Speaker 1: Brooklyn Boys Podcast Light Reactions.

00:00:13
Speaker 2: This podcast all depends on you, baby.

00:00:29
Speaker 3: Welcome to Brooklyn Boys Slice Time for episode three seventy nine and beyond.

00:00:35
Speaker 1: What's up. I'm Scary Jones.

00:00:38
Speaker 3: I'm David Brody. How are you scary?

00:00:39
Speaker 1: I'm doing fine. Today.

00:00:41
Speaker 3: It's a glum day in New York City. Glum glum. It's it's cloudy, it's rain in the area. This doesn't it does not feel like summer. Although when we recorded this, summer was just two days ago. You know, the solstice, longest day of the year. Summer wasn't two days ago, you mean the start of summer. Excuse the start of summer was two days ago, and make it sound like summer ended two days ago.

00:01:03
Speaker 1: Summer.

00:01:03
Speaker 3: Summer started two days ago. The thing that sucks worse is that every day gets shorter from here. That's pretty sad anyway, Yeah, truth anyway, this every day, every day you have one less day to live in your life.

00:01:16
Speaker 1: I know I hate that.

00:01:17
Speaker 3: And this is probably the best I'll look and feel all my life is right now. You're all gonna look worse tomorrow, for sure. Yeah, we all do all right? On that happy note. Uh, this is Slice Time this is the type of fodder you'd hear on the Brooklyn Boys, but this isn't the Brooklyn Boys.

00:01:33
Speaker 1: So we just sidetracked ourselves.

00:01:35
Speaker 3: And speaking of fodder, Happy Fodder's Day, everybody, Hey, happy belated Father's Day.

00:01:40
Speaker 1: Yeah. So uh yeah.

00:01:42
Speaker 3: If this is the show about the show.

00:01:43
Speaker 1: This is not. Yeah, this is the show about the other the other episodes that you might have.

00:01:46
Speaker 3: Heard, where you are listeners who we call slices, get to leave your feedback about things we talked about in other remembering what we talked about and giving your feedback on that specific stuff we talked about exactly. So yeah, if none of this makes sense to you, that means you didn't listen to the episode, the main episode.

00:02:01
Speaker 1: This is just this belongs to you. This is for the people, by the people.

00:02:05
Speaker 3: And remember, because of hard drive well actually not hard drive space, but cloud storage, we are asking people politely to try to keep their talkbacks to four or less. Yeah, I prefer three or less, but Brodie's giving you an extra one.

00:02:19
Speaker 4: There.

00:02:20
Speaker 3: I'm a man of the people. I gotta keep pointing that out. All right, let's all right, let's do this. Thank you for your feedback, and the only way you can leave feedback is if you listen through the iHeartRadio app and click the microphone there. That's how these people got to where they are today. So here we are at the Morning the morning, Okay, scary Liam, here so scary? Oh Liam, you were in an Ellis Ran show.

00:02:48
Speaker 4: Wednesday the sixteenth and talking about what if you got fired at what job you wanted?

00:02:55
Speaker 1: Where? Do wine?

00:02:57
Speaker 4: Just do wine and travel all expenses paid for?

00:03:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, you make bank.

00:03:04
Speaker 4: I know people that have been new for thirty years do.

00:03:07
Speaker 3: Wine and travel.

00:03:09
Speaker 1: What does that mean? Wine and travel? But you know if a this mean.

00:03:14
Speaker 3: Have have win, have have wine, will travel, sell wine and work as a travel agent.

00:03:19
Speaker 1: What do you mean, Liam?

00:03:20
Speaker 2: No?

00:03:20
Speaker 1: I think that, Liam? Yeah? No, I mean yeah, I mean whatever.

00:03:26
Speaker 3: Whatever she's saying sounds like a great alternative to me. I'm in, Yes, scare you hate radio?

00:03:33
Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, you know who it is.

00:03:37
Speaker 6: Anyway, I'm listening to the most recent episode of Lifetime and I just got to say, the last minute and a half was the funniest shit in the world.

00:03:44
Speaker 7: Scary said Learn.

00:03:45
Speaker 1: Off the off air.

00:03:47
Speaker 6: That shit was fucking hilarious, and Brody's smooth as Hall just had to get that one last thing out, And for a second I thought you were being for real when you were like the team's of places. Two categories are scary, you can go fuck except I lost it. That shit made my morning anyway, it's seventy six degrees in here.

00:04:05
Speaker 8: Also, I would like to.

00:04:06
Speaker 5: Think all of the New York people who inspired the Canes fans.

00:04:12
Speaker 1: What was it Saturday night?

00:04:13
Speaker 6: Yeah, because the Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup.

00:04:18
Speaker 1: I don't I don't watch her, I don't watch hockey. But anyway, yeah, we were like, oh, light poles and shit too.

00:04:24
Speaker 5: We were trying to be like New York, but we just I don't even know if y'all heard any of that shit, cause somebody decided to beat the living fucking hell out of something in the middle of my talk back.

00:04:34
Speaker 1: But anyway, I hope y'all boys have a great weekend.

00:04:37
Speaker 8: Uh.

00:04:38
Speaker 1: I ain't really got nothing else to say.

00:04:41
Speaker 7: Have a good one, all right.

00:04:43
Speaker 3: Well, listen, South Carolina trying to be like New York. You know, we did talk about New York. One of the bad uh, the blemishes on the celebration was when they destroyed that school bus. And I'm wondering does South Carolina have school buses. I would say they do, all right, I would like to think so, I'm just joking with you.

00:05:04
Speaker 1: Say, I know you are, I know you are.

00:05:06
Speaker 3: You're going for a joke, But don't climb light poles if you want to emulate New York. There's so many good things to emulate and copy. Climbing light poles probably not like top ten.

00:05:17
Speaker 9: Jen the groomer here answering Reggie's question. If you're going to just have the nails cut, then you should probably tip whoever's cutting the nails at least maybe five bucks. If your dad's an asshole, there could be two people doing it, so maybe ten bucks. But if you're going for a bath or a groom the nails should already be included and should not have to pay extra for that. Well, this helps.

00:05:43
Speaker 3: Love you guys, and I love you too too.

00:05:46
Speaker 1: Thank you. Jen the groomer and the groomer, Jan the groomer.

00:05:51
Speaker 3: Can she click.

00:05:55
Speaker 10: Colorado again? Reason the one about the betting. It sounded like I was in an airplane. I work at a steel mill, so it's very hot as hell in here. Oh, we got fans going on, and that's what you heard in the back. But you asked if I was a high roller. I go no, but I do like the bet and I think the most I've ever bet was fifteen hundred dollars on the Super Bowl.

00:06:22
Speaker 1: Liam here, we didn't get to him. Yeah, so you want to comment on what he had to say or not really?

00:06:29
Speaker 3: Well, First of all, another reminder that we've been between our welder and a guy works in a steel mill. We have people on this Listeners podcast. Yeah, work for a living, they work hard, They work hard for a living, and you're complaining about going and working in radio and you'd go on a wine and cheese trip or whatever your suggestion was. Oh my god, I had to work four hours this morning. Oh my god. These guys are working in hot steel mills. Yeah, it makes you appreciative whatever you do that isn't working an hon and I'm glad you. By the way, the bet he was said, he bet thirteen fifteen, fifteen hundred dollars?

00:07:02
Speaker 1: Is that what he went? Said he won on a Super Bowl? Yeah, good for him.

00:07:05
Speaker 3: All right, Now, he didn't say he won, he said he gambled. He gambled. Oh yeah, but we don't know the outcome of that. No, all right, here's Liam there.

00:07:15
Speaker 4: Hey Brodie, I know you're not doing a lot of rants anymore. Kind of miss it you on top of that. Back in the day, it was it was the number one thing to come to. So I guess the old age home is relaxing you. Are they giving you meds to chill you out or something?

00:07:35
Speaker 1: Just let me know.

00:07:36
Speaker 4: Where's the pool there helping you out?

00:07:38
Speaker 3: I don't know, just let us know.

00:07:40
Speaker 1: Just just saying, oh, Bertie being pool cool in his pool. That's why he let me.

00:07:46
Speaker 3: Let me address that.

00:07:47
Speaker 7: Number one.

00:07:49
Speaker 3: I ranted about the woman at Staples just an episode ago, and I'm pretty sure I ranted about something last week. I remember correctly Scary played the music. I'm I'm happy that you guys are wishing misery on me, so I haven't want to rant about I'll continue and I don't know the music more. I think the more I tell you the music, the more you get ramped up. However, when when loyal listeners take a potshot at me for no reason and claim I live in an old age home when I'm not old, that may be something I'll rant about next episode of Brooklyn. Boys and Scary get the music ready for when I talk about Liam from Ohio.

00:08:25
Speaker 1: Okay, perfect? All right?

00:08:27
Speaker 11: What would be boys for an in it? And catching up on episode three seventy eight regarding Scary Leather Handles, So Brody, I'm just curious when you talk to your other friends or your other podcasts and you don't want to mention scary from here on out?

00:08:43
Speaker 8: Are you going to refer to him.

00:08:44
Speaker 11: As let's call him leather handles from here on out?

00:08:48
Speaker 1: I love you guys, keep it up.

00:08:51
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right. It like paper menu, I'll refer to you as leather leather handles. Okay, perfect. I like that idea. I'd rather be anonymous on any other podcast that you're on. It already leather handles than love handles, right, truth, Hey.

00:09:03
Speaker 12: Bioco boys, Jamie from Queen's Here here, you guys were talking about people lining up for.

00:09:08
Speaker 8: The rare Pokemon cards.

00:09:11
Speaker 12: I'm in the nerd community and play some of these trading card games, and yes, Pokemon is still very popular. They're still coming up with new stuff, new video games and all that. A lot of people play it still, and honestly, I'm not surprised by people lining up the night before for rare Pokemon cards.

00:09:31
Speaker 1: Okay, thank you, Jamie.

00:09:33
Speaker 8: Right, some of these.

00:09:34
Speaker 12: Rare Pokemon cards are worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

00:09:39
Speaker 8: I'm not kidding. I looked it up right before I recorded this.

00:09:44
Speaker 12: There is a super rare Pikachu card in Japanese that's worth sixteen and a half million dollars, no joke.

00:09:53
Speaker 8: You can look that up.

00:09:54
Speaker 12: So you get the right rare card in mint condition your set, you can buy a nice house and a nice car.

00:10:01
Speaker 8: Be set.

00:10:02
Speaker 3: You'd have to, I mean, that's intrinsic value. You'd have to sell it first. You'd have to find a buyer who wants to pay that money. So so it might be deemed worth that money, but can you find someone who will actually pay for it?

00:10:16
Speaker 1: I mean, there's only one Paul. What's going to be a Jake Paul in this world?

00:10:21
Speaker 3: Did Jake Paul or his brother Logan Paul who bought like that fucking Charmander card or some ship the most expensive you are the most expensive people who have billions of dollars throw money around some of them, But how do you connect with them?

00:10:33
Speaker 1: Where do you find them?

00:10:35
Speaker 3: Because? Okay, so I have a friend who I grew up with who only deals in very very very expensive comic books. All right, So if you want to buy or sell, let's say you're you have, you have, you have a lot of money, and you're like, you know what, I want to own a copy of Superman one or Action Comics one is I think was the first whatever that first appearance hold on. They know to reach out to my friend in the industry as someone who can put them in touch with people who own them, and then he is in touch with people who have that comic, so he puts them together. You don't go on eBay's card like that. I've been trying to sell my goddamn Garbage Pail Kid collection for twenty years and who nobody wants I haven't. I have an update for you, Tom. I spoke to a comic book store today and I asked them about the Garbage Pail Kid's stuff, And I said, what what percentage of retail do you give people bringing their merchandise in? He said, normally we give forty percent cash value of whatever the thing is worth, or fifty percent in store credit. So let's say your Garbage Pail Kid's worth a thousand dollars, I could get five hundred dollars in comic book store credit, well four hundred dollars cash. However, he said, if something is valuable and in good condition and we like it, it's negotiable what percentage of its total value we would offer you. So I will get the book from you next time I see you, yes, and I will bring it to them and a couple other ones in the area, and I will see what percentage of its actual value are people willing to pay. Now, if there's a card show where I can go where people are looking to buy that specific thing that you have, then I can probably get more. But I did speak to just today.

00:12:22
Speaker 1: Are awesome.

00:12:24
Speaker 3: That's an update live on the podcast. Thank you so much, David Brody. I appreciate you. And Brody, are you going to clean that up?

00:12:34
Speaker 1: Clean what up?

00:12:35
Speaker 3: Well, before we went to break, there was like three seconds of dead as it was hit the button.

00:12:39
Speaker 1: It was perfect.

00:12:40
Speaker 3: Oh so in another words, you're cleaning.

00:12:41
Speaker 1: No, I know you're talking about.

00:12:45
Speaker 3: I'm watching scary on camera and I was like, oh, you know, I'm moving on and he's just sort of like zoned out, like he got woken up and then he hit the button. No, I was right on top of it. That's what the listeners heard. Listeners slices. You didn't hear any any spaces there, right, right, must not edit.

00:13:03
Speaker 1: Happy Friday.

00:13:04
Speaker 13: The King's from King because again Steve from Queen's three seventy nine, Brody, we're ninety seconds and you're killing me lately, my friend ninety seconds. Then harass is scary about going to local listen us New Yorkers. We need to appreciate this. I know this is a national, international podcast. Name the addresses, name the buildings, other people, other places in the country.

00:13:25
Speaker 1: They're happy for us.

00:13:26
Speaker 13: Let's enjoy that locality for a hot second.

00:13:29
Speaker 1: Brody is wrong. I feel bad saying, you know.

00:13:31
Speaker 10: I'm not gonna say it.

00:13:32
Speaker 7: Brody is wrong.

00:13:32
Speaker 1: I'll say it. Brody is wrong.

00:13:35
Speaker 3: People are like the local references, okay, but they don't need to know about Joe's Bagels on third Avenage like you just sometimes you get two in the week.

00:13:44
Speaker 1: I get granular.

00:13:45
Speaker 3: It's okay, you get granular.

00:13:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Hey, guys, any from Brooklyn here show things.

00:13:51
Speaker 14: No. One, Brody.

00:13:53
Speaker 15: American flag blue is an actual color that you can get from war or Shervan Willings or whatever. That's number one that was specific blue for the American flag, that all American flag, official American flag shouldn't be.

00:14:07
Speaker 7: That's number one.

00:14:07
Speaker 15: Number two, there's a commercial on your thing that says about Vital Palm's pastures. The girl says pasture the first time, and then she says passed the rest of the times.

00:14:17
Speaker 7: I was like, what the heck?

00:14:20
Speaker 3: We don't know the commercials, but that's pretty fine.

00:14:23
Speaker 1: We don't hear them. Okay.

00:14:24
Speaker 3: So just to what Vinnie was referencing was seth Meyers did a bit that when the President wanted to paint the reflecting pool blue, he asked his painter, who's he's not. He's not He's not Benjamin Moore. He's just a guy who paints, right, he's this pool guy. He goes, oh, I've got blue. It's American flag blue.

00:14:43
Speaker 1: Dude.

00:14:43
Speaker 3: He didn't just happen to have American flag blue. When the President called him, what he said was, I've got blo yeah, American flag blow.

00:14:49
Speaker 11: Yeah.

00:14:49
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's what it is. And I made a joke of it. I wouldn't over analyze it. It may have been American flag. My point was probably wasn't the same way Scary got white paint and they called it Chantilly or whatever, chant Chilly Lake Brooklyn Gray.

00:15:05
Speaker 16: As always brody, he's scary. And there's a couple of friendly still around. There's one in Elmwood Park and Root. There's one in Clark I don't know what street, and I know another one in Morristown. Go get yourself a fucking fribble. They're fucking delicious.

00:15:24
Speaker 1: He knows.

00:15:24
Speaker 3: Okay, do it the fribbles. By the way, when somebody from Jersey tells you go get yourself a fucking fribble, that's fucking delicious, you go get one. I mean, yeah, no, I mean it's it's in the word fribbles. Making me a fribble makes me want to dribble. Somebody uh sent me a chicken palm from a place you've been to that I can't afford to go to. And then and the guy claims it's the best chicken palm, and he's like, we use the finest dish and the best dotah. All I know is the chicken palm is forty six dollars. It better be really good for forty six dollars. That's all I'm saying. There is a pizza place in Manhattan. It's the most one of the most difficult ones to get into. Dave Portnoy gave it like a nine point four. It's series Pizza C E R E. S. And you can't you can't get in there, you can't get near the place. And it's two guys from the old three Michelin Star restaurant eleven Madison Park, very famous restaurant.

00:16:23
Speaker 1: They came from there. I said, fuck it, we're leaving them. We're going We're going to make it a pizzaia.

00:16:27
Speaker 3: They sell a seventy two dollars pizza in there, and I hear it is out of control. They say, the way the tomatoes they get from it, the tomatoes you're watching, you're watching cars, the tomatoes that they get where they get them from, and the way the whole thing comes together.

00:16:51
Speaker 1: It's a sour dough pie. Whatever it is. It's they say it is. And they only make limited edition every day.

00:16:56
Speaker 3: Of course limited edition. You have gold flakes. Hey, did your right interior creator tell you to get one for the appontment?

00:17:01
Speaker 1: Yeah?

00:17:02
Speaker 3: Like like like she got tell me to get those buster and punch uh door switches.

00:17:08
Speaker 1: She won? So what I gotta go next?

00:17:13
Speaker 3: What what what on we'll talk about on the Brooklyn Boys? Is that why you had somebody who stoleing outlets for you yesterday? All day we couldn't podcast. Yes, the outlets, the outlets, I win, I went, I went on the outlets.

00:17:28
Speaker 1: But there's a there's a couple of.

00:17:29
Speaker 3: Key Uh did you get leather door handles? Not door handles? Now? You see the door handle right there? That that's looks like I'm walking into a fucking closet and an office building.

00:17:40
Speaker 1: Every single door, every.

00:17:41
Speaker 3: Single door in my every single door in my apartment looks like I'm walking into the fucking fucking broom closet of an office building. It's a piece of ship, but what a dump. But the light switches? My friend chef's kiss, Let's go? Did you do?

00:17:57
Speaker 7: Buster from South Central Pennsylvan.

00:18:03
Speaker 1: Talk Ethan.

00:18:05
Speaker 3: Your timing is bad, That's all I'm saying.

00:18:07
Speaker 1: What goodbye?

00:18:08
Speaker 7: Okay, Blue Brooklyn Boys?

00:18:10
Speaker 17: Ethan from South central Pennsylvania again and it's always Brodie and Scary Birdie.

00:18:15
Speaker 7: It occurred to me you missed a big opportunity.

00:18:17
Speaker 17: Here with Scary and the crazy amount of money he was throwing at his dad's party. You didn't need that other magician. You could have booked the Magnificent Murray and you could have pocketed some of.

00:18:28
Speaker 3: That magnificent may should have You got to pick a pocket two?

00:18:35
Speaker 1: Oh what play is that? From?

00:18:37
Speaker 7: What music?

00:18:39
Speaker 3: Oliver?

00:18:41
Speaker 1: All right? Sang by the character named the.

00:18:43
Speaker 3: Artful Dodger Vegan, very nice, Megan, the artful dog.

00:18:47
Speaker 1: Liam here.

00:18:48
Speaker 18: Yeah, so I worked at Friendlies when I was nineteen. This one place was in Gale, Mass Jesus. They shut down I'm after a bishing a plane that their food practices were not good. Then I got cussed out and fired for talking about it, and then they got shut down by other show goodness.

00:19:10
Speaker 1: So yeah, everything's deep fried anyway.

00:19:13
Speaker 3: Oh your food's deep fried. It's your fuck Friendlies man, not so friendly s cream deep fread is the ice cream deep fread gross? And yet if you see something, say something, especially when you have people's health in your hands.

00:19:27
Speaker 1: Thank you, Liam. I like that, liamb Here.

00:19:33
Speaker 4: Yeah, they gave the pizza guy one bike guy.

00:19:37
Speaker 14: He does two bits.

00:19:38
Speaker 1: He's kind of on an asshole. I mean, I've seen a lot of his videos. He is an asshole. Other a trucker. What's up?

00:19:45
Speaker 14: What's up?

00:19:45
Speaker 19: Drucker.

00:19:46
Speaker 1: Anyways, that's it.

00:19:48
Speaker 3: Yeah, have a good day, guy.

00:19:49
Speaker 1: Yeah, what is this?

00:19:51
Speaker 3: Who made this Boston guy a pizza authority to begin with? Listen, I give him credit for building his own body, He.

00:19:56
Speaker 1: Built his brand.

00:19:57
Speaker 3: Yet very smart guy, cocky son of a bitch, also has a soft side of him when he helped people during the pandemic.

00:20:04
Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, but I mean helps.

00:20:07
Speaker 3: All businesses lights to nine to eleven charities.

00:20:09
Speaker 1: You know who's a great judge of pizza?

00:20:11
Speaker 4: Me?

00:20:12
Speaker 1: You and me?

00:20:13
Speaker 3: We are anyone. That's the point. Any one of us can be that guy. But he did it right. He built an empire continuing on Liam By the way, that was I don't know if you're keeping score. I got keeping styars four four.

00:20:28
Speaker 20: Reggie here as an Instacart shopper deliverer. I don't recommend working out of the Walmart ever, it's like stepping into a third world country. Listen, any night you go, there's bad the people in the lawn chairs. That's the least of what's going on in this Walmart. Oh and local friendlies near the FDU in Madison.

00:20:53
Speaker 1: Great ice cream, Great ice cream.

00:20:56
Speaker 3: That was an opportunity to give us some great stories from Walmart.

00:20:59
Speaker 1: Yeah to hear that. I wanted to hear what's going on in the walmarts?

00:21:03
Speaker 20: Wow, Okay, I leave a talk fact saying great ice cream. Go back to the podcast just in time for Brody to tell me he found to use dirty napkin in it.

00:21:13
Speaker 1: Yep, right down at the bottom of his Friendly Sunday. It was nasty.

00:21:18
Speaker 3: It's gross.

00:21:20
Speaker 20: Do you spend thousands on a plant and.

00:21:24
Speaker 9: The leaf fell off?

00:21:26
Speaker 8: You better get a refund.

00:21:28
Speaker 21: Where's the free dessert?

00:21:30
Speaker 20: By the way, I know, I feel like I know, okay, but scary. Have you ever in your entire life owned a cat that you with a girlfriend?

00:21:43
Speaker 1: No, I don't know.

00:21:45
Speaker 3: I've always would date a girl.

00:21:47
Speaker 1: I know I've always wanted a cat. I don't. I just can't.

00:21:52
Speaker 3: When I said laws against scary on a cat, I.

00:21:54
Speaker 1: Can't afford one. No, I can't afford.

00:21:57
Speaker 3: You just spent three hundred dollars on a lights.

00:22:00
Speaker 1: I cannot afford.

00:22:03
Speaker 3: I cannot afford to have one here in my apartment, clawing up all my furniture, and then I don't have the time to put in to give it the love that it deserves.

00:22:11
Speaker 1: So I would rather I would rather just go without.

00:22:15
Speaker 3: Okay, can we just cut to the chase. Scary can't find a self feeding cat. That's apparently they Everyone will tell you cats take care of themselves. They clean themselves, they're self cleaning, they're self feeding that self. Yeah, they take themselves to the vet, all of it.

00:22:32
Speaker 8: Hey, broken boys? Is Maria Formeni City.

00:22:35
Speaker 22: I'm listening to latest talk back and Scary was talking about the guy that left to talk back, about the typical person that has the leather door handles and he had the big black whatever in his house.

00:22:47
Speaker 8: Right, that's all fine and well, and.

00:22:49
Speaker 22: Then someone else starts talking it was a commercial, y'all. Didn't let us know you were going to commercially Please let us know because I skip thirty every time.

00:22:58
Speaker 8: Thank you, love y'all.

00:22:59
Speaker 3: All right, well, you know, by the way, so I need I need a favor, all right there, and I'll bring this up on the Brooklyn Boys.

00:23:08
Speaker 1: You just said I need a favor? Yeah?

00:23:11
Speaker 3: Is that somebody I don't know?

00:23:11
Speaker 14: The song.

00:23:16
Speaker 1: Continue?

00:23:17
Speaker 3: If you are Maddie from the Bronx, right, or if you're Liam from Ohio, if you're Maddie from Queens when you message me on Instagram, I need you to use your talkback name so that when I get something from the right Maria, I know it's the Maria. Which one you are? Yeah, because I only I see your last name, your screen name, I don't know that you're the specific and do it like you know, every few times, so I don't you know. I want to make sure I respond properly. No, all right, how do you not know Jamie Saul when you see her? Well, Jamie I know, and Reggie I know. But this I have a lot of Maria's, A lot of Maria's Okay, Maria's okay, Santana, A lot of Maria's is Santana, Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria and Maria. All right, yeah, okay, goodbye. I once met a from Union May.

00:24:20
Speaker 22: So you didn't do the outro to go into the commercials or is that intro?

00:24:26
Speaker 1: I don't know.

00:24:26
Speaker 22: I don't know your labels. But then y'all came back and there was no hey, we're back.

00:24:33
Speaker 1: Uh, So I can explain.

00:24:35
Speaker 22: I was confused because the first commercial after you guys left sounded like a talkback, and then the talkback sounded.

00:24:41
Speaker 8: Like a commercial, but I knew it wasn't because it was cute, but.

00:24:45
Speaker 3: Maybe you better evacuate your house as there's a lot of fire and ems outside. Either that or evacuate the dance floor. Yeah, okay, cascata. So let me say this, it's gott fucked up. If we no, I didn't, if we I could put the amount of commercial breaks in there that we're supposed to put in.

00:25:04
Speaker 1: If I don't.

00:25:05
Speaker 3: Put enough in at iHeart and the AI and the algorithm sees it and says, whoa.

00:25:12
Speaker 1: Whoa, whoa. They've gone all this time without taking a commercial.

00:25:16
Speaker 3: We're gonna put one in there for them, so they will insert a commercial break. So if I say, oh, we're gonna do two or three commercial breaks, they may throw a fourth one in there because in their mind, the length of time that we did this podcast, it warranted another break. So whether I whether we make a decide to go to a break or not, they throw an extra what we call a marker in there, and they'll go to commercial break. So that's why they insert stuff against our wills without our permission.

00:25:48
Speaker 1: No lube.

00:25:49
Speaker 3: It's like when you're watching a snapchat or one of these videos or anywhere YouTube or it'll just Spotify, it will just cut right off.

00:25:56
Speaker 1: It'll cut your shit off. We at least don't do that.

00:25:59
Speaker 3: Who want my shit cut off? That's that's why we try and take the breaks where we need to, to maneuver them around and make them sound decent.

00:26:06
Speaker 1: But yeah, sorry that happened.

00:26:08
Speaker 3: Someone told someone else told me that they threw an extra commercial break in there for us, so we have that is post production and beyond our control. Yeah, I don't like that. Of course, it's extra money for us, so that's.

00:26:23
Speaker 1: Bertie hates it.

00:26:24
Speaker 3: I hate it, but I Bertie would go to commercial left every talk back if he could.

00:26:32
Speaker 1: Professional again.

00:26:35
Speaker 22: I know y'all heard all those sirens. I live on a street in Union City that on a main street. I don't want to say where, but that's where all the emergency vehicles drive by. So that's my background noise daily. I usually don't hear it, and I didn't hear it until I was replaying my talk back to make sure it sounded all right.

00:26:58
Speaker 8: Love y'all just wanted to make sure y'all didn't think I was dying.

00:27:01
Speaker 1: No, we're good.

00:27:02
Speaker 3: No, we thought we don't even notice, even though now we're going to take a planned commercial break because this is one of our choice that we chose to do it right here so we don't get in trouble.

00:27:15
Speaker 1: From iHeart management. Yeah, we're in charge. We're in charge of the Glen Boys podcast.

00:27:20
Speaker 10: We will be right back.

00:27:22
Speaker 3: See that was nice and neat. See hopefully you heard a commercial there. If not, well we're in dire straits and uh in need of revenue and.

00:27:29
Speaker 1: New salespeople because they're not selling airtime.

00:27:32
Speaker 3: But uh, I don't want to be in dire straits. I'd like to get some money for nothing.

00:27:36
Speaker 1: All right, Hi, oh, I see what you did there.

00:27:40
Speaker 22: Hey, Broklyn boys. This is Maria Union City again. I'm going to congratulate y'all on your nixt win. I'm not a basketball person and not a New York person. However, with that being said, y'all people are crazy. No matter what ship went down in New York and y'all still talking about Philadelphia.

00:28:02
Speaker 8: What the fuck?

00:28:03
Speaker 6: Man?

00:28:03
Speaker 14: What the fuck?

00:28:05
Speaker 8: Anyway, I was.

00:28:05
Speaker 22: In New York yesterday. There is still residual Knicks fans ship on the ground.

00:28:10
Speaker 1: Okay, thank you, love you. That was for by the way, from Maria.

00:28:15
Speaker 22: Hey again, I know, don't cut me off. I many comebacks anyway, Carrie.

00:28:22
Speaker 8: Leather door handles?

00:28:23
Speaker 22: Do you know that I just didn't buy leather gloves because I don't like.

00:28:29
Speaker 4: Out.

00:28:30
Speaker 1: I don't know what you're talking about. No, put it back on.

00:28:34
Speaker 3: She's she's fine. Oh yeah, she had a call up because one of them was an apology one about the siren. Okay, you don't waste your talk back time. People are frivolous stuff.

00:28:44
Speaker 8: Hold on, here we go, let's put leather door handles.

00:28:46
Speaker 22: Do you know that I just didn't buy leather gloves because I don't like how achy leather looks after a while, because it gets all greasy looking, and then the Greek because of the grease that it normally tests, it looks dirty and nasty.

00:29:02
Speaker 8: Yeah, good, good job. I'm not going for that.

00:29:06
Speaker 1: Goodbye, Thank you appreciate it. Yeah, no, no, no, no, the door handles for me? What the are you playing, Bronie?

00:29:13
Speaker 3: What is that gunshots sound effect?

00:29:16
Speaker 1: Obviously? But what was that other? What is that lasso?

00:29:22
Speaker 3: It was the it was the company that makes the sound effects that the logo.

00:29:27
Speaker 4: From.

00:29:29
Speaker 8: Okay, I'm sorry, too many talk backs.

00:29:31
Speaker 1: You're not sorry, sorry.

00:29:37
Speaker 3: You got.

00:29:48
Speaker 1: Maria. Come on, respect the rules, Respect the.

00:29:51
Speaker 14: Rules and souls, Bronie's carry.

00:29:56
Speaker 2: Now I don't know about Pokemon cars.

00:29:58
Speaker 23: I did a quick google and some of them can go up through up to three hundred dollars for what I research here one hundred dollars. You have to think about it. That's a ten to fifteen dollars investment to get three hundred dollars. And now that you can definitely get it in Amason or something like that. But if you get it from a retailer, it's actually cheaper and it's a trill off, you know, just standing there at the line. Also, you can get scammed by Amazon. Okay, but now if we're talking about magic the gathering, which I know, for example, a thirty two dollars pack, or go to the rings and you can come out with the one ring of one which Post my loan owns for two million dollars. That's thirty two dollars for two million dollars.

00:30:47
Speaker 1: I get it. Scary.

00:30:48
Speaker 2: Didn't you stay to Post my loaner's house or the house.

00:30:51
Speaker 3: That I stayed at the beach, the house that we were at with my family. I stayed in the bedroom the post. Malone stated, you know, I got a little little post.

00:31:02
Speaker 1: Malone on my skin. If you know what I'm saying, all right, we're gonna continue.

00:31:08
Speaker 23: Only if you think that's very niche Steve Aoki, Yep, just purchased to set over one hundred thousand dollars. I know from the set Final Fantasy off the Golden Shuttle. I get it now, this is a golden chocobow. Each one of them is value on up to twenty two thousand dollars one. That's nine pointant. But then think about it like this, Brody, your favorite video game. You open up a thirty two dollars pack and you get twenty two thousand dollars.

00:31:38
Speaker 3: How you Yeah, but first of all, you're naming millionaires who can afford to buy these cards, and they certainly didn't open up a pack for you for five fifteen dollars and then they got the cards. That's not his point. His point is the kids sitting outside target will sell it to the rich guys and make a lot of money.

00:31:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, but he's got to get a hold of it first. How is it? How is it? Kid gonna get that piece?

00:32:02
Speaker 3: Waiting outside target and hoping he buys a pack that has the Pikachu card in it, but we all know that that's a that's like one in like five thousand. It's like winning the McDonald's fucking game and getting bored rock. You're not gonna get it. It's like hitting the lot hitting the lottery, except somebody's getting the cards, so they wait out. I want to know how many of those fucking cards are in the deck or in the entire You got cases and cases and case here. It scary. You already know the answer because they're worth money. If they're worth money, there aren't that many. That's how it works. Kid is only a faery.

00:32:41
Speaker 6: No.

00:32:41
Speaker 3: Yeah, So Pikachu, the company that makes the cards, goes out and says, we're releasing a set. There's gonna be three golden Pikachu's or whatever one of you gets it gets uh is worth money, and one of one of them gets it into the Willy Wanka chocolate factory.

00:32:54
Speaker 1: That sounds like that sounds a illegal.

00:32:58
Speaker 3: You're these kids just beending their money that they don't even have. It's not These aren't kids, dude, they're like in their twenties and even it's terrible. Taking advent the fleecing of America. They're taking advantage of us. Who are they taking If no one told them to sit outside and try to buy the backs of cards, they're choosing to do that. It's free will. Okay, Russia, Okay, I don't know. I just there's something that's something in the milk and clean on that for me. I just you're you're hoping, praying that you're gonna get the magic fucking cards. But it's it's almost like playing the lottery, which is legal. That's like Calshi. It's almost like every gamble.

00:33:37
Speaker 1: The lottery is legal.

00:33:39
Speaker 3: Legal gambling is it's legal gambling. So this is this is these big companies sidestepping gambling by making it gambling scary, not gambling. They that the only reason why this kids lined up for these cards is because they think they're going to get one and they're not.

00:33:56
Speaker 1: The audis are stacked against you. One person gets it and gets to sell it to post Malone.

00:34:03
Speaker 3: I'm the same Limelight rush all right, and he.

00:34:07
Speaker 1: Come in love, Oh my god, and.

00:34:11
Speaker 24: He the bus driver here coming live from business bank.

00:34:14
Speaker 4: Part What is going on with these mess roaders?

00:34:20
Speaker 1: Fucking day night lapped around fifteen to three.

00:34:22
Speaker 3: Okay, the mess, the Mess won the Friday Night game, the Thursday night game.

00:34:25
Speaker 1: They did obviously he was at the Saturday night game.

00:34:28
Speaker 3: Yeah, that was all that was unfortunate. I think they cheat up old run.

00:34:36
Speaker 19: Yeah, Saturday's been happy.

00:34:49
Speaker 1: They're hitting, they're hitting there.

00:34:51
Speaker 3: I love the liberty, belove that the that Kyle Schwarber had three home runs, two in the same inning, and uh uh, what's his name? Bryan Bryce Harper, Bryce Harper, Bryce Harper hit for the cycle. The Mets got destroyed, and in all that joy, he thought the thought to leave a talk back that was going to be my point quality.

00:35:15
Speaker 1: I love that. I love that he thought of us in that moment.

00:35:20
Speaker 25: Fantastic broad him on Happy Fathers Day. But stay on your toes. I know you don't like rap, but come on here you go, all right, Fuck you, David Brody, you too, see low Green.

00:35:38
Speaker 1: Fuck you.

00:35:41
Speaker 7: Again.

00:35:41
Speaker 25: Happy Thursday to Brody. Your Father'sday present for me is that I don't have time to make the Brody is Wrong jingle today, So I'm just going to do another one here.

00:35:53
Speaker 7: There's one more one. A great guest.

00:35:56
Speaker 3: Too much middle, get rid of the middle, cut out the middle.

00:36:01
Speaker 7: World.

00:36:05
Speaker 25: But I just got to give you on my That's all Brodie is wrong here. So Brody, you're talking about the basketball and the hockey finals.

00:36:13
Speaker 14: They got to move the hockey.

00:36:14
Speaker 8: No, the hockey. It was never on the same day as the basketball. So you can watch basketball on Monday, you watch hockey on Tuesday. It's no problem. Get the fuck out of here.

00:36:24
Speaker 3: No, it's a problem because no one's thinking about not knowing. Obviously somebody is. It's just it's like, if the World Series was taking place the week of the Super Bowl, you wouldn't do that. Yeah, you wouldn't because it would be overshadowed by the super Bowl.

00:36:37
Speaker 1: I see what Brodie saw.

00:36:38
Speaker 3: Country is absorbed by the Knicks and you're like, oh, I catch the Golden Knights in the Carolina Hurricanes. As a country, we could only fucking pay attention to one thing at a time, So you can't have the Vegas and Carolina aren't like huge media markets. New York was huge rating. What Brody's also trying to say is had they been at its own time, around FIFA, not around not around basketball, it would have had its moment.

00:37:05
Speaker 1: It would be the biggest thing in the news that day.

00:37:09
Speaker 3: Right, Make it a week earlier and you own it. Oh, what's going on the Stanley Cup?

00:37:14
Speaker 1: Right? Nothing else in it in its way? I mean the.

00:37:16
Speaker 3: Basketball playoffs were going on, but still yeah, no, okay, hockey hockey blew it.

00:37:21
Speaker 1: They did Brooklyn Boys, James, Miami and I'm back. I've been lost, Episode seventy five.

00:37:29
Speaker 7: I'm catching up. I got a question for you guys.

00:37:34
Speaker 1: One, are you guys gonna when? Are you guys gonna link up?

00:37:37
Speaker 7: Finally?

00:37:39
Speaker 26: You guys been thinking advantage of this long distance virtual reality?

00:37:46
Speaker 1: One?

00:37:46
Speaker 3: Are you guys gonna link up and do an episode together? I'm not having last year. I got a big studio here now, I got a nice studio. I got a couch, I got extra microphones and headphones.

00:37:56
Speaker 1: I'm ready. But we could do it.

00:37:58
Speaker 3: We could do a bro podcast sitting on the couch.

00:38:00
Speaker 1: Were both sit on the couch.

00:38:02
Speaker 3: We can hold the microphones in our hand, like hold the mic stands in our hand. A little short ones.

00:38:06
Speaker 1: Yeah, and do a broadcast a broadcast. Let's do it.

00:38:10
Speaker 26: Yeah, I have to think about that license your come on, linc up all right, Scary already got the red Room of pain.

00:38:20
Speaker 1: See he knows. Let's do it, James, I'm ready for him. Buddy and scary, Bring back the jingles, uh.

00:38:33
Speaker 3: Broke life for Live, Thank you for dinner Always James James, Miami.

00:38:43
Speaker 14: Lady Dinner, he Boody and Scariest joke from kel California.

00:38:51
Speaker 1: What size is it?

00:38:52
Speaker 14: Just like a New York thing where you guys talk about getting online, but you're talking about standing in the line? Is online because it's just like in line here?

00:39:09
Speaker 1: Get on line?

00:39:10
Speaker 14: In a line? O.

00:39:12
Speaker 3: Let me ask you a question, James.

00:39:14
Speaker 14: You guys keep saying you got online for that sho.

00:39:18
Speaker 3: Sorry Joe, Joe, let me let me let me ask you a question. Let's say you get in line. What do you call it when you leave the line? Outline or offline?

00:39:27
Speaker 1: Get off line? Off line, off the line.

00:39:28
Speaker 3: You could be online.

00:39:30
Speaker 1: Get on the line, get off the line.

00:39:31
Speaker 3: It's right, jump in the line. I can rock your body time. If you told me to stand, like if I was in the military, you like to put twelve guys like get in line. Then like you'd line everybody up and you'd have to be like narrowly focused and right. But getting on the line, you're you're adding to the line. See that line over there, I'm gonna get on it. You wouldn't get in the line, because that would be in the middle of the line. I get on the end of the line.

00:39:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's the way.

00:39:55
Speaker 3: That's the way we translated. You're getting on the end of the line, and you shorten it into getting on the lawn.

00:40:00
Speaker 1: But the line, he continues, David.

00:40:02
Speaker 14: Brody, Hey Brody, if you want real pistachio ice cream, you can get Hoggan does They actually opened their first store up in Brooklyn Heights, so all right, and there they don't have the fake green shit in it either. Hogan is always if you want real pastachio ice cream, you can get Hoggan Dolls. It doesn't have the fake in it, and they actually opened their first store up in Brooklyn.

00:40:29
Speaker 3: Brooklyn Heights. From what I understand, Ben and Jerry's also isn't green, and it has huge and a large amount of Statie nuts. So I love Ben and Jerry's. But Friendlies almonds no, sorry, fuck Friendlies.

00:40:42
Speaker 2: Brooks with this and it's always purty scary Brody. I'm sorry to tell you that device is not used to watch your phone. What you're describing is what counting creators use to put their phone in front of them. So they can reward stuff that they're doing with their hands, like a box opening, or if they're cooking something, those cooking videos. That's how they created that I.

00:41:05
Speaker 3: Was talking about. Nope, yeah, nope, nope, I know what a content creator phone holder is. This was exactly what I said it was, because that's the description and the phone faces you.

00:41:19
Speaker 1: Okay, it was.

00:41:20
Speaker 3: It's it's sleep when you're in bed and you want to look up at your phone. It wraps around your neck and shoots up so right or when you're walking you can watch it.

00:41:31
Speaker 1: Are you in bed? Are you on bed?

00:41:36
Speaker 10: Oh?

00:41:37
Speaker 3: I'm I'm definitely in bed.

00:41:39
Speaker 1: Bed. Sure you're on the bed, but I get in bed.

00:41:42
Speaker 3: You're both but but you know you're not really in the bed bed stuck in the mattress. But I couldn't get in the bed where my money is, and I get in the bed the confines of the bed.

00:41:59
Speaker 1: He heard it.

00:42:00
Speaker 2: I've never left so hard in my life. I actually played this for several of my friends. Scary Jones declares himself a pland Daddy forgets name of planet, has to look at up live dies says, what the hell is wrong with this thing?

00:42:16
Speaker 7: Plant?

00:42:16
Speaker 1: Does it dying. I'm doing everything right. Can I return it? Can I get my money back? If he'd be a father, this would be the worst.

00:42:25
Speaker 3: It would be the worst because my kid would be dead. That's why I'm not a father. That's why you can't have a can a cat, can't have a kid, won't have it, can't have a dolphin. By the way, do bro I am. I'm thinking about it. I'm thinking about raising a ruckus and getting in touch with it, since you don't raise a kid. Yeah, easy plant, easy plant, I'm fucking coming for you. I'm watching closely. This plant is droopier by the day. Man, it's not doing And it's right in front of the sunlight. It's right there.

00:42:56
Speaker 1: I don't know.

00:42:56
Speaker 3: I'm supposed to have sunlight. This one, DyLight. This one is direct sunlight. I'm telling you something's up. I'm gonna give it another week or so for it to catch its breath or something. Only you could kill a self feeding plant.

00:43:11
Speaker 2: Imagine scared Jersey with a baby. Oh my god, I just brought this thing home. All he does is sleeps and heats. Doesn't even look at me. I tried to watch the game. He doesn't want to let me watch the game. Sat another couch doesn't even sat up straight. We're wrong with this thing.

00:43:26
Speaker 1: Can I can I get my money back from the hospital?

00:43:31
Speaker 3: Scary Jones is a plant, daddy, This plant is broken.

00:43:34
Speaker 1: I will see you give me my money back. Thank you, Juan Valdez. All right, let's take another break, please, can we?

00:43:41
Speaker 11: Boys?

00:43:42
Speaker 15: Podcast?

00:43:44
Speaker 5: All right?

00:43:45
Speaker 1: Final stretch? This is a that was a hydration break for us.

00:43:50
Speaker 3: We needed Are we self hydrating?

00:43:52
Speaker 14: We need?

00:43:53
Speaker 3: No the like you know in so were now wading? Are we self watering? A podcast?

00:43:57
Speaker 8: No?

00:43:57
Speaker 3: The In the World Cup they take hydration breaks. So every did I take a World Cup of water? How do they drink that?

00:44:04
Speaker 19: Yeah?

00:44:05
Speaker 1: You know about the hydration break? Right?

00:44:07
Speaker 6: No?

00:44:07
Speaker 3: Oh, we'll talk about it on the Brook and boys, hold on, we'll talk about the book. Let me let me say I could calculate how many minutes of World Cup I've watched so far?

00:44:15
Speaker 1: Obviously zero me forty seconds?

00:44:20
Speaker 8: Zero exactly, Hey, b boys.

00:44:23
Speaker 27: Christy from Saddlebrook regarding episode SO three seventy nine. When talkbacks first started, I had mentioned to you guys. You guys were talking about pizza, and I had said to go to Patsy's tavern in Patterson. It's just so different and fabulous, and my grandparents would go, and my parents and us and it was just the best. It still is the best. Been there since like nineteen thirty something. Never needed a reservation, could always walk in and get a table. And Christy again. Fast forward to twenty twenty one, twenty twenty two. Dave Portney goes there, takes one bite, instantly gives it like an eight.

00:45:02
Speaker 21: Point nine or something like that.

00:45:04
Speaker 8: You can't and then he takes another part.

00:45:05
Speaker 27: He goes, no, no, no, this is definitely like a nine point two, nine point five. This is almost a ten. Now you can't get into place. It's always packed and you absolutely must have a reservation.

00:45:17
Speaker 8: You ruined it.

00:45:18
Speaker 27: Ps Brody absolutely loved John Oliver. He's fantabulous.

00:45:23
Speaker 1: Thank you all right, thank you.

00:45:25
Speaker 3: Christy from Saddlebrook, Teresa from ver Ruby each former Lee, Woodbridge, New Jersey, Okay, Dottie Osman.

00:45:36
Speaker 8: One bad Apple.

00:45:37
Speaker 3: Bye, coming in hot with the seventies references Dottie from wood Bridge.

00:45:45
Speaker 28: Originally Okay, So this just goes to prison theory.

00:45:51
Speaker 24: So the whole rant and blah blah blah, and whin ain't crying about leaving more than fall four o'clock, take you up your servers, blah blah blah.

00:46:03
Speaker 28: Is bullshit, y'all. Just we're tired of the people you don't like leaving talkbacks, leaving more than uh four, because God forbid, everybody in the mother is leaving more than four fucking talkbacks. I don't know why said God forbid, but I was trying to ramble really fast, because the thirty seconds always gets hugged at me. Anyway, if you guys could just say, hey, we're gonna play jingles. If you're gonna leave more than four, then play the fucking jingles. Don't blame on no fucking server, server fucking getting full or whatnot.

00:46:39
Speaker 8: Bullshit.

00:46:39
Speaker 28: We're building all these data centers. There's no such thing as a server getting full anymore.

00:46:47
Speaker 3: That's not true.

00:46:47
Speaker 28: If I hurt, can't afford or any more fucking data servers, maybe they should start letting everybody in the mother going fucking twenty millionfications in the year.

00:46:59
Speaker 19: God that.

00:47:02
Speaker 1: He's hot. He's hot. Okay, I'm done.

00:47:07
Speaker 10: I'll have a good day.

00:47:09
Speaker 28: And Garry Brody never.

00:47:13
Speaker 1: Thank you. I like this guy.

00:47:14
Speaker 3: All of a sudden, you know what you can leave as many talkbacks as you want. Pal No, okay, So let me address a couple of things. The fact that this data farms for AI servers has nothing to do with podcast servers, and making more servers doesn't increase the servers we have access to. It's like if you have a you have a you have a Google Drive, you have fifteen gigs, you have to pay for more of it. We found when we had too many talkbacks, the earlier ones were getting erased. Yeah, that's that's a problem, and we want to make sure everybody's voice is heard here.

00:47:46
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very true. So all right, but also yeah, well I'm sorry, Brody, continue, would you want to say something?

00:47:54
Speaker 3: Also, there were people leaving twelve thirteen talkbacks and it was getting a little well, there was there was that.

00:47:59
Speaker 14: There was that Yeah, hey, body's scariest Joe from California. You guys were talking about the sports and talking about soccer. I don't know if you know that soccer has actually passed baseball and hockey as far as popularity in the United States, especially if you add in like Premier League and Spanish League.

00:48:21
Speaker 1: I would subscribe to that. I guess he must have statistics that I don't.

00:48:27
Speaker 21: Hi, Scary and Brody. This is Jenna from North Jersey. I am commenting regarding Helen Keller and Brody mentioned being fascinated about how they could teach her how to communicate. I just wanted to recommend, if you're ever interested, to watch the movie The Miracle Worker. I think they made two versions of it, Mike. One personal interest is the first one with Anne Bancroft. It's wonderful.

00:48:56
Speaker 3: Hye bye, great recommendation, an all time classic film. I would say, though, if I'm being honest, I was being facetious in that it's It's just seemed odd to me to have a quote from Helen Keller considering, but I know in the movie they do explain how it all works. It's a I think they want to Academy Award for that. I didn't know there was a remake, but I know the Ambankruft won The America Worker the first one. Very good recommending.

00:49:27
Speaker 14: Hey God, it's being in the old calm.

00:49:30
Speaker 1: Mad took her here one more time?

00:49:31
Speaker 14: You Siri, Bo Marino, whoa you know?

00:49:34
Speaker 24: I'd like to send them big old happy belated birthday shout out to none other than your pops there, mister Anthony Scary.

00:49:43
Speaker 1: Happy belated birthday there, mister mister Anthony Scary.

00:49:46
Speaker 29: But anyway, I would like to know, man, let us know, is Loreno related to party Phil, because they seem just about the same.

00:49:57
Speaker 3: Party Party Phil of Phil Cross Phil Cross, No No tried to upsell me.

00:50:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no, no relation.

00:50:06
Speaker 29: Yeah, you need to look into this, Scooty, because I think I think all these people are in cahoots.

00:50:11
Speaker 1: They're just up to get you your number one and their speed down there when they need some money.

00:50:15
Speaker 3: You know, Loreno with all the recommendations and the light switches and the door handles, and when she couldn't get you with the leather door handles.

00:50:23
Speaker 29: She probably called Phil and told Phil, hey, you feel I got a sucker for you. Get them with a party, tell them all kinds of stuff.

00:50:29
Speaker 1: And you know who got you first, the first person that got you. They're probably in kahoots too.

00:50:33
Speaker 29: They're probably related also, I'll tell you, Yeah, the salesman at the BMW place that got you to buy that Brooklyn Grave vehicle that nobody wanted to buy, that sat in the shoulder for nine months before old Scootie came along.

00:50:51
Speaker 1: And bought it. Yeah, I'll tell you what, boy, you're just throwing your money down the toet.

00:50:55
Speaker 29: I'll tell you what you need to be careful there, Scooty golly.

00:51:00
Speaker 2: Oh Man.

00:51:03
Speaker 1: Nailed it so.

00:51:06
Speaker 28: I can leave ten talkbacks?

00:51:08
Speaker 7: Can everybody else?

00:51:09
Speaker 1: Now that's not true.

00:51:11
Speaker 3: First of all, we did say if someone's on a roll in the middle of something that's going somewhere, and it's entertaining, and it's entertaining and it's making us laugh, we'll keep going with it. That's the difference.

00:51:26
Speaker 1: You understand.

00:51:27
Speaker 3: We're doing an entertainment show here, right, yeah, Hiven seven boring, repetitious talkbacks.

00:51:35
Speaker 1: Bullshit, then we're gonna go We're gonna go yeahs enough, you know.

00:51:39
Speaker 3: And if we were real assholes like most people do in their podcasts, we would go back. We would listen to all of them, and we would edit out the bullshit. We would edit out the slow ones, the ones that droned on forever, because that's what they do. That's what most podcasts do. They sit down on that kind of time, polish it up. We're letting everybody fly here. We're trusting you. We are trusting that you're gonna give us high quality entertainment with every time we press that button right, and remember that first commercial break we took with Scary. Didn't hit the button When you hit that dead air space, you'll know, no, there was no debt from there. I hit that that was spot on that commercial break. Okay, yeah, all right, we have the last three that looks like they came in all together.

00:52:24
Speaker 12: This is.

00:52:26
Speaker 30: Yeah, Brody and Scary, Scary and Brody.

00:52:28
Speaker 3: It's doas it does.

00:52:29
Speaker 30: I laughed really hard last week when I was listening to the episode in Scary's referencing Friendlies because many moons ago before I entered the court system as an employee, never as a plaintiff or defendant. I just want to make that clear.

00:52:43
Speaker 1: And she never as a plaintiff or defendant.

00:52:45
Speaker 30: I worked at Friendlies, So no, did I sling rock?

00:52:49
Speaker 6: I did not.

00:52:50
Speaker 30: I only slung ice cream. So I can answer your question, Scary, and I will tell you exactly what a fribble is.

00:52:55
Speaker 1: Did you smoke rock? Because it sounds like you're smoking some rock right now? What is a fribble, so Scary.

00:53:01
Speaker 30: A fribble is a milkshake that is not made with hard ice cream, but it's rather made with soft ice cream, real soft serve, and it's like a custard based soft serve ice cream, so it makes it thicker than your average milkshake.

00:53:14
Speaker 1: And I can guarantee you.

00:53:15
Speaker 30: Friendlies lost a shit a ton of money when I worked there, because when I was there, I was in my teens into college, and I used to hook those kids up with some serious sundays. So everybody got ridiculous amounts of ice cream when they sat in my section. I made a lot of money.

00:53:28
Speaker 1: Hell yeah, good for you.

00:53:31
Speaker 30: Last one, I promise you guys will never ever hit that jingle on me. You hear me ever, desert Rae will not get the jingle hit on her. I promise dee bombs never you trace. And that's the last one.

00:53:43
Speaker 3: On mind you get foot bags not except that was only three, so I got it it would never happen. I just wanted to show you could happen.

00:53:59
Speaker 1: Oh okay, let's let her have her third talk back.

00:54:03
Speaker 30: Last one, I promise you guys will never ever hit that jingle on me. You hear me, ever, desert Rae will not get the jingle hit on her. I promise dee bombs never Numero trace and that's the last one.

00:54:15
Speaker 1: Listen.

00:54:15
Speaker 30: Friendlies is very regional, so it is really primarily in the East Coast. They do have other locations down south, but not as many. But if anybody's listening and not from the East Coast, just know that it's in New England. It's American made food, ship on ice cream and the best place to bring your kids to eat for cheap.

00:54:31
Speaker 1: Thank you?

00:54:32
Speaker 11: Is it?

00:54:32
Speaker 3: Is it in New England or is it on New England California or on California.

00:54:42
Speaker 1: Oh my god, we love you. We love every one of you reactions. This podcast all depends on you. Baby.

00:55:00
Speaker 10: A free Jazer
