Speaker 1: All right, all right, Scary Brodie, m I said, scary b What are you doing to me? What's that? What's that? Nothing? Say it again? I said it again. It's scary Brodies. That's great. In post I just reversed you. It's Scary and Brodie. Start up, start up, Brooklyn Boy, start up, Brooklyn, buy up, stay making noise? Not up? Yeah, that up. Don't don't forget that. I did the post production, so I just reversed your voice. I hate you. I know that you're gonna do that too, exactly alright. Episode two. I'm David Brodie, I'm Scary Jones. There you go. This is free discern Well, it's not really free dessert. It's free dessert in the sense that we're taping it the same week. So we did episode twenty one yesterday, so this is actually left over. This is two. We're recording this on Thursday or last day before vacation, right, but we're on bar going it until right. You're gonna hear it next week, which you're hearing it this week, hearing it right now, hearing it right now, right, but I think about it. You're hearing it right. It should be live the week of U well, yeah, Christmas, Christmas, Merry Christmas everyone, Happy New Year on the way. Hope you had if we're gonna be talking about it, I hope you had a good Christmas. We had a great Christmas. I hope you're having a good New Year if you haven't had it already. Yeah, well yeah, some people aren't gonna hear this until after the New Year, right, Bethany is not here, so we're not here, Bethany curse this week. You know what, some people might be hearing this after Valentine's Day, so I can't. I can't. Okay, you know what, happy happy, uh summer vacation. Listen exactly, don't binge it six months later? What people new people find us every day I've been. I've been absolutely I'm kind of fascinated by it. And I don't I don't know how they do it. I don't know. You always get emailed from people referencing something we talked about, and I'm like, wait a second, that was like eleven weeks ago. Yeah, they're obviously not to the episode where we said you can't do that, because you're like, oh, I love that bit you did, Like we don't. I was like two months ago. Remember I'm chugging this. What is it? It's a fit progro Fit prog hit the jingle I just got started. Time. You could have just you know what, you did the same thing on the show this what are you talking about? On the Big Show? You have a strand morning show. You were talking about playing beer pong, and you could have just said, oh, Greg T and I played beer pong this weekend. But that's not what you did. You said, oh, Greg T and I played beer pong at our appearance at Big Shots. Ye go to promote the club. But because you can't tell a story without plugging something. Okay, When I was taught to do radio by the client paying you know when I was taught, is it do radio? I was taught people can't see you, people can only hear you, so you must be descriptive. You must paint the picture for their ear. But that's not the same thing. Painting the picture means. If you're let's say you're wearing a red shirt and it's got a parrot and and volcanoes on it. Someone says, oh you it's a cool shirt. Said, yeah, it's a red shirt. You paint the picture of the shirt. What if you're telling a story about playing beer pong, it's an unnecessary fact to say you were big shots. It's called because you know that there are some people that are listening that might know what that is. Okay, and like, oh my god, I go to that place too. It's a way of connecting with the listener. Okay, what is what kind of drink? Is that? What kind? Not the brand name? It's a I guess technically a protein shape, right, all you have to say was a protein shape. Yeah, but I can relate to that, right, But if somebody actually shops and uses this brand, or the president of the company is listening, or whoever, if somebody's actually listening that actually drinks this specific brand, like oh my god, Scary likes the same brand that I do. I mean, there's nothing wrong with it. It's it's actually it's natural, it's human. You know. Yeah, you don't see any I just think I just think it's, uh, it's you're throwing a little love, That's what That's what I think. I mean, I think you throw a little love to the clients. Everyone like, well, you don't have to, as the jingle says, but they're not a client. They don't pay me, all right, I don't get paid for this. We got a lot to talk about, so we did so. So Yesterday's slash last week episode twenty one, we did ninety three minutes. That's a lot. Now. We took a week off because I was sick and you had an appearance at Roy Rogers, which you slipped in conveniently. Did you do that? No, No, it's not my client. Okay, I'm allowed to say I love Roy Rogers. They don't pay me. They should, but they don't. But if I say you have to play the jingle, yes, because you're because you're you're on the payroll. You're on the arm for them, You're on the til, you're on the on the take, you're on the take. By the way, I am going to get a sponsor for us. You may notice that in our logo, the Brooklyn Boys logo which has the Brooklyn Bridge in it, also with the Oh and Boys. My idea is a pizza yeah, and uh so I reached out to uh our Well, I'm not gonna say our favorite, because if they don't sponsor us, then someone else could be your favorite. No, one of our favorite pizza places. We've talked about it many times on the Big Show. I reached out to the owners and I said, listen, I love you guys. You know a big fans, a lot of love. I know one of them, Yeah, I know fran Al. Yeah. I said, uh, you know, we love us. I said, initially lay the groundwork. You can be just our official pizza, and then uh send the pizza. I'll tell you what I found out. So you know, um, Anthony Philippelo who fills in our show. He he runs the show while we're gone. He pushes all the buttons he has. He has right. He's a podcast called Beats and Boots Boots not sponsored by Beats the headphones, but it's a it's like a dance show and and alcoholic culture and whatnot. And so they talk about liquor and they you know, they talk about dance music or whatever. They have an official booze sponsor whose sole responsibility is to provide booze so they can drink during their podcast. And they talk about their sponsor who provides booze for their podcast. So I hit brilliant. So I hit this pizza company up and I said, look, we can talk money at a later date. We just want you to send up pizza. You can be our pizza sponsor. Initially well because then because listen, it puts us in the mindset of the average common to comment. As you said, the listener going oh I love pizza right now. Yeah, but then we make him salivy. Okay, but I don't drink I eat pizza. So but if we sat here eating pizzas, we'd be a couple of fat fox Yeah. But then after a while people ask, By the way, that sounded bad. That's how we talk in Brooklyn, right, I was sitting here a bunch of chewing into the microphone. Well, I can eat pizza without going blo, mom, we listen, we can eat before the podcast starts and just go. We just had fantastic pizza. I'm just saying there's an opportunity for a great pizza company to provide pizza for us. Now, if that works out, that's good. I think it's awful. Now if people here are eating the pizza and and and listen, you and I have, I think we've built up enough with our audience that knows we're not gonna bullshit. I'm not gonna say that it's good pizza. It's terrible pizza. We're not Brooklyn boys. Then if we had pizza here we say it's fantastic pizza. I'm legitimate. I wouldn't have a sponsor that wasn't a good pizza place. So if they then hear us talking about let's say Mike's Pizza making up a name, I'm sure there isn't Mike's Pizza. That's not how I'm talking about. If I say that Mike's Pizza is amazing pizza, they might be apt to go to Mike's Pizza next time they're in the New York, New Jersey area. Or let's say a pizza company like Geo Dana's Pizza in Chicago, who I love Deep Dish Pizza, although not New York pizza. It's fantastic. They ship all around the country. We talked about them, were talking about great they are. People might go, you know, I'm shipp at Geodana's Pizza to my house, or you know loui amonnt Luma was also great, great pizza. They ship it around. So I'm just saying there's a couple of pizza places we are associated with that'd be great, a great natural fit sponsorship for UP. I like that but I want the audience to get something out of it too. By the way, I'm still it's not sitting well with me. Well about from the other day. You know what you do our friends at the Acquired Taste podcast. You know they did something really nice for their listeners. Yeah, but listen, by the time, by the time I hear this, we can tell what is Yeah, they sent them. They sent greating cards. They posed for pictures and smoking hot Christmas dresses, like they dressed up like they were going to like a Christmas party. And then they got these cards printed. They went to a printing press and they cut the car I think they went to a website. Don't they go into a printing press. Whatever they did, they had seven fifty these things that they that they literally sat there with their with their hands and cut them, cut them with their with those little slicer machines, and then they stuffed the envelopes, they put the addressed labels on, and they paid for that out of their own pocket. Yeah, I mean, what the hell Now I feel I feel like I owe everyone to slice the peak hends listening to our podcast. Well, we did. We did joke about that. We sent pizza. Well, I was half joking. I actually was kind of meant it. I would love I would love nothing more than to hook our listeners up with something I've been in my previous podcast. I tried, we tried forever to try and give something back to the listeners. And we did a Super Bowl thing last time, I will say this, and we had a we had cash, prizes and gift cards, and we actually gave out those gift cards. I would like to do something similar where we were in a contest. Well, that's why we need a sponsor. We can't afford the thing. You have to listen sending out Christmas cards, cards, cards. Sending out holiday cards was a nice thing, but three of them chipped in and it probably cost them in a hundred bucks each. Whatever, it's great. If I could send every want a bottle of wine right now, I would. One of my rants today is going to talk about why I don't have money to do that, because my wife is throwing money around like it's uh free, like it's what like it's confetti, calling it around like he's own it around like like like my kids are on the socks are on the house. My mother's texting me again, we should get your mother on the phone. I'm still a little irked. So even though you're gonna hear this after Christmas, before Christmas, good here, you're hearing it. You're hearing it right Christmas Eve, we're having sushi because yeah, we're it's December twenty one. Matter as we record this, you have not had your Christmas dinner yet. Now, as as traditional Italian American custom, especially in the area we're from in Brooklyn, the night before Christmas, you cook like a ten course meal. It's yes, it's called the Feast of the Seven Fishes, and you have seven fishes, and we understand that plural of fishes fish. So we've changed it to sushi. In my head, I don't think that's legitimate. Right, that's the that's the set up here. And now I'm calling my mom because she's like, what's your order? She's texting me group text with my sister and my brother. My brother who's not even coming. Yeah, he gets to place at I'll place in order. I don't even eat you got of mine? My god is not you know what. She's out buying sushi. You know, she's rolling the seaweed, she's shopping. She's doing so I'm gonna call her on a cell Just didn't call her on a celf, Nope, that was a homeline. Call her on her self through the board. Yeah, I'm gonna call it through. Yeah, exactly. Oh, you don't know the number. You don't know your mother's cell phone number. Don't know any number? Oh my god? What are you talking about? Your own mother's cell phone number. I have to look at my phone. What kind of son are you? You can't remember one phone number. That's my home number. I have my home number. I know my home number my heart. I know I know my girlfriend's number by heart. I know about five numbers by heart and by the way I heard after that, I know no no number. I heard somebody say this week they know something by hard heart. I know it's by heart. It's not I know it by hard Oh my god, you're an adult. It's by heart. Listen. It should be my brain. But I don't know why it's by heart. Trying to say, is you should know your mother's cell phone number. No, it's fairly new in the family, Okay, more than a year. Yeah, yeah, it's your mother's cell phone number. Mother. Do you have how many cell phone numbers? Does she have one, I know, but she has a word embarrassing. It's not embarrassing. Embarrassing is first of all, she's not even a press of course, are what numbers your mother under her name are? No? No, you don't have like speed doll one through ten. What are you talking about? It is a cell phone. I have speed dollar my Android. I don't have that in the iPhone. You just literally have to look her up. Or no, I just hold the three down and it calls my mother boom? Does that? Is that even a feature in the iPhone? I don't think you could. They don't have programmable buttons like that. You can do one or two things on an Android. You can either hit the number and then enter like call, or you can sell set it up to long press and it calls. That's not a thing, if it is, I that's one of those download on Android, you download the old School app. It's actually called old School Old School, UM preset old School. Yeah, it's called old School. Yeah, we don't have that. I'll tell you what. It's kind of want to be wrong because the people it's called it's the old School. Anyway, it's called um speed dial Old School And you tell it what numbers like an old phone, like an old flip phone, and I just long press any number and its automatically dials. I'm gonna look up my mother and I still know her cell phone number. Again, I'm gonna ask people, tweet us and let us know your thoughts. Do you know your your significant other or your parents or your kids. You should know your parents. People don't have half a brain anymore. They're like me. They're like they've relied on technology for way too long. Yeah. Maybe yes, maybe your childhood, old school home land line, you know that. But my mother had a cell phone. I remember my father's beeper back in the day. Like that's your parents. You don't, Yeah, but you don't memorize it. You just press up, you press a button. It goes no. Because sometimes I call my mother from the home phone from the land line we have from the land line, yeah, and I look it up at my cell phone. Yeah, okay, right now. So we had a blackout two winters ago. We had no power for like three days. I couldn't charge my phone and said, I go in the car and charge it. Yeah. So I had a call from the house phone, which had a little power left in it. On the phone line. Okay, but you couldn't look at the caller ideas no power, Nope, I had to know the number. Okay, Well then then I would be screwed. So let me let me call her. I'm gonna tell you. You don't know a number. Used to call her on her cell phone. I used to call her on I You don't have the number? You know the area code? All right? Yes, come down you right now? Seven seven, have to place my order? Have seven or three? Four? Seven? No? Nine one right now? My mom's got a seven one eight first two? Yeah. And the second part of this is, MA, what are you doing around to go to the doctor? What's going on? Very nice? You're you have me on a spe your phone or something. I'm from my um from the iPad? Yeah, the hell? What do you mean? How am I'm on speaker phone on the iPad? Yes, you got that right? Nice? My mom is scary. It's David Brody. Are you I'm doing really well? By the way, is everything okay that you're going to the doctor? Because your son didn't ask if you're okay? Okay? I thought it was. I'm assuming he was a routine checkup. Hey, so you're on the Brooklyn Boys podcast. Right now, welcome back. Oh all right, so we have a I have a bone to pick with your son that I want to see how you feel about it. And then I start have a bone to pick with you. I want to say how you feel about it, because Brody only does his pick fights all day, not picking fights number one to debate everybody everything. Do you think your son Anthony, your favorite, your oldest, your firstborn? Do you think he knows your phone number, your cell phone number, like memorize that he could just call it? No, because she's always on his phone and all he has to do is put my name in the button. And yeah. But I tried to explain to him if he ever loses his phone, he can't call you. That's right, that's right. I think it's I think it's shameful. I know my mother's cell phone number. I love I love my mother first of all. But that's not why we're calling. No, it's not why we're calling. I was under the impression that in Bensonhurst Christmas Eve Italian family tradition that you and whoever else will be helping you in the kitchen would be making the big feast of the seven fishes and crazy me lasagnas, all kinds of crazy foods Italian. I'm being told that you're ordering in sushi on a on a on a major Italian food holiday. Yep, right say, And it's a great tradition. Tell him about it. Tell us here you're doing the face of the seven sushi fishes. Tell him how great it is to have seven different kinds of sushi. We sometimes have more than seven when everybody's picking their own sushi plays right, But honestly, uh, those days with the lasagna, those days it's gone. That was in my arrow and my grandmother and my aunts and wheel you know, helped out and cooked. Nowadays it's a little bit different. They just want to eat um, open up the gifts and you know, just kind of like be done with it. Yeah, talim talent. We eat on paper plates. I just feel like there's something, No, not really paper plates, you know, the plastic ones from much the China. I just feel like there's gotta be something for tradition. There's gotta be Like I told Brody that the next day, on Christmas Day, that's when we pull out the traditions. That he's right, that he's right. You don't. We don't need two days in a night followed by an afternoon. Okay, it's a it's a lot to Mama scary, honestly, how many years before you guys are ordering in a pizza from Dominoes on Christmas Day that you're on your way. It'll never come to that. That that we never do because we don't need pizza here, we don't really care for it. But we will have the usual matrooni. I will make money, okay, and we do have you know, all meat gravy, and then we'll probably have some sort of another meat, maybe a roast beef for chicken. Yeah, she calls it meat gravy, the proper gravy. It's gravy sauce. First, we're doing stuff shells this year, right, Nobody changed it to big another one, another tradition out the window. No, no, no, no, you promised me stuff shells. I'm sorry you said it. You texted me stuffed shells. Now, you can't take that away from your brother and sister want big zdu hate zd Hey, watch your mouth on the phone. Your mother, don't say zdi sorry my hate zdi. Ma, No really though I hate it. Wo first, world Italian problems. No, because big ZD is no no, no, no, no no no, it's a different kind of sauce and it's just ZD and it's you don't like z and no. I want I want the shells with with with to put the regard in it, with the sauce covered in red sauce or man. I have an idea, Mama, Scary, I have an idea. Scary can either make it himself or go to like William Snoman get pre Brian stuff shells very good? Yeah, well maybe another woman in his life could make them and then and then bring a great cook. Yeah, have Robin make stuff shells and you can bring them to dinner. Yeah. I'm so upset right now. Oh, his childhood dreams crushed. Don't be upset, it will still be good. No, I want to know how. I want shows. We've really, we've really, we've really uncovered something. This is a deep wound. I'm gonna talk to you later. It's already been done. This is like on this is like on a Jewish holiday. If my mother said, you know what, we're not making mats of balls this year, We're gonna have blintzes, I would break my heart. You gotta have mats of balls. Sometimes you have to change it up a little bit. So you know, I'm so mom scary. I don't all right, you are just first you crushed my dreams and hopes. But now you took stuff shells away from now, be honest, be honest. Now who requested the big z D step? Was it Stephen? No? Honestly, honestly, we we just changed it up because we had stuff shields I think two years in a row. So I just wanted to Okay, all right, well I'll survive. Alright. What are you gonna take away the meat balls next? All right, all right, I gotta give you my order I want for Christmas, Eve, I want this spicy Connie roll. I want a spicy You can do this in a later day text top back on the group text. Yeah, and by the way, why you blowing up my phone on a group text? Can you just email me? Anthony? Did you tell him about the pig knuckle and the skin that I put in the sauce. Oh, that's a whole other thing. That's a that's another that's that's old school Benson Harst. What that is? Yeah? Thank you? All right, I'll catch up with you later please dom Wow man, wow, that's that's Remember the episode of the fifty Minute Morning Show where I found out my friends divorced for two years and I didn't know. You just got hammered the same way right here on this podcast. You can't go switch it from It looked like somebody punched you in the gun. The man I have to explain to say something, by the way, manigat is the Brooklyn way of saying. Manicott, I'm I'm actually beside myself. You look devastated, because are you gonna be okay to finish this podcast? I know a lot of people are thinking, well, what's the difference. It's still pasta and sauce and cheese. It's really not. Big ZD is baked in an oven and has it's it's it's it's big ZD is baked in an oven. Really know, but it's but it's also it has that layering of crust. It's got. It's got also that love it it's tangled and stuff. I'm a fan. No no, no, no, I'm not. I'm not. You want the big old stuff shell Why it's too much surface area. It's the ratio of pasta to cheese is far greater in A In a z D, it's more dense, love it, you get filled up on it quicker, and the sauce covers all the pasta. With a stuff shell, it's just it's just a little ribbon of it's a little curl of pasta can and it's it's like stuffed with God, yeah, ricotta cheese if you're not coming. Yeah. The problem with it is the because it's like a cur like a band shehell, you see a concert. Yeah, the sauce, the sauce rolls off the back of it and you can't keep the sauce on it, so you gotta put the sauce in it and mix it with the cheese, make a pink sauce. Yeah. But it's also it's also there's it's a different kind of sauce. It's a red sauce, whereas with ZD it's like weird, it's not it's not saucy. ZD is not a saucy dish, whereas you could just continue to drown your stuff shell and dip it in sauce. It's so different. I'm with Mama Scary. I'm going for the big ZD because maybe you bake it with on top. You get that brown cheese on top. All than you. All everybody wants the corner slice because it burns in the corner. Corner big ZD is the way to go. You get the middle, big z D. You're a punk. It's like sitting in the back seat of a car and you get middle bitch seat, middle bitch z You don't want that. That's like when you get a Sicilian pizza and you get the middle slice. That's the bitch slice. You want the side with the crust. The middle slices. The slice with the saucy is the saucy est in the cheesies. You go for the corner because it's got its own handle. That right, and it's crusty, and you have the crust and the pizza. You get the middle. You just get pizza, no crust. Sicilian is about the crust. You're aft man. Your holiday shot. You should go to her family's house see what they're making. You should go by. I can't come Christmas Day. I'm going over to Robin's place. Her families making stuff shells. Wow, you know, and if it was Ravioli's it would it wouldn't be stuff shells, No, what you should call. I don't want to make this. I don't want to make this podcast about your family. But I would call your brother up right now and your sistems see how they feel about this. I'm saying that's what I would do. I would be pissed. That's what happens when you live in Bensonhurst. Okay, people are gonna check myself the Wheezer's Song of Beverly Hills. Yes, where I come from, it's a freaking great. My automobile is a Cadillac. My fashion sentence to where all black and my friends are just as trendy as me. I went to six years of high school. I dropped out of my g e d at Gold's gym. I toned my body big sausage in my podcast, pants and hers Genus and Donessy lemon and pants and hers, pants and hers. We're all wearing Gimy teas, Guido's Guidos, Lemon and beans and hers hanging out at Bay Ridge Boss. Most of them do not check. I d family houses whichree floors. There is a driveway in between. I wanna beat you with a fact. I want to wear clothes from Chess King. I got around the buck ground pool. I wear a faky ray bants and hers toees and name Marie's leaving bands and hers pants and hers. The b train is now the deed Kinny's Kitty's living and bands and hers. The truth is, you just don't understand. It's something that you're born into. Different people don't belong. I won't move. I'm just the Brooklyn kind of fool and moved through Standing Island. Some day that is where we'll find our why because we are not game bants and Hers, Joe's and Rose Louise Night living in Benson by cruising up eighties six Streight. Hi, listen, there's a lot of there's a lot of references. I know, turn Off, tough turn by my box. Hey, that's the sort that you'll be here. Just forget about it now. Yo, that's my sister who stole the hood on him and on my can. Hey, you want to go to roll Roster? How about us? Got him? Okay, guys, I gotta look at my nails. Done, father got I love it. First of all, David Brody, you wrote that. I did write that, and it was sung by our friend Free and you and me and me and you, you and me a long time ago. But you know what for someone who actually loves to you know, we love when we get your the parody songs on the radio, and sometimes they're cut off, they're cut short. And here we are with a three minute song that is produced fully by all of us, and we have our own form to play it. And you're a little gun shy about playing It's not that it's First of all, there's some dated references. I wrote that ten years ago. Plus, if you're not from our neighborhood, you're not going to know some of the things that we mentioned. And I bet you our listeners will the one small neighborhood will get it. Listen, if you're listening to this podcast in the Midwest, if you watch Set It in a Fever from seventy seven with John Travolta, you will get that that if you're in California, if you're in Montana, North Dakota, the moor will not get the reference that you shopped in Chess King. No, but you you can understand that it is a localist. Have you played Mudsy Sticks? We have to set that up and explain it. I mean listen. This is the whole this is the free Dessert episode. What I'm gonna have stuff to talk about, all right, I know, but I want to hear another one of our songs. Okay say and I collaborated on a few. So so what was it was? Magic Stick, the fifty little kim Okay. So in in Brooklyn, Uh, mozzarella sticks. If you've had mozzarella sticks at any theme restaurant or any you know, bar pub whatever you call hi, mudsie sticks, Muzzie short from Mozzarella. In fact, my dog is named Mussy short from Mozzarella because that's what we called mozarella in Brooklyn. Give me the muzzy sticks. Get your off, give me one, go up to the counter and get your own order. Come on, don't be a cavon al right here, take one hollow at this one. I hate that. Come on. That was good. That was what we used to be allowed to do. That we had more time. See that was great? How great did that feel? Right now? That was five and a half minutes of stuff that we worked on together. Didn't we play the Bubericle Lestra on this week? We did? Yeah? Yeah, I don't play. So here's what we'll do. Let's play baseball in Brooklyn. I got that one too. I want to play that one because it's no Um, we'll do a new one. You and I'll do a production. But while we're at it, we gotta play baseball in Brooklyn. We're the Brooklyn Boys. We're not. It doesn't make any sense. O doesn't that one completely doesn't make any sense? All right? All right, but the audience will be thanking me now later. I mean, you know, those songs were good. That was fine. You didn't want to you didn't want to play You didn't want to play benson Hurst by Wheezer living in Bensonhurst. I think it's a great song. I just think I think that even if you don't understand every reference, you could still understand that there were some localisms in there. So late in that way, all right, who can relate. I mean, I'm sure that if we if we went to Cleveland and wrote the same song, there's probably a town in Cleveland that we could write a very similar to songs about Cleveland. You did. Yeah, before we were on in Cleveland, I wrote a bunch of songs about the neighborhood. Is it the east Side? I think I did east Side West sixth Street. Yeah, but it was a big drug area and one of the shows in Cleveland hired me to write a song about that area. What is that song? I think they still uses a pay phone and it's like a YouTube video classic. Oh man, all right, Brodie, what were you got going on here? You you want some male? We got some male from our last podcast. You want to read some twitch, I want to read quick. I want to read a couple of let's say, oh okay. Uh So Samantha Richardson, who is Savannah smiles nine. She writes to us a lot. Yeah. She just tweeted me and said, hey, at David Underscore Brody, as someone who works for UPS, I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with the customer service wrap you were dealing with. I could have easily sent a messenger to the customer center, a message to the customer center and had them send a driver to pick up the box at my address. So again, thank you, sir Savannah. But as you heard at the end of the podcast, it really wasn't UPS fault and UPS saved the day. I also want to give a shout out to I got this tweet today from Craig Wigginton Jr. Craig wig with two gs uh he writes at Brooklyn Boys w t F and at David un Score Brody. Uh So got myself a full refund on an Amazon item since it was ordered Monday with one day shipping and set to arrive now on Friday, five four days later. Great some service gave me a full refund and told me to keep the item for the inconvenience bam hashtag free dessert. I'm telling you free dessert is spreading across the country. You just write a book. I am going to In fact, I made I reached out to someone to get me to talk to a literary agent. Uh in the new year working on the book. Mail talk that sounds like it's mail time. You guys rock along with my, oh my, my beautiful ten year old son. Uh Okay, there's some issues there they don't want to talk about because they go into like please keep this private. I'm like, all right, all right, so they're gonna men name no no okay, no no, no, no, okay, I'm gonna skip all that personal stuff. Thank you for opening and sharing with us though, But I really want to say that I love you guys truly from the bottom of my heart. Your podcast helps me keep my head up and it keeps me from going to dark places. I'm just grateful and happy that as someone like you in my life to make me literally laugh out loud, even if for a little while, Transmit transcends me to a place of peace and happiness. It's an amazing podcast. Many more, core Thanks Corey. And then we got this email. Do you ever get an email to but it's a phone number. It's a phone number, so I don't know what this person was trying to do, but they were in the moment this This was I guess they were listening to the podcast yesterday at four thirty pm. This is one of three messages I got. I guess it was sent as a as an email from their phone, but the return addresses their phone number. Hi guys, my uber driver just cut into an eighteen wheeler at four pm on the Cross Bronx at Boston Post Road. And it's now four thirty pm and no, no, no way to handle this situation. Wait, no, no cops have arrived. At the scene. I can't cancel my uber ride because the app doesn't allow it. Can I get some advice on how? Next message to handle this situation? Thanks in advance. The uber dry ever was asking me on what he should do. Do you believe this, Brodie? Do you understand what just happened? I don't think I understand it? What happened? Okay? It was an email to out the Booklyn Boys podcast at gmail dot com. They must have been listening to your uber rant. They must have heard your podcast, and then a couple of hours later they sent an email to us in three parts. It was a hastily written thing. It was Eric co to seven. So the first message of three. It's one of three messages because I guess that's the way their phone to be a clamshell phone or something. Hi, guys, my uber driver just cut into an eighteen wheeler at four pm on the Cross Bronx at Boston Post Road. It is now four pm, a noake. Cops have arrived at the scene. I can't cancel my uber ride because the app does not allow it. Can I get some advice on hop out to hand? That's the third message, how to handle this situation? Thanks in advance. The Uber driver was asking me on what do you should do? Uh? You? I love experts, I know, Like, wait a second, I just got it to an accident in my Uber and I just heard the Uber rant on the book Boys podcast. I'm going to send them an email. Yeah they know? Yeah, wow, Well listen, I already said a lot of people have been tweeting at me and emailing me and slide into the old d M s asking me for customer services. Ace. Uh, somebody. I'll see if I could find her her tweets He said a problem at McDonald's, and she wrote McDonald's a customer service letter and wanted my opinion on her customer service letter. So I'll get to that, Bex. I want to tell you what I think she should have added to the customer service letter to get better feedback. But that's great. Um, we're not experts on Uber. But here's what I would say to the person who emailed us. What's her name? I don't know, phone number. It's a phone number at Sprint dot com or something. It literally came like, So here's what I would say. You can go in the app and there's a customer service you can complain about the ride. You can explain what happened, right and as you know from my uberrant, Maya and I get back to you the first time actually responding to what the words you the words you used in your email, they're actually pretty good. I've actually eventually when they stopped the form responses and they actually read it and right back to you. They're fine. I've not had the experiences that you've had. By the way, that's why I do the ranting. You're you've lived chalm life. This is from baby girl with two eyes in the middle and at you and some numbers. Uh, this is like my d M s hete Brody. I just wanted to say, just finished listening episode twenty one of the Brooklyn Boys podcast. Great rant about the ups package was a great way to end the podcast. It was hilarious. You had me in tears. Love the podcast. Um. This is from Gladys trying to explain why I just burst into laughter after the ups rant on the Brooklyn Boys podcast. I think even at Scary Jones actually enjoyed it this time. Happy holidays, guys. I'm really looking forward to the Free Dessert episode, which was which is what we're talking about glad you're feeling better because I was sick. Okay, Um, I hope it's not too fattening the Muzzarella King. We're just talking about Muzzie. Uh at the Mozzarella King. What a great Twitter handle. I love Snooky. I love at Snooky. I still proudly display her bobble head. I don't if that means it's a picture of Snooky or an actual bubble head. Hello, please have her on the Brooklyn Boys. And she hit that too. He hit that to both of us. Good, so he that's he okay, And we have one more from Palmer Denisco. Palmer Denisco. I was so excited to see episode one posted today, and you guys delivered. I think the second funniest podcast so far, second to the Fat jew who needs to come back? Love you guys have to have him on. We've got to have him back. Hilarious. By the way, keep up the great work. Hashtag Team Brody, hashtag sorry scary so we love him. I don't have to be a dick hold on Jacob Zabner. I just finished listening to the podcast, and I must say you didn't let me down. And by the way, the ups rant was great. What an ending. I don't want to spoil it, but absolutely loved it and can't wait for the next one that might I don't know if you're ever going to top that rant. That was hilarious. I still think the uber rant with this, I fuck you as a Melissa bitch. I think that like that and I really and the and the nachos, right. I love the verse of fortune of this one is just it was a curb your enthusiasm kind of ending that was. I could see Larry David driving his car up along the the delivery truck like I was hopping over a speed bumps trying to cast It definitely paints the picture in my head. So what do you have on something? I've got one used joke and a couple of things that I'm upset about. I'm not even gonna play the music for the used joke. What was it? Really? I don't get to the music. I'll give you the music. He wants the music, everybody. So we were talking about cash you milk on the show and the benefits of cash you milk versus regular milk and lactose and tolerant whatever. And I don't remember who it was on this show. Maybe it was Elvis. He said, how do you get cash? You milk from the cashews, And I said, you milk the nuts, get it from the nook. Only one unused joke today, Well, because I did them all yesterday on last week's podcast. Again, we're doing this back. This is this is back to back days. Here we're working over time for you, guys. I'm gonna by the way, everybody fucking left. Do you notice that the only ones from the building we're technically on vacation, but we're giving you another one because we're here for this is the free dessert. Instead of a picture of us on a on an envelope, it says happy holidays with us wearing fancy red dresses. Uh, you get the extra but by the rule of free dessert and by the rule of you burned my steak. Remember, we're giving you the free dessert because we fucked you last week, but you didn't give you an episode. Well no, technically the free desserts that we gave them three minutes last week. No, no, no, no no. See this is the way I see it, and this is the way the listeners are gonna see it, because they're gonna want another one see the whole concept of getting you know, great customer service after having awful and awful. Yeah, you burn my steak, you bring me another steak, even as not even free dessert. So here's here's the analogy. Okay, we didn't do a podcast last week, so that was like us burning their steak. So yesterday we gave them a ninety three minute No no, we gave them an episode, but it was ninety three minutes which was a steak and dessert. But this is not the free dessert though. People are gonna be like, whoa this? No, No, they're gonna say today, no, yesterday, Yesterday was this week's episode. Yesterday Yesterday was that week's episode. Hold on, and today is the episode that we missed out on last week. We still owe them the one of those episode is called free dessert. They're gonna say, this isn't free dessert. Technical Okay, first of all, you put that thought into their head. I think they were fine. We burned their steak and then gave them a porterhouse for two yesterday minutes. Is that giant Like it's one of those listens just look at it as yesterday's steak was so big. Last episode it was like one of those if you finished it, we put your picture on the wall. That's how big yesterday's episode was ninety We brought Bethany. She had a smoking cop. By the way, if he didn't, it looks like a cowboy. Please go watch the video at David Underscore Brody of Bethany casting her spell on episode twenty one with the with the with the smoke coming bubbling out of the cop. Okay, but what I'm saying is, and I'm not trying to tell you, I'm just saying that that we missed a week, so we gave them an episode yesterday. I will tell you what. I will tell you what. I'll tell you why. I'll tell what I see. This one is the episode we missed from the week before, but we still owe them free I'll tell you why. We're we're good on this. We missed the episode. Right, because they missed an episode, we gave them the Porterhouse of podcasts, the hashtag Porterhouse podcast uhe minutes right, gave him the supersize, which was all way of saying sorry. Then instead of going on vacation today, this is the free dessert. We instead of not having a podcast for two weeks. We're giving them an episode the week of Christmas that we wore going to do. But as my father says, you give him a finger to take the hall arm. You know what's gonna happen. They're gonna be like, where's next week's episode? Because guess why, we're not gonna be there, the Brooklyn Boys, We're gonna be on vacation week of January one. We're not gonna be here. In fact, we're not getting back to the radio station until January eight after today. So how are we going to help them out? You know what the girls from the Quired Taste do. They give them an episode every freaking week, all fifty two weeks. So now what, Okay, we're kind of short an Acquired Taste podcast. I love the girls and I love them. I love their podcast, but here's the thing, they're still here. They pick a topic, they pick a topic or two, and they just do them. They do topics, which is great. You and I free form rant based on whatever just happened in our lives. I don't have a god willing I don't have fifty two rants of complaints. I might have forty eight. I mean, the way my life high blood Press. Oh my god, I'm on I'm on the Uh yeah, I'm on the tourvis Staton. I got ten milligrams of that to keep the old old. Yeah. Okay, so I think we're good. I think people understand we're taking a vacation as long as as long as we're even now because this is the free dessert, I'm just saying. I didn't want to point it out, but let me tell you what I'm what I'm upset about. Number one. Every every Christmas, did I tell you talking about the movie the Christmas movie? Okay, every Christmas, because we're Jews, we go to the movies of child. Yes, I told you what movie. You didn't say the movie. That's my problem. So every year we pick a movie, usually a superhero movie, action adventure. If I already said this, I apologize. I don't think I mentioned the movie. So this year, my wife says, we're going to see pitch Perfect three. Oh I have three daughters. They're all like all about it. They love the pitch Perfect series. They love it. I said, no, wait a minute, I don't really want to see pitch Perfect. I think you might have mentioned it on the other podcast. Did Yeah? So I'm so part of me is like I want to be with the family. I want to suck it up and go to Pitch Perfect three. To me, it's it's not my sty it's not my style. So like, well, you can go see a different movie a different theater, like I can go see it. I was like, I don't want to do that, all right, So that's my my I gotta figure that out. By the time you hear this, I will have seen a movie on Christmas. I don't know what yet. I'm also upset about my tailor. My tailor screwed me over and my wife's tipping. Not my own tailor, the dry cleaners. The dry cleaner has a tailor, like like you know a person that sews repairs buttons, the sewing woman you make. It's not like you're it's your personal attendant. No, I please on my own tailor. No, no, no, what is no? Uh So I have that problem. I'll get to in a minute. But I want to talk about tipping. I'm not looking to offend anybody. If you do one of these jobs, your noble. You have a great job. You work very hard. I appreciate the work you do, but I I tip very generously when I go out to eat, because wait staff makes three dollars an hour to fifty an hour to thirty, and you provide the income based on the service. Right. And then there's some people in your life, like the garage attendance where we work. They bust their ass. They always had my car ready. They go aboth and beyond for me. Right, I give him a card with money, and I also I also tipped them every day. Give him a couple of dolls every day. End of the year again whatever, See, I don't I don't give him money of the day. I give them a little bamn at the end of the year. I got hit him over the head. No, I I know, because I don't want to know. I don't want them to wait the whole year. Plus if they get fired in the middle of the year, they don't get anything. So I give I get or they get transferred advantage. Scary. Yeah, No, I give them for every quarter I give them. Okay, you give them all something, little taste. I give him weekly, give him hey, hey, you go okay. My wife says to me, Oh, don't write any checks out of this account. It's low. I was low. I just had a whole bunch of them. I had to take money out. But what oh? I tipped the garbage guys. I tipped the ups driver, which I told you I was fine with because of the rant. I was gonna give them money anyway. Just I tipped the um the mailman, and I tipped the the long guys. They did uh the final cleanup of the leaves of my house. Yeah? Now, did you tipped them or did she tipped them? Or did she call it a holiday gift? Whatever? My point is she gave the money and was like here, Merry Christmas, Happy holidays. Whatever. That's very nice of her. Here's my problem. Look, you as listening to this podcast. You can do whatever you want. You want to give everyone all your money, that's fine. But some people have full paying jobs. Some of them might make as much or more than I do. Good for them. Fantastic a mail carrier, you work very hard. Right when Fred, our friend Fred the mailman, love him great? Okay? They have government jobs with benefits, great job, right? What am I tipping them for? They're doing their job, They're getting paid to do their job. Now you want to give him a bottle of liquor like you have a rapport over the over the the year. They play with the dog. They're friendly. They if they make a mistake, they come back with your mail. They go in a bun. Hey, here's a bottle of something. I get it. But money. It just seems strange to me. I don't tip the firefighters and police officers in my town. I would, I would, I should? I guess I should? Why and why am I tipping the garbage guys. The garbage guys spend the whole year throwing my pails on my lawn, putting them in front of my driveway, so when I come home, I have to move them to get my car on the driveway. It's not like they're pampering my pails. The last two weeks a year when they're pining for They broke the wheels off of my cardboard pail. It's not made of cardboards for the cardboard recyclables. They broke the lid off one of my regular garbage pails. I had a call up and have them re fund my money for it. It's not like they're the world's greatest nice guys. I seem in the morning, Hey, how you doing guys? Why am I tipping them? I don't, And why is my wife tipping them? I don't get you know why because it's the time of season. But I I tip the second the second. Now, this is why I live in an apartment building and I'm hiding behind the door of my apartment. I don't front face any garbage man. I don't see anybody like people like that, the people of the neighborhood that leaves people right. However, the people I come in contact that with every day. We have a porter who takes care of all the garbage for the building. We have a handyman who takes care of anything you need at any time of the day. And I have four doormen and women. Guess what, every single one of them, including my superintendent who didn't mention, they each get a card from me, and they each get I'm just gonna say, no, no, no, a lot of money. Not I'm just gonna say I tipped them really well, because it's the only tips that these are. These are the ten people in my life that really make it easy to live in my apartment condo complex. No, okay, second, hold on, Then there's the post person. This is where it starts getting sketchy to me. Because everything that I just mentioned great, But the the postal service person, the regular mail person, they leave a card in my mailbox, actually in the same card in everyone's mailbox, deliver that a pleasure to serve you this year, and they shove it in your mailbox. Now that is technically where I draw the line, because to me, it's like, wait a second, that's a racket. You you have a full paying job where you stuff mail into the box and you're standing in one spot. You're not a mail carrier. Now, if it was a mail carrier going door to door to door, say you're building has a mail carrier, like a male person, dedicated mail person that the mail room guy in an office. Yes, their soul job is to stand there and take mail, sort them and put them in slots, stand in one spot. That's where it starts getting a little gray for me. I don't tip that person. I ignore the card. I'm like fucked, I'm not giving it no, because they're standing that they have They're signed one building and they stand there all day and that's all they do. Now in Brooklyn old School, my mail carrier, they would go up and down staircases every day in all kinds of weather job. No, that's where I disagree with you. Those people got tips from my family every year. But that's the job. It's a good It depends on the labor involved. What about guys building office buildings? They work hard, construction guys where everybody works hard. They're doing a job. It's a job. He's not delivering you a mail better than he delivers other people's mail. But it's it's physical labor. Yeah, but that's the job. So so you brody, you live in a standalone house in the neighborhood. You should be tipping your mail carrier. His job is to bring me the mail. Do you have to tip the FedEx guy? And Ups guy, and and the guy in the van who delivers for Amazon, those who slaps the sticker on the side of his truck. Do I tip him? No? Those are What about DHL? About when the guy comes once a year from DHL? Is DHL still thing? Do I have to tip a DHL guy? No? Those people you don't. Those are the premium services. I don't. I think milk carriers you gotta tip. But what they work? They have a government job with great benefits. What my dad was a police officer, for thirty years. Okay, he risked his life, walked into terrible apartment buildings, ran into crime scenes, he stopped crimes in stores. I didn't know if he was coming home every night. No one ever said, hey, a officer Brody, he has a hundred bucks. Happy holidays. They should have. Oh, that'd be nice, but no it's not. But the world doesn't work. That doesn't work. That the highest paid people work the least. That's the way the world. Teachers get tips, people say, if you I talked, listen, you know my right people? You know poor people that don't work hard enough. If they worked on bullshit? What people work harder than anybody, they worked three jobs. I'm just saying, what about teachers. Teachers? Teachers get tips, they get bottles. No, they don't get gift cards. You don't get no, No, you give them, give them a gift card. They give gift cards to their kids. Teachers. You know what, you can also give them a little little like you can put a gift bags. And I think you need I think you need to. I don't have kids, but get handy. You can not kids. Teachers would be hooked up if I had kids. That's you. But but that's a one on one and one single day experience about my hair stylist. I'm giving her double No, I give I give them a tip every time I get a haircut. I give her a nice card every year. Again. Why why? Because because it's because you've become you've developed a personal relationship with that person, goes beyond did your hair dress to give you a present for the holidays? Hey, thanks for a year of using my service. Thank you for being a good customer. But why not? But see that the mail carrier. You can tell you're paying her all year, but shouldn't she get you a gift? But it's no. Oh, hey, hey Anthony, you've been a great customer. You come to me a loyal for four years now something. No, you're paying horror every month and a half for a haircut, and you tip her every month and a half. And you're gonna give her holiday present? Yeah? And and I get my hand November and February. Well, I get every month. I get what every five weeks? But if you live a mail carrier, you develop a personal relationship them at work when the mail called, my mail carrier stands behind a fucking wall and shoves mail into slots. That's the reason why I don't tip that one person. You don't mean mail carry, you mean like mail room person in your building, but a mail carrier. But that person must do something else. Obviously takes fifteen minutes. Your wife obviously comes in contact with the person. Right, Hey, how's it going, Joe and mailman? My My wife is out all day too. She sees the mail guy once, maybe on Saturday morning. Once. I don't think my doorman deserve tips. The all they do is they stay at twenty four hours a day of opening the doors, making sure that they collect my packages, my FedEx is and everything. I dropped the house a thousand times. I've never once seen anybody. But you have a revolving door. It on you. Yeah, door man, do what is he pushed for you? They handle my packages? I bet they do. No one need give them money. They handling your package. No, they handled that. They signed for everybody to reach around. They signed for every box that comes in. They hold on. They might dry cleaning everything. You know what You call that their job? I know, but it's a personal level thing. Look, if you're okay, okay, check this, I'm checking all right, there's a guy. Okay, we throw our garbage down and shoot all the people. Right, all right, you go to the you go to the garbage room and you throw it and it goes down to shoot. There's a guy a porter at the bottom of that shoot a giant ass dumpster, collecting, compressing and dealing with everyone's garbage. Got it. That guy gets a good tip from me because he's throwing it down the shoot down envelope down the shoes at the other end, like a bag with a dollar sign on it, and drop it down on like physically bad. He's making this physical labor there and he works in my building and the same Yes, and you could laughed, Brodie. But I have somebody who comes to my apartment once every two weeks and cleans my apartment, and yes, I pay her for that. This is the one. You don't know. Her name name is Stella, but you know I love her. We talked about that on one of the podcasts. You didn't know what that. I don't know what that, but I learned it since that podcast. But I will say this, in the holiday, I give her a card and I give her a nice cash gift on topic. Can I tell you? Because she not deserved a tip from me. But she's doing it. Okay, I'll tell you why she does. Because people are clean your homes, work twice as hard as you and I do. They do the work that we don't have time for or don't want to do. And they also they don't they're not wealthy people usually usually, and so it's like it's like bonusing a waitress or someone that that works and works on I'm okay with that. She's in your home. You trust her. She's loyal when you find someone that cleans your home and works when your home. She don't want me if it's well right more. Since I was looking with grect T a second sev years, she's been with me. All right, Okay, So so I will. I will confess that we have we have a woman that comes every month. That's about all we can afford. Hold on, hold on hold. So she came two weeks ago, three weeks ago. She's not due to come back, right. She calls my wife on Monday and says, Oh, I'm gonna be out of town for a couple of weeks, going back to my country to see my family. Uh So why don't I, why don't I come this week, because you know, otherwise you won't have me for like five five weeks. So my wife says, Hey, just want to know so and so is coming to do the house this week because I have to put things away whatever, like organized before we clean the house. I clean my dress, her off, get it organized whatever. I feel like maybe she moved her week to holiday tipping week. Yeah, I'm okay with that. I just I totally see what she did. Okay, she she did the math, and she's like, wait a minute, she wants to make sure that she gets it right there in that in that window when you're thinking about but it's still safe to say Merry Christmas, holidays whatever whatever. You Yeah, she's smart, yeah, smart woman. Love her, I trust her, you know whatever. But I just love her, give her, of course I do. But that's a different situation. She doesn't have a government job with benefits. She's working to support her her son, and and she's and I believe me, I'm thrilled to have you know that she works with us. I'm thrilled. But I just feel like, you know, my wife's throwing tips around. That's really where I'm going, growing the tips around. You know what I'm tired for for two thousand seventeen. Hold On, I want to give a little teaser. I'm gonna I'm gonna when we come back, so I'm gonna look forward to ladies and gentlemen. I'm gonna rant about holiday temp employees at the mall, of which I used to be one. I'm gonna rant about my the woman who does this, the sewing woman at the dry cleaners. Okay, I'm gonna rant about America online. Well, well rant but they went way Nope, not yet, but I'm gonna discuss that. Uh, and I'm gonna tell you how the movie experience went when we come back. And if I like to see pitch Perfect three or not. I don't find that woman funny. The what's her name? Kend No the other one. Hold on, hold on. Bethany wants to say goodbye and happy New Year. You have a button on the board. There's a button there, there's a button. Hi, Bethany, Hey, Bethany. What's the Australian woman's name in pitch Perfect? What's the blonde woman's name with a strange name in pitch Perfect? The blonde Yeah, Rebel Wilson. I'm not I'm not a fan I do. I sn't one trick pony to me. Beth, You're gonna curse for us? Maybe. All right, a lot of people are leaving. I did I we thought you guys left. I didn't know. No, No, they're still mailing out acquired taste podcast. By the way, we said what you what you gave. Because this one't air for another week and half, we can have the people will have already gotten oh to forget what we said. Love Yeah, your audience does, bethany everyone, it's been a great year. Hey, thanks for this is our first official you know seen we started in the summer and so good. Yeah. I like this and I just want to just take a moment to just thank everybody. Um start with me. I want to thank you, of course, I want to thank you. No kidding, No, it's really cool because I didn't know that if this was going to materialize. When I asked you to do this, I did say no that I was like, okay, So behind the scenes, Brody at first was like no, no way, no way. It took me quite a bit of phone conversations and meetings and like hanging out with Brody just chilling like we got it. We know each other for so many years? How can we not do a podcast together? And I said, I'm doing the Walkers and Talkers podcast and on the phone taps and I write for the comedy department upstairs and handful. And I said, Brodie, what if we did a nice podcast once a week we don't like Oh, you said, it'll be like a half hour. It'll like a half hour. It will be fine. I said, what are we gonna talk about? I don't know. I said it'll be low stress. Ye, but no really and it's I didn't know that. Here's what I'll say, the best part about this is in addition to the feedback, by the way, honestly, and that was the next thing. I was gonna get people, the people who have been tweeting us and and d m ng us and everything that that really appreciate what we do and appreciate the rants and you know, um, we really appreciate that. But more than that, for me, I'm a high strung person. And the fact that I have this at this avenue event my misery. Has this made you less of person? Yeah? So what happens is I used to like be stressed about so he any stories and I'm this is not like I don't like Google rants right, I live these things. And I I used to be very stressed and like, all right, I would drive my family crazy. Now I come I have an out and then people like, oh my god, it was so funny. I'm glad people are laughing at my at my stress and my bad luck. Um, and so a lot of it turns into good luck and free dessert and it's fun. But this has been a great way for me. So the fact that anyone appreciates I got a tweet yesterday, no from today, and they said, I think I think it's from Lucy. I don't wanna be wrong, but the tweet said I could listen to David Brodie Color Loose. Yeah, so she said I could listen boy, No, it's Alicia, Alicia Rose. I could definitely listen to David Brodie about things all day. That means a lot to me because I drive the people in my life crazy, complaining, and the fact that you guys find it funny means a lot. I appreciate it. I really wanted to say, aside from dank thanking you Brodie, I really do think that. Well, First of all, I gotta thank the listeners. It's fascinating and amazing. Uh to come in here do this and have feedback from people that actually that we brighten their day. But they're engaged, they're engaged with this. We email us and it's it's right, it's more. It's different than listening to the radio, because when you're listening to the radio, a lot of times, you have seven thousand things going on and it's it's kind of in the background and you're punching through the whatever it is you that might be listening to our big show. You might have to go any way to choose this, right, Yeah, you are. You physically had to download this podcast and subscribe to it. You physically had to. You're paying for the data or the you know, the WiFi. You're choosing us, and that means so much to me. Uh, And I didn't think that we would ever be able to do something. And for the half of the audience and you guys still listening to this, thank you. You know, you know, I'm humbled. I'm humbled by the experience. I really can and I you know me, Brodie, I'm crazed in other ways because I'm I'm never around and I'm always doing all this freaking so much stuff. I love and appreciate every single one of you that listened to us, and I might not show it a lot on social media. I try and see the tweets and I hit the like button. I hit that I don't know, you know, I don't get a chance to write back to people. I probably should maybe work on that as my New Years resolution. Anyway, So that big said, thank you Scary for forcing my hand uh to do the podcasts. And next time you'll hear this, um, I will be a different Scary because I'll be in the middle of my Doctor Fat Loss hit the jingle. I cannot at the last minute. I'm gonna be doing my detox, my annual detox, so we'll have more stuff to talk about. I'll be telling you I don't want to hear what your calorie count is. I don't want to stop it now. It helps me. We're all getting through this together. How many people are going to be into fitness diet by yourself thinking how many people are gonna be going on a treadmill. You gonna be losing weight. I'm on a diet. I have no money for food, thanks to my wife the Maleman is getting fat though, and by the way, again, if you're a male man, I apologize.
