before she gets well, let me ask you this. I was invited to a wedding I want to say about seven years ago, and I couldn't go. It just wasn't feasible to go. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I couldn't go. And because I didn't go, it wasn't top of mind to send a gift. And then that person came in while we were recording a morning show podcast, I think, and was like, oh yeah, and then someone's like, oh, hey, by the way, I haven't sent you a gift because I didn't have a chance, but I'm going on I wasn't the wedding, and then and then I said, oh, yeah, yeah, same because at that point I had the intention of sending a gift, but then I forgot because I had nothing to remind me that I had gone to the weddings. They didn't go to the wedding, and it was like six months later I remembered I hadn't. That's too late at that point, right, yeah, at that point, yeah, yeah, I think he still holds a grudge though. I think in the back of his mind he's like that I got didn't say, Hey, I fuck that guy.

00:10:23
Speaker 15: Jamie from Green's Against Scary.

00:10:27
Speaker 16: That baby registry from your friend is absolute fucking Lily insane, No way, But I will give you some advice. You can get from places like Build a Bear and Not a Sponsor and probably other places. The baby's name, birthday, whatever stitched onto a stuffed animal, and you can give that as a gift.

00:10:44
Speaker 1: I could.

00:10:44
Speaker 15: It's not very expensive at Build a Bear.

00:10:46
Speaker 17: I don't know about other places, and that's something that the baby can hold on to as they get older and they won't outgrow like a nine hundred dollars fucking jack.

00:10:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm with you on that, Jamie.

00:10:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it was ludicrous load of Chris, but uh you know that. Listen, when when you're friends with Taylor Swift, you can afford to put a baby registry up because I'm guaranteed no.

00:11:12
Speaker 1: He can afford it. Then he can afford it. I mean some of his friends can afford it. Right, what he can afford, well, he could put a baby registry up like that when some of his friends are Taylor Swift like literally literally Taylor Swift like literally literally Jamie.

00:11:26
Speaker 16: And Queens, one last time, Scary have a question about the bougie baby registry.

00:11:32
Speaker 1: Are you sure that your decorator doesn't work for these people?

00:11:36
Speaker 17: Maybe them to put all this expensive shit off baby registry, just like she convinced you to get the Buster and Keaton or Buster and rhymes.

00:11:44
Speaker 1: With Buster rhymes.

00:11:46
Speaker 17: Maybe that's why they want a twelve hundred dollars crib or a nine hundred dollars jacket or whatever.

00:11:52
Speaker 1: The jokes are endless. I love it. Yeah. I was surprised they didn't see Buster and punch on there. Okay, No, you know what though, I still gotta come over hous and see those bust to Hymen lights, Buster Hymen, the Buster Browns, the punt Goodbye.

00:12:11
Speaker 15: The Glen Boys Podcast.

00:12:14
Speaker 1: We will be right back, all right, let's uh we're making our way downtown. Oh all right, all right, Vanessa Carlton. Uh but I interrupted before by a talkback, which is always okay.

00:12:29
Speaker 3: Uh.

00:12:29
Speaker 1: I spoke to the Jersey Kid last week. You did? Yeah? Well, I was texting. Okay, you know the Jersey Kid. You know what he writes text messages? Oh yeah, they're paragraphs. I was like, hey man, how's it going. I had like nine paragraphs back. But it was awesome. We had a great conversation.

00:12:46
Speaker 2: So loaded common let's a loaded that's a that is a loaded question. When you ask him how he's doing.

00:12:53
Speaker 1: Just yeah, well it was all good, but it was you know, and I talked to you, I got I got a phone call from Garrett today, from the Big Garrett, A nice, very very nice conversation about pizza and whatever. Scary Brody be Scary Seed from the Bronx one. That was okay. I've been nice for a while, but this one, I can't.

00:13:14
Speaker 13: I can't.

00:13:15
Speaker 8: No the jingle.

00:13:19
Speaker 18: I'm so sick here about the jingle. Body, you need money so bad, go get it a part time. I'm kidding body, that's the money part. But fuck the jingle. I'm not sick here about the jingle and the fucking jingle that's all love you both.

00:13:35
Speaker 1: He doesn't want the jingles, he doesn't care. It's it's not just jingle, it's jingles. It's all the the his artist ideas and a lot of stuff.

00:13:44
Speaker 13: Okay, Hey, guys, many from Proople.

00:13:49
Speaker 11: Talking about that that soccer match between Argentina and UH and England.

00:13:55
Speaker 19: Uh.

00:13:56
Speaker 11: It was a good match. England should have one. You're right, they did fall back on defense. But the whole fucking World Cup not in the sense that it's rigged like it's a script. But if you saw even at the end the the FIFA president was celebrating the Argentina win, which that's a person that should be neutral.

00:14:23
Speaker 1: That's number one.

00:14:24
Speaker 11: Number two, if you watch the match, the president Messi is like a lebron He's a fucking flopper. I mean, he is the best in the sport right now.

00:14:33
Speaker 1: Oh him and Ronald though.

00:14:35
Speaker 11: I'd say, but throughout this whole thing, he fucking handballs. It didn't call on him. He yells at the refs and they overturn call.

00:14:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, the FIFA president was partying with Argentina. That's hold on. He's continuing here his thought.

00:14:51
Speaker 11: They overturned calls. It really is ridiculous. It's a it's a ship show with him. But you could see even at the halfway point, it's like he has a conversation with the UH with with the ref and all of a sudden the call start going more towards their way. And this isn't just a conspiracy. This is Watch a couple of games. You'll see even in the last game that Argentina won, he balks at the ref with the head. Sorry I know this is number four, but he balks at the ref and the ref. Oh no, no, there's no foul there or whatever, but there was. Even in the beginning of that game, you could see one of the English players got belling him, got an elbow to the back of the head, and nothing, not a call, not a foul, not a that should have been an automatic red card. But you know, it is what it is. Soccer has been known, fief has been known to favor teams throughout history.

00:15:51
Speaker 1: They have Well I'm not going to dispute that, but here's what I'm saying. We're not going to get too sports here on slice time. Every sport, well a lot of sports, to focus on the individual players. That's the way they treat the superstars. We talked about this during the Knicks Spurs series. When we threw the brunts into the ground, they're not gonna throw them out of the game. Michael Jordan's entire career, he never threw anybody in the ground, but he got he got less calls, of course, because ultimately it's about entertaining the masses. And if you take the star out of the game, people are gonna be pissed. Yes, the team against the Star is gonna be pissed. If you left them in, but they It's like it's like in baseball when you're when you're like a three thirty hitter, you known if I'm having a great eye at the plate, the umpire will sometimes defer like, oh, that guy didn't swing at that pitch. It was borderline. Probably wasn't a strike because they know the hitter had a great view of it, and if he didn't swing at it, I'm gonna give him benefit of doubt. Now the's like, you know, it's all computerizing. You could challenge it, but umpires are are listen. Also, when you're on the World Cup stage and Lionel Messi is like yelling at you, there's an intimidation factor. You've got the world screaming. So I don't think it's rigged. Clearly they lost. They didn't rig it that well, Nope, but every superstar is going to get a little bit of favor.

00:17:08
Speaker 20: So Scary Brody Brody Scary's Tea from the Barks over There, episode three eighty two. You're talking about going to DJ's on next Friday night for a fun time. How are you going to get there? The ferry was thrown out. You're going to drive there? Scary, but you want to get, you might want to drink. Scary, you are the king of Uber. You are the Kig of the ub r getting to the quizzers where you all sat uber over there.

00:17:39
Speaker 1: Very true, it's very Extrey spent his Uber money on light switches exactly.

00:17:43
Speaker 15: Hey, Brooklyn boys, it's Melissa.

00:17:46
Speaker 10: Long Island, Connecticut.

00:17:47
Speaker 21: I was listening to episode three eighteen and Brody or Scary was talking about when the last time anyone ever had chestnuts, and Brody you said that chestnuts were kind of meh, And it's true. I was in the city around Christmas time, I don't know what year it was, and I got chestnuts for the first time ever and they were as yeah, I don't think I get it again.

00:18:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it's It's like a it's a nineteen fifties snack, you know.

00:18:11
Speaker 1: You know what. It's a great it's a great song.

00:18:14
Speaker 13: Right.

00:18:15
Speaker 22: Uh.

00:18:15
Speaker 1: The song is Jess No, it's not the name of the song, but it Jess No, it's worth it's great. It sounds great, and they smell good and when you get them they're just dry. Yeah. Now, look, if you got for making you got a recipe for making chestnuts. You're like oh the way my grandma used to make them with send them in a different story.

00:18:33
Speaker 23: Yeah, all right, Hey, Brooklyn boys, is Maria from Union City?

00:18:37
Speaker 15: Happy Friday. It's Friday for me anyway. When I'm leaving them and I.

00:18:43
Speaker 4: Haven't listened to the latest episode and I'm halfway through the slice time, I just wanted to say that Brody is probably like, see.

00:18:50
Speaker 15: This is why I don't eat vegetables.

00:18:52
Speaker 4: This is why I don't need any green shit because of fucking parasites.

00:18:56
Speaker 1: Right, Brody, Right, Brody, you finally won one. The thing is, though I eat, I eat Romaine lettuce and iceberg lettuce. That's not you know. That's the real problem is the lettuce. But when I go to Taco bell, I wrote it without lettuce. So I'm safe, Brody and Scary.

00:19:16
Speaker 24: Queen Saint's a sequel here. So about the whole tattoo situation, Yeah, Scary, You're absolutely.

00:19:23
Speaker 1: Not wrong, buddy.

00:19:25
Speaker 24: Whether it's not right or wrong that you get judged, you still get judged. As a guy myself who's been in management positions in offices from multiple different companies, and I got like almost a full sleeve tattoo to every interview I always wear long sleeves, and I always work with a long sleeve for that reason.

00:19:45
Speaker 1: Okay, scary, don't let nobody.

00:19:46
Speaker 24: Make you feel bad about buying slip a hip switch on light panel switches and whatnot. Brother, if you want to be bougie and spend your money, by all means we're gonna bust your balls for it. But you and balls, all right, live.

00:20:01
Speaker 10: Your best life.

00:20:02
Speaker 25: Because ship.

00:20:03
Speaker 24: If I have that kind of money too, I'm not gonna lie.

00:20:05
Speaker 10: I would probably do the same thing.

00:20:07
Speaker 24: That's just what it is.

00:20:10
Speaker 1: Thank you. You know.

00:20:11
Speaker 2: It's the second person coming out on the side of the buster in the punch.

00:20:17
Speaker 24: And uh, me and Brody was like talking about this on Instagram. But I took the family into the city the other day, and uh, I was just trying to figure out what is the best pizza I can possibly try it right that I never tried before. So we went down to the West Village and got Mama's two ex square pepperoni pie and that was the best fucking pizza out of had in my life. God damn, I don't like they sprinkle cracking that ship.

00:20:45
Speaker 10: It was so good.

00:20:45
Speaker 2: You haven't had the industry or see, you know, there's a lot of other ones. No, Mama's two is my favorite. Right up there, right up there, Yes, Mama Mama's two. Industry is up the block. It's it's very close.

00:20:56
Speaker 1: Yep, it's right around the block.

00:20:58
Speaker 23: Okay, Okay, who hey, Brooklyn Boyce is Maria from Union City? Okay, scary. I need to call you out on one of your ads, and I don't know. You can play the jingle if you want, Brody, but he does a Chipotle ad, right, is that the correct fast food chain that you're doing?

00:21:17
Speaker 15: The commercial for the fast food chain that we have never heard you say? Hey, I went to Chipotle. I love Chipotle. I don't know if I believe you're commercial scary.

00:21:28
Speaker 7: I don't know.

00:21:28
Speaker 1: I got to prove it.

00:21:31
Speaker 26: I have.

00:21:32
Speaker 1: I know for a fact that's scary is Chipotle? I have absolutely.

00:21:35
Speaker 2: I just don't talk about it. And if I talked about it on this podcast, Brody's gonna make me hit the fucking jingle, so I'm gonna refrain.

00:21:42
Speaker 15: Thanks, baby boys, Okay, let me play this for you.

00:21:50
Speaker 1: It's only one call away. Charlie po.

00:21:53
Speaker 15: No, it's not Charlie Pooh. Please tell me you know this song. I know you do, please me. You know it is Chingy.

00:22:01
Speaker 1: Come on, well it's Charlie Pooth as well.

00:22:05
Speaker 2: Don't discredit me, but maybe Chingy had a less version, a less popular version of it.

00:22:11
Speaker 1: Two thousand and three. Yeah, all right, that was gets a point for that.

00:22:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, all right, we're cool with that. But just know that we didn't miss one. Charlie Pooth had the more popular version of that title.

00:22:25
Speaker 27: Uh oh yeah, as if you won't stop with me and you was mob baby.

00:22:35
Speaker 1: Okay, there's the example of it. Thanks.

00:22:37
Speaker 28: Oh my god, I'm sorry.

00:22:39
Speaker 1: I don't apologize. We love audioce you.

00:22:41
Speaker 27: Get too excited when Scary said one call away.

00:22:44
Speaker 15: Oh my god, I had to do the fucking math.

00:22:46
Speaker 27: That song came out in two thousand and three, twenty twenty six minus two thousand and three, twenty three years ago.

00:22:53
Speaker 10: Damn, what a throwback. Please tell me you know that song.

00:22:57
Speaker 2: I don't Chingy. I know right there. I love it when you do it right there there. That's the pretty much that one. There was one other song, but not that one. All right, that's not in my wheelhouse. We didn't play it on the on our show, so it's.

00:23:11
Speaker 1: Okay, all right, allus forgiven, Sary and Rodie. Wait a minute before the commercial break, you said always forgiven. She's got to forgive us. Well, what do you mean always forgiven? You can't forgive our Yeah I did, Yeah, we forget. We forgave her for for us. She pointed out that we got the song jumping on us, and oh, yes, we forgive her for a Yeah.

00:23:33
Speaker 2: We forgive her for jumping all over us, forgetting the song wrong. It was right to begin with. So she was misinformed, but we didn't know chingy, So I mean, what does it say about us? Oh that were a couple of white boys from Brooklyn got it?

00:23:47
Speaker 1: None. Well, she's not a white boy from Brooklyn. She's Maria from you know.

00:23:53
Speaker 15: Okay, please don't kill me for another talk back?

00:23:56
Speaker 1: How many was that?

00:23:56
Speaker 15: I think this is for right?

00:23:57
Speaker 27: Anyway, that was where the shock is Asian Mike has anyone heard from him and an Aham of course?

00:24:03
Speaker 15: But yeah, the is uh boy.

00:24:07
Speaker 1: Doing shout outs over Slice time. By the way, Maria from Union City is m f U C M F M fuck, M fuck, Hey it's m fuck. I want to hear that.

00:24:23
Speaker 8: Easy way for you to see how many listeners and subscribers you have across all platforms in one place, or do you have to go to like every single app and add them money?

00:24:35
Speaker 1: No, we could see them all, baby, Yeah, where we where? The place where we upload to gives us the statistics.

00:24:43
Speaker 10: Reggie here, You guys are don't love the story.

00:24:46
Speaker 8: There was a women's basketball player for you sciences.

00:24:50
Speaker 10: She was a center. Her name was Taylor Ham.

00:24:53
Speaker 26: H A m M.

00:24:54
Speaker 1: I love it.

00:24:55
Speaker 10: And when they would come up and play against teams in New York, please tell me you call on a New York.

00:25:00
Speaker 8: Team guarding her told me like to get into her head, she would be whispering pork roll to her.

00:25:09
Speaker 1: Is that true? This girl's name is Taylor Ham. I'm I'm sure somebody did that without thinking. Sure that the.

00:25:18
Speaker 8: Girl Tailorham turned to her at one point and said, why does everyone keep saying that.

00:25:23
Speaker 1: She had no clue? What was that? Brody? Sounds it sounds twenty to thirty percent believable.

00:25:32
Speaker 10: Skylar from New Jersey.

00:25:34
Speaker 8: I had to call did you the storage center where I have a lot of my stuff and asked to switch to a smaller unit because it went.

00:25:47
Speaker 10: Just went up again. It's just getting too crazy.

00:25:49
Speaker 8: So I'm like can I get into a smaller one where to be cheaper And the man on the phone says, oh, I can just waive the increase.

00:26:00
Speaker 1: Wow okay, yep. Sounds like the company that had my stuff in the storage unit when I used to have my stuff.

00:26:05
Speaker 2: They didn't want to They didn't want to lose the business, but they didn't want it's automated.

00:26:09
Speaker 1: Allegedly, it's automated that after certain like six months, eight months, it automatically gives you a huge increase. So then the manager will see his the thing. If they're undersold and they have like you know, forty empty units, they don't want you to leave. Of course they're the lower the rate. If they're sold out and they're packed, they're like they got somebody waiting. You're out.

00:26:25
Speaker 15: Yeah, I said, what's that?

00:26:30
Speaker 8: He said, I could just wave it so it doesn't go up. Are wes here like for real? Like he's like, yeah, okay, so all rates is just be us.

00:26:41
Speaker 9: It's just me.

00:26:42
Speaker 10: I'll just I'll just initiate that. I'll just you just won't pay more.

00:26:46
Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, everything's negotiable.

00:26:48
Speaker 8: I'm just like, now I'm wondering how much law warre should I be trying to get this.

00:26:51
Speaker 1: Well, there isn't a hard call.

00:26:53
Speaker 10: I had, Reggie, because if she called, they paid.

00:26:56
Speaker 2: Thank you, Skyler. Okay, well I'll say this. You know, if something like a rental of something is negotiable because there's no hard costs associated with it, so they can slide up and down.

00:27:11
Speaker 13: Yeah.

00:27:11
Speaker 2: No, but you know, it's like a hotel room trying to bargain for it. It's gonna go empty anyway. You might as well just make some money.

00:27:19
Speaker 1: Hotel room is different though, because they have to pay staff and have to pay you know the story. Yeah, but they're paying for electricity and rent. It's not like.

00:27:27
Speaker 2: You're asking for a physical item that has a hard cost to it, and that there's a basement of how low they can go before they start to stop losing profit.

00:27:38
Speaker 1: They start losing profit rather Okay, all right, I.

00:27:41
Speaker 22: Digress Lizzie from Staten Island talking about judging by if you have.

00:27:47
Speaker 15: Tattoos or not.

00:27:48
Speaker 22: I'm in the military, and honestly, whenever a soldier tells me they don't have a tattoo, I'm shocked because I feel like ninety six percent of us are either tatted sleeves fully tatted, just no hands, necker face. So when a soldier, especially someone who's been in for a while, because tattoos overseas are very very cheap, tell me no tattoos, I'm very shocked.

00:28:13
Speaker 1: Really okay, I just know that it's a high number.

00:28:18
Speaker 15: Hey bie boys, it's rough.

00:28:19
Speaker 1: Gut rip god.

00:28:21
Speaker 27: My three talkbacks were about a song. Am I allowed to leave another one? It's really important, it's about the tattoo conversation. So I'm I had only tattooed, and granted I do wear scrubs to work, so you don't see like my full back piece and my legs tattooed. But I do wear long sleeve shirts under my scrubs so that you don't see my sleeves, because I do see the way that patients look, so I do see the judge she looks. But this is why everyone was telling scary like okay, Boomer, because the only judgy looks I get when I'm not covered up up is from middle aged slash older people. I also don't give a fuck, and neither do my dentists that I work for, Like, no one cares, So sometimes I don't work long slaves, especially in the summer, but yeah, I people who are tattooed don't give a fuck. But I see how people look at me, and I.

00:29:17
Speaker 8: Don't give a fuck.

00:29:18
Speaker 1: Good said, as you should should not give me the type that don't give a fuck exactly, and so it works out just fine. It's a marriage made in heaven.

00:29:26
Speaker 15: Hey, Brooklyn boys, is Maria from Union City? Again?

00:29:30
Speaker 4: Really, thank you for clearing up the Sprinkles versus Jimmy's debate, because you know, I am from here North Jersey, Union City. Uh, that ship has been sprinkles my entire life. And then Chay, by the ways, I no, that's Jimmy's. I'm like, what the fuck is a Jimmy? No, that's Sprinkles, sir, Sprinkles, thank.

00:29:57
Speaker 1: You, and it's also a better snipper name. Yeah, ever, blessed you the child.

00:30:01
Speaker 8: Please don't get me the five hundred dollars piggy bank.

00:30:05
Speaker 10: Give me five hundred dollars.

00:30:06
Speaker 8: I will make a piggy bank out of a tin can and then put.

00:30:10
Speaker 1: The five hundred in it.

00:30:11
Speaker 19: Duly noted Queen's Dave the sequel here. Okay, okay, this is talkback number four, not five. I know the rules, but in regards to your friend's baby shower thing Mitigi your registry. Yes, some of those things are pretty crazy, but some of them makes sense. Like my kids cards seats are like seven hundred bucks a pop and I have two of them. My stroller for them is like fifteen hundred. So some of those things are just a bible, and then some is just ridiculous.

00:30:42
Speaker 1: Damn, tell me again why I should have had kids. You wouldn't have light switches? Right?

00:30:48
Speaker 8: Who orders five people? He says at ten in the morning. Schools our first lunch period is at eleven am.

00:30:57
Speaker 1: So I you checking out the girl on pizza hut Okay, no context there.

00:31:04
Speaker 29: Forgot about her play Ohio out and the rain can forget busser and punch. I'm telling you I was. I just put an acquation in it for them. All of a sudden, there's a whole new ripoff monopoly.

00:31:22
Speaker 30: Damn, I'm gonna get into this child toys and ship I mean.

00:31:28
Speaker 1: Rocket chairs and all that crap.

00:31:30
Speaker 30: It's fun darting people are fucking retiring copying again.

00:31:36
Speaker 7: So Donados from Ohio and Upper Unton we uh we worked Donados, So we have contracts with schools around the area. Okay, and then half off prices and stuff like that, and over the holidays and stuff.

00:31:54
Speaker 1: So we do all that, but I don't like their dough.

00:31:57
Speaker 30: I don't care for it because it's not it's not natural dough, it's factory dot.

00:32:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm with you. By the way, he was in the pouring rain, sound like a hailstorm. It sounded like he was getting shot with BB guns like bullets up here.

00:32:15
Speaker 13: Who the hell made that registry for your friend's baby shower? Did? Did they hire Lorraina for that one? My god, ridiculous registry. As far as i'm those people are.

00:32:27
Speaker 31: Screw them. I wouldn't get a single thing off of that registry. I said, you know what, here's a stick of gum seal later?

00:32:34
Speaker 13: Was that a goodness you?

00:32:36
Speaker 1: Where'd that bell come from? Brody?

00:32:37
Speaker 15: Oh?

00:32:38
Speaker 1: I so uh. I do a couple of the podcasts, you know, I told you to a Marbile one, and the host of that one, I'm at the host, the main host. Whenever I say something that's a very funny punt of like a singer hit the bell like it said, we're like, oh, you get credit. So sometimes I would say something hilarious and you just give me a look like you can't be serious, and I'd be like, I want the bell. He's like, you're not getting the bell. So I got my own bell. So now I say something hilarious and I look at him and does you hit bell? I get my own bell. I love it all right. I also hold on, hold on, I also have I have that one, and I have hold on, I have that one. I'm like an old eighties z Morning Zoo. Yeah, I still have those. At the big show, we got bells all kinds of used to have a scary used to keep a cardboard box full of bells and noise and yeah, but it's not under the counter like it used to be scary with let go oh hold on And he would go into the counter and go and he's like, I have all kinds of noise. Maybe you can come and go help us. I'm ready. I have a cow bell.

00:33:39
Speaker 32: Now.

00:33:39
Speaker 1: The cow bell is the best. A mini cow bell. That's awesome. It is it enough cow bell? Do you need more cowb You always need more cow bell? This always room for more cow bell.

00:33:48
Speaker 13: Yeah, nder the topic at the tattoos.

00:33:50
Speaker 31: I'm not shocked at the people with the mentality of I don't want to work in a place where people judge me because I have to. Tattoos are also the same people that claim they don't get paid, they can't find a job where they don't move up in their career because their employer doesn't want to hire an arts and craft project that looks like it was made by a three year old and painted every single possible object on.

00:34:12
Speaker 13: Then they could fine.

00:34:13
Speaker 1: Okay, that's yesthetical.

00:34:16
Speaker 31: Personally, I don't have a problem with tattoos. I don't have any myself, nor do I have any piercings. I just turned thirty four last week. But I agree with these scary people do judge people with tattoos, and I think for good reasons. We get judged every single day, and we make judgments every single day. And unfortunately for you, you do work with people that are very politically correct and are afraid to offend pretty much anybody for any reason whatsoever. So that's where I think you got all the craft from.

00:34:47
Speaker 1: Probably in defense of the people that gave them crap. Well, they have to defend the other side. Yeah, we have to be fair and balanced. Right If everybody on the morning shows like, yeah, tattoos welcome. If your audience is tattooed, I'm I mean, could be higher. You have to have various opinions otherwise it's a you know, it's a lecture rather than the morning show. That being said, it's always fun to pick on scary.

00:35:09
Speaker 31: So as for the septum rank you now, it's at this point it's a universal sign that you're insane. It's always some blue haired crazy girl with the septum ring that's spouting off some insane conspiracies on YouTube or something. Never trust someone with that. I'll keep that short and sweet, thank you. Other than that, take care boys, We'll talk to you next week. I won't leave a fifth talk back. I don't want to get played over. Take care guy.

00:35:33
Speaker 1: So, by, have you noticed that whenever somebody wants to like refer to someone as freaky or weird, they always goes some blue head girl, it's always blue. Why not green or purple? That's a great question, pink what Why is blue the worst? Blue is the worst? Now? Blue? I don't know why I go toward purple. I think purple is a little more outlandish than blue. Yeah, but blue is more common of the chaos of natural redheads. No, all right, I have a lot of those in my families.

00:36:05
Speaker 33: Angel from California, thank you for the shout out. Shout out to Rifka. Rifka is crushing it with the song game. Keep doing you girl. By the way, Brad Pleasley crushing it.

00:36:17
Speaker 1: You can't, you can't. You can't call up for this name game yourself. Yeah, well we do it all the time, but that's us. It's our podcast. That was very good. Now all the way, Angel from.

00:36:28
Speaker 33: San Diego said, can't get it out of my head? Scary, said Kylie Minogue. Scarce said twice body agreed, it can't get you out of my head. So I didn't talk back. You guys said, no, it has to be exact. It has to be exact. That's not exactly. You're right, you're right, can't get it out of my head.

00:36:47
Speaker 2: No, it can't get you Okay, okay, okay, he got us on a technically a technicality.

00:36:52
Speaker 1: Bro, he's right. Listen, if we're playing the game, we got to play the game. He's right, exactly. Food is wrong, Brude, he's wrong.

00:37:01
Speaker 15: He's all he's wrong.

00:37:03
Speaker 1: He likes you and Oie, I'll are wrong. I'm sorry you don't mind.

00:37:10
Speaker 2: Whoops, you gut, I miscount you miscounted because that was number four.

00:37:20
Speaker 1: I was gonna let him go. All right, take that back, Brodie, take it back. I take it. It's back.

00:37:27
Speaker 33: And Ollie, all are wrong about shotguns and beers according to George Kittle. Anyway, there's that show Quarterback on Netflix. They did one Receiver and George Kittle's on it and he shotguns a beer on the show on Netflix and he's well over your age. Strange for that. So I'd like to see y'all y'all tell George Kittle he can't do that. And Rock and Steve that sheets thing with the dollars seventy seven, guess that hasn't been since twenty twenty three. Brouck, you talk about.

00:37:55
Speaker 1: Bro calling out Rock and Steve there over there there all right, Hey, god that's going on. It's me the old cow boy chuck out one more time.

00:38:09
Speaker 5: Yes, sirree Barbarino.

00:38:10
Speaker 1: Whoa?

00:38:11
Speaker 5: You know what's good it concerning that baby shower that you're not going to? You know, well, first of all, what man goes to a baby shower?

00:38:20
Speaker 1: Hold on women?

00:38:21
Speaker 5: Oh yeah, you use a person? Okay, yeah, I forget that scratch that remark there. Anyway, you know, if you're not going, I don't see why you should have to send a gift, you know. Yeah, you're molding these people into biting people that they know are not gonna go, and then they're still gonna get a gift. All they do is buy a bunch of goddamn invitations to start sending them out all over the world, and then they get a million gifts. That the hell with that shit. We need to put a stop to that crap, you know, And the baby shower should only be for for women.

00:38:55
Speaker 1: And uh okay, I guess men with purses.

00:38:58
Speaker 5: That's fine, okay, but anyway, you know, don't send the gift.

00:39:01
Speaker 1: Stop that crap. That's a stereotype if I ever heard.

00:39:05
Speaker 8: Yeah wellness chuck scary. Don't do a wellness chuck of Brody. Just invite him to do something with you like and to im making excuses about you don't Joe with my friends. Why don't you just invite Brody out? If you're so concerned, just hang out with Brody?

00:39:20
Speaker 10: What is that?

00:39:21
Speaker 1: Ting a lot tsking a lot? I get it, you are a lot, You're a handy.

00:39:25
Speaker 5: Yeah, but I know you're not gonna take mad mass. You're just gonna keep on doing it and it's gonna keep on going on forever because you you you boogie fucks, you're all the same. But anyway, you know, if you're gonna send the gift, you know, ask a gift. You know, since we've been on the subject gear for a couple of months now, on the bustering months thing, U get to the kid a bustering monthsnight, that that'd be a great gift. You know, maybe Lorena's got one left over from the other people she scammed.

00:39:54
Speaker 1: You know, uh, check it out. Man, What are you all crushing Lorena like that for? You know, I think she's like, she's got to be enemy number one for this podcast. She must be, don't you think? If we would do a new merchandise for the Brooklyn Boys available at Brooklyn Boys dot big hotail dot com, I would do a Cundule lorraina T shirt but crunching munch. I would do some kind of yeah Lorena T shirt about Harbin. I would say, Hi, I'm Loraina, buy this shirt.

00:40:29
Speaker 10: I m together on Instagram.

00:40:32
Speaker 8: And your last one the taco taking the tram to a taco scary?

00:40:37
Speaker 10: Come on?

00:40:39
Speaker 1: All right, thanks, all right, thank you. Hi guys.

00:40:42
Speaker 34: This is Carl.

00:40:44
Speaker 1: What up?

00:40:44
Speaker 10: Carl.

00:40:45
Speaker 1: I live in Delaware.

00:40:46
Speaker 34: I'm from New York. I work in retail, and I have to tell you we just have compliance training. I work for Bloomingdale's outlet under the Macy's. I know they're a partner of the Elvis Duranto, and we cannot put anything on sale unless there are a significant number of people who can participate. And this story did not do that.

00:41:12
Speaker 1: I don't know if I understood what he said. I don't know how that relates to the fact they had a wall of stuff on the wall that wasn't on sale, but it was under a clearance sign. I did post a picture on my Instagram account, Okay, I posted as a story, all right, but.

00:41:24
Speaker 2: What did What did he mean by that they can't they all have to participate or they all have to not participate.

00:41:30
Speaker 1: I don't know, and I don't I don't know if it must be a rule, like a majority rules kind of thing. I guess for sales. I don't know what he was saying. I've been I've been in I worked in retail for for years and never I don't know what he's talking about called back and explain it all right, goodbye. It's very dismissive of you, Brodie. This is he is already gone. He's already gone. He's a slice gone. Oh gone.

00:41:55
Speaker 35: Yeah, hey, doing just comment on the tattoos. I actually have used to have a dentist that he both of his arms. He had two slaving sleeves, both arms covered in tattoos. And I currently have my kid's pediatrician. He has a sleeve where his whole arm is covered in tattoos.

00:42:20
Speaker 1: Only when you have a doctor with your I don't.

00:42:23
Speaker 35: Think it affects anything at all really anymore. It's kind of part of the culture these days.

00:42:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, I know it is, but that wasn't my comment. My comment is people are secretly judging well if if the people who are doing the judging are not from the culture.

00:42:37
Speaker 35: YEA dealing with from iwa again, I also have tattoos on my arms, on my back, and I work in healthcare, long term health. Actually a lot of our nurses have tattoos, Our CNAs have tattoos. Actually our administrator right now has tattoos.

00:42:57
Speaker 1: So yeah, I don't.

00:42:58
Speaker 35: I guess maybe in some field it might, but I just don't see it anymore. When I was younger, it was more of a taboo thing, but I'm thirty four now and I just don't see it anymore.

00:43:08
Speaker 2: I guess he's also referring to the fact that we mentioned that potentially could affect your job, but uh no, Yeah, we're hearing from a lot of nurses and doctors and dentists that have tattoos, and maybe with that one, especially if you're a doctor or dentist, you're self employed.

00:43:24
Speaker 1: So let me ask you a question. Yeah. Yeah, Let's let's say you're on the operating table. The doctor's coming over to open you up. You can do some surgery. You know, you know he's not gu but you're not knocked out yet. And on his arm he's got like a murderer with a big bloody knife stabbing another body, like a scene from a horror movie. Okay, would that freak you out that this is the guy that's about to cut you open?

00:43:46
Speaker 13: Yeah?

00:43:46
Speaker 1: That might, right, So it's not the fact that he has a tattoo, it's what the tattoo is. Okay, So I think that you could go, well, might throw me off, all right, we'll be right back. It's the boy pod.

00:44:02
Speaker 2: Okay, here's a talk back from episode three eighty one. My mom bought me my best porno mag.

00:44:09
Speaker 1: What do you got to Brooky? Oh, it's Jame's Miami episode three eighty one.

00:44:16
Speaker 36: Brody, he's trying to set it because he knows he's gonna get money out of it. Remember it's not weird Out, it's weird AI. He's on the trend. He's gonna make money off of it.

00:44:30
Speaker 1: Oh the magazine, Yeah, yep, marking out.

00:44:35
Speaker 12: Oklow, Joe Brody s carry talking about episode three seventy seven, And I'm gonna try to talk slow talking about Canada.

00:44:42
Speaker 13: And I do some sports betting, and I.

00:44:44
Speaker 12: Know Brody's gonna hate me for it, but I'm actually off. And I know the casino makes more money than I do, but I'm.

00:44:49
Speaker 26: Up on them.

00:44:50
Speaker 12: I had a sick fiveleg parlay baseball, and I cashed out because there was a man on second and third and then the guy and it was two outst scores on his first hit. Sorry didnt see how much you heard of that, but yeah, guy scores on the next hit. I fucked myself. I could have had another. I could have made six thousand, it said I.

00:45:11
Speaker 1: Only made eight hundred oof.

00:45:13
Speaker 10: My lesson in life, never cash out.

00:45:15
Speaker 35: Have faith.

00:45:16
Speaker 10: It's fucking scores.

00:45:17
Speaker 12: As you guys always say, anything can happen literally in your favor against your favor. I bet on soccer tides all the time, so many times far will take away a goal that saves me or give them a goal.

00:45:31
Speaker 1: Nobody knows he's talking about eight hundred and sixteen hundred dollars. That's like buster with a bunch of money. Yeah, but if you don't, if you don't cash out, you could also lose. By the way, speaking of betting on anything, did you see the story about the president's teleprompter guy. No, So the guy who works for the president for a very long time, he and puts the speech into the teleprompter. That's his job to make sure the teleprompter is loaded for the president's speeches. He was going on ca she and betting that the president would say certain words in his speech because he knew the words were coming. And he made one hundred thousand dollars and then they caught him. So, I mean, I give him credit for the cleverness of it, but it seems like you should tell somebody you know to make the bet. Not you make the bet in your name. You busted, you busted.

00:46:20
Speaker 26: In Brooklyn, boys, John your mailman from Long Island here coming to call scary out on some shenanigans that I figured Brodia would get a kick out of. Last week, one of scaries around the rooms was the story regarding him and his boys going out to dinner, parking ten feet away from fire hydrant and dealing.

00:46:40
Speaker 15: With a Karen.

00:46:40
Speaker 26: But he had stated that it happened the weekend prior to that around the room, when, as we all know, happened weeks ago.

00:46:47
Speaker 15: What's that about.

00:46:49
Speaker 1: That's minutia. It doesn't matter, it's radio.

00:46:52
Speaker 2: It doesn't change the story any and that's very being very particular. The audience doesn't know, nor do they care. Wonder why you didn't tell the story sooner exactly?

00:47:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, so sometimes just the irrelevant part of the story. Yeah, we just kind of bring it up. I say, I was at dunkin Donuts and I had a fight with a woman on Saturday. It could have been two saturdays ago.

00:47:13
Speaker 2: It could have been a month ago. It doesn't matter. It doesn't have any bearing on anyone because the story is accurate, which it is yeah. Yeah, because also Elvis would have been like, dude, White, why are you.

00:47:23
Speaker 1: Telling story now? Why don't you tell us before? Right? And they would have punched Scary in the back of the head. Would he have busted me?

00:47:31
Speaker 25: Yes, what kind of pizza plays asks which way you want your slice cut? Nobody cuts their slice horizontally, and you shouldn't be asking the customer if they want a knife before. Let them ask you if they're so inclined to do so. That's like asking would you like some busting nut lights switches? Or would you like some Brooklyn gray with your car? Or would you like some lime washed walls? Or would you like to wear immerse with that outfit? Or would you like some five gum with that podcast?

00:48:03
Speaker 1: Man, he's on it. I love it. That's it. I mean, you're you're right. Yeah, he did make one mistake. You don't know how the pizza is turned to say, don't cut it horizontally, you cut it vertically, because if the pizzas turned sideways, then vertically is horizontal. Horzonals vertically, it's the short way in a long way anyway. Yeah, nice rant, nice riff. That was very funny, And yeah, you're talking about of the gum. He filmed me and posted it on social media. Yes I did. We'll talk about that on Brooklyn Boys.

00:48:33
Speaker 30: Liam again, Hey, Buster and punch. Hey, that's out the window. It's now baby stuff. I'm going in that business. That's crazy from the window to the Buster punch.

00:48:46
Speaker 6: Ah, that's old that's back in the wind.

00:48:50
Speaker 1: Must have been the wind, old hat. It's old hat. Thank you so much.

00:48:54
Speaker 28: Liam E Britiant, the scariest Joe Infornia. He scary. When Elvis found that money? Is that what like one hundred and sixty dollars? You should have told him? Heck, Elvis, you could buy half of a Buster Point mixter light switch with that.

00:49:12
Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, so on the Big Show, Elvis, uh found one hundred and sixty dollars in cash. We should talk about this on the Brooklyn Boys. Let me think about that.

00:49:22
Speaker 1: What what what? Why is the why is the wealthy guy finding money? No, but it gets worse. It was gonna he was gonnae.

00:49:29
Speaker 2: He felt so bad he was going to give it to his doormat and said, if anybody claims this, tell them.

00:49:35
Speaker 1: You know, give it to them.

00:49:36
Speaker 2: But I'm like, no, I said, with anything else, Yes, but with cash.

00:49:40
Speaker 1: No cash is fucking anonymous. Cash gets lost easily held like no, he's gonna give it to his doormat.

00:49:48
Speaker 19: No.

00:49:49
Speaker 1: If you don't do that, you know what you tell your doorman, Hey, I found some money. If someone comes looking for money, tell him to call me. Done.

00:50:00

Speaker 32: And a half sleeve on the other forearm. And I don't give a fuck what people think about it.

00:50:19
Speaker 1: I mean, I don't them for me.

00:50:21

You know, I've seen people welding with face tattoos, half their heads shaved off, crazy piercings, all types of shit.
