Speaker 1: We had a debate today on the show, but whether a hot dog was a taco, whether a taco was hot it was made no sense because if you think about it a hot dog. People who always say that hot dog is a sandwich, but they said it can't be a sandwich because it's open. The sandwiches has two pieces of carb, right right, So there's like, well, if it's one continuous piece of carb, which it is, then that could be that's a taco. Then someone pointed out that the hot dog is not the hot dog in the bun together. It's just the hot dog. Let me tell you something. A hot dog is not a hot dog unless it's a Feltons hot dog. Boom. We love Feltons of Coney Island. I gotta say it's a little bit of an obsession right now. It really is. Feltons of Coney Island. Great partners of ours, of course, but not just because they're there and they're hanging out with us and they've showed us their hot dogs and then we ate them. They did show us their hot dogs. How they got us, but we tasted the difference and we're like we were sold from day one. You know, sometimes you eat a hot dog you don't know where you're getting it from. You don't know what's in it. You buy a Felton's hot dog, you already know there's no night traits, no night trites. It's it's made with better ingredients, right, no fillers. They're all natural and of course they're perfect for this time of year. Maybe your team might be going to the playoffs. You're sitting out their tailgames. My team is not. Is your team going to the playoffs? No, so I guess I'm gonna have an indoor barbecue, not gonna be tailgating with the Jets and the Giants. Uh F E L T. M A N. S of Coney Island dot com. You gotta check them out. There available at Kings and Bell, Ducie and Mrs Green's. Uh, that's there. And if you're in the vicinity of Coney Island in Brooklyn, stop by right there on Surf Avenue. They got their brick and mortar store. But of course you but lots of people they shop online. Yeah, go on to Amazon dot com, Jet dot com, Felt, Corney Island dot com just have them sent to your house. Yeah. Charles Felt in the originator of the hot dog, in eighteen sixty seven. He was the man. You can't question the originator. Uh start up up, Brooklyn. I feel like we should just cut the song off dot up making noise, not up up episode, since we put an episode together. Right now, everyone's yelling at their no, this is sixty six. I'm so fucking pissed. Why are you pissed? Next that time of yeah, man, oh well you're you. You claim to be busy. That no, no, no, no, not one brody, but two glittery cards came in for the holidays. Glitter Everywhere ship. Yeah, I saw this ship. I fucking hate glittery cards. Glitter cards suck. My daughter got a glittery card and I had a picker. I take it I picked up at school and take it a work. Look at my fingers. Yeah, So she puts the glittery card on the center console in my car. Look at my shirt. I see it. Yeah, you wear a dark brown shirt. So she gets out of the car and my cup holders a full of glitter. Now, and so what I'm doing is I'm licking my finger and I'm sticking it in the cup holder, you know, like pick up a couple of the time and then I get it on me. Then it's on my pants. Now it's on my car seat, it's everywhere. They say that glitter is the herpes of arch and crafts. It's the worst. So but these aren't just any other That's what people need to invent. They need to invent a non stick glitter. No, a stick glitter so it doesn't stick to you. Well, it's it's right to the car, maybe like glitter paint something like, which just doesn't stick to people. This is disgusting now I hate them as it is. But both of these cards I received a glitter so you can't even touch the card. You can't even be like careful with it without like I'm trying to open it and it's glitter getting on my fingers already. Look at this, I'm looking at my I'm looking at my hands there sparkly. So thank you so much. Listen, I love the people over at. Where did this come from? Oh? This is Kate from our buddy UK Chris, Chris Turner. He sent me this one, and of all people, Ellie Golding sent me the other. The Yeah, I got the all golden glitter card. That's like a glitter bomb. Please let's do away with glitter. Do you know that there's a statistic that we eat like three pounds of glitter in our lifetime inadvertently, there's also a stat about how many spiders you eat in the course of your life while you're sleeping either. No, yeah, because it's true because you put your hand to your mouth and then the glitter. Yeah, and you leave your mouth open and the spiders crawl in. Because right now, with glitter all of my hands, I'm bound to pick up food and it's gonna be it's gonna be like literally put into this was like a Friday night. Your girlfriend would think you were a strip club. No, really, you know there's there's strip clubs. I've read that. In the bathroom they have d strip club material, So they have a limp brush to get the hair of the other women off of you and the glitter. Yeah, and they have for breeze and they have like a stained stick in case you're getting lipstick on your white shirt. Why, which is why if I was going to a strip club, I would only wear doc red. That's perfect, yeah, so or you or you wear yellow so the blonde haird doesn't show up. I mean, if you thought about that, you have to be careful if you have a girlfriend that worries a body. My wife doesn't care if I go to a strip club, but the strip the strip club. Oh you know what else they do, which is pretty slick is when you pay for something, they give them more money. There's that They pretty much might as well hand over your wallet. Because I think strip clubs are highway robbery. But that's a whole other episode. I hate strip clubs, but I will say this, Brodie, if you think about it, they put on the credit card bail, they call it a steakhouse. They always do. They always disguise it so good. Good. Strip clubs don't have the name of the strip club when they run your charges on the credit card statement. So this way, if your wife gets a hold of your your credit card statement, it says, you know, GPS steakhouse. So all the all the big strip clubs do it that way, and I think that's pretty clever. But then again, you know, you know, your wife can investigate what is GPS steakhouse on your credit card statement and all roads will lead back to that address in that strip club, right, And I'll just tell her that I said I had to pay for dinner because Scary stows me steak dinner. So yeah, speak of steak dinners. You still owe me a steak dinner? Do I don't you do? I'll tell you why and that let's do okay, let's talk it out lett update and and now I can phrase it to the listeners exactly how you said it to me. Were you like, we're asking me questions? Okay, I was asking you questions? All right? Oh, all right, all right, hold on, let me get to let me get to for this. Okay, here, here we go. I'm sitting at my desk working and uh and oh, by the way, I was finalizing my intern hirings. Should I should I do the intern hirings today? I gotta tell you. I' gonna tell you I'll do it Thursday, which is which is episode for purposes of the podcast, episode sixty seven. I have an update. Tell me if I'm wrong and why I didn't hire a certain intern. I want to have my list proper and correct. Okay. So I'm sitting going through the interns, see whom and hire, and Scary comes up to me and he says, everybody, how much is a steak dinner? I said, what do you mean well, you know, an average steak dinner. If I took you to a steak dinner, what would what would it cost? I don't know. A hundred bucks depends on where we went, you know, nice steak dinner. Now keep in mind, if you've listened in order, which we know you did, I described the steak dinner as not only buying me to dinner, but spending the time with me, investing in the dinner. Right because you were like, oh, what if I give you a gift card? No? When and what if you had went to dinner with me and didn't pay for it. No, it's the whole package taking me to steak dinner. So you, I said, about a hundred bucks you and here you go, here's your steak dinner. We're even. And you handed me um a Google Home Hub the good boys to give the staff. Hold on, that's the wrong jingle. Free ship for us, that's right, free ship for us, because this is like a double because this is for us, free for me. Yeah, right, free ship for you. Hit the other chiger. That's the other jingle jingle hit that you know, the jingle hit that jingle commercial? Yeah, yeah, but hold on, how are you doing? Three? Segments at once. Try to consts our podcast. But hold on, let's go, let's start start from the beginning. We're gonna start at the end, the end, and then go back to the beginning. Start. You gave me a Google Home hoginning because you know, I love Google home I love Google phones, which are androids and you and I said to you, I was thinking, because I heard your commercial, you do the commercial with the Google Home Hub commercials work, by the way, And I said, oh, I scary. I really want to get one of those. Thank you for reminding me. But you did say, hey, look no, no, no, you said scary. Yeah, I said, I said, do you get them? Can you get me one? Right? And you you said, I said maybe, yeah, And I don't know, and I gotta say something. I went to the wall, the wall, the wall, the wall for you to get a Google Home houp. So hold on, hold on, described to me how you well, the reason why I had to play the jangal because the Google Home Hub is that client. I just said, right, okay, so yeah, I was gonna say, you got me something expensive. Not expensive. They're hu, yes, not but okay, they're a hundred and fifty. But they're worth a lot more. I mean it's really a cool thing, you know, much more than that anyway, So there are a hundred fifty dollars each, and Brodie really wanted one. So I went to make some things happen, and I made some requests and they came and I said, they said, you know what, we give you one scary one, one Google Home hup. So the one that I was gonna have from me for free, I decided, I'm going to ask Brodie if he would like that Google Home Hub. It's because Brodie really wanted it, so I gave it to you. Brodie, I said how much? I said how much? Just steak dinner? And you cat about seventy. You took me somewhere great. I said, here's a Google Home Hub. We're even no. He said, boom, here's your steak dinner. And you gave me to look like stuck on it. I almost like you got two steak dinners for free. And I said, first of all, I said, thank you very much, because it's a great gift, very excited about it. And then I said, that's not a steak dinner because I asked you for the hub and you gave me the hub. Had I not asked you for the hub and you knew I wanted it, they'd be like, oh, that's a nice present. But I now I took the hub out of my mouth. I was gonna have that was gonna be my Google Home Hub. I'm actually, where's the one you that they let you use for the commercial? They gave you a demo. When I saw you playing with it, I asked them for that one. I sacrificed my Google Home Hub and gave it to you because I figured you asked for it, you wanted it, and that so that's that's me sacrificing. That is me. So are we even with the steak dinner? No, we're not even for the steak dinner because you just I just gave you. I handed you Google Home Hub that could have been mine if I if I owe you. Listen, you stole me concert tickets. You didn't take me to the the Victorias Secret fashion show. You've been take me a sebast manns Scalco. You owe me a lot of ship, but you owe me a steak dinner. That means let's go, let's get dressed up, go to a steakhouse. Buck You're not anything because you've got a free Google Home Hub, which, by the way, I know you're gonna send a copy this audio to the sales team and they're gonna make itself look good that we talked about it. So now you owe me more. No, but I don't have the Google Home Hub in my possession. You do. But I'm gonna here's what's gonna happen. I'm gonna take it home this weekend, set it off. You're gonna call me on Monday to go, how is it is? A fantastic isn't it great? I'm gonna say, yeah, you're gonna pbaby, what do you use it for? And I'm gonna tell you what I use it for, watching videos, running my lights, turning them on and off, and and and running all my my Google Home products. And you're gonna say, oh, that's great that you can do a commercial and go, oh yeah, Brody has the Google Home up. He uses it everything. Then you're gonna use it in your endorsement. And I get Dick, So I've earned it, Not Dick, I've earned the Google Home You got free ship, good boys. They love to give the stuff free ship for us. What do you got, Brodie? You got some other I got more free shire ship for us, well the Google I got up his free ship for Brodie. No, no, that's I got a package that costs seven dollars and cents. The ship now, we got it over a week ago during the Tonica Uh. And it's addressed to us from Lauren Burger by the way, my favorite kind of burger. And she wrote on a little cute note here it says, dear Brody, this free ship is addressed to you because of the jew factor, but because I'm Jewish's Jewish hashtag tribe. But please share with Scary because I love him as well. Happy Tonica. She spelled it right. C h A n u k a h not hanaka at an h not hanaka at two ends not c C c A h to hanakah. It's hanka. She spelled it right. So she sent us Tonica cookies. Now what are hanaka cookies? First of all, they're free. That's always stepped one of a Jewish Cookio. I can make that joke. Bacon no, no lobster. Okay, now there's uh neither they use margarine or butter. That's not a thing. Yeah, it's well, you can't have them with meat. That's correct. You can have dairy with meat if it was the dairy in it. Nor anyway. So it's leaking, it's leaking, it's leaking crumbs, crumbs, crumbs. Anyway, We've got pink and blue Minorah shaped tonic. Oh my god, now hold on, I want to hold on gonnapen. He's up from riesmans could be Riceman's open. He's up. Thank you. Lauren Burger. Lauren Burger apprecip for us. I love that love that I have one. Yes, you can can cause I mean you want to cust some Safonia live on the radio. I'm gonna eat the blue one because I'm, you know, obsessed with the color blue, even though I sure you taste the same. Hold on, you know what real men eat pink? So I have a pink one. What you worry about that? I'm gonna enjoy that. Seven seven seven we're eating on the podcast. Here we are again, a bunch of goballs eating on the podcast. All right? Is that all you got? Well, that's all I got for free ship. Well, but I do have something about you, and a couple of things about you. I got one one today. I need your help from me. Yesterday oh, Lauren, those cookies are amazing. Good you you asked me on the air today, so I want Yeah, but you know what I needed your help yesterday when I couldn't get you Okay, what do you need my help with? I went to, um, we're in the Fort Lord Delle Airport, and we went to uh schule Burger because we were waiting for Don Shula, former Hall of fame, well, hall of fame coach, former up the Miami Dolphins. That's right, he's still a Hall of Fame coach, but famous for the nineteen seventy two perfect season of seventeen and oh for the Dolphins that you're seventeen and oh and uh Don Schuleburger. He had the Shula Steakhouse chain and now the Schula family hous the schule Berger Chack. They did that thing with the steak. If you eat the giant steak, then you get up on the wall because it was so big. I got I went to the steakhouse. I'll tell you about that in a minute. You go, coach, coach sEH if you're listening, probably not. You probably should show up to your schule Berger, especially the one there at the Fort Lourdale airport because it's blue eating money. Here's why. What do you expected an airport, brody? If anything, if if nothing else, and you're eating and you gotta gotta get some food. Speed speed, you feel the need for speed. This place was everything but speed. It was the slowest motherfucking line I've ever been on in my language. Whoa brody? I can't even Danielle and Gandhi from the Big Show, my witness. I get in line, there's three people in front of me. It took me twenty five minutes to get to the front of the line. They had broken screen, broken computer right there was several staff members just was wandering around. They were slow as molasses and taking the order. And then I buy. All I want is a shula barber and some fries and two other orders of fries and chicken tenders for the girls. That's all I wanted. We sat there at able remember twenty nine, sitting there waiting another half hour, and and the girls and I are staring at the line getting longer because now the lunch rush is coming. The line was out the freaking door, down the down the aisle. I could not believe. Down the concourse. They must have been about nine ten people in line, and we watched them over the course of the thirty minutes that it took to get our food, that that we watched people leave the line. I'm like, oh my god, if they do, they're losing money. They're bleeding money left and right. All this revenue is going out the window because people can't wait. They gotta catch their flights. You don't have you don't have a half hour, forty minutes to wait in line. And by the way, unbeknownst to them, i'mother thirty to get your fucking food. Because we're sitting there after the twenty five minutes of endurance of standing in that line that we had only three people in front of me. I'm sitting there with Gandhi and Danielle thirty minutes and then the Gandhi goes, I'm going to find out what's happening. She gets up, she walks over to where they're like literally dish out the food. Sits there for five minutes and watches as employees were fighting with one another. The line cook was arguing with the woman packing up everybody's food, doing the to go orders and the trade orders and to go he goes, she goes, give me an order, give me a fry, and the guy behind the counter goes, I don't see a ticket for that. I can't give you a fry, and then the girl the woman. The woman goes, oh, yeah, well you're on that side of the counter and on this side of the counter. So it was all hell that was breaking loose. These employees were fighting with one another. Nobody was on the same page. I blame it on the management. I mean it must have been a bad manager. And yeah, true, one of their two computers were down because they were working with the computer, but that's no excuse for not holding ass and getting everybody their orders. We it took us from the time. Then Danielle is like, oh my god, I can't believe it's time to board our flight. And we were there an hour early. We spent over an hour at a fast food place at Fort laud Hill Airport. So soon, Parker, dude, if I need the coach needs to come in and do a pep talk to the team because I said hashtag fumble hashtag in seventeen hastag hashtag not a perfect season. No, and by the way, to the person who tried to correct me and said, don't you mean, oh, in sixteen, because it's sixteen games. I said, no, it's actually fourteen regular season games in nineteen seventy two plus the three championship games they won make a total of seventeen. Remember first rule of being right, The first rule of correcting people be right, by the way, the first rule of quoting that phrase is get the phrase. But first rule of correcting people is be right. You're wrong in seventeen seventeen and O it was seventeen games that season, right now? The Patriots when sixteen and oh, that's a regular season, right right? But then they lost in the Super Bowl to the perfect regular season, not a perfect season season, right, thank you, Tyree. By the way, the forehead catch is my favorite, but the helmet helmet catch, it's more like the side of his helmet thing. God, that'll go down in history. Anyway, Brody, I needed your help. What would you have done? I did not. All I did was tweet about it, because, first of all, but let's see, by the way, and as of as of this morning, he didn't tweet back or say okay, so not that basted on Shula. But as a Jets fan, I'm gonna bash the Dolphins. I went to Shula Steakhouse a number of years ago. My wife and we were like, oh, it's one of the top places, top places. The steak was overcooked. I ended up getting it for freak. It was terrible. Uh there was like cornbread or something on the side, some kind of yellow thing that was that was terrible. The whole meal was bad. So luckily I didn't pay full price. But I'm so far the Shula uh empire not winning all over the Brooklyn bomb. And not only that, they're awful with customer service, because did you get your money back? Because here I paid full price, holloway. But here's the worst part. I tweeted about it. It's been twenty four hours since I tweeted twenty three hours. Uh, nobody's tried to slide into my d m s. And I copied on Shula himself and I and I copied at Schulberger on Twitter and the guest Don Shula doesn't know what Twitter is. He's on it, but anyway, okay, he's on it. The point is this, Uh here we are brody and they have not. They have not even like you know, Taco Bell United. Everybody they jumped to it, and they're like, what's your problems? M to our da taste of people want to know what is a he spells Schulenberger, s h u l A Burger now not like law, not like uh. That's by the way, it's funny that I'm sure somebody's realized it. Uh, say no to Schuleburger, say yes to Lauren Burger. There's a Burger themed episode. So as of right now, Lauren Burger, as of right now, nobody has gotten back to me in the complaint. So fu Schuileberger. Yeah, f you Schuleberger and and the people who worked there. And by the way, you should have at least in the very least respond to my tweet as a complaint. As a customer, I wanna make me happy. What would you have asked for? Well, first of all, I'd want my money back at the very least an hour you would have missed your flight. I would have wanted a gift card. I wanted something. I'm not leaving there without something. And since I'm never going back to Schuleberger or that airport, most likely for you know, how often do you go there? You every year? Once? Maybe maybe not even I want my money back. I didn't get my money back. Well, then you're an idiot. Well not an idiot, I'm just you were there an hour at the twenty minute mark. At the twenty minute mark, yeah yeah, Well what point do you actually go ask for your money back? Listen fast Food? First of all, twenty five minutes in line to order. Well that's that's okay, Well that's your problem. You don't get on that line. I got on that line. I waited, okay, then thirty minutes too for the food. We didn't not be honest, did you get on the line of Schuleberger because oh you heard they're really good. They get rated the really good. I gotta get some down here. There were two choices. It was Chili's took by the way, Chili's t o O. What are you? Uh? There are there are you know what Chili's two is. It's five of the things on the menu, not your favorite things, and they charge you more money because it's an airport. You're like, oh, I'll have the uh the half sized nachos for twelve dollars when in the restaurant the nachos are ten dollars full size, right, Well, that's what Chili's two. Uh, Chili makes me go number two. And by them if you're a manager of Chili's too, don't quote me just like don't like go technically, No, I'm telling you they over Chili makes me go number two. So I Taco Bell Express, you don't have everything I want that or the frigging And by the way, Taco Bell Express what a scam because Taco Bell only has seven ingredients. Everything on the menu is different variations of the same seven ingredients, So Express means you don't want to put some of those concoctions together. Well, I don't want to put seven lay Breto takes too long. All right, let's talk about you scary. We had our Z one jingle Ball last Friday, right, which is why we didn't do a podcast. We had all kinds of prep getting ready we guys. You guys had the Q one or two jingle Bowl and Philly on the Wednesday, which I'd like to point out I was not invited to, which is why I didn't go. Well, I didn't do the inviting. This Sunday had to win one hundred Miami jingle Ball. I like to point out I wasn't invited. Thank you very much. I didn't do the inviting. If I did do the inviting, you certainly wouldn't mind, Thank you very much, Brick. All right, So we didn't so jingle Ball Friday night. Now, we used to have after parties where everybody from the station went, the whole crew, big after party at a bowling alley, at a big club, everybody went. This year, we didn't have a Z one hundred New York after party. Well, we had an after party that you had a sponsorship for. Right, hold on that you want me to hit thee. I'll get to everything. I'm allowed to say it. You're not so bubble wrap this bubble wrap here, I can't Oh my god, I can't not pop it. OK. So I said, you know what, let's hang out with all the people. My kids didn't go to jingle Bowl this year. Let's hang out with the people. I'll go to the after party support that was, I'll support my Brooklyn boys brother and hopefully ten fifteen of the staff will go. And so there was like fifty people out of the hundred people that we're all in town from other cities that we knew. How one which vomited all over the floor. But we don't know who You can't of course part of it. You listen to the podcast since episode zero. You know how my stories go. I I get all the details, all right. So the after party was really a nice place downtown that turns out closing, so we can mention it clo right, that's it's gonna be called Sierra uh ci a as in it's closing in Spanish. I think that's right. Uh So it's closing. So place is packed. We get in right way to go through security. I had to check my coat to leven dirty in the clubs, jump and jumping by the way. You go in and you go in like right to left, but the coat check line is left to right, which throws everybody off. It's completely designed terribly due to the left to the left. All your stuff, by the way. In that song, Beyonce says I could care less what you think or whatever she says it couldn't care less beonce. Shame on you. You should have said couldn't care less the same amount of syllables as I couldn't. All right, anyway, So finally get in and it's like packed, like you and I like up against each other. It's wall to wall your girlfriends there. Everybody okay, because because we were all up in v I P. We turn turns out everybody was. Everybody. The entire place was roped off. Everyone was in v I and nobody was in the million section. There was a couple of people dancing, but everyone was in v I P two or v I P one. We started the v I P two it was two packed and you're like, no, let's go over the other v I P. They got an area for us. Okay, I'll by the elevated booth. I stand for in this case, the important, very impacted people, very important. Puke, stop jumping the head. It wasn't shipping it. Okay. So we're wall to wall and then all of a sudden, so Madison Beer shows up. Madison Beer was the guest. Right by the way, case you know who Madison Beer is exactly my point. By the way, you might not know. I'm glad you explained, because the audience, some of them didn't know, and I'm like, how do you not know? Madisone Beer is? She's she has twelve million followers on Instagram. He's an instant model. It's the famous. Very nice, she's from Long Island, very nice. Girl. She's great, he's great. She's like twenty, she's twenty. So she comes up to say hi to the crowd. You've got a mike, uh gandhi had a mike. Madison beer did not have a mic. So you got up there and you're like, hey, what's up every mad what's up? Crud? I went parties to party? What's up? Yeah? Exactly, what's up? Body? Party? And how's everybody? Do you do your thing right? And the people in the crowd are like, gosh, gir right, and there's like cameras and lights and everything, and I'm a little bit off to your right with that look like oh, here he goes. I was like, let him go. He's got a mic in his hands. At the club at that point, you had like three or four drinks, which I don't know how you did it because we weren't there that long, but you had. We had like our own sectional liquor and you were pouring your own your own drinks, all right. So then uh, Madison standing there, gorgeous girl, and you're like, Madison, what's upside of the crowd? And she's like hi, everybody. H He's very so spoken. You're like, yeah, it's Maddison Beery body bear, and she's like, what's up everybody? It wasn't the level of excitement that you had. I felt like I was up here and she was down there. Well I could tell you, uh to her. In her defense, she was going through a vocal thing that night. She had um what would she have? Um? Vocal vocal frying? No? No no, no, ungitis no no no, the worst one, acid reflux? No, the one that's contagious. Uh strap yes, okay, well, whatever it was, it was obvious something was wrong because she's like, what's happening talk and you're like, yeah, Mason, Hey, what's going on? Guys? So it wasn't quite the equal rights anyway. So we do that, paw. You did the whole thing you mentioned you sponsor boom cops right. Uh? Not mean I could I could say that they don't pay me. They showed it, but they didn't. All right, so us anyway, so we're we're like, you know, we can't dance, we can't do anything that we huh. Anyway, So a couple of people more people shove into this v I P area we're in and it's like yeah, and I get not getting like claustrophobic. It's hot and and and there's like woodwood walls and it's just uncomfortable. So I get out of the VIP area and you're like, oh yeah, let's go to other VIP area. So we we all go to the other VIP area. And now it's like sales guys, all the account executives and all the people that that sell commercials. All those guys, they were like v I P two people that made me my money, right right, all the people that sponsors scary. So then so then like a couple of guys like the drunk off their ass and like hugging us. Hey, what's going on? Like scary? And then I so you with Robin and your girlfriend, and I said, dude, I think somebody shop their pants and Dandie's like, what are you talking about? Like is a joke? Like no, no, I think someone who shoot their pants and smells. I think someone should dip pants. So now we're trying to figure out who shop deir pants. But like three guys just hugged us, so we don't know which one. And it's like this bo and his alcohol and and like all these guys like dancing like like club dancing in this v I P area, which is not a lot of room. I wanted so bad to go back to v I P one, right and then and then Dandie was like two right, so there Robin. Robin says, it's almost like sewage, like maybe like a pipe broke, like yeah, maybe not not not like crapping your pants. It's like it's like it's like sewage horrible. And then we're looking back at the sales guys and they're dancing and they're sliding, they're kind of slipping on the floor. And we look down and there's a guy with a mop. He's mopping up puke and then dancing, dancing in the puke. Dancing in the puke. Oh, that's my favorite, Lionel Richie d d d dancing in the pud. So we got out of v I P two, which was very very appropriately, very very uh incentsitive puke v I P. And then we leave that, we go back to v I P one. We have more drinks, and I'm like scary, I gotta go. I can't take it anymore. So I leave, and You're like, bro wait, wait, wait, wait, go we'll go together. We'll share in uber so because I said, okay, i'll tell you what uber back to my car. It's parked in the garage nearro office downtown. I said, I'll drive you home because you live outside the tunnel. And I get through tunnel anyway. You're like all right, yeah, yeah, all right. So I go outside. It's freezing. I wait, like, I don't know. Ten minutes, I start texting you where are you? Where are you? Where are you? Finally you come out. I was drunk. You were drunk. I have no excuses for what might happen next. So you get in the car with me. We're getting the uber and uh we're riding back and you're you're saying inappropriate stuff to the driver. Who were they saying? You were like, hey, look at that pizza place. All right, love that pizza place. And you're like, hey, driver, you like that piece of place. He's like, oh yeah, okay, yeah he didn't like he was what he said, Oh yeah, he didn't like wasn't He's trying to like drive, he wasn't paying attention. And then I called him. I go, dude, he tried to do like we take the wrong street, and I was like, dude, you gotta make it right here. He was trying charged right because he figured you were drunk, because you know, he was gonna take advantage of me and go the long way, right, because because you you were the uber guy, not me, and because I said I would drive you if you took paid for the Uber. And we get to my car. You get in my car and we're driving back. So for my other way, I barely remember the car ride from the garage to my house because so you didn't drink anything. I don't ever drink, you know me co noise. So we're driving back and we go through the tunnel from from the garage to Scary's house at two in the morning. It's really like a fifteen twenty minutes tops fifteen little traffic at the tunnel, and so I'm listening to music and the news or whatever we were listening to, and and Scary like, yeah, okay whatever. At some point we get out of the tunnel and now Scary lives like fifteen minutes outside the tunnel, not even minutes, yeah, like not that long, not that far. So I noticed your head is like you're looking out the window. I'm like, what are you looking at? You don't answer me. I go, scary, what are you looking at? You don't answer me, so I go, are you sleeping in my car? And you you your head pops off and you go, ah, it's no good. He's just a track act. Now I saw. I said, what, bro, he's a track act? What do you what do you mean what he's he's he's a track act? I said, are you drunk? I probably amn't drunk. Yeah, yeah, I was like literally ten seconds away from licking the glass, right, you know, your mouth was like open, Your nose was smashed up against my glass. In fact, I should have taken a picture of it, because you fogged up the window in like a silhouette of your smush nose. Really, yeah, I didn't take a picture because I want It was two o'clock and I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Track act is a performer that doesn't have a band. They sing to musical instrumental track. I don't know what I was dreaming of, And I don't know who was a track act, nobody, a jingle ball, no male sing It was just a was just a dream. But you were like arguing with me. I'm like, why you like he's a track ACTA used to read word magazine, something that was going on in your dream. You were saying it, Okay, it was section for whatever reason, and so okay, so where's the issue that you have with me? You were just a good friend driving a drunk from at home and that's pretty common. Yeah, oh no, I don't mind doing that. The issue is you fell asleep, and then what do you expect me to do? I'm drunk. I don't know. Why don't we just say the Google the Google Hub, the Google Home hub is for that. So we're in. Yeah, because you owe me. Okay, so let's say, le I'm gonna sidetrack for a second, because that's what I do. You fucked me on the radio today, how now before I say what you did? It doesn't matter if it's true exaggerated, don't tell me it's just for the radio. Okay, Elvis says, Oh, we'll have the one. Are you were gonna read the hard scopes today? Yeah? I read the hard scope? Yes. Elvis says, oh one of the Brooklyn boys is scary. You know, only Brooken boy in the room. Well today right now, so you said, uh, someone said, oh your Brody's running little late, and you so that you could have ended it right there, right there, could have ended it right there, Brod you run a little late. You had a throw in in the background. Oh, he's always the running little late. Well that's a radio ha ha. Really what if? What if the big wigs are listening and they go, really, hope he's always light. Huh? So you think that I threw you into the bus in front of corporate? I feel like that's not not something you needed to add. It's not cool. Yeah I don't. And it wasn't funny enough to throw me into the bus for like always always late. So if it was okay, So if it was funny, yeah, I'll do it for the joke. But it wasn't funny. I feel like you're like if you were like like, but if it's it's not true. It sounded like no you said it. But if it was it was real life, then you have a problem. I'm saying, if it's funny, I'm okay with it. See here's the thing. You said it in a funny way, like he's always run Like I didn't mean what you said, but you said it like he's always running late. You said it in that way like that when you get annoyed when you get it, when you get it, when you get annoyed when people take smoke breaks and you don't get a smoke break, it's almost like you're annoyed that I get that extra seven at the time. That's what I'm saying, you didn't cover from me. God, by the way, I got a bone to pick with LGPS A seat, I want to say, props and a bone to pick with him. Here we go, because he dissed on the Brooklyn Boys. L l g P dissed the Brooklyn Boys. I'll tell you why. So first of all, l g P cam in today and he gave everyone delivered LG Giant Bluetooth speakers available to piece of Richard Son not a sponsor of this podcast. It goes in the little hole Pete. Oh yeah, there he is. Okay, So, first of all, thank you. That was very nice. Beautiful speakers. I'm gonna use by my pool or outdoor portable speakers would handle lg what are they called the X boom go very nice. Well, we appreciate if you're getting divorced, it's perfect. It's xoom, not up. Different light on colors l E d yes have the l E ed lights that that light up. You take the party anywhere. Waterproof, right phenomenon. I could throw him in the pool and it'll like, okay, well they're probably water resistant, right resistance water resistant the water resist. No, that means that you can wash your hands with it, you know, to the and it's just still. I wouldn't try it anyway. So thank you the speakers, beautiful, Thank you very much. You're welcome. So I said to Pete yesterday, we were talking about the old lad TVs. Right, Elvis took us all shopping in PC Richard's son and we all we all got things we wanted. Ultimately, I would have liked an old lead TV, not because they're a sponsor. Well they have the black is black they do. Yeah, and we're talking about the color of the screen. Yeah. Now, when you when you go t TV shopping, this is not a commercial. Am I getting paid for this? I'm a TV expert on a TV file. I studied TVs since I'm a kid. That was the only thing that was important to my dad was TVs. When you go like, oh, it's a ten ADP or four K, they're all the same. No they're not. There's there's different ways that TVs are made, there's different resolution. I'll give you an easy one. Easy one, it's an easy one. Some TVs light up. They just put two lights on the side of them, in the inside, and the light shines on both sides and it it's like it's like two flashlights, right, and you hopedre's enough light in the middle when you watch it, if you watch it really carefully, during certain scenes, it's not lit up evenly. Right. But a better TV has a whole panel of lights, so there's lights in the whole thing. That's why some TVs are more money. And those are those just one thing. Those are the those are l G TV. Some TVs have more HTM my inputs. You can put more things. What DVD plays you are an audio file. I know that the video file video file, so okay. In fact, when we went to piec Richard's son, I was telling them all the products while we're on that you're a lot of file. But I'm not. I'm not. Now that's scary what you're talking about. But okay, anyway, so I didn't get one because I have to be honest. They're a little more expensive than the ones that we got, and there's a reason for it. Okay, So I said to Pete l g PT yesterday, just joking around, I said, you know, l g P just conversationally scary and I talk about the old lad TVs, the LG old led TVs on our podcast. Naturally in conversation they come up like I really want one or I'm scary bought one. They come up a conversation. Nobody's paying for that. We just talked about it because they're great TV's, I said, you know, joking, I said, you know, Pete, be nice. If lg sponsored our podcast, we would be happy to do commercials for them. We love the product and it would make sense because we're talking about stuff we love and we're always looking legitimately we love we love the view of the l G. It's ridiculous. We always look ridiculous. If you look at an LG ol TV next to any other TV, I'm telling you you don't have to be an expert. You will see a difference anyway. That's why Pete says to me, how many people listen to a podcasting? Right? You know he did. But you know in a way like lg is a big company and you know what they want to get them money's worth an advertising I get that completely. So I said, you know, the Brooklyn Boys podcast, we have a lot of very loyal followers if they really liked the products we talked about, because they know we only talked about parts we genuinely like, and they're very dedicated. And we have a lot of listeners. We're not getting up your into we're not getting into the numbers. I said, Pete, what would you consider a good podcast, like if you're gonna name like you're saying, we don't have a lot of listeners. So Pete throws out a number and I go, he threat a number that when we started the podcast, they said, Hey, someday you should hope to get to this number. Let's call that number X. If you get to X, you might get a sponsor. I said, oh, but we were already at that point X X where we're a triple X at this point and I so, I said, Pete, we're a triple X and and uh and You're like, oh really, I said yeah, I said, we get X on day one we launched a podcast. Our fall listeners get that in notification or they see our tweet, they go right to it. Boom. But then we usually get X on day one or two day one day, middle of the second day, and then people just every day they start listening. They people are still like episode fifty. They catch up. Eventually they get to like three X and that's where right now. Hoping to get to four X that'd be really nice, but three X right now. And so then Pete was like, oh, so with that said, Pete, listen, here comes the Jersey Kid. Great tad on the Jersey Kid. What's going on? Happy holidays? What's up a Crevison? You made a wrong turn at their podcast? Canal? What's going on? What are we talking about today? I'm sorry, fetch hamm is down the hall? Yeah, my hand? What's off? Sorry? What are we doing? Brodie? We were in the middle of the story, just talking the story. Now. If you could talk about j bro if you could l yeah, if you could take your thing off air, no pun intended, get out, they'd come on. Continue but continue you don't you think that they need me, Pete? They got Brooklyn Boys, and I proposed myself as the Jersey Kid. Right not people are screaming for Spruce. No, right now, I'm telling you they got this. You've been so great Tea has been pitching Brodie and I off off air. Well whatever, Brodie scary, scary? I could see it now. Yeah, you guys, you guys do a great podcast. I love the Brooklyn Boys, sure, but don't you think you should add some extra pozzas you'd call it the Brooklyn Boys and the Jersey Kids and the Jersey Kid. I could see it. Now, you'll take your podcast to New Heights, right. You know with Elvis Duran show would start out with four of us and then all of a sudden hold on when Elvis Durand started, it was four of them. You were not part of the full What do you mean you were not part of the four kid? You would not you you were six? Who was I? Who was six? What? Either way? It goes from four to five to six and now we got fixed on. Okay, you're absolutely right, which is why we added Nate the Eerie Kid. Oh come on, you what I'm saying something? We need some small you know what? You need one guy from Connecticut and you've got the whole northeast. Wait a minute, can we do the Greenwich guy? Fished my story? I have given you guys more entertainment right now than you guys have added in a month. You know what, I got a funny story for you. I know a guy a year and a half ago, when this part cast started, he said to Garrett on our show fun those two idiots, that podcast will go nowhere. That's right, I didn't and then went on his Fetch Hand podcast, held on Bill and then he went on his Fetch Hand podcast and said, all those guys do is yell at each other. Just listening. Who's listening to that crap right now? Yeah, I'm telling you Brooklyn Boys and the Jersey Kid you shot yourself in the foot a long time. This is how it's gonna be continually. Jersey Boy is kind of trying to wrangle his way back, and now that we're a triple act and something I have nothing going on, they don't want to get to gather Garrett and Danielle. It's like, oh my god, you guys do an episode every every year six months. It's great. The reason why we can't do it, I'd feel like banging my head through the wall. I have given up because I don't want the reputation of being the guy that's always like, oh, you have to do this, you have to do that. So I laid back and I gave it up to that and I said, listen, it's up to you. When you guys want to come around and do an episode, let me know and we'll know it. And you know what, neither one of them have decided to do an episode. So because they don't want to do an episode, I sit back and look what happens. You guys just always give me a better petatient by saying, well, great, Tea's always ordered people around. Look what happens when you don't order people around? All right? Nothing gets done. So you got each other and we just love doing the right me to. I want to do extra work. I'll tell you what. Here's what I'll tell you. Yeah, my promise, I'm ready Brooklyn boys, Yes and no, we will promote your podcast when you do one. It's never gonna happen. We listen. We mentioned fetch him seven times already to understand how far we can take this guy's We can take it to the mood. Why if I were you, yeah, I'd be very upset that my two close friends I don't want, I know, not back in me, you know me in and put me. I gotta be honest pe and starting to like my Samsung. Who gave you? Who gave you the name? Pettisana Pete and then l G Pete? I did I came up with that? I come up with the names in the middle of the story. Happy Holidays, Brooklyn boys and they kids. So so Pete said that we didn't have hold on, hold on, we gotta leave a spot for the edit. He's kidding for a sponsor over here. All right, So now that we've discussed numbers, Okay, now that we've discussed a little better, now, I'm gonna give you your next assignment. Yeah. LG is driven by tastemakers. Okay, So this is what I want to propose. I want to propose your followers, listeners get out and start tweeting to you guys if they are LG fans at l g U s a at l g U s l U s Here's the thing though, but we want product. We want to hook our as slices are loyal to us, and we want to hook them up with free because we have always free shipped for us, which we always played this jingle fresh it for us. But we want free ship for them. We want to we want to do contesting. We want stuff to get it, but understand, we don't want to give away electronics. Understand sound LG is far more than the great old lad TV. Oh absolutely have washed. I forget about electronics at home because everything you know, their new and issues also make android phones. Yeah, theretiative is the Meridian sound, which the boom speakers that you guys got today. Hold on, hold on, hold on, You're not paying for this commercial. So he's it up about you. I'm saying it's harder to give people TVs. Well, yeah, there are things you listen, you gave us those speakers today. That was a smaller version. Also that that had incredible sound. That's a more portable thing that we could ship exactly anyway. All right, So this opportunity, let's talk, always a pleasure having you here. I think there's some ways we can work together. Were already already have a sold have your listeners, your followers show that they are g supporter. I keep in mind people, mind, people may not hear this episode till a month after we recorded, so it may and what's yeah, okay and copy him at Pete arch On there too to r that's lots of people are member. Seriously, we gotta put a lock on that door. He's using our studio as the past. Elvis doesn't let him, doesn't let him do the security is horrible, horrible. Okay, well, thank you Lane, awesome. So um and what we have a date in Uh? It has to be twelve o'clock. I gotta go all right, all right, well all right, okay, what we're still rolling. We're still rolling. This is still part of the show. Okay, cool, yeah, alright, Baha, text me the address, text me the address you have you have to go record a song today. Oh my god, there's so much to do around here now. It would be it really would be nice to hook the slices up with it was okay, So I gotta be honest. We're doing two podcasts. I have enough rants this week. Let's give the first of all one. I got more My favorite text message coming into the show today. We were talking. Came in on yesterday. Elvis was on the air talking about the podcast awards. You and I are flying to l A. Now, with social media, then you have to do all the other aggravating bullshit. Just retweet us, right, you can retweet us, retweet us. We tweet constantly. Yeah, please do we need that? So we're going to the award show, right, yeah. So the awards are January eighteenth at Heart Radio Theater and so uh we we said on the air, we didn't know what to wear. What kind of what do you want? An award show? It's a podcast award show. We don't know what's televised. We don't even know what the deal is. It's definitely gonna it's gonna be streamed. We know that this is the first of its kind. Yeah, so somebody texted in and I apologized. I didn't look for your name. There was no name. He texted in, Hey, Brodie, you should wear Brooklyn Industrial. Now, if you remember that from about ten episodes ago, that's when Scary was telling me about some party we were going to, Oh you should dress Brooklyn industrially. That's not a thing, Brooklyn Industrial. All right, Well you wear that to the awards? Beat Nick poet. You want to address beating Nick poet? How about a struggling artist? How about genius bar? Casual? I got that's good? Or um uh, lumin ears trendy? Oh? Can I tell Can I tell you a story about the the genius bar. By the way, my my oldest daughter is actually a genius, brilliant girl, except when it comes to social activity in this particular sense. You know, I mean, I'm street, I'm shrewd when it comes to write screwd shrewd. Well, well, if you're shrewd and you're from the street, you're strewed. I'm strewed, right or I'm stewed all right. So we're at the Apple store. I'm strewd because it's Apple. Nice to connection. That was good. So we're at we're at the Apple bar. Now, my daughter got sand in the laptop. Okay, she was at because she was in Miami and she was on the beach laptop to the who brings laptop. I know, that's what I told her, But she's like, I had I was reading a book and then my reader with me and whatever. So she whatever doesn't matter. So a couple of the keys stopped working. Okay, So she says, well, I'm under warranty, so I vacuumed the keyboard to get all the sand warranty and does his parents know it? To do? His parents? No, think at the Grand police Jing. Already, I'm feeling we're gonna need it today, all right. So she'said, I vacuumed it out. I air blasted out the sands. You don't see any sand and there's no water in it. So I'm gonna take it under warranty, will go to the Genius Bar. To go to the Genius Bar, and the two of us go up to the counter, were waiting, and they finally have like a half hour even though we had a frigate appointment. Sorry. They finally take us at the Genius Bar. Very nice people at the at the at the Genius Bar, and the guy says to her, uh, tell me about what's not working. He sets it up and there's a guy to her left, a customer at the Genius Bar. I'll get to him in a minute. So we tell him, you know, they just stopped working. He's all right, yeah, this is all right. We're gonna take it apart. You gotta back everything up what I blah blah lot, the usual stuff. He says, you're covered unless there's moisture, if there's any liquid in here that damages the computer, you're not covered. She's like, oh, there's definitely no no, no water because she knows it might be sand inside. But that's not a problem. Okay, So we're all ready to go. He hooks it up to the cable and everything, and he's like, oh, you cover it. We gotta ship it out. It's gonna take five days that one gotta wait. No, no, no, no, no no. So then he says, all right, let's examine your computer. So you see you get it back in the same conduction hold on. So he goes, all right, there's some scratches here, and there's a little bit of a ding here and over here on the right hinge, it's bulb bulby. It's bulbous. It's like it's like it's it's bulbing out. It's it's it's a it's a rounded out like concave, convex, convex, right, so it's it's it's it's bulging right. So all she had to do is go okay, because he's just showing her. So if it comes back that way, we're good. So she says, oh, yeah, that's where I dropped it. And he says what and she says, oh, yeah, we were having a party in the room. We have like you know, twin beds in the room and and and then the computer. So yeah, so I go and she's like, what it's like, and so she goes, what I'm just telling them what happens to the computer goes flying off the bed and it lands between a bit of the lands in the corner on the corner and that's why it has a ding and it went it went boom, But it worked after that, not a problem. So the to the guys looking at her like she has three heads. The Apple guys like what do I do now? So I go, She's like, what, why can't you? I'm old enough, I can handle myself. Dad. I go, well, all right, the cats out of the bag. Here's what I'm trying to tell you. When the nice man from Apple is willing to take your computer and it's covered under warranty, what you don't do is say, oh, that's good. I dropped it off by bunk bed onto the floor and I went boom, because you're having a party. And the and the guy next her goes, you excuse me. I don't interrupt, but I'm a lawyer, and if I you'd advise your client not to talk anymore, you're screwing yourself. Plead the fifth and clam up kid. And so my daughter gives it as got a lot to learn. My daughter gives the David Brodie look of shut the funk up. I did teach her that, and so I was like, yeah, dude, sorry, I'm like just so the guy. I was like, dude, can you give me a break here? And he's like, yeah, no, problem isn't that. She was like what, I'm like, what did I raise? What kind of the shame, scary, the utter embarrassment? That really is? Okay? I'm all about being honest. I give things. You know, if I get overcharge, they give the money back. If I get under charged, right, I give the money whatever. I'm all about honesty. I don't buy bootleg DVDs, but sometimes don't volunteer advice. The guy didn't ask how you got the bump and the thing. He just said, just let you know what. It's a bump. Oh yeah, boom, sound effects. She's doing sound effects. Oh my god. I do have some unused jokes. Let's do something. I have one you want to do first? In the middle, Uh was sick. Something happened to lou Fritno. Lue Fertno, if you remember, was the incredible He was the original hawk on TV. Lou Fritno, who's in real life deaf? Yeah, And he said, so I'm not a listener of the podcast, I said. He was quoted with saying the other day, you won't like me when I'm sickly because his his catchphrase was you will like me when I'm angry. Always thought that that was crass. Okay, so I'll give you a point for clever. But David Banner a different act to understand that would say that long. But it's still and associated with the show, still still associated with the Incredible Hawk Show. Yeah all right, So here a couple of Some of them are jokes, some of them are just like musings. Jennifer Lopez was supposed to call the other day, and so when she called, I told Nate, who was answering the hot line, I go, you should answer the phone, j Lo. He did not want to do that. That's cute. So then he answered the phone and she can hear us, but he can't hear heart. So he's like not hearing anything. He's like, hello, Hello, I said. He shuts j Lo and not Jay and silent Bob didn't get that joke on the air. Uh. We did a new story this week that Apple is building a huge new headquarters and I said, that's great, it'll be obsolutely in two years after buy a new one. Hi. Uh. The girls all got new shoes thanks to Elvis. That was their big holiday uh, present and uh. They were like, you know, really expensive shoes. So I said, oh, where'd you go to buy those shoes? Pay more? I love it. We were talking about how you and I got to work in a bakery and and make cakes. We don't have to remind everybody where it was, but we were working in a factory and we were learning how to mold fondant to put on cakes, and you mold it with your bare hands and you squeeze it like clay and play dough and no gloves or whatever. You gotta feel the texture to fondent or as they say on some TV shows, fondante. And I said, it's when it comes to fondante. I don't didn't get to that. I think that's cute too. And then a guy named Cult called a guy Colt called up the show and he's like, yeah, I got that's my name, names Colt. And he happened to be from Texas, no kidding, and so I was like, oh, you're named after a gun. He's like, well, he's no. He said, oh your name helps your named after a horse. Brodie said that a tweet saying something like, I witnessed grace today. If something was constantly bad mouthing me, If someone was constantly bad mouthing me, I'd have a hard time sitting up sitting by them and shaking hands. Anyway, I posted a picture of Scary under that tweet as a joke, and Brodi didn't get it, so it fell flat. Please understand that I'm a big fan of The Big Show, the fifteen minute morning Show, and I'm a slice for life. Oh she's great. I just didn't get the joke. What was the joke? She said she thought she was being clever in Senua, that Scary is giving you a wrath of ship a lot of the time. Oh no, no it was she thought she was making No, it's okay. Yeah. I told her that she unrobably. I was so embarrassed. I had followed she unfollowed me, and thanks to the app by you is that lets me know who one followed me? I checked and I saw she unfollowed me. First of all, scary stop being a cheapass by Brodie the Steak Dinner. Thank you Brodie. Okay, I'll just say it right here. Ordered a game on Amazon my boyfriend for Christmas. Said it was gonna arrive in two days, which it did, but then when I opened it found out they sent me the wrong thing. They sent me a toy called yellies. It looked to be about five dollars. Isn't that what they call us yellies? Right? I was pissed, beyond pissed. Get this piece of ship. No, this is what I called up Amazon. I was so angry, demanded them. They give me my game and I got it the next day anyway. Granted the customer service lady couldn't speak very good English, but I panicked didn't get it. I didn't get so she got what she needed, but she didn't get any free dessert, and she settled for even. How should I have handled this better? This is driving me crazy. Well, you pay for something to arrive in two days. By the way, she's from in the middle of nowhere, Iowa. Um, so how does she get she she got even? She didn't get desserved. You didn't get free desserved. You paid for two day delivery. Right, You've got something else and by the time you got it was multiple days later. They should give you something back for that, ten dollars off your next purchase. Amazon Prime for a month for free if you don't already have it. I would call them and tell them you're very unhappy. Amazon is great about that. If you do that, simply that they'll actually hook it up. Amazon is great. And the thing about Amazon, if you if if you have to find it, that it's buried on their website their phone number. So once you find it number, yeah, so what you do is you call Amazon. This is great. I think I didn't talk about this before in this podcast. Amazon. If you find like contact us, contact us, contact us frequently ask questions that didn't help contact Once you get the number, though, you call it, you should give it out and it's and then and then immediately it says would you like us to call you back on this number immediately or in like ten minutes. They will call you right back. And they call back and they go dude rings immediately and goes hold and operator will pick up momentarily. Boop Amazon. Amazing, you've had someone answer the phone. Amazon. They don't, They don't answer the phone. They call machine calls you and says hold please no. But you actually get a human every time, every time. And when I tell you some of the I got some customer service stories, but this or next episode that will blow your mind. So Amazon, love you on the phone. I love Desiree daddiou spakes you think it's not desiree desire such as huge one or two, scary and Brody Hello. I'll see what I did there. I wanted to take a minute. I said your name rights anyway. I look forward to the podcast. Love the fact you guys talk about everyday relatable things. Also, Spruce is a great addition to the show. People want people want me to write a jingle form. I like Spruce. His laugh alone makes me laugh. I have been looking out for Brody items and Brooklyn boys. That's right. We gotta hey, how about some scary stuff. If you don't find anything with s k e er y, you have to buy a phone. Good. But yeah, keep does Brodie Steakhouse, Brody Sports Bar shirts coming anyway. Works in the court system in Connecticut, and there really is nothing surprising her at all anymore because she feels like she's seen and heard it all. Last week a guy guy told the judge to suck my big dick, and we all that, in addition to listening on Thursday was all I needed to chuckle all day. I don't even know Hio hung Hio. Uh No, that was from the Chinese takeout place hung Jury. Wow, I have never listened to a podcast before, I jingle, but I am glad this is the only one I listened to. So she's never even listened to podcast before. Bro Welcome to the world a podcast. I don't know if you know this. We're a Heart Award nominated podcast. For now, I just want to let you both know you're doing a great job. That can you kick ass every morning? Happy Hornka to Brody, don't play Red Dead as you will probably die and you both can keep getting free ship? Fuck it? Why not that? I don't know? Okay, all right, So I got a tweet here from Jewel She's Juice sky Um. Now she did something where she referenced something from Jewel is a diamond in the rough. She did something five weeks ago. She she referenced something from five weeks ago, which you know, do you know a rule? You gotta remind us what you're talking about. If you're behind, We're not. We've already moved on. I don't remember what I just said. So she sent me a picture or something, and it took me a minute to figure out what it was. So she wrote, just like what you were talking about on episode sixty. I think it was sixty, so she wasn't sure it was sixty, and she sent me a picture. So I'm like, okay, how to think? What was I talking about? So I'm gonna tell you what it was? And scary, I want you and everyone listening you figure out if you could figure out what it was in reference to what I was talking It's a jar of a dietary supplement that says proven to work, and it says now that it's cut off in the picture, but in the little circular says has no fact. Well, I'm sure there's something else there, like has no effect on your health. I gotta say, But it's Donovan's fish semen pills, which I have to imagine we talked about this hold on, I have to imagine it fish seamen taste a little fishy. I would salty if I had to guess, Well, like seen from what I understand, all right, So so she wrote, just like what you were talking about? Now I figured it out. What was I talking about? You? I don't know what you're talking about? It was? It was it was the episode that referenced that episode we were talking about that stuff that that you put on. It was that commercial had that stuff in it. You're like, what the funk even is this? Right? I forgot the name of it. It was Privilege and it has jellyfish fish made from ingredients found in jelly fish. So that was a reference to that. Yeah, so people are taking fish seamen pills. You gotta be some kind of horny or desperate or both. What the f are you doing buying fish seamen pills? All right? Now, hold on one more tweet. It's from Rudy Marino r F Marino three thirty at David Brody. Yeah, I'm caught up. I was checking all morning in my FedEx truck. Finally I said fuck it and started from zero. Brody, there is nothing on radio or podcast that compares to the two of you. The Brooklyn Boys are a great anyway. That where they called us the O and A of eight. By the way, uh it would you know as a rule tweet us both if you can. Oh? Yeah, sometimes Brooklyn Boys WTF right, which is fine. Scary sees that more than I do, and I I usually at Scary at David Brodie, at Scary Jones and at Broolyn Boys. WTF covered all come? Question ring the otherwise, I'm like lost lost anyway, but so uh we got grammar police correction from Muffin Muffin Tater twenty Wow. Uh, Brooklyn boys, this was by my home a couple of years ago in Aurora, Colorado. Uh just just started listening. By the way, had had a crappy delivering job. But I listened all day as long as and brightens up my day with your way to humor. Uh. And my ex boss is from France and he didn't get my humor. He doesn't get it and he doesn't like me. Well fuck him. He's been fired. Since that's Sabrina and the pictures she senses the grund police. It was a tire sale going on and it was tire sale now and they spelled sale s A. I l oh nice. Maybe it's for the boats could be hold on. Sorry and uh, Adolpha Chacon thank you for sending this article. Bro A, You're gonna get pissed. Uh. Adolpha Chacn said, look at this, you guys from the patch. We're gonna quote I read the patch ahead. Uh. Police called. Police are called after McDonald's customer refused to pull up, apparently, and Oak Creek, Wisconsin, and unruly McDonald's customer could be cited for trespassing in the future after police say she called disturbing yes that resulted in employees finger being cut during a con hold on they respond to. Police responded to this nine be a slice, don't slice the finger. Apparently, reports towards that the woman went to the drive through and was given the wrong order. The woman told police she went back through the drive through and requested a new cheeseburger, but was told by employees to pull forward and go park over there. All right, that's not the same thing though, that's because they had to redo. She should get that for free, though the woman was shouting at the employees. Oh she pulled out a knife. No. Not. One of the woman's fingernaires scratched the employee, causing an I don't do that. She couldn't. But don't pull up? To pull up, to pull up, pull out? Say no to pull out? No, say yes to pull out. Please don't get me in trouble. You get yourself in trump No, I wouldn't want every want any that. So anyway, what else has happened? Um? Like, oh, I gotta I got a bone to pick? With Michael Rappaport. You really I love Michael Rappaport, but let me tell the something. But something happened to him the other day. Yeah. No, he Instagram pulled down the famous cat video that he had, and he was upset about it, and rightfully so. Do you know the cat video where he says that the cat looks like his grandmother is a cat staring him. It's a white cat and it's like all kind of like, it's a famous cat. It's called Wizard Warrior cat. Anyway, it's a famous cat. It's got like what anyway, So he took the video of the cat and dubbed over it, dubbed over the sixty second video that the original I got it. So he's like screaming. He goes, ma, Ma, this fucking cat won't stop staring at me. Look at it. And the cat has like a really weird face. It looks like it's got one eye going and it's hilarious. This cat looks like my fucking grandma. Get the funk out of here, you cat. So this video from Rappaport had all these like all these likes and everything. Instagram pulled it down, even the original account from England the Wizard cat like. They even loved Rappaport's parody of their video. So he goes into his you know, he goes on Instagram the other day and granted, I missed, granted, and he's just piste off and I agree with him. He goes, they said that it violated their codes or it was bullying or something bullying, and he goes, they said it was insensitive. And so apparently the cat Instagram is snow flaking out here. Man, the pulling people's video is the cat watching the video. By the way, you gotta see this cat. It's hysterical, hysterical. I'll give you the address. But anyway, all right, yea, all right, so let me tell you what a tiny bit upset port who I love? You know the app cameo? Of course, all right, you're gonna have to help me with a cameo today. By the way, I have a cameo request. They want me in the Brooklyn Boys, but they want me but I need you in the background just to help me get through it. What do you mean, Because you're here, we'll do it together. Okay, but I can't do it right now. I gotta go to lunch. Don't you always have a client? Uh, don't you dare. I'm not gonna say who it is, all right, okay, so, uh, cameo is what you you. You go on cameo dot com with a cameo app, not a sponsor, and you can see celebrities who have send my famous people and you can find one you like. Usually it's an athlete or someone who used to be famous, or some famous people but not like uber famous but medium famous. And then like you know, people in radio. So you can go and you can say, oh, for for whatever. They set their price at nine dollars, ten dollars, fifteen dollars, a hundred dollars. You know, it depends on who it is. They'll record a greeting for you. You send them a script and they'll say like, oh, hey, Mike, happy birthday from Frank Travolta. Uh, your boyfriend Steve wanted to wish you whatever, blah blah blah, and you get a video and it's a really cute idea. But I've done them before, you've done them, I've done them, We've all done them. The people at cameo are very nice to us. They saw that we were using their app. They emailed us they love our show. Well, they have a thing that anyone can do. If you refer someone and they use your ink every video they post, you get like five percent of their videos up to like a year or something like that. So after Michael Rappaport came on our show, I told him about cameo. So he goes, oh, send me the link. So on Instagram, I sent him the link. I told him about what cameo was. I explained it. He goes, oh that sounds great. I go, yeah, here's the cameo dot com. He the app whatever, and here's my link. Sign up right, Look, week or two go by, he doesn't sign up. By go it's weird. Whatever, Okay, we'll get to it. So about a month goes by and I see he's doing cameo videos and he's charging a lot more n I have how much. I think he was getting fifty bucks maybe something like that. He said, listen my right. So I'm figuring. I'm figuring. Oh, where's my right? So I'm I So I email the people a cameo want to go, Hey, cameo guys, Michael, No, you do not. Michael Rappaport signed up I told him about Cameo I sent him to and I haven't gotten any money. How does that work. Let's check that out. So I said, uh, we don't have a record of it. So I wait a minute. He has all the screenshots, he has the conversation. I have my report where he wrote back, Oh great, I'll check it out. Right, Clearly he has proof I told about it, So do me a favor, just retroactive it and hooked me up. Well, obviously he didn't. So so what he he didn't do is he didn't put the code in your code, so you didn't get credit. Because because if he would have put Brodie's code right, he would have gotten Brodie would have gotten the money would matter. But at this point, hundreds of dollars didn't do that. So they say, all, you know what, I proved it. I proved it. So that so the people of Cameos Steve on the phone to the people that give. So the people of Cameo, the boss, the people of Cameo get back to me like very quickly, like within an hour, and they go, you know what, had he not signed up with anybody's code, we could have signed your code. No problem. We understand right, So he says, according to our records, he used Bethany Frankel's code. Who's that Bethany Frankle from the from the Real House Guys of New York beth Today, Franko doesn't need the money? What the fuck? She probably had a conversation with him too, and to use my code. Frankly, you're a billionaire, you don't need the money. That was cold. So Michael Rappaport, where is the love for a brother from another mother? Oh my god, I sent you to code? Did you forget? That's terrible? And all of a sudden, Bethany Frankl was like, oh, Camio'll use my call. He's like, sure, Bethday Frankl, no problem. And you got fucked. So I'm not ned at Michael Rappaport. But I got a bone to pick on my grab Mike, come on, that's not my rant. I'm just saying, help brother out, dude, Brooklyn, you getting colde on Scarfe. I know, I gotta go somewhere. You know, I told you we have a cut off. But I got stuff to do. Rant, I got I got, I got a bunch of stuff here. I'm just getting ready. You going short rant, Yeah, what do you got for me? More? Fifteen minutes late? You want me to hear about you want? You want me to tell you about the dummy a sales girl at Macy's or the idiot at the pizza place. I have two pizza place stories. I can combo them. Which with pizza places? I give you two pizza place story number one for anybody who's likes Italian food. I caught my my place, my place where I order from all the time, and I say, yeah, they go, what do you want? I go, uh, give me give me a give a chicken palm hero And she says, what would you like on that? What would I like on that? Chicken? Awesome? Lest I checked. Chicken palm is a thing and it's specifically Yeah, it's chicken pum hold on cheese, meat, chicken breast, spreaded cheese, and sauce. Right, So I say, what do you mean? What kind of things can I have on it? Maybe like, oh, we'll put like a red pepper on there, or something like sausage. I don't know what them is not chicken parm right, So I don't understand, but I wanted I want a chicken palm. I'm angry don shoe has got me up in a So she says, you know, like anything. I go, I know, but I know what it's supposed to come with. What sort of thing of people putting on it? What are you put on it? What are people putting on chicken palm Heroes? So I said, what are my options? So she goes, she goes, well, yeah, you know. No she well, you know, and that's silent, right, like I think she's regretting asking me. She was, well, you know, um, some people like putting a grilled chicken breast on this sandwich. Okay, honey, no hold my diet coke come out. Wait a minute. I ordered a chicken palm hero It's got a bread and chicken breast, cheese and bread. Do you think I'm looking to be health conscious? Health conscious? What I'm onorting your chicken palm hero which, by the way, I just ordered a sign here before that, so don't tell me. By the way, by the way, her name was Maria, because I said, what is your name? Just Maria? I go, your name is Maria and you're asking me what I wanted my chicken palm here? Not in the Italian kid? What are the kind of Marie is there, I go in my neighborhood and take a bath to your head, for that is not what figue out. Never mind, you didn't get the chicken palm? Is chicken palm? I breaded chicken cumming? Is is chicken with cheese? Gets a chicken preasts with cheese? Or maybe you want some oil and vinegar and lettuce and tomato and nail on that right, I'm gonna stirch some nail. Why do I put some turkey and roasted like making a clup sandwich with a little frilly toothpick in it with a pickle on the side. Don't you put a pickclum the side of my sandwich? What do I want my chicken palm? What kind of question is that? You should be out of business? You should not have an Italian restaurant? Now? Should you should fire people like that? What do you want on your chicken palm? It's like white milk. If I just say milk, it's milk. And I wouldn't drink milk with my chicken parm either. If I say chicken palm with no modified chicken parm means just that done. If I yeah, you don't ask me if I want to modify it in some way. Now, if you now, if you ordered a sand a sandwich like a grilled chicken sandwich, damn. Maybe he's like, oh, I'll take some onions, because a grilled chicken sandwich isn't a thing. It's a starter of it's a build your fun. It's like, what do you want on that? What do you want on it's a chicken palm? What the pizza things? Okay? So I go with my buddy Jeff. We go to pole hanging up TVs in my house that I got a piec Richard, not a sponsor I bought. I bought a bunch of TVs for the kid's rooms. I think I talked about this on Black Friday. So we took a break. Well, like, let's go to the pizza place near your house. I'm like, you know what, the pizza is not great. Gotta be honest with you. It's not where I want to go. The good pizza place wants to know what I want on my chicken palm? What kind of question is that? I kind of chick chicken palm? Chicken palm? All right? So I take him to the place and it's one of these places where the pizza sits out all day in the case. So there's like two slices. Let that look decent, fresh woods at slices. I'm like, listen, I tell Jeff Ago, this isn't the best place for pizza, but let's go there. So we ordered the pizza and take h whatever. By the way, he gave me chicks. I brought in my diet Pepsi bottle from the car. It's a pizza place with a counter and some tables. I can bring my own soul can bring it could be up. If they had grape soda, by the way, I probably would take it all right. Anyway, So the girl says to me, we'll go find the table and I'll bring you the pizza. Oh that's nice. The counter girl is gonna come out behind the counter and bring me the pizza. Okay. So we go and find a table. Now, the tables have a like a wall that divides the tables from the pizza counter area. Okay, so you can't see the pizza people when you sit down at the table behind the wall. So we're sitting there, was sitting there, was sitting there. I got my my red pepper and grated cheese, a regular little dish, little spindle. I bring the spindle. Ova was sitting there. There's no napkins, right, so I'm sitting I'm going you know, there's no napkins. What hell's our pizza? He said, well, you know what, go up and get napkins and ask him what a pizzas? Because we want to get back to what we're doing. It's been like eighteen minutes, like it's like it's like going to Scholas. So I get up, you go getting. I go up to get napkins because there's no napkin dispenses on the table. I gotta walk up to the counter with a cashier. Is a napkin? Right? Hold her? So I go up and guess what's sitting on the counter. The two slices of pizza. Oh ship that she was gonna bring to me, but she shot there. So she's over by the other end of the counter, just like leaning with her hand on her hip like she's a fucking teapot. I'm like to pull me over and tip me over, getting cold pieces getting cold? So go are these my slices? Oh? Yeah, I got and take them? Take them? Really permission? You told me you're bringing up to the table. Oh, don't worry, I'll bring him to the table getting tip, get a tip, I'll bring him to the table. Let her oh old old teapot, teepot, Sally. She's sitting there with her hand on her hip and she's not bringing me ship. And I see the pizza cheese is like quigulate. It's getting hard again. I'm like, so, I'm like, you know, what, can you reheat these? Oh? No, they won't even there a couple of minutes. So you know they've been here a couple of minutes. Sheause, I didn't see you. I would have called you. So I didn't you say you're gonna bring him us? All right? Right, that's your old right, all right? All right? Her job so so so Jeff is just like me. So I hear him, go don't do it? I go, I go watch. We don't have time for free desert to take the pizza, getting that pizza for free. So we don't have time for free to start. You're getting that pizza. So I doubt when a fellow fetcher like me says we don't have time for free desert, what am I gonna do? All right? So I just took the pizza. My point is, don't say to me, I'll bring it to you. I got it. I got this. Yeah, but what she didn't say was you didn't understand. She said she'd bring it to you on her time. So I didn't get right her own will. So I didn't get the free deserve. But what I did get was I got the So I said, I'll take that as an apology. That's what I did, So I slipped that in. So people don't offer to bring pizza, you're not gonna bring pizza, and don't ask people what they want on their chicken parm Have I got shipped? Ready for next episode? Another episode in a couple of games. We don't suck you over because we're from Brooklyn, Brock, Brooklyn, Brookline bro Boys, Brock, Brooklyn,
