Speaker 1: He start data, they make a noise data episode. Se we're both out of both speakers this time. Yeah, but we're in this shitty studio and I don't want to have the problems we had last week and keeps prior. I hate this studio. This is the backup studio, ladies and gentlemen, and we're recording on a Friday. And yes, we have to address the problem about us coming out of left speaker right speaker, which is now fixed. So if you're going to seventy five, you're not gonna hear the problem that if you downloaded it when it was a problem. By the way, shout out to Henry and a couple of the people. They're like, oh, Henry, yeah, you know Henry. Ht oh Henry, oh h the levels with this and the sound was this, It was left and right in that studio. Blah blah blah. Just for the record, none of that has anything to do with the studio. That's true. Okay. When we record the audio into pro Tools, which is a digital programming system, I record it right in here. I'm already board, I know, and you have two choices. You can bounce it in Mono, which puts everything on one track, so everything's in all your ears. When you can bounce it in stereo, which separates left and right and scary, was like bouncing in stereo scary. You gotta bounce it mono in the studio, not bouncing in stereo only because I'm not used to working in this studio. In the other studio, it's because the studio is bad, different version, and in this studio when you bounce in stereo, it bounces left right, so we I didn't know that right and because I recorded us on separate tracks to make it easier. If this has to be an edit. There were a couple of people that emailed and comments straight up. They said that it sounded like more realistic because you guys were in a room with me. One of you were sitting on one side of me and one of you sitting which totally makes sense. The problem is we found out a lot of people who listen to this podcast listen with one ear pod, like they're at work solutions with one earbud like earbud right so air pod or Galaxy bud. So if you, if you like, want to have the phone by one ear like if you're working in the other pod in the other ear or whatever. So some people like I can't hear scary and some people like I can't hear brody because you only picked up one air pod, right, you only put one microphone headphone in your in your ear, and so you only heard one of us. Because that was true. But then we fixed it. People like no, I like it. Batter with the stereo. Yeah, we can't please everybody. I mean we we can't post both versions every week. Oh, somebody wants stereo separation. Well, people know like in other words, post it split and post it not split, and the one you like, well, can we do separate advertisers? For that is the thing. If people listen to making up a number twenty thousand of one way and twenty the other way, that's the same as forty of one way, unless you listen to both, in which case we get double listenership. Now let me ask you this. If you were only listening with one air pod and you heard commercials go by, do we get to charge the people half the price for the commercial? Right? No, because the commercial commercials were on both tracks. However, if you listened or still have a copy of the version with only me in one channel, and only scaring the others. Listen to it eat both ways in one year only me and and one way only scary, and see if you like one way better than the other. Maybe you enjoy like scary yelling at me and I can't say he's wrong because I'm not on that track. That's right. You have that option. Now you're like, I like brody, but I prefer scary. Here's your chance to listen and just scary in the left ear phone. But this is obviously you're hearing this now in both So there you go. I'm happy about that. Uh, you know, I'm not happy about It's Friday and we're recording this late. It's Friday. I'm in love. No, No, that's different songs because I'm Friday. Broody is sick. I'll handle the parodies of the Cure right. It's the Cure right, very good? Yeah? Uh, because I actually my daughter and I listen to uh Cure on I Heart right video on our car ride home yesterday. Because she is she likes I'll tell you who she likes. I can't play a clip of it. Um, but she is into this band five Finger Death Punch No, and they sound they sound like um I'll tell you who she's into. Now, my this is my daughter who gave us the that hip hop song that I played few guys like episode fifteen or whatever that you everybody loved it, like, oh my god. So right now my daughters listening to and Dot Dot Dot and the Rain by John Mabbs. I think that's what it's called. Where you get that from? Um? I think she just flies around the heart radio app and finds new music and her friends share playlists with her, and you know, uh, and she found it and she liked it and so but if you hear it, I could probably I could play five seconds. Let me can play five seconds, but no more than that, or we'll get to that's very dark, right, It's like what the Rain calmed down? But it sounds like eighties depeche Mode. It really does. It's depeche Mode and the Cure and oh that actually is it? Friday I'm in love? Is is the Cure depech Of course it's the Cure Secure. Yeah, I'm pretty sure. I'm very sure that. Okay, So anyway that we've been listening to that kind of music, because she's listening to new music that sounds like that that eighties dark right, So I got to see the peche Mode in concert Violator Violator. When Violator came out, that album was everything that had that had um policy of truth, that had personal Jesus and the title track that that sound you keep hearing scary thinking, No, no, what song is that? I don't know? Oh I don't wanted. Yeah, that one very necessary. Only do so that that thank your lucky stars. That wasn't in stereo left and right? Yeah, I will tell you that that. Oh my god, I'm getting a call from another fucking robot call because you've been a couple of times. Right. That sound is not the studio. Did you just get a robot call? I'm getting one right now? Oh my god? Did you you you? We can play the clip right. Um, I'll tell you what John Oliver did. Let me let me answer account services with important changes to your account bullshit, congratulations on your excellent payment history. Hey guess what, I don't know what the Visa master Card you're an m X guy. By the way, if you hear scared you in a commercial for Visa or master Card the next six months, that's bulls on them. And not only that, when they called me with that robot call. It says, welcome, Your IBM computer has viruses on it and you must press five and give your Social Security number. Now, guess what, I don't have an IBM. I gotta mac. Yeah, I have, I have PCs. Don't have an IBM NC. But seriously so, John Oliver did a great bit this weekend on last week Tonight about robot calling whole story hilarious. And then what he did was he had he set up a computer program that will call the five heads of the FCC who regulate the rules for that, and give them an annoying message every ninety minutes. This was a brilliant billion John Oliver does that every few episodes. He'll go, well, guess what we've done. He's like, we're running commercials now during that show, and like we took out an ad in that country to run a commercial against the president. Whatever. Whatever the story is, he'll come up with a clever punch line. So in this case, he's so fed up with robot calls, he calls to call the FCC idiots who are allowing robotcalls because they can't I think the rule is they can't sell you something, but they can offer you products. There's there's a rule is he'll explains it in the show. What the rule is? Don't tweet me. I don't you know what? Okay, so uh, I gotta call the reason why I'm mad. I got called today and yesterday from zero one one, which is I guess of the country code? Right? Country code eleven from Belarus. Oh my god, my favorite vampire. That's Bell Legosi. Okay, and she's lucky. I got he's dead. He's dead. Wow, you made a seven year old reference and got it wrong. No, it was actually a fifteen year reference to a rave song that you didn't pick up on. Well, okay, but it's named after the actor the original Obvi. Not obvious said she everybody heard it wrong. Okay. We don't have a jingle that says that I probably should. Anyway, Belarus called me. Now, I don't know anybody in Belarus unless they want to they Belarus sounds like as a nice Italian restaurante, by the way, restaurant. I feel like, is it possible Belarus is calling me with with hacked email accounts from the from Mickey Leaks? I don't know, but now my mouth is salivating because I feel like they make great chicken palm. But okay, so belaruss Belarus called. So I don't want to answer the phone because I have a feeling like if I accept the charges or something that I have to pay for something. Plus what they said on this program on John Oliver, if you answer the phone, they know you have a live number and then they will sell it to other scammers. So if you don't answer the phone, they move on. So two days in a row Belarus has called me. I'll just ignore it for the next couple of days. Now, now I got you. Sons of bitches have family members in Belarus. Uh, don't have them call me. Please, don't try to prank. Okay, this doesn't even make sense because there's the digits are all off. I got a call from plus one three five five six seven three two seven five oh four two. What the hell even is that plus plus one three five five So the area the country hold is probably three five is my guests or depending on I don't know. There's way too many digits in this thing. Anyway, I didn't answer that call. That wouldn't missed. Sorry. Yeah, so I'm not answering the Belarus call, and my favorite is now I have Belarus has called you not with us and let us know at David Brody at Scary Jones and yeah, by the way, at Brooklyn Boys. Wtf True Caller great app. You get True Caller and this is not a sponsor, that's not not paying me, No, they should be. They just sponsored the podcast. If you get True Caller, they will point out your spam and it literally will show up as robo caller on your on your phone, your call I D But the problem is if the robot caller is spoofing somebody else's number, then it's not Then you're blocking someone who might be a real you know, then they've out smart of this system. Um, should we talk about the the email problem I told you about with the lettering? Okay, so the Breakfast Club. The Breakfast Club is a great morning show that's in our building here at I Heeart Radio, New York. Breakfast Club is Charlemagne and DJ Envy and Angela Ye. They have blown up nationwide. They've been on cable news, they have two of them, have MTV show six and Park Uh Guy Code. They're everywhere. Charlemagne the God blown up a TV and the nice nice people down the hall like him, We're not they're they're they're huge. So the Breakfast Club right now, as I explained on Walkers and Talkers earlier with my co host Jamie on episode I want to say one thirty nine this debate, but I feel like you and I will go at it a little more and our listeners will really have an opinion on this Elva Strand Morning Show. The Elba stra In Morning Show in emails is abbreviated as E d M S, d M S. They dropped the but anyway, it's E d MS Morning Show, right, we dropped the and Elva straight the first letter of every word, right, basically right right, right, Still, I don't see a problem. There's a problem here in the building with upper management and the breakfast club. That's act. How would you abbreviate the breakfast club, TBC, the breakfast club or just BC. Okay, there's a couple of people in management that keep referring to them in emails that the producer from the Breakfast Club is on because we're working on some things together. So I see these emails and they keep writing, so I want to run this by E D M S and TBC no, no no, no, no, no, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. BFC. Breakfast What is is fast? One word? A word like breakfast club BF. That's what I think this person thinks. I think they're saying breakfast club. Now, breakfast is actually a condensed way of saying, it's the breakfast. You're breaking your fast room overnight. You didn't fast it all night and you but it's one word. But it's one word, so it would be it would be it would be the breakfast club TBC. But the this person in particular keeps writing BFC. And I said to Jae to Jamie, my co host on that on the other podcast, I think it's those people that say Valentine's Day. No, it's those people and you don't want to correct them, but right, no, it's also the same people that that Odell Beckham got traded to the Browns said O D B instead of O B J. Yep, like you brody, Okay, I will explain that you fell into your own track on that one. You know, I'm sick, you know my head, I'm on medication and I wasn't thinking straight. I did say he gave me a shit eating grin just there and you couldn't see that because I was hoping there was one percent. You didn't weren't referring to me. In my explaining to Elvis about the trades, I was prepping him for the break to understand what was going on. I said, the headlines in the paper are all about O d B. I know it's now, but you the state you fell into the same No no, no, no, no, no no no. I did not fall into the ohad, that's how you got that. You how you came up with od That's not how I came with O dB. I kime with o dB because we're in a radio station and musically, I was thinking of the initials as od B. Weather went by the way it should be because it's Odell Beckham Jr. Right, it should be oh b J because that sounds hot. It does. But I didn't say it because I think O'Dell is two words. That's not why I said it. I just brain farted because I'm sick, and that's why we're doing the podcast. So couldn't you with the upper management person over and over again in multiple emails, The point is do you correct him? So like when somebody makes a mistake in front of Elvis, right like if like if if somebody says to Elvis a caller like, oh yeah, my ven number, he'll go back, go yeah, the vin like, he'll say it back without saying they were wrong. He'll repeat it back correctly. Right. I don't want to write back in an email like oh, I'm all about that, And definitely I think TBC would agree because he won't know what TBC is because he says BFC Breakfast Club. Well, why don't we call him in here right now? Do not want to do that. I'm not going to do that. He's not going to do that. Is he our boss? He's someone in upper management that that has a position. Was one of our engineers? No, no, no, no no no. It's somebody that we deal with on a multi station level. And I'm not going to point it out, but I feel like somebody should other than me. So do you want to do that? What? What are you looking at me for? I don't know you're the one wants to talk about I'm not even on that at an email. Yeah, well, but I'm gonna copy you to it. I'm gonna scary. What are your thought? You know I should do? I should copy you and go, he's scary. What are your thoughts on BFC? Then you can write back what does BFC stand for? And that person can write back fast Club and you can write back, oh, I thought that's TVC though, Breakfast Club. That's a great way of doing it. Yeah, but I don't know how you don't want Okay, Well that's that's my that's my my my at work spiel right now is I don't know how to deal with that because every time see it, what would you do? Would you call him out? We would you say, hey man, it's privately like what would you do? Elvis in the email like an Elvis Rougin and go oh if you oh yeah, TBC of course the Breakfast Club would be into that. I think the TBC would definitely be into that. Well, not the tv C, not the TBC, just TC. I don't want to the TBC would be into that. Yeah, you want to leave it alone. I let this guy because I feel like he might go, hey man, thank you. I was that's embarrassing. I appreciate you telling me. He might appreciate you telling me like he might maybe he might. And now, by the way, uh, from a political standpoint, because you know me with the grammar police. I'm not going to get into politics because we don't really talk politics here. I'm not a fan, not a fan of the poy. I am a fan of the politics. I hate politics, I know, and I love him, the least political person you'll ever meet, about the least political person. But you're up there, what are you searching for? You look at this in the computer, at the controls. If you could tell, you can't tell smooth as ship today. So here's so whatever political party you're into, or whatever type of politician you're into, you you may have rules in your mind, like, oh, you know what, I found out they did drugs, they're out. Or I found out that they were anti women in the seventies and they're out. So I'm I'm watching a particular person who's running for president in the past week. I'm not gonna get into it. Obviously, they're Democratus is only one Republican at this point who might be running for presidents so far um And in their rally twice they said I could care less about something, we know it. I couldn't care less, right, so that person I can't vote for them. They could be the best candidate. I can't vote for them. I can't have it. I can't vote for someone to be in the White House that says I could care less, because they don't mean that. And if I can't trust him with English language, I can't trust him with our government and our taxes to you know, the way that you hire interns and how you just qualify, not hire the best interns, great interns, a grammatical tulous interns. You discount people don't. I don't account what we're talking about. I feel like, if you should run for the highest office and represent our country, I don't want you flying to Japan. And the translator translates I could care less, and the Japanese president says, oh, I think he means I couldn't care less. So he's out. That particular candidate is out. Yes, it's a heat. All right, there you go. That's it. That's those are my spiels. That that and the breakfast club. All right. I got plenty of plenty of stuff, a lot of stuff. But last week I read a list. I got a longer list of last week. We're just getting started. The reason I played the Neil Patrick Harris clip is that you were at a party that Neil Patrick Harris was at. Yes, I was, and we'll talk about that coming up next, all right, so don't keep us in suspense. You went to a great party. Now, this isn't one of those parties I wasn't invited to. I was, but I'm sick. That was killing me that I couldn't go to this party. And I thought, you know what, it was cookies for kids cancer and Elvis got a table for everybody for this charity event, great cause, and there was chefs cooking and everything. I really wanted to go, but I thought chefs and their staffs with full stoves and ovens line the perimeter of this huge room that held a people, not but not like uh not like the Japanese Uh what do you call it when you go into cooking walk No, no Japanese with the onion and the beause you don't like about perimeter of the room, the entire room. Right before you tell about the party, I thought I'd be like, all right, you can get some food. I'm gonna miss out on like ill charity thing. This was mind blowing. What I missed on social media was killing me. So tell us a little bit. You had a little fomo because you stayed. No, I did not stay that you stayed at home, nothing wrong with that, but no, I stayed straight home. But that being said, I was blown away by what went onto this event. So so yeah, so how did you dress? Because it was business casual and a bunch of people asked if you went Brooklyn Industrial, Brooklyn Chic, Brooklyn Industrial. Yeah. No, Um, I actually did a little Brooklyn Industrial. I did a little black jeans with black and white sneakers on the bottom and on the top. I had a button down shirt with a blazer on, black and white sneakers on the bottom of what your feet on my feet? My my my lower half was Brooklyn Industrial. The sneakers they were black and white, okay, he said black and white on the bottom. I think black and white, okay, with black jeans and that that was And then I was there photographic evidence still online. I had buttoned down shirt tucked in with a belt and a blazer over that. That was Brooklyn Industrial for Sachi blazer? Was it Armani blazer? I don't know if it was, Yeah, but it was, but it was it was Empoio armany of course it was. It wasn't so where's the casual? Wasn't no, it wasn't the no, the emporio Chi. I know, move on, move on. I don't know which the cheaper one is. I can't afford you the one of them. It was a cheaper ARMANI okay, ARMANI exchange with nothing wrong with it. I'm in calls exchange. So I go back and echange. I just well, I just im just okay for it. By call is not a sponsor. So I did feel lesser, like a lesser human in this room. Uh, you feel like you're doing okay until you walk into a room of rich aristocrats where, by the way, there's a shortage of poor aristocrats right now. The way that they listened to. Neil Patrick was there, Neil Patrick Harris and Paul Rudd was there. You guys all got pictures with Paul Rodd. How great is that? He's at man, he's SE's boyfriend, he's in clueless, he's in everything, hasn't aged a bit and he's uh he's got that what's the new one he's got coming out? Well, he's in the right anyway, He's all over the place. But the thing is is um so so you get to sit down and eat dinner, and you get you didn't get cooked by a chef okay in the room, right, No, one of the chefs in the room. They do twenty people each. So we had a wonderful chef by the name of Peter Botros okay from a restaurant on Staten Island called the Stone Stone Clove Lakes. Oh my god, I'm butchering the name. Whatever it was, it was good, it was, Oh my god. And so this guy cooked for our twenty people and got to thank Elvis. Props to Elvis for putting this all together and getting us all in because I wouldn't. I don't even know how much a ticket would have been if I would have had to pay on my own. But and I think I think you guys all donated individually. I think I know Greg t we all did the ironic part, not a coincidence, true irony, And I've talked about this on the air. It's not a secret or anything. You guys all went to support to raise money for childhood research for childhood cancer. Yes, I'm the only one on the show who actually had childhood cancer. And I wasn't there, which is doubly y and no one would think like I didn't want to go. I really wanted to go to this event. So I feel tired. I'll be there next year. If you know, Elvis is the true philanthropist. Uh, he just he's super generous. He got a soul in He's been on a couple of lots. He want a couple of Yeah, he and and the thing about cookies cancer and chefster kid cancer. And I know what will move on after this is that it is one of those organizations where the highest percentage possible goes all goes directly. They do, they do right, whereas some charities and organizations it's a lower percentage of the of a dollar. It's like ninety eight cents on the dollar. But I mean, it's ridiculous, which is why Elvis loves it so much and why in turn, we all love it. If I can, you'll be there next one. Actually, if I could just add one thing real quick, Um, if you guys are interested or whatever, I don't want to feel the thousand tweets about what kind of cancer? What hell? That's personal to me. I'm sharing that for the story and uh that's you know whatever. I just you know, don't start hitting me up with a lot of questions. It's a personal part in my life that I share in bits and pieces. So you know, if when you were a kid, yeah I was. I was two years old until I was nine seven years I had to deal with it, and thanks to research, it's much better what I had. The survival rate is much better when I was a kid, and now it's like survival rate. So God bless yeah, God bless research. Really, uh, and the fact that my generation paved the way, uh mistakes were made or whatever back in the day, or things they learned from the whatever. It's all great. But anybody I want to get like, oh, what do you go? It's not like a Twitter thing. Well, I'm gonna tweet out what Please don't anyway, but this is this is a great event. So what was it? So why do you want me to bring it up other than no? No? Well, first of a lot of people were asking, like dm ng me saying what did you wear? Are you wearing Brooklyn? And were you not there? Plus if you listen to the Brooken Boys podcast, chances are you follow scary on social media you probably saw all the things kept this one person I gotta talk about this guy. Okay. Also, I think we should talk about the people you don't follow on Instagram. We're talking about that as well. Yeah, you can settle that once and for all with people. Who's the one person who want followed? So I'm not even not unfollowed. I just I'm more perplexed than anything else. I'm not even gonna give the person's name. I don't even know what this is about. So so yeah, I'm just going right in for it. First of all. Yeah, so they emailed us at the Brooklyn Boys podcast at gmail dot com, which you can email us as well. Is it mail time? Is it mail time? Just a couple Yeah, I got a couple of mail pieces of mail for it? All right, do I have to start with this one? You talk that sounds like it's mail time. Welcome, you've got mail? Oh, by the way, that guy the welcome You've got mail guy? Uh? He was. There was something on YouTube with him recently with he did the voice for somebody at an airport if you google. Yeah, he's a big he's still a big voice about that people out. He's not a voiceover guy. Really, it's just a regular guy. His wife works for a O L in Washington d C. I think, and she's like, oh, my husband will do it. And she went to her husband say that, and he's that guy. Now yeah, if you still use a well, then you know what that guy is. Yeah. Um, I got an email from so this dude right, Uh, yeah, hey Brody and Scary already. Yeah. I've been listening to The Elvestrand Morning since I was in high school and now listening to your Brooklyn Boys podcast in order, and I'm all caught up today. This morning, March, I received a notification on my phone about a follow request on my Instagram account since I keep my account private. Uh. The following request was from Scary. This was surprising to me since I do not follow is Scary, but I do follow other members of the Morning Show former and present, including David Brodie. Nothing against you, Scary, since I believe you are a very nice guy with your own imperfections. Thank you for the follow, and maybe soon there will be a day that I will follow you back. Lastly, keep up the good work since it always makes my day to listen to a new episode, and I'm looking forward to Brodie's new book. Okay, yes, I love to Greg t but no to the Jersey Kid. So this person Phil felt the need to write to us and UH say, okay, you got it, wasn't you though? It was? It was that follow me? Did you give him a follow request? Well? Okay, and I've explained this on the Big Show, and I do want to explain it here because people ask me follow you, right, So so sometimes you know, under the suggestions and the discover new people, I actually poke around there and I don't know who does you saw he was a follower of us And you can turn up the music, the mail bed whatever. Um. But so the by the way, this is a gender non specific bed, the mail bed, the email. I see what you did there. I'm sick mened. So I pretty much did he accept your friendship? Yeah, he accepted me, but he didn't follow me back. But that's not how it works, you know. He talked about that. Well that's where when I was going to go with this. Um, I wasn't expecting a follow back from him. I think this, I know, We'll tell you this though. You know, I looked at his followers of who he was talking about. He follows everybody on our show, from like all sixteen members of the Morning Show and all of our previous members of the Morning. I have to bring up a point about that. Okay, it but he doesn't follow me and I followed him, Okay, and I have to be honest. Uh, it's kind of questionable why he I was the only person. It was a little suspicious why I was the only person I've seen wasn't he wasn't following. I've seen that sometimes, I like, I'll see people tweet at a bunch of us, or I'll see like and then I'll follow on you right, or I'll look at the Sometimes I'll get in the Elvis store and show account and I'll see somebody tweeting. They don't tweet me like they follow everyone but me, and then I and then I realized, I wonder if they didn't they didn't follow me ever, or they didn't they unfollowed me. But in this case, this guy is a is a fan of the Brooklyn Boys podcast. You'd think you'd think you'd think that he'd be at that he'd be following both of them. First of all, so you know who you are. I love that you follow me, thank you, yes, and that you're gonna buy Brodie's book. But by the way, we're like a year away, and I'm not and I'm not, I'm not but hurt that you don't follow me. I'm just curious as to why you would love our podcast so much, which is such a niche thing, which is, you know, we're kind of an extension of the Morning Show, but yet you don't follow me whatever. But I followed him now, okay, and that's fine, but but yes, to get to your point, Brodie, you don't follow people to follow expecting a follow back follow follow follow four, follow team, follow back twelve. But it's not. And it gets me into a conversation that I had. You know, I do follow a lot of people and then unfollow them because I Instagram, and I'll tell this here on this podcast, and I'll this is the last. I'll put it to bed after this. Hundred is the maximum amount of people you can follow on Instagram. So I like to see a variety of people. So I follow and I unfollow, I'll follow you, I put you in and out of rotation because there's no that we have millions of listeners. I totally get that, and I want to and I want to be able to see all of them now on Twitter. But you've told this story and not on this podcast. I told it on the right. But every time I hear you tell the story on air off air, you give the impression that you have you follow seventy four hundred and ninety people, and you have that ten slots left. No, no, no, because it's they only allow you to follow a hundred a day and then they max you out. There's limits. That's how many times you could. You can't understand that face your owns Instagram, I know. And by the way, I was talking to to someone and uh, well, and they said, oh, my boy my boy friend doesn't use Facebook because he feels like they're trying to steal his information. He only uses Instagram. And my response was, you know it's the same company, right right, exactly if they want to steal your you know, it's like all of a sudden, I have ads for redoing my kitchen on my Instagram when I was talking at home about redoing my kitchen, but never online, and I never googled how to redo my kitchen. So Instagram is some spying ship too, of course they are. So you want to see the girls in the bikinis, you gonna lose your well even Facebook has a maximum of five thousand friends you could have, so I only hit the max. By by the way, I only have Facebook for people I actually know, my friends and fam So, like, if you're friending me or saying a direct message on Facebook, please keep it to Twitter and Instagram. I'm very accessible. So Twitter, you can follow unlimited people and I will follow you unlimited. I don't care whatever. But but they get mad at you, but they're tagging Elvis now bitching about you. I saw that, right, So if you want if I follow you, it's just because I'm trying to let other people into the curs and that's all I want to do, is I want to But but that doesn't mean that you you followed me, and now you could you should unfollowed me because I unfollowed you, Like that's stupid, silly for me to want this guy to follow me back. I don't care. I was just you. You piqued my curiosity. I followed you for a couple of days. I'm going to unfollow you the way I didn't follow everybody else because I just there's a lot going on there, right, So two things, as far as social media, I want to add to that the following, the followback thing. Right. We've talked about this. If you follow someone, it's because you genuinely want to content. That doesn't mean they're obligated to like what you post. Correct. Okay, uh, two more things I said through the two and N three. Um, if someone posts something right and you want to comment about something, someone's someone related but not in the an example, if Elvis posts something about the Morning Show and then you want to say, oh, you know what, David Brodie would get a kick out of that, right, or Brodie, did you see this? Copy Brody? If you don't know, if you don't say on on Instagram right or Twitter, but mostly on Instagram, if you don't write at David Brody, did you see this? Or what do you think of that? If you just write at like you just write, hey Brodie, did you see this? I'm not gonna get a notification if you write oh my god, Danielle, and how would you possibly find find it? Right? You have to tag me like like like they were. Elvis, Danielle and Gandhi were at the I Heart Radio Music Awards last night and they had a bunch of pictures up that Elvis would post elvistra In Morning Show and people would write, Danielle, I love your dress. Well, if it's at the elvistre In Morning Show account, Danielle is not going to go look at that account for the seven comments on a picture looking for your comments. Correct. But if you take it hey at daniel or at Radio Daniellman or whatever her instagram is, then she'll get an alert and she'll see it. I'm only telling you this because you want her to see it, which is why you wrote it, and she is, as someone who appreciates a compliment, would like to see it. But if you don't write at younger stay okay, his mother thing. If you work at a company, right, or your friend works at a company, right, Let's say your friend works for IBM, right, and uh, he loses his job at IBM, doesn't work there anymore, or he leaves on his own works somewhere else. And then you have another friend that IBM and you see that they went on a company trip to Hawaii. Right, would you and they put up a picture, Hey, we're in Hawaii. Would you tag the former employee and say, oh, I wish you were on that trip to Hawaii with the guys, you don't work anymore. Why would you do that? People keep doing this with all radio shows or and and former co workers, And I don't know how to explain to you how that works. But this is a regular work, righte Like, oh, why don't you have ex employee come back and do a show? Would you invite people that used to work at your restaurant? Hey, why don't you come back and work the grill one day? Doesn't work that way? So I find it weird and uncomfortable when they start copying in on social media. No, not that. It's like when when people older people and right in front of them, right, and you go out, I really miss like Joe, Like I really miss at Joe And you're like, why are you reminding Joe that Joe is not at this event? Like if and and truthfully, why do we want to know you missed Joe? Because we don't have a decision. Joe left. Joe decided to leave, right, We can't bring back Joe. It isn't up to us. Joe left right, It's not like like his own free willingness. Right. If you like a baseball team and you want them to reacquire somebody that's a possibility. Hey, trade for that guy gets get him back here, right, because you get to say when when the Mets or the Yankees and the Dodgers, when they want to make a trade for the guy we want to bring back Joe. Hey, we're gonna give you our picture. We want Joe back. Joe doesn't have anything a matter unless there's no trade clothes, he's back. But in radio doesn't work that way. Although our listeners don't realize it, you're making it awkward for the people that currently work here when you say stuff like I really miss Joe. Well, Mike and Steve still work here. Steve's the new guy, and maybe it doesn't want to be constantly reminded how much you miss Joe when there's nothing we can do about it, right, A thousand percent. But you make it worse when you when you put Joe now, Joe gets an alert and like, oh god, I left that job. Why am I getting alerts? I I appreciate the compliment, but let Steve enjoy his life. I don't work there anymore, right, I just feel like it's awkward, you know, A thousand percent. I'm you know why I bring this up because somebody pointed it out. Somebody, some uh Instagram person uh pointed out that said, hey, you're causing an awkward moment. And I saw that and I went, you know what, that's a valid point I'm bringing up on the podcast. I'm glad you outset it because I can't say it. I can't go on and go, hey, man, you're making an awkward moment because now I'm pointing out to Joe that I think it's an awkward moment, to Mike and Steve or whatever I said before, and everyone's awkward. Don't don't bring other people into it. And then somebody tweeted yesterday and they're like, oh about the Hidy Music Awards, And they tweeted everyone on the show, except they put Joe in the tweet and left Steve out. Steve's here, Joe's down here. Why are you tweeting Joe? Listen? We love Joe. Joe is a good guy. But Joe has a life and moved on. Don't keep reminding Joe they don't work here. And you should know they don't work here. You're a fan. And if you don't want to Steven, you don't love Steve as much as Joe. That's your prerogative, but putting Joe in the tweet is just hurtful to people. It doesn't make you look old school. I'm going old school. I'm putting Joe in the tweet. That's how we're I'll throwback Thursday, shout out to Joe. Hey tweeted Joe privately, have a conversation with Joe. But I'm explaining to you that it's awkward. So someday, if I don't work here anymore, don't tag me and post like a you know, unless like they fired me, in which case absolutely constantly say how much you miss at David Brody. Right, that's all I'm saying. I'm just saying, you don't realize that's far removed from all of it. Right, I've done that before. I put old school pictures in the Morning show up. Absolutely, I've tagged old school people and nobody does anything to be hurtful. I'm just saying it does create awkward moments, and obviously someone else realized it because they made that comment. I'm like, you know what, I'm gonna bring that up this great point anyway. Anyway, you know our our Facebook page, we have one of those at the Brooklyn Boys. We don't. Yes we do. We're a fan page, yes we do. Yeah, but what's on our page? We don't? Yes we do. At the program run it, I don't run it? Well, I mean it runs itself. Yeah, right, which means it's all but dead. So we got a Facebook note Efron Lopez wrote that what did you say? I'm sorry? I thought you said Lopez and that wasn't a joke. I thought you said that. I'm sorry. I wanted to say that they barely started listening to the podcast about three weeks ago, and they're already on episode Do you mean they started listening barely three weeks ago? They barely started listening. I'm reading verbatim. I barely started listening to the podcast. That says to me that they listened for five minutes, they leave meaning barely meaning they recently. I was three weeks ago, already on episode twenty six. I'm the type of person that loves to wait, and Ben shows aage them all right, so it sounds like they were waiting for us to get up there in numbers. I'm gonna wait until I get to seventy three and go for it. Well, that's what he did I'm a I'm a route or a route I'm a route driver. I love that and always on the road listening to you guys. I hope to catch up soon. Thanks for helping me, Mr Lopez, that's e J. But it's Effron Lopez. They're having the same problem as the freaking o dB thing. And then it's from e J. But it's from Efron Lopez. It's from e l Okay but ja maybe his nickname is EJ. Do you want to help solve a free dessert problem? They Tyler Poulos wants your help. Maybe you could. Again, this is more of an assistance question than an email. But but I don't care. If you say my name, you could scream that ship. I'm Tyler Poulos. I'm from Elizabethtown, t A. My name's Tyler Pullos, Elizabethtown, p A. You guys are fucking awesome. Started at zero and now I'm on number fifty seven. Hey, Brody, I need his help bad free. Uh feel free to call me. Oh no, we're not gonna call you because it's already too late. We're reading it. My daughter's got tablets for Christmas and they got a voucher for a free case so we went online and each picked out a case. They said it would be here in seven to fourteen business days. Three weeks go by. Emailed them, Not they have not arrived. They said they have a huge backup and they were being sent from Germany and got stuck in customs because of the government shutdown. Gave him the benefit of the doubt. Two weeks went by, nothing, two and a half months. One of them three weeks ago that they promised me they said arrived, The second one by the end of the week. Never happened, taken forever here. Second one says it's still sitting in Brooklyn, New York. When I track it, brody, what do I do next? I already made a comment in one of the emails about them sending me a phone case to make up for all the troubles and all the bullshit I had to go through, and they just brushed it over. They said, wait till the end of the week like we and you'll get your shipment like I said. Not, it has not come. Three different times. This person has been waiting months, three months. Now. What do I do? Please excuse my grammar, grammar spelled wrong. Whatever the value is on the case, they what do they buy the front tablets table Christmas? I'm supposed to get free case the tablet people owe you of either of financial refund so you can buy the cases here in America that you want a fit, go buy them on eBay if you want, after they give you the fifty bucks and buy them for ten on eBay. But uh, you don't want the cases. You want you want the value of the cases, either a partial refund on your tablets so you can go buy them, or you want some American in house cases. But you've waited. Uh, your your tablets have gotten scratched without the cases. That's damage. They probably owe you a new one somewhere. Oh yeah, milk this ship for all it's worth. They owe you the value of the cases plus anywhere and tear financially. Do you feel happened to the tablets because there's no cases and the aggravation has got to be worth at least fifteen bucks and get get five extra bucks because now you're taken up our time, which we don't care about, but get it anyway. So Taylor mcgorrick, Now right, um, short story long, that's actually not that long. My girlfriend bought our dogs some specially made treat at a local dog bakery. The online price was eight dollars. We came in to pick him up a day later and the lady said it's going to be seventeen dollars from eight, which, of course I said, how can that be? Here's her excuse ready, Sorry, that website is very old and we don't know how to change it. Who has a working website that is used on a daily basis to play his orders and can't change things on it? So, like the schmuck I am, I decided, what the funk I'm paying for it now. I'm asking to have a little fun with this anyway. Uh that's yeah, that's the end of the email. That Wow, they fucking So they went online as advertised eight dollars and they said, it's sorry, we can't change it. That's an old site, give me seventeen, and he paid it. Bullshit. My gutter cleaning company did the same ship to me. They have a coupon page on their website. You click on a coupon page, it says seventy five dollars go to cleaning with this coupon. So I call up and I said, you know, seventy five dollars because normally it's ninety. Oh, yeah, we can honor that. That's old. I said, there's no expiration date on it. Yeah, that we're not honoring that. It's your website. Yeah, we can't hontor that. Guess what. They're no longer my gutter cleaning company said you didn't win on that one. Well I did in the sense that I said, I don't go himsel I said, you're gonna cost yourself a customer. This guy, no, no, no, no, no, do not do that. He's he should have walked out, walk out by bye bye. Got a cleaning company by Doggie tweet local bakery. Speaking of places trying to screw us, I want to read a tweet I got from uh Jennifer Duke j Duke uh one or two seven. So we went back. Oh so she was at a fast food place and we went back in line five minutes. Oh so they they went to the drive through and they told her to pull up. So they pulled around and got back online, got back to the window again and they said pull forward again, and it was the same lady from last time. She said no, And so the woman argued with her and she said once again. I said no, I said I U. I won, but got a window slammed in my face. Hashtag will not pull forwards, pull forward, so to go not pull forward? But yeah, okay, so the resisted the slam slam the fast food window on her, and they gave her the food. She's like, here's your food because she did it twice. Well, now they're giving out beepers. Somebody showed me a picture for they're saying, so now to get around at They're like, so they're giving beepers at the drive through window with the fucking things. To stop. It's gonna stop. Stop going to drive to was America. Stop it until they figure out the problem. Beepers are only from when you're sitting and waiting for a table at Applebe's on a Saturday night. That's when they give you the beeper that goes off to sit and wait for your car to be ready. Like, what what does one point of going through a drive through? We got it. Someone showed me the picture they they I couldn't believe when I opened the picture that look at this scary you believe the balls on these motherfucker's I can't. I don't understand why can't they get the food out? Why can't they just do what their job is? What are you searching for? Searching? Stop doing that? You're looking for something? All right now, well I'll let me continue. Samantha Sheltz rights you Fox, you uh just finished the most recent episode and now I've got nothing to listen to. And yes I started at zero. Listen to you both argue and rant makes my day. Keep doing what you're doing. That's from Samantha. Samantha. First time emailer wants to know if we can ever get two episodes in a week. What are you thinking, Brodie? What's the answer to that? We barely have time for the one. I would love to give more, but then we gotta make him shorter like this is right now, it's one with our schedules. It's got to be one I'd love to give the people to, as would I, But right now it's one. Okay, we'll try what we'll see what we can do. Got more, That's all I got for you right now. All you want to someone use jokes? What do you want to do? We can do can use jokes in a minute. I kind of wanted to talk about, you know what, I have a parody. Yeah, parody can play. Uh, you know Patrick's parody is at work. Welcome on this show. Thank you, even though Elvis durand you have to without see back in the day when I got hired back in the require, you were actually hiring parody day boom boom boom boom boom everything every dy every day boom. People loved me. People love the parodies. Maybe people have moved on from parody. Apparently parodies have gone the way of the flip phone and dungarees, you know, denim jeans and oj with the giants. Yeah, and so it's sort of a lost now. There are some people still appreciate a good weird al parody or you know, it's a lost art. People call them remixes now, even though it's technically a parody or a spoof or rewrite. And so if if it really hits home, like the cow heart jingle I wrote about need, then we'll play it. But it's as like a fun parody yea, AL doesn't really playing them a lot. Well, let me let me just say this, people don't know what they are anymore. Um. I actually this morning, uh, during the morning show, I had to fill forty five seconds. I was seconds short. That's my job before the show, make sure there's a clock time that there's a hard time clock and we have to end at a certain time. And I fell short up at forty five seconds. And being that at St Patrick's weekend, I pulled out an old bit that was exactly seconds. It was called leper condoms. Oh sure you actually could? Could you play leper leper l E p R no leper condoms L E p R E play play it and then you tell me, because I have a point to this, but that's not a parody. That's a spoof. It's a stove commercial sketch. It's it, right, but it's it's spoofing a real product, right, So it's it's a type of parody. Sure L E p R E C. And then and then just play just search for condoms and how the system works. I'm good, Okay, let's listen to this. She's the Dame of year. Everyone to weave it ilish say, Colleen, would you be wanting to come over to my place to help me wax my shell? Rey? Now that I would? Matt Patrick, if you bearing the green, there's a smart classie. He's making sure her lady's wearing the kelly green protiction of lepre condoms. Don't be wishing not a four leaft clover a solent for the gift to gab, especially if you're planning on kissing some BLINDI stones. What have you be doubling in your prediction with lipre condoms. They're strong enough for a man, but I like him too, So catch yourself a lipre condom and you won't be catching anything else. Okay, all right, So now that we played that this morning, the picture. We haven't played this in a while. This is a bit I wrote a long time ago. If you know what leprosy is, leprosy is when your body fall off. So here's here's a bit I wrote, Happy St. Patrick's Day. I'm a liprichn no, not a lepra con, a leper con, and I'm here to wish you a happy St. Patrick's Day as we welcome the spirit of St. Patrick with open arms, open arm. St Patrick's Day is a time when we as a people put o best food forward, our ownly food forward. So let's raise a glass and toast. Okay, someone raised my glass for me. May you live long and always get the heads you've been listening to a St. Patrick's Day Wish from a Leper. Now here's the thing, so basically but with more sound for radio. Do you know that when I played that this morning, people started texting in where can I buy these? Yeah? That's the thing. We don't know. The thing is they want to download and they want all of them. They want to get them. But people, what I'm trying to get at here, Brodie is people don't understand, like the humor is lost. These people think that everything that they're hearing is like there there is they really wanted. These people were asking about I thought they were asking where to buy the bit. No, they want to know where to buy leper can buy these condoms? Are these for sale? What's the website? They were asking me what the website is? Oh? Do you understand what I'm saying? Like, what I'm saying is the humor is lost on on people. Some people listening. Maybe it's younger generations of people that don't understand. I got one more, and I got one more. You gotta play it, hold on And I request from the people who brought you the Shamrock Shank Redemption. Try Clover Films Presents Lepricns, Duffy, Duffy, dude, I need some green clovers, man, come on, help me out, Duffy. Oh, I'll give you your green clovers there, Laddy, but first you have to do something for me, anything, Duffy, anything, man. Just give me some green clovers. Dude. Come on lepri Cons. When you've got the itch, the little Lepricn man, I'll make you his bitch. Now. All I'm wanting you to do is shank O Malley in the shower right after he comes out of the exercise yard. He's been selling way too many pink arts. It's cutting into me business. Hey O Mally, your pink heart business. It's just been heartbroken. Lepricaans rated p o G for Hot of Gold. It's tragically malicious. I didn't write that one. Okay, Well, there's one that you did right that I want to hear right now. This is my special request for your a parody coom Nope Miller number five. Oh boy, Miller number five. You know you remember the song Mambo number five. This is one of my favorite St. Patrick's parodies of all time. By the way, we didn't plan this bit, but we're now doing it. We have. We have a computer with hundreds of these things. Let me let me say that the person singing this song is the same guy got the phone, tap you, and then I'm gonna play the parody I actually wrote this year. All right, so this is a parody of uh my mambo number five you just said Combo number five parody one of the best parties I ever wrote, which is about Chinese food written, Yeah, no vegetables. All here we got, gentlemen, this is Miller number five. I mean two, three, four five. Everybody I have the car plays I shouldn't drive to the liquor store around the corner. The boys say they want something and juice. I want a Corona beer keg like I had last week. But it's my drink because but it's cheap. I like Amy, like Miller Life, but lighting chors like and I will continue. You know, I'm drinking all nine, So what can't I do. I'm really drinking on the floor. To me, drinking, it's just like a sport. Anything he calls us, all good, Let me drink it. Please, got me a funnel, A little bit of cold Miller High Life, a little bit of hin Akin in a fight, a little bit of a Guinness maybe three, a little bit of Seamus not for me, a little bit of sand Adams right now, a little bit of Boston and Zingow, a little bit of Killions here I am. I'm drinking in a bottle or a can. I hey, Donny Tillo shot everybody. I had to rhyme ching dao or something. I love that. That gets me every time. Yeah, So that that was. That was that's old. That's uh well, lou Bega made that song in the year two thousand. Wow, that would be twenty years by the way, song was twenty years old. Yeah. Not to not to date this, but I met the Morning Show on St. Patrick's day you did. It was at years ago. We were doing a live broadcast from probably the quintessential Irish pub called Connolly's in Manhattan. It's off the Parade Route on There's a lot of Connollys in Manhattan, but it's the one specifically one. You aren't there that day, right, You were at back in Michigan Control, Yes, because there was a problem between Madison Avenue and Fifth at right, and I had been writing song parodies and spoof commercials for the Morning Show for about four months. That places like three four floors. But right, and you guys were like, oh, we went to a live broadcast, you should come meet everybody, be great, Right, I ended up not showing right you were there? Uh, and I will say that, uh you know, actually I was there. If John Stewart showed up too, that was not that day. Star was a later time later. Yeah, we used to do this a lot of broadcast from Connolly's every year back I think played there that the funky kay Lee song song you weren't there You were back at Michigantrol with a couple of dad d I was born to play the funky Kayley Um. And you know what, you know who's doing it tomorrow? Carrying on that tradition is our friends down the hall at at the rock radio station Q and at four point three Jim Kerr and Shelly Sunsteen will be there from nine am until noon doing like a Saturday morning late morning broadcast. How great is that? All right? Hey listen? So I got I got a parody I want to play that I wrote for this year. I want to play it right after this. All right, So this I wrote. It's a current hit at the time that I wrote this parody I don't know what You'll be listening to podcast ten years and now, I like, that's not current. You'll know the song. And I think I think this singer might be even though she's drunk sounding drunk in the song, might be a little more cleared, uneasy to under stand in the original sin is it flet drunk? No? Here we go? Have you seen day? Everybody say Pastor's Day. It's on. Started off with a scotch, have some Jamerson whiskey againness and a bass something. I bought these remy have about. I'm so thankful. I want to say thank you to jim Me and thank you Jack Daniels. One shot of rong, one mind your racer, and one shot. I'm grain now. My eyes are glazing. My cookies have been tossed, but that hasn't stopped me. I drank some sir rock some guy just bought me, and for that, I say, drank you next, next, drank you next, next, drank you next. I'm so freaking drunk, get me up back, drank you next day. It's gonna be like I'm going to have some sex. Yeah No, I didn't do that. I kept it about Alcole. I do I right, Becks, I got it, becksference, I got a sack, and there I got. I come up with everything. I was going to go from the to the cock, but I'm not. That's not the kind of parody. I right, it's gotta go on the radio. Usually I wrote this for our show. If you wrote it for our show, you would have went to filthy direction. I can't not this show. I wrote it for the Olvistraight Morning Show e d m S. But it didn't get played today. So I played on their loss is our gain here at the Brooklyn Boys podcast. Alright, Elvis did say do that on your podcast? He did, so, we said, we said we will. Thank god, you guys get to hear them. Listen, I wrote. I wrote, uh, like five or six St. Patrick's Day songs. This week. I had to write a rock song. I wrote a country song. I should probably play those two at some point, maybe next week, Okay, to show you like what else I do besides the top forty. Al Right, So I got some unused jokes and I gotta complaint, okay, and we'll get to have one unused joke. Alright. So, uh, what happened at the Golden Nugget Casino. Oh that was funny. What was the set up? Somebody something with poop? Somebody somebody went to the bathroom in the pool at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. Is that what happened? There was something poop involved? Yes, yeah, someone cracked in the pot. And what was your joke? Oh? No, it was in the It was in the hotel room, right. They found it all over the wall, They found it on the wheel. It was the poop everywhere. Yeah, so I said, Okay, so I guess they were staying at the Brown Nugget. Hello, That's all I had. I wasn't very funny, so that, as I pointed out, I've been I've been sick, so I really and plus Elvis, Stan Yell and Gandhi, I'm not been in the studio. They've been in the Los Angeles for Theready Music Awards, so I haven't been writing as many jokes on paper and pretty minute chat room for them to say. You know, but here was And I didn't write those down, the ones that we didn't get to. But I wrote a couple of jokes about the college scandal. But Felicity Hoffman and uh, you know that whole Laura Lockerlin and Becky from Full House. So I so I said, you know, uh, Felicia, Felicity Hoffman, what do you expect you both? Thing is she she was a desperate housewife, had no options, hio. And then I said, oh, terrible, just shameless because her husband is star all right. And then um, we were talking about a new diet that that Elvis wants to try. It's called the Taco Cleans and I said, yeah, that's brought to you by Summer's Eve. He did not want to touch that, which is not surprising for Elvis. They wouldn't want to touch that. Uh. That was it, just those three short segment. So now, what's what's angering you this week? Brody? So this is something that I know angers you. We may have talked about it, but I got to the point where I was not going to accept it. Oh, I get my vocal cords ready to help you on this one. Yeah, I'm gonna get my them. Salad. I lost my voice all weekend, the top salad thing. I was screaming at the top of my lungs. So I'm at target now. If you've been most Targets I've been to have this. I love Target, by the way, it's not a bash on Target. But Target has double registers. Right, you pull up to the register and then if you look, there's another one straight ahead another one. Now, if you ask me, they should be staggered a little bit, like it shouldn't be directly in front of you. It should be a little off to the right so that you can see the register. You can't always see it, right. What happens is there's let's say register one, register to three, six, seven, eight, and then right behind those eleven, twelve, So like nine is behind one, ten is behind two, right, all two rows. Okay, but if you're on the back row you can't always get to the front register. That's not enough room. So like that, Oh you're on register nine and register one is empty, you can't get there, right, okay, Sometimes you can scooch around maybe whatever planning by the way and designing the place. Yeah. So I'm on the line and I'm second in line. I pull up to register leven, right, and as I get on the line, she turns the light off. Cash here, So now you gotta help me. I got there when the light was on, so she says, I'm sorry, we're closed. You can't do that, so I go. So the woman, the woman pulls away who was being run off, is I'm closed? I said, yeah, I know, but I just waited for her to be rung up on this line. Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm I'm closed. Okay, I can stop right there. The correct thing to do would have been trying the light back on. Turn order while there's a customer in front of you. Turn the light off, right so that will be the last customer, and tell me to tell the person behind me when the person walks away. Right. But I'm there when the light was on and she turned it off as that right, okay. So I'm like, you know what, I don't want to start a fight. I'm just okay. Fine, so I did. I'm now third online at the at register let's say four, the one that's right in front. I'm fourth in line. So somebody as she's the girl right by me. A woman pulls up and the girl says, I'm sorry, we're closed now. I'm I'm so far in the register front of me now at register four that my ass is even with her cash register behind me, Like I haven't cleared the aisle behind me. You know what I'm saying. So my butt is still next to where you would have swiped the credit card on the line I was just told was closed. This guy with keys on his belt and a target vest. Here's the girl tell the woman who just pulled up to the line eleven that she's closed. He goes, no, go ahead, ring her up. So she brings her up. So I go, oh, excuse me, I just was on that lawn. I left my car and I walked over to him. Yeah, I said, excuse me, thank you, I'm next. I was just on that line and the girl told me you were closed, and now I'm third in line and that register she's ringing that woman up. If anything, you should have said, your guy your third online, you should get wrung up. Oh I didn't know that. So I said okay, and he walked away. He's I'm terribly sorry about that, honest mistake. So I said, um, excuse me. Yeah, here's what you're gonna do. Legit. He we said what I said, you're there. The manager goes, yeah, I'm the I'm the supervisor of the front end manager. Whatever he said. So I said, uh, I'd like you to ring me up. This is what I said you, I'd like you to ring me up because I was next to be rung up. I waited, and when I got to the register right, in fact, when I pulled up, I was technically third on the back register. One woman was just finishing. The woman then got wrung up, and as the woman in front of me got rung up as when the light went off, I said, so I already waited my time in line. Now I'm waiting again on third online and that woman just pulled up was told clothes like me. I said, I'd like you to ring me up. Can you open up on these empty registers because you're shorthanded apparently, and you're not ringing anybody up. You see these lines everywhere, truth, Can you just ring me up? So he says, yeah, right, and he ring me up. So that was my that was my free dessert. I cut the line, I got back. I got one good. So that's so my point one is, don't take ship. Don't take ship like some of these people that set this email, right, they ate their ship. Okay, So that was I don't know, Friday night, right Sunday, I gotta go shopping again because we were out of something. A dog for. I go back. So I get to target again and I'm on the back register and there's lines. So I'm like fourth in line at the back register and there's only like three registers open. The places packed. There's three people behind me. That's how long the line is. I see a girl walk over to the register next to the one and I'm online for, and she says to the person at the end of my line, excuse me, I'm open now, and the two people of the three behind me go to that register. No, that's how it works. That's how it works. Oh no, you come to me and you say, excuse me, you're next. Thank you. Next, would you like to come to my register? You don't pull people from the back of the line who are supposed to wait and say I'm open, come to my register. So the person who was behind me, right, they're annoyed because the person behind them went first, so they're pissed. So I see the guy, the same guy from two days earlier, and I so I see him, the same guy, Malcolm. That's his name, Malcolm. So I said may Malcolm, and he looked at me like, oh fuck. So I left the line. I said, dude, I know this this is not gonna believe this, I said, But I'm online, I'm here, I'm I'm waiting on this line. It was five deep, and now I'm I'm second behind a woman with like a shipload of groceries. And you see and you open up a register right next door, and and and he goes, well, you know, those people can get to it easier because you're in the you're in the aisle. I go, I don't care. Why are the people behind me going first? Why how does that work? I said? You are the cashier, front end manager. Your job is to manage the front. How is that the sensible way to handle it? To open up a lane? Look, open up the lane in front of me, Open up with the register in the lane directly in front of me, and say, excuse me, sir, pull up And I would have pulled up. Hasn't Malcolm seen superstore? I don't understand. So scary? I ask you, how would you have responded if the three people behind you got to get on the short line. I would have flipped my ship man. That's my point is, I don't know if I would have caused the scene, because I don't know who's looking and who's watching and like, oh that's scary Jones from the Elvis Show. I'm gonna call in on Monday and fucking ripping because he's acting like like like a a lunatic. So I don't want that, okay, So I don't have to have some kind of decorum. So I looked at Malcolm and I looked at him. They're like, you know what I want, you know what I want. And he shrugged his shoulders and went come, gave me the head like, and I he took me in the register where he should come, and he wrung me up. But so here's what I did. As he's ringing me up. I took my hand and I waved people over like I gave him the wave like we were open, and he got stuck the line. Fuck you, Malcolm, Fuck you, you're not gonna you learn how to run your front end. If you're the manager, absolutely you tell the girl go to that redister and take the next guy in line, not go to the back of the line. And you can't have the insane people running the asylum where you just let people just rush the fucking open register. You have to do the front of manager and direct traffic with authority. And you need to know who's next. Yeah. And by the way, redheaded family that was two behind me, fuck you two, because you should have said, excuse me, this guy with these people in front of the all okay, don't do that. That's not nice. That's redheads in my family, red hair as a kid. My point was, I remember them as the redheaded family. But they were like they were quick. They were quick to go, oh, open register, where's your class, where's your class to go? These people were ahead of me exactly. It. Well, you know you can't assume that these days, you can't. And people from all f you, Malcolm. I get Malcolm a halff you because he the the right thing. Again. Yeah, you should have seen the look. I was like, dude, he was like, all right, all right now, if he sees me again, he's gonna run. At this point, I'll say, but I'm telling you it worked again. This is what you can do for me. It worked. By the way that Larry David music we were just playing from creb your Enthusiasm. I used it in my instant story when we went to that charity event because they had an art auction on the first floor and there was a someone did a painting of Larry David's face, and I said, oh, this is too good not to do this, and I literally like started zooming in on the painting and I had and I put the music in the background. So so uh, six people sent that to me and they all said, you probably have already seen this a bunch of times already, but and showed me the thing. So I very much appreciate that when you saw that, you thought of me and the show. But I followed scary, so I did see it. But I like that other person who I followed, and she and this person he follows everyone back on the show and then some and but not me. One day, well I un followed him. Well maybe you used to follow him and unfollowed him, and now you're trying to follow him again, and he's like he's interne out of rotation. My man, he is out, but he follows me. So I care about Okay, selfish, Listen, you have more followers than I do. You were in the Instagram game long before me, and you you you're, by the way, and you're much more active on Instagram. I like to buy a pepper. You're a Twitter guy. Instagram, by the way, I posted something that wasn't political, but I posted something about the college scandal, and it was a little a little like it wasn't political, but it was like it was current eventish a little bit of a rant, and a bunch of people were like, dude, did you meet to send this out from your other account to private one? And I'm like, no, no, I meant it. Yeah yeah yeah, oh yeah yeah. Anyway, that's another episode for us. So I had I had a good time to do you have a good time today? Yeah? It was good. It was a lot of fun. You're a little slow with the controls on the board. It was perfect with the slow, but I'm sick. I had everything ready. I'm good. Okay, we're sitting here. Oh, we gonna talking about your Celtzic from boy from Celtsic from you know what celts So we came it keep from Broek Boys, not Rocklin Brocklina Boys, rock Rock Las
