Speaker 1: Start aft Up, start Up, Brooklyn Boys, start Up, Brooklyn Boys, start Up. They're making noise dot up start Up, Episode one thirty of the Brooklyn Boys podcast. And here we are, we are here whatever. I hope you're someplace cool in their car. Are you and your bad listening to this? Well, I hope you weren't at that big pool party in Wisconsin, because everyone has made a joke of it and showing pictures of that massive gathering at the lake or wherever they were, the Ozarks, the Ozarks right by the pool, and uh, as of a day, a day or two before we started recording this podcast. Uh. The first of what I'm sure is many people have tested positive for COVID nineteen. So okay, help wherever hard more somewhere state a second, they say, you got to give it a full two weeks from that party to see the effects of the party. Let's wait, let's wait another way. What I'm saying is if that person tested positive, that means they most likely had it when they were at the party. Well, since they tested positive a few days after them, I think we should replace the Stake Dinner update with the Lake of Ozark's COVID update. Next week. We'll do that next week. Get a jingle made? No, No, I just, I just I just want people, how many want people to be careful? When you said it should be a better place, yes, but make it a safer place, is all I'm saying that all Brody, I cannot tell a lie. Yesterday I went to the Lake of the Ozarks. I went to Stanford, Connecticut, to have lunch with a buddy of mine. That's fine. I went outside. We ate outside because outdoor dining is open in Connecticut, and it felt so good. Let me tell let me tell you something. A marginal calamari or galla mad and um decent burger never tasted so good. Go ahead, And how far apart were you guys? All right? Was the wind blowing towards you or towards him? Towards him? So he's screwed. Yeah, by the way, they came out this week, and I said, you might need to be like twelve to six or twelve yeah, exactly, he had, No, that's no, I'm sorry. I mean, that's six is where it's at. I'm done. I don't go further than that. I follow the medical recommendations, but nothing said Anna. I'm gonna you need a walkie talkie. I hear you that being said. You and I both took a COVID test this week. We did. Oh okay, yeah, so I'll give you both my results. I actually got the other one this morning. Um, I took the the antibody blood test. Now did you did somebody give it to you? Did you have to do it yourself? No, they administered it. Tell me how yours went, and then I'll tell you how mine went. So I walked into a parking lot in Jersey City, and um, there was an outdoor testing site. You go to the trailer for the blood test, and you go to the tent for the COVID swab test. So I literally signed a form. It was so quick and easy. I went right before lunchtime. I didn't go when the masses got there early in the morning. I went there right before lunch and uh, they were like, yeah, step up, no waiting, cond of deal. I'm like really, I'm like, this is like one of when I am at the bar when everyone's done drinking and then just trying to step up, no waiting. It was like that. I'm like, Wow, this is great who you are. No, they did not they did not know. Who can I get a COVID test? I'm scary? John's from Elvis did not use the Elvis Durand Morning Show card for the COVID test. Let me put that out there, right were you? Were you driving a Z one vehicle? No? Nor was I wearing a Z one hundred T shirt or wearing it. I have a tattooed on my forehead permanently. Now, don't you know? Right were you wearing? Were you holding a jock card with your picture on it and your logo? I worked for Elvis Durant, truth be told, went up there in a mask, so I was They couldn't even have recognized me, and that was the story. They took my driver's license. They are you gonna have to post on Instagram now videos of you wearing a mask so people can get used to your eyes and hair and mask combo, because you need people to recognize you even when you're wearing a mask. Exactly, you're such a douche. Yeah. So I I ended up, you know, getting the test. They walked me through the thing. I got the blood tests, got me down to ten seconds, went to the tent, and then I got the nose swab and then my I got it was revealed that I am negative for the antibody, which for the fact that I might have had it. The answer is no, I never did, which kind of pisces me off because there's fifty fifty debatable whether it could have been a false positive false negative, but who knows. But but right now, as it stands, I don't even have the peace of mind of even thinking that I may have had it or not, so because I haven't had So now, let me let me come on that. Hold on, hold on, no, no, no no, let me call you out on that a couple of reason. Let me give you the okay, No, no, you're piste because you were hoping you had the antibodies so you'd have immunity to it. But he wants, okay, all right, I'm gonna call you out on two things. Number one, it is extremely debatable. They still don't know if you can get it twice number two. Number two, And I thought, I thought, and our slices were thinking, Wow, he was hoping he had antibodies so he could donate them to help someone recover faster. But no, you're disappointed because it's a chance it would have helped you. I thought for a minute, Wow, how heroic is scary? He was hoping an antibodies so he could do the right thing and help others my bad. Well, and then I got a swab test, the nose test, and the results of that also, I am not the father. I'm there. I'm negative for that. Wait a minute, I have not had it. So I have not only only negative. You remember, you're only negative up until the split second you have that test I had. Once you go to once you go to lunch with your buddy in Connecticut, you could have it. You could have it right now. So tell me about Tell me about the process of them swabbing your nose. Talk me through that. Well, they swabbed my nose. Okay. They literally like shoved his long, extra long Q tip up your nose, and they kind of just the kind of like turn it left and right clockwise counter clockwise for maybe a totally. She says, this is gonna be five seconds. It felt like three. It was deep. It was deep up in the nasal cavity for sure. Okay. Now, when you say deep in your nose, like if you put your finger in your nose, you know how you know stops at some point. Yesh, did it go higher than your nose? It felt like it did. I don't think I've ever picked that far up before. Okay, now this was a key kiddle. What are we talking about. Well, there's a reason I don't think I've ever gotten my finger as far as the Q tip went. If that's what no went. Listen, we we've all had our finger in your nose. But when you put your finger in your nose, you know you can feel the opening where like when you when you snot in like that, like little higher than that. So you're saying it went in that hole? Right, Yes, Okay, let me tell you about my experience with the old COVID test. So I decided to do it yesterday today being today's Sunday. So I did it yesterday on a Saturday. I didn't have time during the week, and so I I Google mapped who has COVID tests and I'm like, oh, the CVS not far from my house has a drive through testing site. So the drive through pharmacy they I'm like, they have a they have a drive through testing So I answer all the questions, I fill out the form online and then at the end it says, I understand and accept the fact that I will be self administering the test. Oh they got you. I'm wait a minute. What So it wasn't drive through testing as much as it was testing at the drive through, and so you have to do your own testing. So so first I'm thinking, well, okay, if if, if a medical professional does it, they're gonna stick that thing all the way up and they're gonna do it against you know, they're gonna do it on their time schedule. And then they even though like well, like they're gonna rip the band aid off right, go right in your nose. So I'm like, well, can I do that to myself? Can I? I know, Scary tried to ask his own d but can I possibly test my own nose? Because you know, as a kid, we've all tried to test our own nose. Scary you know what I mean? Yeah, well we all tried it. If you're not, you're lying right right. And so I get there for my my twelve o'clock appointment and there's a car in front of me, and of course the car in front of me was there eighteen minutes roughly uh into my allotted twelve o'clock time, but no big deal. I'm in my car and I see that they hand them a bag. I'm watching the guy in the car, and then I see he and his female companion are both doing it. So now I'm waiting for both of them do whatever they're doing. And then they there's like a box from Quest Diagnostics, which is a big blood testing sample testing company in our area. I don't know if their national doesn't matter, don't tweet me, And there's a so that they open up like it's a mail box. They dropped the bags in, and then I see them take out wipes and wipe down the box where they touched them, Like that's awfully nice to them to clean up to wipe the box where they touched with their gloves. Anyway, So I pull up and the two guys are in masks behind behind the glass at the drive through its CVS, and now they're asking me all of the same questions that I imp it on the app, right, So I said, well, are you verifying my information? So can I go quickly? Because you know, when when they already have the information and they want your phone number, you can just go on MO more more moment. But when they don't have it. You have to go slowly so they can write it down or enter it. Right, So I always ask, hey, how are you am I verifying? Uh? Because I already put it in on the app. No, we have to enter it as I said. Well that doesn't make a lot of sense, but okay, So now they want my medical information on my my, my I D card, which I already gave them. So they go, well, can you hold it up to the glass. It's okay, Well, you know our medical cards. It's the smallest font imaginable. You have to use your phone magnifying app to read the damn right, right, you have to exactly. It's the worst. And I don't know why they don't make the funt bigger. There's plenty of room on the card to make the freaking funt bigger. Okay, So I verify everything, and by the time I answer all the questions and I get ready for them to give me the test, it's twelve thirty. So now a half hour has gone by that I'm sitting there, and you know, I'm I'm I'm not one to waste money, so I've turned the car off, figuring I would be a two minute test, so that I wouldn't run the gas gas with air conditioning running. So I I and I don't have the windows open because they told me to keep my windows closed. Um, you know, because there's germs and I don't know whatever. It's fine, okay. So I get the COVID. They they walk me through the process. So they say, you have to break this thing off and put it in the bag, and then here's the test tube of fluid, and here's a bag of chlorox wipes that I need to wipe down the deposit box when I'm done. It's like a nine step process. And I'm like, I don't think I can remember all of that. Well, I have to. You did not have the experience that I did, right, So I get the thing and it's a long thing and he's he's first of all, he said, this long Q tip looking thing is in like, um, a little plastic thing. You have to peel apart to get to it. And he's like, okay, you insert this side. And he's pointing at it, right, he's not touching it. He's pointing at it, and he says, you insert this side into your knows right. So I said, excuse me, I don't mean to be rude. But do you mean end because I can't insert the side of a cute dip into my nose. No no, no, no, no, no, no, no no. I wasn't being a wise ass. He was pointing at the side, saying insert the side. I said, are you referring to the top you have up right? Because I couldn't tell me he was pointing to the bottom of the top. I really don't want to mess you, so you're you're you're killing him on the fact that he didn't use the word end well, because first of all, the correct term is you insert this end. Nobody says this side. You wouldn't say the point the side of a pencil. You say the point the end of the part. I wasn't grammar correcting him. I want to make sure I do it right because I'm performing a very important medical procedure that may determine whether or not I have a virus. That it's common sense. How are you How would you ever put the side of a stick in your nose? Scaring He wasn't pointing to the top, and he had an angled But but I mean, logic would dictate that you put a side of a stick in your nose, that it would have to be one of the two ends. Okay, my point was obviously not the one without the without the swab, the cotton swab on it out the stick side. It doesn't even need any directions now that they think about it. Just no fucking thing and shoving up your nose. I'll tell you one. It was only one way rope. Nope, not correct. I'll tell you why it's not correct, doctor Dr Jones uh Indiana Jones reference. I'll tell you why. Why Because there was no cotton swab on mine. Okay, that's what I'm trying to tell you. The stick, No, it was a stick with pointy things on both ends, so by looking at it you would not have known. You would not have known which end to put in my end, Each end looks the same. No, through my through my car. I rolled down the window through the bulletproof glass at CBS. Right behind the glass would glare from the sun coming in. Right the guy behind the glass is holding up something wrapped in plastic. You could not see either end of it. Can I want it? Okay? Okay, So he gives me the kit with the medical supply. It was a production, but it was obviously production for the people in front of me, it took half. Okay, So I get this thing and I've got the gloves on, and it's one of those things where you have to like take the two things and and and and scratch it at the top so you can peel them apart like a cheese stick. Give me a cheese stick. You gotta like take the flaps. But it's almost impossible to do with gloves. So I can't get the thing open. So I finally get I was like, I was gonna use my teeth to bite it open. I'm like, oh no, no, no, no, don't do that, don't do that. So I finally get it open. One end has a little like a bobous ball at the end, right, and the other end, which I think is the top right because he gave it to me in a bag and in the bag it was sideways right, so it wasn't like it was sticking up. So I'm like, is this the end? He's like, yes, So the end of the testing thing that I have to put in my nose, it looks like it looks like um, like a whisk almost. It's just like I don't know, eight or ten point brush brush. It's like a brush head. It was like the kind of thing you'd kill your girl. Wasn't a tip, right? What was it? The other end a little a little ball like a little nub. So but again from a distance through the glass, you couldn't tell which end was the proper end because the ball looked like certainly wasn't the side, so you but my point was through the glass, the little ball at the bottom looked like the que tip end, and the other end looked like the bottom. So he was holding it. Okay, I'll give you that. I'll give you that one, okay. But but the side, the side put the side of a stick in your right, which is why. But I didn't know what end because it looked like he had an upside down. It looked like the ball was okay, okay, so you got it? When what day did you go? Yesterday? Back? Yet what he said was it's three to four days, could be seven, which is another one of those like when you when people those weight loss commercials lose to forty pounds or more. Let me it's not tell you that they are doing an under promise over deliver there Because I went on Thursday and for my swap test. They said three to five days, and Saturday night last night is when the result came in. So it took so expect a shorter time. They expectations, Well they don't. In fact, it took me a half hour to get the thing into my car. I'm not. I'm managing my expectations properly. By the way, do you know what they call that? The that's like, uh, that's a cover your ask for Karen's. Yes, they want to make sure that Karen's don't all You told me three days and it's been four, so they say up to seven to cover themselves because because Karen's are gonna complain, just saying alright, alright, anyway, So I have to now stick this wire whisk brush head in my nose. How did that go? Well? I said to him, My, I go, so I'm putting this up into my nasal cavity, into my brain, you know, like people say it has to go up high or like or do I put it like when you say, he said put it in your nose to your face? Resistance? So I said, well, truthfully, I'm resisting right now. So am I done? And he so he laughed, and I said, no, really, how far do I put it in the hole? Or do I put it as far as my finger? Like my finger would have resistance? You know what's crazy about? As you continue, I this is why I would rather have it administered by one of these texts, because it self administered test. You're gonna go you're gonna you're gonna shove it. You're not gonna shove it as far or you're gonna think you're you're not shoving it far enough, so you may shove it all the way up and make your nose bleed. Right, you know, so this is terrible, terrible idea. Right, So okay, So I thought, well, I'm thinking to myself, if I had the little que tip, the Q tip is soft, it'll go in the hole. You'll do a little brain swab, you know what I mean. I'm exaggerating, and that seems like the thing to do. But this thing is is like is prickly. It wasn't soft. So I'm like, so he goes, no, no, just put it in your nose and when it hits the top of your nose, you're you're good. I guess I got the boogie version, of course, said an So I said, am I testing my nose or my testing up in the nose. No, no, just sticking in your nose and and rotate it for fifteen seconds, you know, like back and forth, back and forth, and you'll be fine. I'm like, oh, I guess this is a different kind of tests, like a toilet brush, like a toilet preuss. That's exactly what it felt like. So I took the Abbot test. The Abbot test is the one that on television on television that that that researchers are saying is at chance of a false positive or negative. I'm like, oh great, so I'm scraping anyway. So I scraped my nose and and once you do the first one, you then realize you got to do the other one. So the first one was unfreaking comfortable, like my eyes are watering because it's sort of tickling, but it's also sort of stabbing yourself in the nose. And so I had to do I was like, you kidding the other one? Got the other one? I said, but isn't it the same gunk in one noses the other? No, you gotta do now did they do both of your nostrils right? In this one? I had to do both so I'm clearly test. My eyes are watering as I'm stabbing myself into anyway, I now have to as my eyes are watering, I have to like put it in into the test tube with the fluid seal it. Put it in the bag, fold the bag in half, reach out the window, opened the box from Quest Diagnostics, which by the way, isn't like an open mailbox. It's got a slot. So the slot is halfway up the box. So I have to undo my seatbelt so I can lean out the car, out of the car and stick it in the box. Now, I take the clocks wipes they gave me and I have to wipe the box down so that that anything on my glove that touched up anyway. My point was, I did all this work myself. It was like doing self check out. Who you know? Who you are? You are the character that Vic de Benedetto is playing in his coronavirus stand up sketch from behind the steering wheel. Did you see this? This thing has millions of views. Everyone google Vic de Benedetto comedian coronavirus uh sketch And by the way, you are that guy? You are? You're the guy he is talking about everything you're describing. I am you're the boy in the bubble. A couple of his rants, by the way, are exactly almost exactly the same as rants I've done, but I did them first. Okay, but not this one. Guys, ladies, gentlemen, everyone google that you will if you want to laugh your ass off for five minutes. I would play it here, but it's a copyright in French. Vick is Vick is very fun. He is hysterical on this, especially on the coronavirus sketch. You you'll thank me later. He he will remind you of someone when you hear him out. Yes for sure. Now my buddy will by that you didn't take the You didn't You didn't take the antibody the blood test? Right? You think I was going to inject myself. Well that's the thing. Well, my buddy, he really he can put a great idea because he actually took the antibody blood test and he tested positive for the antibodies. So he thinks that he needs like a verified check mark like on Instagram, you know, the blue checkmark to show that official wants he wants. So I'm thinking we should like print like blue the round blue and white check mark verified we as buttons, so people could go around society wearing them on their shirt with the blue check mark as if hey, I'm positive for antibodies. I'm ready for anything. But well maybe arguably because you may be able to catch it again just saying yeah, you're obviously not hearing me. Oh I heard you. You have nothing to say about it. The blue checkmark Instagram. Everybody wants you're verified for antibodies. I like that. If we really imagine, if you know, art imitates life, you know what else we can do or life imitates if everybody, we could have everybody yellow Jewish stars of David to wear on themselves so people know that they're Jewish. We could do that, We could do all of that. Wait a second, that's racist. Uh do you not know what that is? By the way, when I just star of David? Yeah, the yellow Stars of David wearing it on your clothing? You don't know what that reference? I think that is? That is a Germany Yes, yeah, okay, right, but you the thing is the analogy I'm making here, one has nothing to do with the other. See you just just you just took a very fun a fun reference from today Instagram and turned it into a deep, dark, oppressive racist thing from the forties. Or maybe you want to have will give everyone a scarlet then't wear on there. They're not on the same level, folks. Okay, can we regroup and take it because by the way, hold on, you don't think people would be making counterfeit blue check marks and wearing them on, and so people think that they're safe and that there's got to be one that different. Maybe it's a hologram. I don't know. Hey, how about one that says I have antibodies and I donated them to help other people. They could be that, Yeah, because now you and your friend Will are not doing anything instructive to help people. I was negative, he was positive. And I'm pissed, but not because you want to help anybody, just pissed in general. I wanted to I had it. Please don't tweet us with scientific medical. We're not experts. We don't know anything. We only know what we know and what we read. So if we're wrong, I am sorry. Yeah, and if you're angry, go watch Victi benedetto on. You will thank me later on the coronavirus with body and scary. We haven't even talked touched the iceberg or tip touched the tip of the iceberg of what we were gonna talk about on today's podcast, But then we never do. Oh, I can talk about the seven hundred Club. I can talk about how I made money off my flat tire. I tease that last week. You know the seven hundred Club is it's a religious show on TV. The seven Club is a religious televangelist brainwashing or is it real? Is it good? I don't know. I don't know what it is. I don't know what hold hold the hard First of all, it's not you can't say it's real or not real. It's real, it exists. I don't know what that No, it's real. But the stuff that they preach, is it real or not? I don't know who's to say what religion. It's not a religious commentary. It's just it's a religious show that's been around I don't know, a hundred years. The seven hundred Club, it was around long before the internet when and that was the only way, the only source of people's religions used to be hosted by a gym and Tammy Faye Baker back in the day, okay anyway, or something like let's not give facts that are in core anyway. It's a very religious TV show right from from the days of yr Is. It still exists. It still exists yet and they again I'm not getting political. I'm just explaining what happened to me. So they lean very conservatively to the right, religiously and politically. Okay. They sent out a tweet I think on Thursday or Friday that they were gonna be airing an interview with the White House Press Secretary kalymcinated. Okay, right, and the interview was being done by according to the Twitter account, let's gonna tell you what it says is uh, it doesn't matter word forward, David Brody at David Brodie was doing the interview. The place tune ends certainly not you though, that is they did they accidentally copy you, David Brody on this right at me, and so so I know this is David Brodie that exists in the political world. So who is who? What is his Twitter? Or is it not yours? Okay? I have discussed many minutes. All right, I've discussed this on this podcast many times. But if this is your first episode, welcome to the Brooklyn Boys podcast. There is a Christian evangelical news reporter. He works for the works for He works for CBN, the Christian Broadcasting Network, and he is He's a very he's a very political. He wrote a book about our president UM, and so he has a certain level of fame, right, so people you know obviously that community. Now I have a lot more social media followers, but I would say that his typical audience isn't someone who would be on social media have very trified check mark button. That's right. I could walk around the streets like I have antibodies checkmark Now there was a time. Well we'll look just cut to it, but give us the president to the old episodes. If if any of you know me, I'm probably the last hold on the last person. First of all, I'm not Christian, right, so I probably wouldn't be on the seven hundred club. I am not a fan of the Press Secretary. I would not do an interview with her UM. And more importantly, I don't have a job that would require me to interview the Press Secretary the United States, So it obviously wasn't me. So I sent him a nice tweet and I said, you know who knows who runs this social media account. Could be could be someone fresh out of college. We don't know, I said, as I do to everybody saw the checkmark, and a lot of followers they're like, this is the guy. We're gonna tag this one right now in my and in and in in the in the for the sake of being truthful, my picture on Twitter is not my face. It's a cartoon of a guy problems, a cartoonish person. Hold on, but well, as am I, So I don't think that the head of social media. And by the way, they put a picture up of David Brody with Kaylee mcinahny uh so, and it said tune in for the interview with David Brody. Right, But the way some readers would see that it only showed the font like the verbiage and showed the picture. So there's this giant picture under the tweet that says interview with David Brody. So I tweeted them. I said, hey, I'm not the David Brody. You want please delete the tweet? Right? You have me confused with the guy from CBN nothing. So I look and I go, well, they haven't tweeted since they put this, so they probably haven't checked the social that's correct. So I waited a couple of hours and I see that they've sent out five tweets. So I tweet them again. Nothing. I tweet them again nothing. Now I'm getting people who think I'm that guy. Questions they're they're applying to the tweet, can't wait for the interview. And then some people are attacking me about God and guns, and I'm like, I'm like, hey man, I'm not that guy. In fact, I venture to say, if any two people in the world were complete opposites, it would be me and that guy. He's in TV. I'm in radio. That's all you need to know. I'm not that guy. God bless him. We're not the same. We're not. Did they ever? Did they ever correct it? No? And so I spent it as I always do. How you do it. What you're gonna do is you're gonna respond back to these people and then maybe they'll retweet and say, hey, and if you really want to hear the interview, go to at the Brooklyn Boys and then copy in the Boys and let's get these people on board. Maybe we'll number one in Heart Radio's top one podcast by let's make these people work for us. I would imagine these people, thirty seconds into our podcast, turn it off. I think I think we were terrible sinners. We could change our opening theme to church music. Okay, come on, let's do it. You know, we could psych them out and doing that, we could be like we could start with like this religious organ okay, and then oh we get We could change startup start up to like rise up, rise up, Yes, and we could you know, we we could start with I don't know, start with make it look like we're going into a prayer, and then all of a sudden, halfway through, just start talking about a free dessert story and just kind of rope them in that way, right, and thanks to the Lord, I got free dessert. And I'm not gonna do that. And I think we should move away from religion here. I don't want to get into it because people have different beliefs, and I I think my only my only point was the irony of them saying I would be doing the interview. Uh you know screenshot of it? Oh yeah, of course I did. Of course I screenshot at it. But that's all um, speaking of podcasts that they wouldn't listen to. People who are very religious, very conservative. I want to tell you, I'm thinking that we should maybe rename our podcast call Him Grumpy, because of the Call Her Daddy podcast that Barstool Sports puts out. Right now, I'm not We're not in the business of promoting anyone else's podcasts. But there's a podcast called call Me Daddy, which call Her Daddy right, which up until a month ago, was hosted by two very attractive twenty five year old Ish females. Yes, which by the way, I have listened to on occasion, and I love that podcast. I love everything about it. They talk about their sexual exports. It's raw them like, Okay, if you want to listen to our podcasts and their podcast, fine, but don't don't switch to that's a podcast listening to. Okay. People are always looking for new books, aren't they looking for new podcasts to also add on to their repertoire. You're looking for new ship on Netflix. They spanning the old stuff. But the conversation that we're about to have is not about how good or bad or the content of their podcast. The point is their podcast is massive. Right. Um. I was aware of it because the blonde on the show was dating Noah's Syndergard to the Mets, right, And so I wanted to see who she was because she had a lot of followers, and she was putting up clips, video clips of what looked like their podcast, and I'm like, oh, this is raunchy. And so it's it's a very it's like podcast pornography. Let's put it this. It's how the slices want this podcast to be. But we're not. Okay, again, why don't you just do a commercial for them? Scary people, that is people on our podcast to be more raw than it is. Sometimes we hold back scary. This podcast is not about graphic sexual content. That podcast is and again I'm not doing a commercial for it. Can you stay focused? I know you're thinking about graphic sexuality here, but stay focused on the topic. These Oh my god. Anyway, they're very good at what they do, and the podcast blew up there extly, of course, stop it. So you're talking about two girls who had no radio experience other than they're very sexual creatures and they like to talk about sex graphically, and they live very graphic sex lives. If if what they say is accurate, which it sounds like it is. And so the podcast went from two girls with no experience, it blew up and became one of the biggest podcasts in in in America. Okay, well as as a lot of things happen with rock bands and duos and marriages. Sometimes things go wrong. There's disagreements, and sometimes you work through them and sometimes you don't, and sometimes you create a podcast around that called the brook Boys podcast that that's correct. Try didn't get along for twenty years, and so what happened with this podcast? Because Scary got in touch with me like a week and a half ago, and it's like, you gotta look at this video. You gotta listen to this audio. You gotta follow what's going on. They had a contract dispute with the guy who owns bart stool Sports. Right, you may know him as the pizza review guy who comes on and says, hey, just one bite, Hey, Frankie, and and he goes. He comes out of the pizza, Rhea's with the pizza, takes like seven bites and then gives it a rating and review. That's the pizza. Yeah, he is the president and CEO of Barstool Sports. His name is Dave Dave Portna, Right, Dave, So, Dave uh, try to explain that there was some contract problems. They signed a three year deal. Again, they were nobody's right, and they signed a three year deal, which is, you know, it's a nice it's a nice pat on the back and sign of um belief right that they believe in you for three years when you had no experience that you're gonna do well. And the thing blew up. So like a football player who signs a five year deal and then becomes rookie the year wants a new contract. They wanted more money. So Scary was like, oh my god, you gotta hear this. Dave took over their podcast channel and and and and and basically put out a podcast of him saying what his point of view was on the out. They haven't put a new episode. Imagine somebody came to the Brooklyn Boys podcast feed because he weren't doing it for a month and a half and everyone was asking questions, and then someone from my Heart came on and said, hey, here's what's going on behind the curtains that you don't know about, and issued this podcast. That's what they did on their feed. That's what Dave portn I did on their feed, which I thought it was hilarious Daddy speaks, which is great because that's like title, but don't go there now to listen, Okay, So I found it fascinating. But what was interesting was he talked about the negost Creations and he talked about how they have merchandise and they held their own a line of alcohol and how much profit they get. And it was depressing to me and scary because it's some at some point, right, they talked about how one of the girls wanted to deal and one of them didn't, and and I'm shortening the story by a lot and I'm just listening to there's a lot more details. Okay. So it was fascinating as podcasters to listen about other podcasts, right, even if you didn't even if you didn't like their podcast, it was fascinating listening to the boss saying I offered them everything now. And if you're listening, by the way, and if you're a listener of any podcast like ours, listen to that owned that episode specifically because it gives you the politics and the work around what's going on behind the scenes and the what really is happening if you really want the curtain pull back on what's happening with podcasting for the big names like at Joe Rogan and things like that. Listen to that. It gives you a sense of what really at play now. Two big things came out of this for me, well three things. One of them was that they were fighting over Now, if you if you do a podcast for somebody, most likely they owned the podcast. They own what's called the I P, not the IP address the intellectual property right. It's like when it's a long time ago. But when David led Himan left NBC and went to CBS, NBC owned a lot of his intellectual property, so he couldn't do stupid petricks for a while. He couldn't do the top ten lists for a while because the network owned it. So we had to negotiate back for any catchphrases or anything. So if we left here, we might not be able to which by the way, I'm okay, we's scary. Scary, don't jump ahead, don't jump ahead. So one of the things was they were threatening to leave and go do their podcast somewhere else, but if they did, they would lose their intellectual property, meaning they couldn't call their fans by the nickname they call them it's scary, it's not important. Uh. They couldn't use um in other words, like we couldn't call you guys slices anymore. Are They couldn't use any of their benchmarks, any of their terminology, they couldn't use the name, they couldn't use anything. So they losing all of that is like half your identity, right, So they had this huge thing. Number two. One of the bones of contention was the blonde on the show did all of the editing, which, by the way, a lot more editing than what we do on this podcast. We really don't have any editing. We just recorded and post it. But apparently she was taking like three hours of a podcast and moving stuff around and editing it and whatever, and she was doing all the social media for the show, and so she wanted more money than the other person. Now why do I bring this up? Well, technically, Scary does all the Brooklyn Boys social media, and he does whatever little editing there is, and he posts the audio. By the way, Scary the guy who last week didn't post the audio by mistake. Because Okay, so I'm hearing all these things about their podcast, I'm going, wow, good thing, we don't have that problem, right, because we don't nitpick of a who does want, who brings more conta who talked we don't care at the moment, right a year from now, who knows. But at some point in this podcast, he's he wants to talk about how Barstool Sports did the right thing by these girls and offered them a lot of money. And so part of the deal was he said, I even offered them their I pay their intellectual property and by the way, slices. Just so you know, when Scary and I were negotiating the initial contract for this podcast, the first thing I said was I want to own the name and the intellectual property of this podcast. And we were nobody's like, we didn't have we didn't have any listeners. And our company said, you guys aren't anybody you can have it, and so we own our own podcast. I say that it's the number one. The slices, you guys, will always be slices unless Dave Portnoy calls us and offers us the kind of money he's paying these girls. Um, and if you're a podcasting company and you want to pay us a lot of money, we are available. I'm joking. I heart we love you anyway at some point, at some point in this podcast, to show that he tried to do the right thing by these girls who were, by the way, making seventy five dollars a year for three years. That's what they agreed to. They agreed to that in the beginning, before they were anybody, right, when there were nobodies, when they when they didn't have a podcast. Um, somehow they did get a raise to a hundred and twenty five dollars maybe, okay, and then through negotiations, scary and correct me if I'm wrong, they were asking for five hundred thousand dollars a year and a larger percentage of the merchandise and the alcohol. Is that accurate? I believe, So I have to remember I cannot confirm that, so stop telling him to Okay. My My point was, first of all, Sex Cells number number two. Um, guys listening to this podcast, we don't get paid for the podcast. I just want you to know, we don't. We do not get paid to do this pot. I don't get paid do walkers and talkers. We don't get paid extra for doing the fifteen in the morning show. So I'm gonna tell you that zero If you do the math. You can google. It is less than five thousand dollars. So I think what we've seen to be doing everything right. But we're clearly doing something doing something wrong because we own the show. But we're not making five We're not making anything. Now. I will tell you that when we have sponsors, we do make a little bit of money, right, of course, a little bit. And I was told we might be getting back a sponsor for Father's Day that we had last year for Father's Day, but I don't want to say anything because we don't have them yet, and it's getting kind of late in the game because Father's Days three weeks away, so good luck on that. Yeah, well okay, But my point was, I think we should call the podcast instead of call her daddy. We should go with call her, call her grumpy, call him grumpy. Yeah, um, alright, So so what do you think, man? I think, Well, in other words, it was it was it was interesting to listen to the saga. And by the way, this went back and forth a YouTube videos and the New York Post. There was a lot of stuff in the media about this. This made it spilled over into the real world. Yeah, by the way, she's looking for a co host. So if you are of any age and any persuasion, but you are very open and graphic about your sexuality and you talk well on podcasts, go for it. All. Right, Well, I'm done promoting them. My point was they're they're they're good at what they do, or not only one of them is good at what they do, because there's only one person took the deal and one didn't, so i'm terrible. Imagine this podcast if it was just and and look when I say this, I don't need you to tweet us and who you like better and who it would be? No, no, no, But imagine this podcast was just brody or just scary or just scarier, just brody. It wouldn't be the same. There wouldn't be the back and forth, the the interaction I would I would be there's nobody to like to throw. I think you could do a podcast by yourself and just clearly you just you just scream into a microphone and just just go for it. You absolutely can. Are you saying that I'm talented? Are you saying that oftentimes this podcast sounds like it's just me screaming into a microphone. You take that way, I'm just gonna leave it right there. They stay on the big network. Right there, we got leave right there. Yeah, I love that. I'm staring at my my hard drive. So many jokes. Now, you wouldn't get that now now right there, if this was a podcast with you by yourself, right, I wouldn't be there to set up that joke that you're about to do because I know you're about to do a joke. I was just wondering, you know, because you wouldn't even Yes, I just want to know if you were going to try to s your own HD, right, I was gonna say, you might s my own s my own s D S s D. It's a solid state whatever, but it's a hard drive h D h D s D h D. Well, you are kind and those are the kind of ruined jokes you'll get on the Scary Jones podcast. My point is. My point is again, um, by the way, you know the band Kiss right, of course you do. So in eight they were one of the biggest bands in the world, but they were going through some creative differences and and they thought they could do you know, no wrong, and everything they did was perfect, right. So it's a long time ago. The four members of Kiss released their own listen if this is a factual stuff, it's good stuff. The four members of Kiss released solo albums. How do they do well? So each album had their Kiss makeup face on the cover, and they all wrote or produced their own music for the most part, right, And they all thought they would do equally well because you know, if you're a fan of Kiss, you buy all four albums. Right, what a great idea, sell four times as much music. Here's the problem. One of the albums sold a lot more than the other three albums. Ace Freely, the guitar player, he probably had the best or one of the two best of the four, and so he started wanting more publicity and maybe a little more say in the band, and it got got anyway, it didn't help, and and shortly thereafter the band started breaking up because it caused in a turmoil because the guy who came in fourth place was depressed and the guy who came in first place was like, hey, I out sold everybody else, I'm the best guy in the bast That could have been the spinoff band in their turmoil. Sure if if those kind of band names were popular back then, shure. My point is I am not going to suggest that you and I do separate podcasts to see who gets more podcast listens, because that's also have our other projects that we do, and and my my other by the way, my other project that I do the the Speaking Volumes podcast, which was a spinoff of a spinoff of the off air show my old podcast UM that went video, and I just had a conversation with Chair, my co host, that we are we're going to continue down the path of doing video podcasts because we think but first of all, the listens spiked like ten times. It was like ten times they listen ten times the views as the listens, So yeah, what was shared? What was share wearing? That's exactly it, you know, And it wasn't my idea. She you know, this is gonna be terrible. She's like, she goes, I'm just gonna I'm gonna change into a different shirt for the podcast. I'm like, okay, by and by shirt it was a very low cut tank top. And then I'm like, you know what, if you're gonna do that, why don't we make sure that in the opening shot of the podcast you have your baby on your lap, Because I mean, people love cute babies. No, people love cute babies. It ruins the image of the boobs. Then no, no, I'm just trying to throw everything at the wall. If you think you don't want to remind people what the boobs were intended for. If you think, if you think of the formula you want to the boob sexual, you need to listen to call her daddy again. Because they know about keeping the boobs sexual. They would not bring breastfeeding onto their podcast ever. Ever, not breastfeeding. You're not hearing me. You ever? Here you have to see a good Super Bowl commercial. They say the recipe or kids and pets and like sex right and something. So I'm not on that order. Let's put all that in one frame. So she also has a dog. I'm like, get your dog, get your dog to come in to the Shotgies, that's what people want to see. I wouldn't I saying I want to see your dog. I want to see your baby on your lap. And obviously if you want to do the cleavage with the low cut shirt, be my guest. But the point that open, Wow, Dave Portnoy, look at you. I'm not gonna stop you know, so, So the screenshot and the opening shot of our podcast, of this visual podcast is now hard with the kid on the lab and guess what, My my formula works because a lot more people like what's this? Because if you don't gonna rely, I'm gonna rely on good content. What kind of dog is it? Okay? Men might go for the low cut shirt hold on, and women might be like, oh cute baby. They're not gonna go look. Look, they don't care about her boobs. So I'm saying there's something for everyone there. I don't know what kind of dog she has. The dog didn't make it into the shot. The point is this is this has got to be a recipe for a good video podcast. And I suspect that's why we got more listens or views because no one, you know, the listenership was low on that gay. But after after a while, she's gonna have to wear a bikini top and then and then paste these to keep people focused. You know, I don't I can't attest to that. I don't know where she's gonna go with this. But but the fact to yourself, you're pimping out your podcast with sexuality and babies. Hey, I'd like I'd like to think that Brooklyn Boys sells itself, not for five hundred thousand, clearly, Well then what is it gonna take? What's it gonna take? Obviously you already made it clear on the last two episodes you do not want to do a visual podcast. You don't want to do video. So okay, so what can we offer then? Content? How about we post the video? How about we post the podcast on time on Thursday and not let's find I get it until Sunday that you didn't post it. I think people, there are people that have reached out to me in private d M. What's up with Brody? What's this problem? Why does the one? Don't they have it? They haven't because if you listen to the podcast, I've said it, I have no interest in doing that. They want they said, what your hangout said? My hang up is we do audio. I'm not. That's what our podcast is, right. It's what you listen to on the way to work and the gym in the house, right, it's not a visual forum. And I'm sitting in my basement by my washer and dryer. I have no I don't I don't want to shave this morning. I don't want to. I don't wanna get dressed up. I don't want to do I don't want to put on a low cut shirt. By the way, if anyone's doing that, it's you. Listen to me. You're putting out the low cut shirty Listen, I have a low cut chin. Okay, there's two of them. Yeah, that's right. Okay. So my point about my hard drive, okay, yeah, I'm holding it in my hand right now. I just want to say one thing. Okay, what about the hard drive. This hard drive is a ten year old drive. And I started hearing it starting. It wasn't making any noises anymore. It started slowing up. This hard drive has ten years well actually our entire library of unedited phone taps on it. And now the thing fucking failed. As I was trying to copy it over to a new drive because I heard it dying. I went out to buy a new drive and I tried to copy it over and it just slowed to a grinding halt. It still mounts. Go ahead, joke go on, No, it still mounts. Do you joke up? The hard drive still mounts. I'll continue. And when it mounts, it it goes slow. When I started copying files and then it just stops and it says forty seven hours to go, and I'm like, oh, so I'm sitting here. So my brother stripped it. He pulled the clamshell off of the damn thing. And now now go ahead, do you do your jokes? You had a clamshell on your hard drive? No one, no one that you didn't post the podcast? Right? Well, anyway, the point the way, how do you have the most important hard drive in the history of the elvistre In Morning show and you don't have it backed up. I was trying to back it up. Do your joke, do your joke? You just did. Move on. So I was trying to back it up. It mounts, but now it doesn't back up. So it mounts, but it won't back up. And this is true, and I'm being honest. These are true words I'm using. I'm throwing them around words not for the hell of it. And so now the thing just sits there so I could see the material. It doesn't fail, but it fails to copy. It just wants to sit there like an old person that can't move anymore. Yeah. Someone, It's just like, it's like, so, now one, how do I get it? So no, so hold on. Now it's just a stripped down drive that's just sitting out of its box. So now it needs to dock ahead dock dock to connect to the computer. So the DOC connect to the computer, but it won't do anything. So now it looks like I have to go into data recovery mode and I've got to figure out a company. So I started googling places, and some of these places want like fucking three four dollars. You talking about three hundred sixty gigs of information? Yeah, yeah, yeah, because what happens is and I don't know why they haven't come up with a better system. And if you're a geek, don't don't tweet me. Um. They have to go into what's called a clean room, which is completely free of dust, like it's like a hazmat room, and they have to read the hard drive so no dust can get on it because I'm dealing with COVID basically, yeah, holy sh it, so no dust can get so they actually it cost a lot. There are there are places that will do it for like a thousand dollars. I've had to do it. Um, one time, I had the company pay for it. You might be able to get the company to pay for it if you show that it's work related and you weren't being an idiot and didn't back it up. It's an entire work related situations related material. It has nothing to do with personal There's no pictures on here. There's no video, there's no you know, there's no speaking volumes, podcast, low cut shirt podcast videos on there. It's none of that none. Oh well, okay, yeah, so the company paid for it the first time and then told me we're not paying for it again because you need to back up your hard drive. But they did pay for my laptop hard drive to be um to, you know, to have the information taken off. Well, this happened clearly as I was trying to back the heart. I was trying to do a good thing, and it just was like, nope, I'm done here. Well, if you were doing a good thing, you would have to back up. May I tell you a hard drive story as well? You can and we get to take another break. But go, no, no, this is a long story. You may want to take a break here. Okay, and Brodie talk about your hard drive there, Brodie, all right, scary. So, um, I have a desktop in my home office and I want to say a fifteen years ago, four score and years ago. So a couple of computers ago about fifteen years ago had a hard drive that and again fifteen years ago, I wasn't as cognizant about backing up hard drives as I am now, clearly, and I had whatever videos and files I had from fifteen twenty years ago, and then as I had kids, I would put all the photos and the videos. And when you take videos of your kids as they get older, technology changes, right, So I may have used a video camera and then a digital c D camera and then a handheld camera. And each time you put video, you take video. It's different formats. So older formats might have been dot m o V, dot a v I, dot mpeg, dot mpeg whatever. There's different suffixes for your files. Does that make sense? Yes? Okay, So this hard drive lasted me a while, and I want to say, I don't know ten years ago, maybe ten twelve years ago, the hard drive crashed, and it crashed similar to the way yours did, where you really couldn't use it because it was slow and it was clicking. Now, when a hard drive clicks, it means it's starting to go. It's starting to skip a little bit. You can hear that clicking sound. So I brought it to work and the guys at our job backed up all the information for me onto another drive, and it took like three days to do. They just put it on a Friday and let it set over the weekend and I think by Tuesday. And it copied the contents of this hard drawing where I had years and years of files, work files, whatever. Okay, but it didn't because it was copying the information. It didn't copy the folders. In other words, it wasn't like child a folder, child be folder, comedy folders, parody folders. It didn't keep all my files in the fall olders. It just copied all the files individually. So I had a list of like ten thousand folders files, right, So I organized them by file type JPEG's, movies, whatever. And over the course of a couple of months, I recreated files on my new computer. I put a backup hard drive on my new computer, so I have two hard drives in my current desktop, right, and I started transferring all of these files that were un labeled, some of them and not organized into folders onto this new backup hard drive and my other hard drive, so I had I had two copies of everything, so I had to sit there and manually take look at all the photos and put them in the proper folder file. Imagine that if you had like seventy folders of of files of pictures, your vacation pictures, your family pictures, your pictures of your dog, I had to put them all in folders. This was a number, many many many years ago. Yeah, And to be honest, I never finished that list because at some point it was too long. It took me a long time, and there's still a few hundred that I haven't filed. Well. Sometime last week, my oldest daughter came home from college and she started talking with my other kids about their old their old videos of them doing dance and gymnastics and when they were kids and all that, and I said, oh, I have it, but some of it's on SD cards from my old cameras, some of it's on on disks, and some of it is on this hard drive that to this day is not completely organized. Right, All the files are there, but not completely organized. Okay, I feel like I want to jump ahead, but I'm just listening to and not jump ahead, all right, okay. So I said, let me get together as many files as I can, and I'll put them on on a on a flash drive for you, because that was the easiest way for me to transfer the files so they could look at them. So I spent I don't know, an hour and a half on the SD cards and on the hard drive and I and I get as many files as I can. Now I'm also trying to be careful to make sure there are no files from fifteen years ago that I shouldn't put on there. Right, So I'm sorting. I'm sorting by file type and by name, and and I'm putting the files on this on the flash. I give her the I give her the flash drive and she she looks at everything and she's like, this is great. They're reminiscent. Great. Okay, the dad, can you get me more? This is not a lot, I said, all right, but I have to go to the backup hard drive. Now, this is all the stuff from the st cards and the current hard drive. So I have to go into that big hard drive with all the old files, and some of them is sorted and not sorted. So I go back in my room. I'm in my office at home and and I spent another hour and a half and I'm I'm meticulously putting it on thumbnail view, and I'm I'm putting it on, you know, and I'm looking at all the videos. I'm making sure that there's nothing who knows from fifteen years ago? What's on my who knows? So at this point, it's like one o'clock in the morning, and I and I she's still up because is no school, Uh going to school? And my youngest by the way, who's fifteen. And I go into her room and I handed the flash drive and I said, here's the last batch that I can find, uh without me going into the garage and looking at old discs from video cameras, which I can do, but here's everything. Okay, she said, Well, I'm going to bed. Great. Next day, I wake up, I don't know, ten o'clock. So it was Saturday, so it was the weekend, right, So it's about a week ago. Now at this point, about a week ago. We go and I'm in the shower and I hear pounding on the bathroom door. So I go so I'm like, I think I hear the door. The radio's on. I hit pounding on the door, and I said, what's the matter, and my fifteen year old yells through the door. You gave me porn somehow. One file from I don't know how long ago that I labeled I labeled a yeah, which is the same initial as my youngest daughter ended up on the flash trial where the stands for as well. I don't know what they stood for fifteen years ago. I don't know. But my point was, now, so now, how do you back out of that one? Okay? How do you dismount? Okay? So, first of all, she was looking at the files at the dining room table with all my kids and my wife and one of my daughters and my daughter's boyfriend, who was Why wouldn't she have been viewing it at a viewing party with her friends on a big screen. Yeah? So so not so. So here's the thing. Not only has this happened now while I'm in the shower, but I can't even go out and defend myself because I have to finish showering, get out of the shower, dry my hair, dry myself, and put clothing on. And while I'm doing this, this is like eight minutes right after. So during this eight minutes, now I'm living with the fact that I've subjected my daughter and by the way, don't tweet me that she's probably seen because she had not. And so now, by the way, did you did you? And after that review exactly what it was you sent her? Okay, So as I'm getting dressed in a in a panic, I'm thinking to myself because I don't, I don't know any I don't who looks at files of porn anymore? And I hadn't. I don't, I don't even I don't even know, like who if someone sent this to me, I don't know how I got it. It's it's from a really long time ago, right, I don't. I mean the women had bush. I don't know how old it was. But the point was Now I'm thinking, what was in a video of Like I know it wasn't any personal videos because we don't do that, but I'm thinking, was it like some crazy ship, like did somebody like did scot Be send me something? Because it was crazy? Right? Was two girls? Was it? No? No? No? That I could have explained as a joke, like as a as a viral phenomenon. It was like the first viral porn video. So I'm like, how long, Like how long into the video did did crazy shit start happening? Like was it like a pizza delivery where it's like three minutes of pizza talk? Like I don't know how much she saw? Like what did she see? What category on porn hub would this have been part of? Like I don't know. So I finally get dressed and I go downstairs, and now everyone was looking at me with anger, like you asshole, like like what your wait? Your wife and kids? Well, well she you she screamed it. Oh god, the whole house knows. Plus she was sitting at the table dirty, looks all big time. And then one of them says, dad, what's pookaki? Oh god, no, no, no, no, no, um So what was it? And it was one video or several videos? No, it was just it was one. It was just and I deleted it immediately, and I went and checked my hard drive. There's no other files, right, it was just this one file that must have gotten transferred over ten years ago. Let me guess what you did to cover yourself, because I know you. You started killing you said, look, this is somebody sent this to me if from work and as a joke, and I started doing I started doing all of that in the eight minutes it took me to get dressed. I'm like, what, how do I explain it like that? I no, I told the truth. I said, I don't know how honestly, legitimately don't remember it. You were caught with your pants down while your pants were down in the shower. That's correct. Yeah, so so so that's what happened to me last weekend since we recorded the podcast. That's what happened to me. I love speaking of of crashed hard drives. Yeah, but what what what's crazy is technically, I mean that that was that was copied over at work. That was that was them doing me a favor. So had they checked the files my work people could have seen anyway it was any embarassing like that. Um, I had somebody from trying to help me out via a remote log in. It was a professional from the pro Tools company, the people that the audio software that we have, and he was promoted into my computer and he was looking at one of the drives and I see him with the arrow and I see him scroll over and one of them says rated triple x x x X. But what that was was actually sound files of porn that I needed for a phone tap. I needed to pretend at least in fact, we know what this phone tap is one of the classics. When I was watching. When I was watching, did you just put in that XX three? Whatever? The point is, sit Minutia brod please. So there was a phone tap I did. We're watching porn from your bed, And it was like I had to have porn clips of of you know, over the We've played it a couple of times, quite a few times. So that file was needed because I needed to select actual sound to play as a soundboard. So that was on my computer. It was it was on that hard drive and the guy's like, what are you doing here with this? X Hey? Can I put you on hold for a second. And I want to go upstairs and tell my family that that file was for a phone tap. I needed sound effects exactly there you go said. Look, the reason why I needed it was because just lean into it. No, I I listen, I'm an adult male. At some point fifteen years ago, twelve years ago, whatever it was, somehow I ended up with a file. Yeah right, anyway, um no, that this old clunky hard drive that crashed, you know, you were talking about crashed hard drives. They the fact that they still don't have the technology to easily fix that problem. Now I am, I'm out to buy a laptop from my mom, and they have now flash drives inside the hard drives, which which is not a hard drive disc. It's like a flash drive, like a jump drive. Pump out, pop out. I'm thinking of the porn sorry pump right. So the drives on is large, but what I've read and don't tweet me, it's not important. They don't crash as easily because they're not mechanical. Right. Well, yeah, well this, uh, that's what I was talking about. The S S D drive it's solid state drive? Is S s D? Right, it's an S S Did you just say SSD drive solid state drive? Oh no, it's I'm sorry, it's an S s D. Period. Why is my house line ringing? Nobody ever calls my house? Wait a minute, that's not true. You make everyone call your house line. That's not true at all. I don't know, I don't know people for calling yourself. You say I'm home only when I yeah, right, but it's it's it's the backup to my cell phone. So you said you get better reception on your right. But people don't ever call there first. They always call myself first. And then who calls the house first? Most of the time, will you do? Thank you? Because you're the only one ever my mother, my mother, my my friends. Everybody calls myself first, and I always say, call my house line. So he are somebody else other than you? Because I'm on the podcast with you is calling my house line? Who the hell is this? I'm a respectful person other than the fact I put porn on my young daughter's flash drive. Other than that, call my buddy Will? Is this Will who doesn't want to donate his antibodies and wants to go oh yeah, yeah, We get him on the phone because he wants he yeah. I could put him live on the podcast about how were you doing on? How are we doing on time? By the way, we're not We're not doing so well. Let's let's let's get Will on and I want to talk to him about how you refer to him all the time, and then uh, then we'll wrap this up. Because we've talked about Will on this podcast several times. I promised episode one thirty one, I will talk to you about how I made a profit off a flat tire. Okay, we'll do that. But but well, yeah, yeah, you could do that. Get Will on the phone, but quickly get and get Will on the phone. Get Well on the phone, Get down on the phone, get on the phone. Tell that. By the way, while I'm getting Will on the phone, when you tell everybody with that, tell him. We google that clip. I love that. Okay, google the clip of Casey case U yelling about Casey Cason. If you don't know, is was the Ryan Seacrest of the fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties. He did count on shows, he was a DJ, he was on TV, became very famous. Okay, Kaz case Um. He's also the voice of the original voice of Shaggy from Scooby Doo. A little bit of trivia for you. Most people don't know that. Well I know everything. So that's what happens when I'm an only child. So anyway, and by the way, I notice I didn't say it wasn't only child. And speaking of which, I am sick and tired of people saying on the news he was a retired four star general. No, he's still a retired four star. He he was a retired NFL player. Nope, he's still retired. He's just just right okay, all right. So so Casey case Um, you know DJs when you do countdown shows or even on MTV, when you watch MTV countdowns, they're not sitting there live watching the video, and then when the video ends, they do their part. They record the intros and the outros in twenty minutes or whatever, and then they insert them around the videos. They don't sit there and watch. They don't go, wow, how great a video? That everything is put in afterwards. So when you hear a countdown show, the DJ isn't listening to the song, and when he us how great was that song, he didn't listen to it. There's a chance he's never heard it or she So Casey Cayson would record all of the these top forty countdown shows and he would he would read letters from listeners when back in the days of people, and they would usually be like, Casey, my girlfriend of fifteen years or twelve years. We started dating in high school. She was the love of my life. We lived in a small town and we were friends as kids, but we didn't realize that we fell for each other in junior high school, and we had feelings and and she used to cook for me, and she became part of my long, long, long long. And then at the end and Casey, would you please play the horrible car accident? So for her, could you please play Baby you can drive my car by the Beatles, right? And he would read these like emotional dedications. The loved ones are dead people. And so there's this one where someone asks him to read a dedication to their dead dog. And so he as he's reading this thing, he didn't preview it. He gets very upset and starts yelling and cursing, and he starts screaming about the dead dog dedication. Dog goddamn death dedications. He starts on the phone get Don Don Bustani, who was like the I guess the executive producer or a writer for American. He wants to complain to the guy who told him to read this script because because he doesn't want to go into those up tempo records. Man, he doesn't want to do the death dedication. Do you want to go into a deat dedication to a sad song? So he was livid. So he tries to get through the letter several times. Imagine if you will. Somebody asked Elvis to read a letter. Hey, my cocker spaniel died in a fire. I don't know how I can go on living. Here's Happy by Farrell, please play we Didn't Start the Fire by Billy Joel, So that kind of thing. So anyway, minute, did you think that you think that we Didn't Start the Fire was a better example than Happy by Farrell? Yes, because it has the word fire in it, because somebody would actually say, oh, it has the word fire in it yet, right right, right right, very funny anyway, But point is, uh, so I got listen to the audio Google and Google Casey Casum had presented himself as the most wholesome sweet na. Hey, it's CAZy Gazum and he a scoop, you know, g scoop. And so here's this guy curt yelling and screaming. You're like, oh my god, is that Casey? And it was in a time before social media, and it was like in the seventies, and somebody took that outtake and somehow it went viral. So it's I tell you, and he gives usn't a time that you wouldn't get something like this. Now, she goes viral all the time, and the engineer you outakes fired for releasing that, like hold on, hold on, there's outtakes of Elvis right that Froggy has. Okay, we're not gonna talk about you can't talk about that, but that doesn't exist the hold on, hold on, well, well, hold on a second. Okay, buddy, I'm gonna I'm gonna give a little secret. We're on the past. By the way, I know somebody that worked on the audio of one of Witney Spears's earlier albums and played for me which can never be released to the public, and I don't have it played for me, the audio of what Britney Spears sounded like before they they auto tuned her and fixed her and from background vocals and and so girl can't sing, is what I'm saying. You mean, you mean that wasn't all natural all those years? Have you ever heard the audio? If you you know, guys, you know Paul McCartney is from Wings and the Beatles, the Beatles right well, because I'm making a reference to the band Wings. After he left the Beatles, Paul McCartney formed a band called Wings Paul McCartney and Wings, and in the band wings was his at that time wife Linda McCartney. Okay, and they had done a concert and all the microphones. When you do a live show, each microphone records into an audio board on its own track, right, so that you can raise or lower the vocals of each singer. And so somebody had the audio of his wife, Linda Cartney. You could look it up on online, of only her vocals, and it's very, very bad that she is in the band because her husband is Paul McCary. Do you remember Jennifer Lopez from the TV show and Living Color. Yeah, but so there's a song like it's band on the Run and she's like really bad. No, that that's another viral thing. Um ye, speaking of viral things, my buddy Wheels on the phone. It's up, buddy. Huh, how are you we're talking? Yeah, well we were talking about your antibody test and that you were proudly positive. Yeah. Well, uh, you know, according to some of the some of the headlines, I don't think it really means much, but it's definitely fun to give people a not sure who don't have it exactly. But what I wanted to what I did tell everybody earlier and I shared with Brody and the and the slices, was your theory about people with antibody tests and why they and what they should have on? Yeah, well they should. I think if you get if it's an official, uh you know, a lab result, then then you get like a little a little batch or some kind of card that allows you to go back out when they reopened the bars. Let's let the people who are considered to be you know, not gonna reissue that getting sick or you know, but I don't know. They haven't said they can't spread it right least you know. The reason is because I went to go get I ran out of my house when I heard that. Heard the ice cream trump the other day that I wanted to mistake from Mr Softie, And I ran up to the window and the guy had his Mr Softy mask on, and you know, not in any kind of malicious way, but he said, where's your mask? I said it's okay. I said, I'm I got antibodies and he lasked and he said, congratulations. Oh well, good thing soft isn't aware. That basically means nothing. Yeah. By the way, the good humber Man also not a doctor. Could you diet Mr SOFTI could you diagnose me? I have the shakes? Doctor, And and speaking of which can I have exactly? By the way, the the the ice cream truck comes by every day on our street. And uh so yesterday the ice cream truck, the ice cream truck came by and we all ran outside. But my kids know, you grab a mask, you put your mask on your face, right, so they're all, I grab the mask. And there's a family across the street with like six kids and none of them wear masks, so they stand like ten ft away from us while we get ice cream because the truck stops on my side of the street because that's the side of the window of the truck. So it's one of these um ratchet ice cream trucks. So they don't have they don't have the brand name ice cream, so they have like yeah, so I want the Good Humor ice cream and they have blue Bonnet. Now blue Bonnet it maybe a good company. I don't care. Don't you know to tweet me, But it's it's like knockoff versions of Good Humor. When you eat it, it's like it's like Hunt's ketchup. It's like not, it's not right, right, It's like when you you know chocolate bar that isn't Hershey, and you go, it's not really Hershey. It's chocolate, but it's not that classic Americana taste. And I need my good humor ice cream anyway. Will, I have two questions for you, actually three number number one. We've talked about this before. I've known you probably twenty years. Scary as knowing your twenty years right, You are the only You are the only Will in our lives. We don't work with any Wills. Scary, don't have any other friends name Will. But he only refers to you as my buddy Will. It's like on this podcast I I I joked him when I ordered when I order Chinese food, I order Rose Pocolomano vegetables. It's one word, right, coconos. One word because it's the only way I say it. He only refers to you as no buddy Will know it's m my buddy Will. Well, because you have a one You have a one syllable name, so it could get lost if I say, Will told me that, and it's like who, So I have to say my buddy Will to add some syllables as a wrap up to your name. It's really and something that I do that I don't even think about. But it's not because I I assume there's other Wills in the world. I'm wondering. And plus your name. Your name is a noun, it's also a verb, and William it's not a verb. Yeah yeah, so um it's actually yeah, well, you want to will someone to do something, or you will. So my point is if you guys don't aren't friends anymore, you'll have to refer to you as my ex buddy Will or my former buddy Will or that. But like I don't like he will or that as whole will, my my former buddy will now will Will. Was there a time after you got the diagnosis that you have antibodies? Was there, at least please tell me there was. Was there a split second where you thought, I'm gonna consider other people and donate my my my antibodies to maybe help someone or is it simply you wanted to go to bars? Be honest, No, and and that serious. I I thought, perhaps, like you know, because the town was offering I live in Jersey City, so they were offering free, uh test things for residents. So in the back of my head I was thinking, I wonder if they're gonna reach out because now they have all my information and ask would you like to donate? You know, plasma or however it worked? I don't really know, right, But were you worried? Were you worried they were gonna reach out to you? Like jury duty because you can volunt here? Yeah? I mean, you know, if it's something that I don't even know where, you don't for that? Do you thought to someone I would I would donate? I supposed. I mean, it's not something that was at the forefront of my mind. But I'm not against it. I'm not afraid of needles and things like that. I'm guessing that I have enough to land. I'm not gonna empty my body out. Uh busy, but uh you know, okay, So you are you are? You are not a hero, That's what I'm hearing. You are not a hero because you could have googled? Could you could? You could google how to donate? You're like, I don't even know how to donate, and I find out how to donate. But here's the other thing. All everything I've read, if you have people who have said I thinking poor test too? Are positive too? Are not positive? So doesn't even mean anything to happen, right, I don't even know if it's just something that that is legit as you've done in the beginning. You know, why do you want to go out the bar? Do you think you're you think you can't harm other people? Can you still carry it? I don't know. I'm not a I'm not a doctor. Well, I'm gonna I'm gonna. I'm not giving any political view on this. I'm just gonna quote the President of the United States when they told him that the Abbot the Abbot Quick test had false results, he said, well, then I'll just take it again. Oh okay, so right, so there you go. So if you get false results, just take it. Can Yeah, you know if I I know that from the from us from playing roulette at the casino that if you literally, if if it's black, you're playing black and red, and red has come out the last thirty times. The odds of red coming out again are Yeah, but that's all. That's what's called the gambler's fallacy. There's most people. Yeah, if you just keep doubling down right right, it's got black, it's guts to come out next. Because because look at all the times red came out. That's not you. It's still one and two folks, right. The problem is the ball, the ball in the roulette table doesn't have a memory. Yes, it doesn't know that it came out black three times in a row, so it has not increased its odds of landing on red. And people that again, I always say this, that's why the casinos are so big, because people are stupid, because people aren't good at the math things right. And then they put up these big expensive L e d s attached to the roulette wheels, saying here are the hot numbers, here are the cold numbers, and they're all waiting and seven hasn't come out since two days ago. I'll put my money doesn't know that it's still to one. Folks. At the Borghanta, one time I have witnessed. I stood there for almost fifteen minutes at the entire number board build up with red, and with every number that passed, more money piled up on black, and everyone was just setting and betting and betting. It was unbelievable. I mean, obviously it eventually hit, but people walked away and part of that time because they didn't lost so much money. It was not coming up, So it is impossible to fill an entire board. So well, what is the You have another question for Will before we wrap this podcast? Yeah? Well, how long would you say you've been good friends with Scary? Wow? Uh, let's go back to ninety years? Yeah? Okay, Will. By the way, our it was was actually intern four Elvis dur in the Morning Show. He was like our first intern. Wait back before I worked there, before I work hire him. I didn't hire him. He wasn't one of my interns. Yeah, okay, So well, twenty three years, whatever it's been, you've been friends with Scary? How often do you how often do you listen to this podcast or speaking Volumes podcast that he does with his would share his female cost how often? Uh? Why don't? I don't purposefully tune and I'll put it on if he if something, if he tells me something good? Is you know? Like you that right? So what we okay? I don't All right, So what we've learned is you're not purposely going to donate antibodies unless they call you, and you don't purposefully you're not. So you're not a hero or a good friend. Okay, So he has my question too, Scary why are you friends with this guy? Number one? But to to Will, Will, Will, are you more likely to tune into Scary's other podcast with this female co host if it's if it's video and she wears a low cut shirt while holding a baby and a dog, do I say yesterday? I mean, I'd be honest if I say, Hey, shares wearing a low cut shirt? You know you gotta see that as opposed to and you are you as opposed to Brody is gonna bitch about the fed fed X and a package didn't come for three weeks? Do you want to hear that? Where are you going? Where? Where are you? Where? Where are you going? Also? Yeah, I want to also factor this in, Will are you gonna take time to watch a video podcast of a mom with a low cut shirt in a world where where you can get poorn easily? Ask my kid? Well you would give him a chance to answer the question, Brodie, Well, go ahead, my buddy will wear off. I've heard I've heard Brodie's rants that they are hilarious, So I'm more likely to tune into your rant over her woked cut shirt because I could sleep at any time. Right there you go? Now now, Will once what I wanted to say, and no offense you guys or your other podcasts scary, but I tune in for content and like, I like a good interview. I'm a good you know, like Howard Stern's old days yet great interviews. Now he just kind of goes off on a tant. You know what, you know what else saw with Joe Rogan. You know what else Will likes? You know what else Will likes recently? He likes Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy, and the Call Her Daddy podcasting. That kind of got stopped at me. What did you say that, Will? What was that? What was that? What did you like about it? There was a lot of drama about a week because the whole thing we just talked about it for the last fifteen minutes on this podcast about the dramas like an hour an hour ago. But you know what, the drama, the drama, the drama was more interesting than the podcast. And that's and and the podcast is good, well yeah, but the drama was great. I don't I've never heard of podcast, not likely will never listen to it. I got looped into Dave doing an emergency break in and yes, I think you're the one that sent me the link. Yes, scary sentence everybody. I started following the story, and now that it's fizzled out, she got her job back and and to me, it's over. But I've never listened to it, and I don't know that I ever would, you know, I think that's I think that's accurate to a lot of things. I still think that we need to create some drama on this podcast to like get some get some headline attention. I think we need to add a dog and trauma. You want drama, you want to you want all? Right? They will? Ay Will? If Scary and I split up into If Scary and I split up into two podcasts, the rants that I do that you find so entertaining or whatever Scary does? Right, which one would you mean? More like to listen to what I'd get a new name. I'd be that that asshole will love you? Hey, By the way, everyone that was my buddy, Will, That was my buddy, Well it's your buddy, Will my new buddy. Now what's going on here? Are you taking a lawn chair to the pier? We gotta I gotta cut down my new Tommy Bahama Man's chair. You know, Yeah, Hey, hey, scary. Before we let will go and wrap up the podcast, ask him the question about if he says he didn't he's lying. Okay, we've all tried it as kids or at some point in our life. Kids, have you kids have kids? Be honest? Have you ever tried to suck your own dick? All right? Yes, just the other week? Actually see this, we get, we get desperate and quarantine. Thank you will Okay, we welcome. Welcome to the Call Her Mommy podcast. Heym so, yeah, you you you get that beach chair ready? And uh and I don't know, maybe I'll join you. It's a beautiful afternoon. I'm done being in this house. Let me know. We want through a lot of searching for that deal offline outside of the store. That's another we have to talk about that next week. That's on my list of how I got scamboni, how I got scamboni from my Tommy Bahama beach chair, and then what I did to rectify the situation. But now twice this week there's a you have a brody. Brody might think that that paypalney glad to get no free dessert off this one. But we'll talk about that next week because we're way over over time here. I love that Will's quoting me. That's great. Thanks, well, my buddy, Well everybody, we'll have a good afternoon. Thanks. I let it. Well, okay, I'd love to be able to connect phone calls directly from the board, directly into the podcast. We should take phone calls the next podcast. What do you think? But I'm glad you spent ten thousand dollars and that equipment and didn't back up your Okay, it goes up every time. You're a douche. Thank you. All right, let's get out of here. You're gonna find some more porn or did you leave all of that on VCR tapes? Back in Boys Brock Brooklyn Brookline back Boys Brock Brooklyn
