Speaker 1: Chick Chick Chick Chick Chick Chick Chick Chick Chick were on. Yeah, we're on. There's no music, right, we can't know you can't play music at no. You know, it's it's kind of difficult to just start without music. Yeah, which is why after this one we'll have music. I mean, we're just starting this this episode one, right, So alphabutical lorder. I'm David Brody and you are a guy. That's right. That's that's how I should go first. Yeah, no, not necessarily. So this is our first official podcast. Last week we did a podcast which was sort of a reset, and we talked about what we might want to do and we kind of hashed out some possibilities and so here we are. So you have suckered me into this. I suckered you? Yes, well, yes, you think I don't know? No, no, I think I think our listeners were the ones who sucked. Okay, initially you you suckered me and would buying me a cannadiet coke and bribed me to come in, and you had me do some guest appearances on another podcast that you were doing. You can, you can, It's totally fine people. Yeah, So I came into the Off Fair podcast a bunch of times. It's not a curse word, No, not at all. And then as it was sort of uh changing and deconstructing itself, um, I had filled in a couple of times it did, and you're like, oh, we should do a podcast together if if other people don't want to do that podcast anymore, and we can move on, and it's okay, didn't want to do the Fair podcast anymore, which you're fine. We still love Greg Teas, and I didn't feel comfortable replacing or taking a spot on that particular podcast, which I thought was well established, had a great history and very loyal fans. And so you and I debated whether or not we were going to start with episode one or continue with episode one forty nine or whatever it was. And we're gonna keep the name, keep the the whole thing. So we're gonna keep the feed. I spoke to Chris Peterson, he's the head of podcasting company. We're gonna keep the feed. So this way, the people you're automatically subscribed, congratulations, yes, congratulations. If you don't like what you're about to hear, then you could just hit the unsubscribe. So here's the thing. This is not the same podcast. It's a new podcast. But we're We're on We're the new show on on the on on ABC network. Like it's like, right, the new fall lineup. So this is the new showing you have like Musty TV, like Thursday nights and replaced Friends. Right, So I will say, yeah, right, I will say a lot of a lot of the All Fair followers, yes at the All Fair heads, and a lot of the Elvis Strand in the Morning show listeners in the fifteen minute Morning Show listeners have been very supportive of this, and I keep writing back to them like, I hope I don't let you down, hope you're excited about it, because this is a living, breathing thing. At the end of the day, Brodie, you know you're very well loved. You've been at the radio station for the you know, like the nine years, yeah, nineteen years. Okay, but the point is, you know, so so they love you, they hear you, and other things. I hope I hope that I listen. My my goal in life is to entertain people, to make them off. That's all. That's what I'm here for. And so one person tweeted yesterday, it doesn't matter who it was, and said to the to the off air Twitter account said, uh, Brodie's not really my taste. So I'm gonna pass. And so because there's gonna be people that we're gonna so I want to be up front if you don't like this, you know, constructive criticism is great. But tweeting at the account and then tweeting at me things about me, why is that a problem. By the way, I'll tell you why. Okay, So, for instance, I'm a big Mets fan, right, Sometimes, yes, sometimes I like to bitch about baseball players or politicians or TV shows or whatever. But I like to do it so that people who agree with me would disagree with me can chime in to me and say, oh, I hated last night's episode, or I think such and such picture stinks, right, friendly banter, somebody's got something negative. What I don't What I don't do is I don't tweet at the picture. I don't tweet at the baseball player. Let's let's say, Steven, it was Matt Harvey. I said something about I love Matt Harvey. I've met him. He's a great guy. But I said something about Matt Harvey about Pitt New York Mets. Maybe he shouldn't be going out so much with the party in and the supermodels because it's affecting I would not do that. I was tweeting it to my fellow Met fans and followers to go, what do you guys think? And if people could debate me and have a little conversation, that's fine. Well somebody wrote back and said, at Matt Harvey thirty three, you know, and then at me, I agree, Matt Harvey blah blah blah blah blah. So now if I'm Matt Harvey, I'm seeing me who he doesn't know me, but he knows where I work. You know, I've met him in a bunch of different situations I do. I'm not looking at badmouth him. I'm looking to just have some healthy sports talk. And so I'm a big proponent. If you're going to talk about someone and you really don't want to hurt their feelings, don't put their Twitter handle. I don't, don't add me, don't add David on the score, proody behind it back. I'm saying, send scary an email, a send scary a direct tweet, but don't write but don't you know, just say at Scary Jones, I'm not sure I like the direction or Brodie's not really my style. I'm not everybody's style. No, no, listen, I love Chicken Palm. There are people who don't like Chicken Parm, that's right, But I don't. I don't tweet at Chicken Palm and say, hey, that guy didn't like you. By the way of Chicken Palm had a Twitter, I'd follow probably, I would probably. So the point is I said to the guy, listen, if you don't like my style, if Chicken Parm had a Twitter, by the way, I would cover. And I don't. And I don't really know. I guess he he may know my style from my phone taps or fifty Mining Shower or walkers and talkers on our Heart Radio. Right, ok, podcast, This is now my fourth podcast. I think it's four's alright, well, well good, you know what. Here's the thing. This is in the beginning, right, but here's the thing. It's just just a quick update. Um so this podcast, Will Will Will be here. We're gonna try this one, and we have a name and we have music. Right, but before we get to that, I just want to just clear up some other business. Obviously, Share Cheryl Cosenza, Share Nos Whare No she was was a great part of the off air show. She was. She was one of the team members and obviously, um, she and I now are going to break off into another podcast which doesn't have a name yet, So we're gonna do a weekly podcast with She's gonna do her Share Nose there and I'm gonna be with her on that, but not for another couple of weeks because she's in Los Angeles right now. She's doing auditions. But she sends her love to everybody. And if this flows smoothly in his time like I was previously, I will drop in on occasion to that podcast if you'll have me. If yeah, no, I'm sure that. I'm sure Share would love you. Share loves you by the way we are, we are, we do all work great together and we all still just love Greg t. He just didn't want to continue in that bald Free balth Freak with ball Free can't if he if we can, if we can get bald Freak as part of the way as part of this podcast, because based on the title alone, he fits in. He does fit in. Okay, So I think he's gonna want to keep the title of the podcast only refers to us and not the content, just the roots of where we're right. It's it's based on what Elvis always calls us whenever we agree on something and we both get excited in the room. Yeah, we're very we're very animated off the air because of where we're from. It's just the it's the accent we have and we're from the same neighborhood in in Brooklyn, and whenever we get excited or allowed in the room when we're off the air, Elvius will always go, oh, look, the Brooklyn Boys are getting upset. Yeah, exactly. So we thought that would be a good name for our podcast, the Brooklyn Boys. The Brooklyn Boys Podcast, Brooklyn Boys Podcast. So welcome to the podcast right now here now now both freak RONI. He's also from our neighborhood and you can drop in anytime he can. He's free to do it. And you know what, I will tell you something. I'll tell you something. When I told him about this the other day, he kind of had a little a little twinkle in his tooth. Well, I was like, he's like he did, and I'm gonna and I say no, Well, I laid the groundwork with the boss that told him he really has to be careful juggling his job and this, and all right, the big Boss is the reason why he's not part of my and so I and I said I would talk to that Big Boston and we'll see if we can maybe record this when he's available. Okay, come, okay, listen as far as we By the way, I want to set the ground rules right now, this is not gonna be a five day week podcast. We're doing this once a week. Are starters, and we're I'm going to do the podcast with Share Nose once a week, so I will be part of two podcasts twice a week. I don't want to overcomit myself right now. That was the mistake I made with the off air show, because let's do a four or five day week podcast fighting for time. Don't do it. You can't do it. Also, this is not a podcast to be like, Oh I like the other podcast. This is a separate thing. Uh. We can listen again. You had a great history and I was a fan. I listened all the time. I will tell you though, Chris Peterson tells me there's a lot of cross pollination. People that listen to one podcast usually listen to all of them, so I would never want to offend our Look, we still love the same the same fans who are fans of yours, and a lot of them like Dan and Omar and Jennifer have all said we're excited to have you on the show, and I have all said they're excited that I can name them all. Oh, Henry Davidson HD, where's Obi of Iowa? Yeah, exactly, So a lot of people are exciting. That's great. We hope to live up to it. So now here's the next step? UM? As a song parody writer for all nineteen years on the radio show, Yes Um, I, we couldn't figure out exactly what the theme is going to be. So we have a couple. Hold on you. You have one that I that you asked me to get produced and I changed it a little bit from the original, and then I had one that you and I sang. And I think because of what I do, we're gonna have a lot of different, at least possible themes as we go along. So should we suggested? But maybe maybe what's gonna happen is we will knock them off as we go, like, I'll bring one in a month from now and go, what do you think of this? Oh, that one's better than We'll move on. But this was just a fleeting moment. I just I think I sang it into your voicemail. I said, I got an idea, how about we do this now? What was the original? It was a song called We Dem Boys. Okay, so that let me just play a little bit of that for you, because I want you guys to understand where this is coming from. So it would be this song right here. It was it's whiz Khalifa and weed and boys. Yeah. Yeah, it's got a little bit of an in job us to cue this up right? Uh yeah, thank you. Vitill weed a moise weed a bois. We're making noise. Hal up hold hola hollo. There you go, something like that. So so then you went into the studio and you said, ah, I got my one of my parody singers who sounds like whiz a little bit. Start up dot up, start up, Brooklyn boys, start up, Brooklyn Boys, start up dot up. They're making noise, dat up up, dot up. Like that, that's pretty cool, that's pretty hot. So I changed a hold up to start up because it's for the start of the show start Up. I like it. Yeah, it's got a little gun. It's a little mystery suspense. I like that because you don't know what you're confecting. And then I also had an idea for a song based on your favorite group that sings a song about Brooklyn. It's the Beastie Boys, No Sleep until Brooklyn, which which why would I have done for other things? And we have and it's been a staple in in our other podcast that we did before this. About an hour ago, you and I went into a studio and I won't call it singing, but we we sung this. So we can talk this out on my snapchat some of the outtakes the videos there, Scary Jones, Oh Boy, Brooklyn Boys, bron Boys, brock Glass, I love that. Yeah, that is Brody and Eye on the track. Yeah, Brody and Me, Brodie and E Brodie and Me. It's not you wouldn't say it's I on the track. Brody and I like the King and I the King, And you could say you could say that's Brody and Eye on the track, but you couldn't say on the track that's Brody and Eye. You can't end with I the hell are you talking about? If you if you take the other name out, the sentence still has to make sense. So if you said Brody and I sung that song, dude, I'm I was the grammar police. Now you're not. My mom is a school teacher. Wait a second, So how would I listen? If it's before the action, it's Brodie and Eye, and if it's after the action, it's Brody and me. So what you do is you take the other name out, so you it's like Brodie and I sang that song. I sang that song and at the end you'd say that song was sung by Brodie and me. That song was sung by me. Oh so Brody and me is the correct the correct syntax at the end, Yes, that was sung by Brodi. Right, No, it's right, not funk I exactly. And by the way, this is just me busting your chops because that's what we do to each other, exactly. You guys expect a lot of that al right. By the way, Brodie, I gotta tell you, I'm a litt upset with you, and I'm upset with you, So yeah, all right, you want to go get one grievance each on this podcast. I have a grievance that I held back throughout the morning show to X. I didn't want to bear in the room. I'm gonna I'm gonna tell you about the gree with first. All right, already, you run the internship program, all right, you got, you got, You put a lot of billion interns through. But I want to say something of our show. This part of the year is just painful to watch because you have your current intern staff calling their potential replacements. I just overheard a couple of interns on the phone with resumes in their hand, saying, Hi, we won't give real names. Hi, this is uh Mrs Martin from the Elvis Duran Morning Show. Um, you know, we wanted to give you a call because we might be interested in setting you up for an interview here for an internship in the fall. How awful is that you make These interns are calling them their replacements on the phone, knowing that they're gonna they're gonna be replaced ultimately by the people they're calling. That's a terrible thing to be putting. Putting someone in it's a it's an awful position, like a turkey cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Yeah, it's terrible. Okay, welly, I mean, first of all, do you really do you really think that these interns are going to pick the best prospects? No, because question this is why I think I got the wrong thing to do. You're letting it a current current semester. In turn, all they want to do is be here for the future semesters and possibly get a job here in the future. Call these potential replacements. I think they're only going to call the people that suck because they're like, fuck it, I want to be I want to stand out. I want to call the person with the two point three great point average. And this way, when that job comes along, I'm gonna look like the shining star. O you an apologie? Everyone listening was a two point three great point aver. Oh my god, I listen. They don't. If you're listening to the podcast, you have a two point three great point average. Um, the knob on the buttons on the side of your phone make the phone louder, and if you want to lower it, you push the bottom. Okay, So, first of all, Gary Jones, the interns don't select the resumes they're gonna call I get all the resumes printed and staple with cover letters. I go through them all and then I give them the availability I have. I have a script for them to read, and they schedule the interns. But that could be even worse if you think about it. Now, It's like funck man, this person looks like there's so much better accountant than me, and now you're forcing them to be a phone call with them. It's just awkward. Okay. I hire great interns every semester. Now, the summer is not as much of a problem as what you're describing, because all of my interns this semester are going back to school and can't intern in the fall. All right. The problem comes when the fall interns want to stay a second semester and I have them setting up interviews for the spring. It's like I could be here in the spring, what the hell is it for? If interns want to come back, they can set up a meeting with me, and I sit down with them and we discuss why they want to come back, how good they were that semester, and what they hope to learn the next semester. Because it's not just about hanging out here at the radio station. I really want them to learn, and they have to, so there is a process. I but but if you're walking by, I could totally understand why you'd think that they're vulturing their own careers. I get's just it's just a terrible mess. I would keep in mind. And they all look like it's death in the room. Yes, they're in the phone room there, and I'm like, are you guys okay? Like, yeah, the semesters coming to an inn. Keep in mind last semester's interns called this semester's interns, and they have jobs because of last semester's intern It's a circle of life. It's the circle of life. If I could lift an intern up and hold them up like Simba, I would. I don't know, that's what's going on. I think it's poor as poor. I don't know. But you get anybody else to do that job? Yeah? You you know what. I'm happy that they're That's what I said, these interns. They should be at work. You're spinning. The best part about this conversation. You always want to when you have home field advantage, always want to go last. You want to bet, You want to bet, you want to bet, have last legs freaking bottom of the ninth, bottom of the ninth. So you you had your grievance, and I think our listeners will agree that was a minor grievance at best. Tweet us at our new Twitter ready for this here it is. Keep in mind, we wanted the Brooklyn Boys that was taken. We wanted Brooklyn Boys that was taken, and so we always have three letters after Brooklyn Boys to change it in some way. So you could tweet us at Brooklyn Boys w t F right, and that's the same goes for our instagram Brooklyn Boys w TF. And you could always send an email to the Brooklyn Boys Podcast at gmail dot com right here. On episode one, now, Scary actually said to me, do you think everyone knows what WTF stands for? And I said, I'm pretty sure they do. Okay, not everybody, not not people's mom. The reason why your mother, my mother knows what your mother I'll tell you what. We can call my mother right now and put her on the podcast. Let's do it, because I've seen her put it on Facebook. I'm to call my mom. To you to call my mom. You give me your number, I'll put my mom on hold. Okay, call your mom. Okay, I'm calling my mom Roseanne. Alright, I bet you she doesn't know. I bet she doesn't know. Boy, I wonder if she's even home right now. I hope she is. If what does my dad qualify? Maybe? All right, she might be in the beauty parlor. I'm gonna call my mom. That's what she does. She goes it, get for her hair and her nails. Let's try this again. Let's try this one. I'm calling live on the radio here. Sure this is riveting for podcast. I was told it's okay to take pauses, and it's not like being on the air where you have to have like action every five seconds like it's gotta be. You're calling your mom. I'm calling my mother's cell phone. Now, Yes, she's a cellphone. Is your mom have cell phone? Is it a clamshell cell? Okay, you got your mom on hold. I'm calling my mother right now. She's probably not gonna answer because it's a foreign number to her. I'm telling you, our parents don't know what Hi. Hello, Mom, Oh, hey dad, how you doing? It's what's going on? Hey? Got a question for you? Um? Do you know what you know? W t F stands for yeah, What does w t what somebody says w t F in a text? What does that mean? What? Dad? All right? You got me on that one, made me know what that is? Uh yeah, put her on the phone real quick because because did were just having a we have it bat on the phone, got Brodie, David, Brodie's here with me. That's all that I just wanted in the morning. Again. No, it's part of our podcast, the Brooklyn Boys Podcast. Does your dad have a heart radio? Do you have a heart radio? Sir? He doesn't know it. Mom, Mom, Scary, Hey, it's it's David Brody and your son. We're doing our Brooklyn Boys podcast. And Scary has a question for you. I said you would know something, and he said you wouldn't. Why if you? Uh if I wrote the words w t F in a text message letters letters w t F, would you know what that meant? What does that mean? There you go? And probably it could also mean Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Okay, alright, okay, we just our new podcast is Brooklyn Boys w t F. That's the that's the Twitter account. And I'm like, I don't think anybody's mom or dad are going to get that joke. Are you kidding. I think it's pretty popular. Yeah, very popular, especially in Brooklyn we're from, right, Okay, all right, thank you, thank you. That's all. I'm just taking a ball, thank you. Alright, you made the good We're good, both of you and daddy did it all right? Thanks? All right? This is this is crazy. It's not a phone tap. Not to put my mom on the phone. Mrs Brodie, Mom, I love you, Mama Brody. How you doing all right? Pretty good? Honey? All right, good. So listen, mom, we are we're starting our first basically our first episode of the Brooklyn Boys podcast here and on Twitter. Our Twitter name is Brooklyn Boys w t F. And because we had to fit three more letters in, and that's what we came up with. And so Scary said, I'm not sure everyone will know what that means. And I said everyone knows what that means. And he said people's mothers won't know. And I said, people's mothers will know if they're listening to the podcast. So we just had his mother on and his father and they both said they knew it was and they said what it was. Do you know what w t F stands for? Listen, I'm the mother of a Brooklyn boy. Of course that's my mother. I love you, all right, Okay, okay, so that's gonna be the official Twitter and Instagram handle Brooklyn Boys w t F. Very good mom, Thanks, I'll call you later. Goodbye bye. They changed my mom's on social media, you know, just for uniform and just have a uniform. We might have to change the change after today, after today, so we have we have cool parents. Yeah, I told you. Okay, Now, if you're if you listen, I don't know the average age of our listener, but if if you're twenty two listening to this, your parents absolutely no. Well, if you're on social media, you know that was my mom, who's a grandmother. Your mom is a grandmother, right, and your father's a grandfather. They all know w TF? All right, okay, and they're from okay, granted from Brooklyn. Sh Yes, my mother knows smh. I don't know if my mom My mom knows S and M two but not because she knows, but not the group. But my mother knows the group. She listens. Start right, My mother is cool. Hello, L doesn't have a Snapchat, but she's you know, alright, So so then so then what's your beef? With me and then we're gonna wrap up podcast. So so first of all, so first of all, let's give out our Twitter handles because some people may not know mine, which is at David Underscore Brody, I'm sorry about the underscore. Sorry, and you're and you're at Scary Jump. Okay, if so, if you want number one, let us know what you think of the podcast. There's nothing to judge us yet. I mean, this is just a well no, no, no, this is a little something you could Okay, first of all, which song did you like better the book the Beastie Boys or Wi Khalifa or you like them both, doesn't matter. Tweet us at at at Booklyn Boys, w t F w TF and and you can include our our for a while now for a little while, both of our Twitter. If you want to make some songs for us, well we'll gladly play them on the future. But try to get the Brooklyn Boys or Brooklyn Boys into the title and it makes you that's a great idea right off the bat. And I'm not into the empty promises thing. This is something that we can actually do. If you want to submit your own song, we'll play it. Okay, we'll play it on our just try not to be a syllable parody. That the syllable parodies are for for parody writers that don't put a lot of thought into it. That means like if you did um like shake it Off by Taylor Swift and you did the Brooklyn Boys the Brooklyn Boys, doesn't make any sense. You're just counting shake it Off, Brooklyn Boys, boys and off, not trying to find a song that has boys or Brooklyn or or toys and you changed the boys trying to come close. You coul figure out what the song was if you heard it. Okay, that being said, you can also tweet us and let us know who had a bigger gripe. Here's my gripe. Do you have my theme music? You want music? Yeah? So this is the theme music that runs into every podcast on the radio. Yeah. So it's on the Olvins to Rand Show. It's on the fifteen minute Morning Show. We have not played it on Walkers and Talkers yet. You're you're by the way your home for all things walking Dead, Fear of the Walking Dead, and Preacher. Okay, so here's my rant on, hold on, get it ready, but I don't need it yet. So a couple of years ago. I'm out in the city. I get a phone call from Scary and he basically wants to tell me what ha happened was It was a huge record label record exactive rooftop party with all kinds of crazy food and alcohol and whatever. And for whatever reason, I was drunk. He was drunk. But I was not invited to this and was claimed to be an oversight. But here's the call I got that I recorded when when he called me because I couldn't believe what he was saying to me. Go ahead, play the getting wasted at Elvis durand groups um party. Everybody, the whole world. Where are you from two to five this afternoon in Soho on the rooftop deck. We're hosting cocktails. You can find out yesterday it was right right, You don't remember when you walked in yesterday? Right before that? All right, it doesn't matter. You're you're missing out. You should you should have been here, man, I gotta go here here. So he called me like four or forty. I got two phone ver nice, Uh, you should probably get a different girlfriend. So he calls me at four forty and says, oh yeah, two to five, you should have been here, And I said, when did you find out? Meaning maybe he was in the in the studio and somebody said, hey, we're having a party, come over. He said, no, I found out yesterday. The scariest problem is now he he says it's because he's drunk. Drunk, but I wanted you there, and I'm like, ship, I didn't tell Brody about it. I might call him now what's scary? And you guys will have listening to podcast. You guys all have a friend like this who doesn't think about the ramifications of what they say. So Scary was very kind. He wanted me there. He's like, I wish you could. He's like, you gotta come. So he made me feel bad for not being invited to this party, even though he was trying to make it like a nice thing, because I wasn't invited, and because it was no I could get there even if he was going to invite me, because it was over in twenty minutes and I was a borrow, you know, across a bridge away. He told me anyway, and I was like, all right, well, it was kind of unfortunate you called me. But he's like, oh, I was drunk, man. I didn't mean it. Well, he does it often. Well he did it again today someone on are we could say who it is? Right, Okay, so Stephen, who's our our public relations uh person? I love Stephen great. Guy's great at booking guests, getting Elvis on TV shows and getting us in magazines and everything. That's his role on the show. Very important role on the show. Now I don't live close enough to Manhattan that I can get here in five minutes, right, but regardless, we're in the studio and Scary says he's talking to the people in the room and is, oh, Stephen, great barbecue at your house yesterday. He and he's telling everybody they ordered too much food. Stephen doesn't how to order food. So much food, so oh my go like there's like a hundred burgers and two dred hot dogs and so much beer. And I was just you could have had so many more people. There's an amazing party. Now, almost everyone else in the room was at this thing, or half of the people in the room. There a couple of people. Straight Nate was there. He was in the room at this time, and uh, and Elvis was busy. He was there. He didn't care because he's like whatever, I wasn't there, and he's scary, is going on about the food, and I'm sitting there and it's uncomfortable for me because I was not invited to this. Now, granted, Steven doesn't know my schedule and I didn't take it personally at that point, but it's typical scary to talk about this and he knows I wasn't there. All. The thing is this though, I just said, oh, we're not done yet, but go ahead, I said. All I said was brody, Yeah, dude, not not not not hold on. That's part one. Part one is you talked about this great party what I did over the weekend. It was yesterday. Second of all. Second of all, you went on about how there was way too much food and he could have fed another ten people thirty right, and he said it was like a hundred burgers. Thirty more people could have been. My story was he over shops. We had four people over. It was an impromptu barbecue that he had at his house, and a pool party and a cool party on a hot day. Right, Okay, fine, invited all my coworkers. That's fine. I'm not upset about that. But I wasn't saying it to show showcase like I did when I was drunk at the Right To Part. But then but then you showcased then as as uncomfortable as Stephen was because he was looking around like I could I believe it. Then then scary turns to me not thinking about anything that just happened in the past minute and a half two minutes of this party he's talking about. Says to me, Brodie, you gotta see Stephen's apartment. It's got a great view of the city. It's got he's got all this food, he's got this amazing kitchen. He's got a pool. If nobody was in it. You gotta see the view. I should have taken pictures have the view is you gotta see the apartment, bro You gotta see apartment because Stephen just moved into the apartment about a month and a half ago. And he's going on and on about this apartment. And I'm sitting there and Stephen is getting more uncomfortable because I didn't see the apartment because he didn't invite me to the apartment. You didn't wait till Stephen left and said, hey man, I'm sorry you were at the party. But he's gotta find how am I going to see the apartment unless Stephen invites me to the apartment? You don't want all I was trying to do, But you don't think. You don't think, like, huh, it's like, hey man, we had a great birthday party. You weren't invited. Was a generic statement. It was like, oh, no, generic is no? Generic? Is hey I saw a house? Generic? Is I saw a view? You should see the view from some hotel I was at. I was. I was so amazed and enamored by the view from Steven's house. You call me, you're a huge fan, and you're a huge fan of New York City view. Scott love you. It's like the you so knowing that that's like your most favorite thing in the world. All I want to say, I said, I thought of it. I'm like, Brodie should be here right now. So when I when Stephen was in the room today, I made the connection and I looked at you and I said, Brodie, you have to see the view from Steven's apartment. But that's a generic statement to me because it's like one of these days at some point you should see you should check out the to me, unless I break into his apartment, it's up to Stephen to invite me. But who's just saying that he's not gonna invite you. Well, but he hadn't and now you put him on the spot, and you made me feel awkward about not being there, and I'm surprised you didn't call me, And like Brodie, great view that insecure, it's not about insecure. I felt bad for Stephen, and I don't know why I felt me. You don't have to have I have a you. You don't have the view that he No, I don't don't feel bad for I still don't have the view. He's he's living large. He must make more money that we make. You should see, you should you should see he doesn't have any kids. My money goes goes through my checkbook and my my wallet like a vacuum is sucking it right out. You can play a full court basketball games department, and Stephen does very well. I don't care what he makes. He's very important to the show. I love him. My point, I love him. That's maybe why he invited you. Well, I told him afterwards. I said, dude, you should do this on a larger level, invite the whole like everyone and Brodie so again, it's not again before you tweet me, and so you shouldn't sell a grape. She didn't go. It's not about getting invited. It's not listening. He still think you people have gathered in your interns over and making them call their replacements is far worse. You know what what happened? They didn't invite me over either. That's fine, it's oh, it's totally again. Before you tweet me like Brody, get over to seal grapes. You wan't invited it. It's not about getting invited Steven's part. It's not Steven's job to invite every single person. And look, in any work environment, you've got your your core group of friends, you've got your your nucleus, your egg yoke, right, and then you've got people that are like, uh, occasional friends. Hey, we're all going out as a group. Let's hang out, and its people like you just see it work and you go, hey, how's it going, and you're going party plans with them? Okay, right, that's the kind of guy he is to you. Yeah, we're friendly. So if that's the case, then why did you feel bad. I don't feel bad for not being invited. I feel bad that in front of him, you said, Brody, you should have seen the view with Steven's house. One of these days, you gotta see the view. You're like saying you might see one of these days. Yes, if he invites me. But now, if he invites me, I'll think it's a pity invite because because now you made him feel how do I know it's a real because now I'm like to see the view because scary put me on the spot. So you just think, from now on, if he invited you to his house, no matter what time it is, what when it is, you, you are for certain that it's it's a pity invite. Yes, and I will stand on ceremony and not accept his invitation for like five minutes. Now it's just stand and then no, I'm going, I'm gonna just put it off, have to think about it. But then I'm going because it's got thirty burgers there with my name on it exactly. And the view I hear is that you didn't need unless it's got you know, like spinnag your blue cheese on it. That's another podcast. Yeah, So my point was so again, which was worse my interns who are just trying to help out for next semester and and set up interviews or scary making me and Stephen feel uncomfortable. Well, okay, tweet us at Yeah, this is gonna be tough. I can't tweet us at Brooklyn Boys. WTF. I gotta have that written Fronday. Now. Again, this is not necessarily what this podcast is going to be. It might be, it might be we don't know yet, which is like, WTF stands for? What the funk are we going to talk about? What we're going to talk? Right? But what did we learned today? We have a couple of songs to choose from. Yes, we're gonna bitch about each other. I'm gonna complain about your grammar. I apologize to the audience now, and all of our parents know what WTF stands for, and they're all cooler than we thought. Okay, that's fine. Now, which song do we leave with? We don't have a goodbye song from the other podcast. We should play both at the same time, both the same time, both of these new ones. All right, here's both songs leaving us today. I don't like that. I think what we can do initially is maybe we'll do the whiz Kalif for the start and the Beastie Boys to end, and then the next episode will switch them. I like that. And then I'll work on other songs. And then again, if you're listening to this and you you have the ability to create your own parodies or remixes or whatever that they all, or if you want to take drops from things we've said and chop and screw them and make a put a beat under it, that's fine, too awesome, all right, I liked I liked that. This is for the podcast. If again, if you're gonna take our drop tracks and you're gonna use our our spoken word into something, this is for this. Ready your mother's a whore? Okay, this way they can put that into yeah, um, which I gotta say something. Let's do it. Let's contribute to Wiz Khalifa his We're the Best podcast. We're the best podcast. Another one. You can take that, but that at the beginning, Jake Kalin No, not that we're not DJ Okay, we can say Jay Scary. I like that one. You can own that one, all right, thank you, thanks for allowing me to have Yeah, you can have it alright, alright, So just and it's once again. I wanted to reiterate, Um, I will be doing a second podcast with share Share knows. We love her, we miss her. She's in l A for a couple of weeks, and then we're going to uh have a second podcast that is going to be born. Okay, so one fair show is no more. I think we should host. I think we should take less week's podcast that we did and make that episode one so it's in this family because you need to hear it. It's the well we're not None of the old affair shows are gonna be the leating I know, but I'm thinking we should duplicate it and put it in our feed as like episode zero. That could be episode zero, Yeah, episode zero and the episode one. No, no no, just duplicated. Great, another one, I upload it again? One another one? Are you going? Thank you for listening and to the Brodiant Scary Podcast. Scary and Brodill be back next week right with the Brodiant Scary Podcast. Thank you, I'm Scary, Keith Brodie and um Brodiant Scary
